Hi everybody so today we're doing a really fun video. You know where I do really well she's been in a bunch of my videos, some she's, not so many, so she is been blonde for years and years in Europe and my last view of her. We actually took her bright red, which was super fun but she's great, even more of a natural look. She missed your extension, so we are going to be doing what are you doing blonde runs abroad, but we're using a habit matter? Okay, so guys, I think, we're fine. So if we do have a darker base with some like balayage highlights throughout and we're going to throw her extensions in, so I am going to run through the way I do with your hair avoid mix it up. I apply it and then we're also going to her intentions but you're interested in this skate chances. Are you guys I'm really excited about this? I'M trying a bunch of new things today, so the first up is going to be joy, coat, color intensity, eraser. So technically, this is only supposed to erase intense colors like fashion colors channels, red paints purples. But I heard from a few other hairdressers that it can remove. You know brighter colors like red, if they're permanent, so since she saw a little bit of red in her hair, we are going to be trying this to see if we can pull it out a little bit of history on Borrelia. Last time you guys saw my video I did for on her and she left it then about four weeks later, we decided to do a little more of a natural color, so we actually based her with like a four end, then Bobby I'll show round, and some Of your eggs got pretty light, but some of them are still holding up that pinky red Tom. So that's why I'm going to use this, so this is going to be my first process. This is going to be like a double to triple process today. So it's going to be super exciting. Oh it's um, I'm gon na mix up the drink'll, color intensity, eraser and the ratio is one to two. So I am going to empty this packet into my bowl, making sure I measure that rise to 30 grams and it's with 20 volume and I'm going to take that out to 90 grams since it's to the one alright so step, one is mixed up. Let'S get this in the other room, put it on and see what it does alright. So I'm just going through and working this joy coat, color eraser throughout her ends. Wherever I see the red or the pigment that I'm trying to remove, I'm kind of just working it through like it's a balayage, I don't want it to be a harsh line. I think I'm just kind of trained to do that at this point, so I am just using my mesh foams and going up step by step and, as you can see it, this section right here, there's blonde in the middle, so I'm going to be avoiding that Section and just doing it where I have like the dark brown or the red pigment, because I that's already blonde enough for me, so I don't need to erase anything okay. So after this eraser sat for 25 minutes at room temperature, I took her to the bowl and we did a quick bleach wash on her ends, and this is the result. It'S a little bit red a little bit peachy. So now we are going to go through and just do an all-over bleach application and I'm just taking very fine sections, as you can see working my way up the head and the goal here is to just kick out any of that red pigment that peachy pigment We want to get to a better all-over color before we can do the rest. All right, cute Mariah, is all wrapped up in her cap and we're gon na. Let her sit under the dryer for about five to ten minutes. This is at the very end. It'S already been sitting for about 25 all right. This is her hair. After the bleach, it's a little bit red in the root and gold on the ends. Two hours later, we add a so we crazy thing happened. So we did the Jamaica coloring complete eraser it lifted up pretty good. There were some spots there, so pretty vibrant red tip Emily vividly trucks in the bowl that worked a little more and then we just did an all-over bleach. On top of that, I don't insert a picture now kind of look orange and red, so I wan na bleach any mustard or scalp. So we're going to mix up three different formulations and I'm going to go in and while the oddish and I'm going to cut some of the red foam place in a dark room floor and then lift out the remaining. So let's color I'm gon na mix. For this, this is the color correction. This is crazy. This you know you never know what color correction it could take hours. It can happen overnight. You just don't know what color, so I apologize in advance is probably gon na be a long video if you are into this and keep watching okay for this part of the process, I'm going to be mixing up three different things. So right now I am using gold, well colorants, for n with the processing lotion, and this is two to one ratio, and I am using this on the very top of her hair. This is going to be my base color and then, after that, I'm going to be mixing up. Six a gold well color, runs as well, and gold. Well, color runs as a demi-permanent line and then I'm mixing up my Lightner, which is red, can flash with lift whoa, can't talking with 20 volume and olaplex, of course, and I just said 1/8 ounce of olaplex okay. So what I'm doing now, as you can see, she has her natural regrow, some banding from where we lifted the bright red and then the kind of blond orange tone, so we're working with all three we're gon na put that four and right on her natural regrowth And you know, what's funny, you guys is as we got this dried and she kind of is looking a little more blonde where there is blond. She was like I kind of prefer the dark on me, like the blonde washes me out so she's gotten used to that dark tone, so we're excited that we get to go, put dark back over it seriously, okay and then really have the red tone, I'm putting That 6a right over it to help counteract that red and I'm just kind of smashing those together with my color brush and then I'm going to work that together with my hands and then I'm going to take my white nerve and just balayage around that. To pop a little bit of that brass out and, like I said we're only using 20 volumes, we don't want any more damage to her hair and there's a coarse olaplex in this mix. When you are doing a color correction like this, it's super important that you don't just go in through a one, solid color over it or just one. You know bleach wash or something, and you can do a bleach wash to get to this point - that you don't want to just like highlight it or just do one solid color, because since there are three different tones, I'm not here, you have to treat each tone Differently, you, okay, so this is what we ended up with after we did that last process, and now we are doing the for sure final color, so now that we're a little more evened out, I'm going to do baby lights around her whole head. So, as you can see, I'm just doing really fine baby lights and little to no subsections, we're just leaving his little hair out as possible because we want to get her. You know pretty lifted out. So i can tone to the correct um tone we're going for. Okay and now I am using that six - a gold wok color ons and putting it in between her foils - and this is just to give her a little more of a base and also to counteract any red that was left behind. So I am just putting that in between every single coil, dragging it down about two to three inches alright, now for the drop out, so as you can see, I'm taking every little hair that was left out of the foil and I'm coloring it so on this. First one: I am meeting that 6a in the root with a 7g for the ends and the reason I'm using a G is because her hair is a little more blonde right now and I didn't want it to go green. So I put the G to keep a little bit of warmth and dimension in the hair on the remaining dropouts, I'm feathering in my Lightner, and this is just to kick out the remaining brass and red and get it to a nice pretty blonde. Okay, you guys so we just finished foiling her entire head. I did a full head of baby lights and then I did a root color in between each of the foils and then I teased out her ends, alternating Lightner and the 7g that I was using now. She'S going to process for about 35 minutes and then we're going to tone up the bowl, we're hoping that all of the red comes out so it'll keep you updated. Alright, I'm going to be using a 4n gold. Well, color runs on her base in the bowl, and I am going to be just rooting her with this and the reason I choose a Dem eye color to do this is because it tends to fade out a little more naturally, and that way my client can Change her hair more easily if she decides to in the future which she clearly doesn't and to tone her ends. I am using these four shades and I really love shades eq, as you know, so i am mixing these up and i'm doing about half an ounce of each color. So i will have 2 ounces of toner and 2 ounces, a processing solution, equaling 4 ounces of toner total here, I'm just taking her base color about 4n and I'm dragging it down about three to four inches and I am just going around the entire head. I divided it into five quadrants two in the back two on the sides and a rectangular piece in her bang, which I do very last and I just wanted to put a disclaimer out there. You guys this was a color correction. We bleached her hair like six times within seven hours. I would not recommend that unless you were a licensed professional and you feel comfortable with this type of process, I know my clients hair, very well. I'Ve been doing it for about a year and a half her hair is very strong and I would not have done it if I didn't feel her hair could handle it, and I only ever use 20 volume and lower. So, just to let you guys know, I was very safe about it, and here I'm just mixing the toner in with her root color - and I left this on for about 10 minutes. You, oh, my freaking out like one is one o'clock in morning. It first snowfall of the season happened right outside our window and, if you're a fan of Gilmore Girls, which you should be, you will understand our excitement. So we smell snow, it's not okay. We finally finish in my dreams. At 6:12 fifty fifty a.m. we started at 6:00 yeah, so it's been six hours, if not more, we went through six different colors six different purposes, but we finally got this and we're super excited with it. Um, we decided not to do her extensions tonight, just because it's so late, so I will do a video when we put her extensions in but we're super hungry. With this, we got most of the red out, there's like just a teeny teeny teeny bit of red throughout some of the pieces that she washes her hair and I would come out - and we can always tell her to touch that up, but people most permeated it. We'Re just so excited so if you watch this whole video, you get a thumbs up and don't forget to give me a thumbs up and like and subscribe. Let me know in the comments below what you thought, tips and tricks. You might have constructive criticism. Any of that is, you know, always welcome. So thank you guys for watching and, like I said, don't forget to Like and subscribe goodnight okay guys. So it's actually the next day and we were again we are not putting in her hair extension. So we have her deepens, they are toned to match her hair. Hopefully, so we are gon na. Have this issue like what is weird elbows in I'm, going to do an in-depth tutorial on how to add those in I place, my team is, and I think they saw us make it starting to snow. Then we have actual snow. Okay. Thank you. Okay, I'm going to go through and show you the placement of the first three teeth pins, so the very bottom of her hair towards the nape. I did one right in the middle and then I did two on the angle. As I work my way up the head and then I'm just going to continue to Breck lay so I'll. Probably do one right here, a few more right here and then I'll just continue working in my Ingles around the corners okay. So what I like to do when I'm doing extensions, I take her natural hair and I'll, take my blending shears and just kind of notch into her hair. That way, since she has a lot of Blancas, it's going to blend really well with the teeth ends and sometimes only been working. My way down, like that, just a teeny bit to add texture. Sorry, sir, maybe Leo said they're all out of this and then that just softens the line a little bit as you can see. So as you can see, I did a Brickley pattern, so I have three extensions right here and then below it in between the gaps. I have two others and I just use a brick lay pattern up the head, but this is obsession like I could cry right. What the more I like, sometimes like I'm gon na bond it so much. I'M gon na need this in the video Sarah. How much do you love this color, I'm gon na cry. She actually really will cry. I love it. Oh, my gosh she's seriously, crying she's, just emotional, you and, as I continue around to the side of the head, I brick late as well, and I just try to fill in the gaps and as you can like, as you place, your tapings you'll start to see Where there are gaps and it'll be easier to fill it in, and I apologize this video isn't very good only because the lighting at my salon is so terrible at night, so everything looks really cold and dark. So I promise were here: wasn't that goal? That'S just the lighting, it was super deceiving, but it made it hard to film. So I will do a more in-depth tutorial. If you guys want it, I tried to do it, but it just wasn't working and then I also like to angle the tapings when they're around the phase. I don't think this one was an angle, but I do like to place that on an angle so that when it falls forward, it falls really naturally and they're still able to pull their hair back as well. I do love it right. You

josiehairstylist: I've been a hairstylists for 10 years and I know how hard these color corrections can be, and I am very impressed by how beautiful it turned out! One of your best jobs ever! If I would live near you were definitely doing my hair and as a hairstylist you know how much it means because we tend to be the worst clients

LeandraD: Love your outfit. You always look so put together!!

Macie Villarreal: Learn something new every video! This is amazing - you make it look so easy ❤️

RealLife07: Hey jessi gish- You did a beautiful job! Maybe next time use Pravana's color extractor twice, then go through and bleach with 20 vol using the platinum card technique- taking small slices and bleaching every slice with foils (the whole head- every piece of hair), then pre-tone and do the highlights and lowlights as needed. :)

Aidee Castro: Love videos like these!!! True life situations KEEP THEM COMING girly!!

Alisha Abraham: Incredible! Such a huge transformation and it turned out beautiful, just like I knew it would! Another awesome, awesome job Jessi!!

Carmen Ramirez: Jessi you are one of my favorites!!! I literally learn so much from watching you. I'm a stylist in Draper. I am going to come get my hair done from you one day!!!!

Emily Partain: As a cosmetologist these videos are so helpful! Thanks for sharing difficult colors like this and being so in depth! You're awesome and gorgeous!!!

Sammi Mason: Loved the video Jessi! Your work is amazing. Just a tip from another stylist, when blow drying, if you use the nozzle to blow dry the cuticle layer of the hair downward it will make the hair look and feel much silkier instead of frizzy. This will make it easier when styling and also make the client think "wow that treatment she did really made my hair feel good, I should get it every time!"

Rou'a Homsi: And here I am looking for a hairstylist that would only just only cut my hair properly where I live, not asking for more. I'm going to cry over how talented you are. All love and support from Jordan.

Thea Mikolajczyk: Just started watching your videos and you are so talented! And oh my gosh this color correction was crazy! I'm glad you showed the in between stages because I know most people have no idea!!! I'm a hairdresser by the way if you couldn't tell! Keep up the great work!!

Lane Litzelman: I can’t even imagine how much that cost looks beautiful

Stelle 2203: that was awesome! end result looked amazing!! yeah girl!!

darlene robinson: Thank you so much for what you do. Watching your videos are always a joy and a learning experience .....Wish I had watch this a day ago. Actually did a color correction for a client that wasn’t mine, for a color that I did not do. It took me about 9 hours. I was exhausted. . When I was done it was amazing. However, I’m not a color specialist at ALL, and didnt know how much to charge. $250 is what I got for the job. But I still feel like I took a monetary lost. Products used, that could have been used on other clients yielding more than $250. On the other hand the experience and the result was priceless and I couldn’t be more happier with the results and the accolades I received for a job well done

Sarah Weemes: Girl, you are a trooper! I think I would've cried halfway through amazing job!

Sarah Chambless: Amazing talent...I don't know how you keep up with all the different formulations for each part of her hair!!! It's truly a work of art!

Saradise: I graduate cosmetology in July and honestly you are such an inspiration to me!!

Christos Machattos: i loved it.. you did an amazing job!

Quinn Stephenson: Well done! Her final results are beautiful!

Kimberly: Holy crap I would have been sweating correcting this and I'm a seasoned stylist! Bahahahaha! Wowza! And I wish I had those cute wall hooks you put your capes and jackets on! Great video as usual! #biggestfan

Aleena Butler: I love super complicated color like this. I love the challenge. These videos are so fun to watch.

Melanie Brown hairstylist: You are awesome! I newly subscribed to your channel and I think I have watched all your videos and I enjoyed every single one of them! I have been a hairstylist for 23 years and let me tell you I've seen it all! Lol! But what I like about you based on watching your videos is that you do not settle for less than perfection and you will not stop until you get the color you want to achieve and you don't care if it's hard work as long as the results are good. Oh and also you don't make it more complicated than what it is, your work is on point. I love it!!!

Jessica Argyle: I actually had this problem with a clients hair a couple months ago! I've only been doing hair for almost a year so I'm pretty new and this helps me a ton! Thanks!

Hairbyohregina: Wow what a process !! End results are bomb

Naomi Kirk: Hi Jessie, beautiful colour correction, I admire your dedication! I'm a qualified hairdresser in Australia and I'm curious to know how much you would charge for such a lengthy service? I find pricing really challenging when I'm trying not to over charge my client but also make it worth the time business wise.

Katlynn Alcorn: I LOVE it. It turned out so good!!

jennifer martinez: Love itttt!!!! Hey love quick little tip with the nozzle diffuser, turn it the other way (vertical) it'll be so much easier on your hand!!!

beautybylindsayc: so glad I found you... we definitely do a lot of things the same way! I've learned tape-ins in the past (a hundred years ago lol!) but you make them seem so easy--what brand/education did you use?

Rachael Moase: Really well done!!! Good job, girl!

Madeline Bryant: You're inspiring for cosmetologist everywhere!

morgan: if i could like this like 1200 more times i so would! jess i looove yr videos!! i told you that before but ur seriously my favorite! ur awesomeness inspires me. and ive been doing hair for 12 years and you have taught me things! like i said ur awesome!

Tessa Cress: girl I would be so afraid of damage I would've cried, but this is amazing, your so good at this.

Jennifer Jahns: I'm a licensed professional so keep that in mind when I'm asking this please. This was great to watch BTW. We don't get these too often, but it's always good to see the process! After the color remover you went in and did an all over bleach application. Why all over as you went in a couple times later and applied a 4 or 5 N on the base? Could you have left her darker base and just feathered on the lightener as you did with the color remover? Then after you got it all relatively cohesive, you went in and did baby lights. I was surprised at the level of toner (shades) used at the end and it wasn't as dark as I thought it was going to be, but did it need the baby lights? Going back in with a smudge root and the 7 toner wouldn't that have covered? AND lastly, I way under cut my prices. I never charge enough and have spent 5 hours once doing a color correction. I have to ask, what did you charge her?

Emily Elizabeth: Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us!

Abbey Martin: Such an amazing job girl! Absolutely gorgeous!! You can definitely tell you love your craft and your clients! Where did you purchase the wine colored top you were wearing at the end? I love it!

Tiger Moon: Honestly. What i desperately want to know is how do you look so beautiful and put together through the whole process!? I always look like a stressed hot mess. Lol. Phenomenal work lady. You are my idol.

michkay1: First, you must be a genius to have all those color formulations just ready to go like that! Lol! It would take me 6 hours just to figure out how many formulations should would need! But it did come out beautiful! Well done! Secondly, you are a trooper for sticking that color correction out for almost 7 hours! You do love your job and you can really tell! Third, I was just wondering, for a color correction like that took longer than expected and did take so long how would you charge for that? Do you just charge for each service or by the hour? Thank you!

Natalia Ortiz: Hi! As a cosmetology student I have so many questions. What type of color did you use? A toner, semi/demi, or permanent?

Corina Esquivel: Amazing !!! Red is hard to get rid of ! Love your amazing work . Wish you were in the LA area to teach a class I would totally go !!!

Jordan Kuykendall: Gosh every single one of your videos are just stunning. Kudos!

Sarah Butch: Thank you for the video jessi! May I ask what volume developer you used when you put bleach on after the eraser?

Warrior Goddess Crystal Geometry: Oh I see how many hours it took, you did such an amazing job I absolutely love it but again if you could be so kind as to tell me what you would charge for something like this to take so long I always get nervous about how much would you charge for something like this? Thank you very much

Joseph Grajeda: Outcome is worth the long hours!! I have a question , what extension brand do you use? I want to start looking into tape in extensions for my clients but don't know which brand to use...

No more War!: Gorg, your amazing jesse. hope I can be as good as you one day.

Nicole Lee: Wow that looks beautiful but omg that’s a lot on her hair in one day, and so much work! Lol you’re a trooper!

Richelle Rossi: Everytime I go to a salon they always rush when coloring or cutting my hair. It's like they have something eles better to do and want to hurry and get me outta there. They don't take the time like you did on her hair.!

Girl Meets Neverland: WOW!!! Amazing work! It's gorgeous!

Cody Edwards: Please do a video on how you choose your formulas and why. I have been watching all your videos lately and have learned so much but still need help on choosing the right toner formulas. Thanks!

Bruna Kelner: I looooooooove your videos! You are beautiful and so talented! I wish we could hear you better...
