Hey guys welcome back to my channel, so today I am going to show you an alternative to adding makeup to your bald cap. I know that if you go to the beauty supply stores, it's really really really difficult to find wig caps that are a variety of shades of brown. It'S either the really really light pale color or the really really dark or a black wig cap. So I got the idea to attempt my wig cap when I was tinting the lace on one of my frontals, and I was like. Let me try. Let me see if this will work, so I ended up boiling some water. The same thing that I would do if I was tinting than actual frontal or wig, and then I poured in a few drops of my adore mocha semi-permanent hair color, and then I stirred the hair color into the hot water. A few tips that I've learned from doing this entire process is that the more dye you add to the bowl, the darker the wig cap, will be the lighter. You want your wig cap to be the less time you add to the bowl, because the water will dilute that hair color. So basically, if you are of a lighter complexion, you just want attention or wig cap a couple of shades darker than the beige color that it comes in. You would use more water, only a few drops of the hair dye and then you will leave your wig cap in the solution for a shorter amount of time. It is the complete opposite for the darker colors of wig cap. So if you want a darker wig cap, you would basically just use less water more of the hair dye and leave it on for a longer period of time. I recommend for the darker complexions or the darker wig caps to leave them on for an hour or longer, depending on the color that you're going for similar. It said sensing the lace on your wigs or your lace. Frontals. You do not necessarily have to use this hair dye, you don't have to use hair dye at all. You can use ripped fabric dye, which you can get from your local fabric store. You can also use coffee tea or anything that stains fabric to get it a darker color. There are times that I do put my wig caps in the solution and they do dry lighter, and I would have to do it again and then it does become my skin color perfectly when you are looking at the color of it. Just keep in mind that, because it is wet, it does seem darker than what it actually is so make sure that you tinted a couple of shades darker than your complexion, because when it dries, it will be your color. But if it's your color while it's wet, it's gon na be light when it dries so here's a side-by-side comparison of the original beige color and then after it was tented. As you can see, it's much darker and it's much closer to my skin color. Now that I have ten today, I don't have to worry about putting makeup on it, so I do find this method to be easier. I do suggest you doing a bunch of wig caps at one time so that you won't have to constantly keep putting dye on it every single time you do an install or you change your wig. So I hope this tutorial was helpful. Please let me know your thoughts down below in the comment section. If you tried this, please let me know down below how it turned out for you and, as always, thank you so much for watching be sure to hit that subscribe, button down below and turn on.
