Hey guys, it's me Ida, welcome back to my channel. So today, I'm gon na show you guys how I dyed my curly wig from Tinashe hair from black to this beautiful auburn color and all from buying a couple of dye boxes from Sally's, which is from the l'oreal high color for dark hair. Only what I love about this dye is that it does not have bleach in it, and so you won't have to worry about your hair, getting really dry or matted or tangled, which it usually does, and I try to dye my wigs. All I did was, I bought two boxes of the h6 light auburn color, because I want more of like highlights. If you want to do your whole head and you have longer thicker hair, I definitely recommend at least 3 boxes and what I did was. I bought a 30 volume developer because that's what it actually recommends. If you want to go even more vibrant and more lighter, I would get the 40 developer, so the application was really easy. All I did was pour the dye into a bowl mix that, in with my developer and just kind of mix it around to get a really nice consistency, so that you're able to easily distribute the dye onto the wig. And if you want, you can also follow the instructions on the box as well. They have really detailed, step-by-step instructions, but I just kind of eyeballed it and then just kind of mix it until everything was evenly distributed. And then I went on to just start applying the dye onto the wig. So first I was gon na go for like highlighted. Look because I only bought two boxes and I knew I had a lot of hair in this wig and it wasn't gon na cover the whole wig. And so. But I wanted to do this kind of quick and I just kind of freestyled it. To be honest and I put more in the front and because that's where I wanted to show more of like the highlight - and I kind of just basically just put it everywhere in the front - and I really saturated that really really well and after I was done With that section, I would go ahead and place that into aluminum foil, because that would speed up the dyeing process and then I would move on to the next section. So then I turn the wig around and I did the other side exactly the same procedure, saturated that very well with the dye and basically what I did was when I got to the roots. I did leave a little bit of roots because I kind of liked that natural look where it doesn't go all with the root. So once I was done with the two front sections I went ahead and I used the rest of the dye for the back of the hair and I basically just had to do it on the top layer, because I didn't have that much dye to do the Full head, but once I was done using that I went ahead and I kind of did the smoothing method, so I can kind of fully distribute the hair dye all over the back section, and once I was done with that, I went ahead and wrapped that up Again with aluminum foil - and I let it sit for about 45 minutes to an hour, and then I went ahead and rinse that out - and this is what I end up looking like after the color was very beautiful. It was actually true to color, which I was very surprised. I honestly didn't think it would come out as light as it did. It wasn't dry at all whatsoever. I did kind of leave a little bit of leave-in conditioner just in case, but I really didn't need to do that, and so this is what it looked like. It looked really really beautiful and I would definitely recommend this hair dye to anybody looking to lighten up their dark hair, and I think that I would probably try like a lighter, color or add, highlights to this just to kind of give it more of a really Nice summery look, but what do you guys think do you guys, like the black, better or the Auburn, and let me know if you guys have ever tried this dye before and what you guys think about it? What color would you guys try out? Thank you guys. So much for watching, if you guys enjoyed this video, go ahead and subscribe like comment and share and I'll see you guys next time, bye,

Yvonne J: Great job on that, Sis. Now I finally know how to die my wigs! Thanks for sharing!!❤️

Smiley Mobzzz: Thank you so much for this video!! You r freaking beautiful & that color is bomb on you!! You actually inspired me to get same color & I’m about to dye right now!!! I bought 3 boxes for a 26 inch wig. I pray it comes out just like urz! I just don’t know how long I should leave it on for. Maybe I will do 1 hour..thinking haha!

Patricia Dodd: Excellent!!. I was thinking about doing that same thing to of my wig. I Love the finished look and the lighter color. I am finding the lighter you go, the more it seems to open up your face and lighten up your complexion. The same is true with lighter lip sticks. I really like it, good job Lyda.

Sophia Mc Namara: Iv tried this dye a few times in red and magenta ...I'm currently waiting to do my bits of ombre light brown I had to order this in im in Ireland.you did a great job.both are beautiful on you.

BijouBisou: Nice result Lyda. I think it brings out the warmth in your eyes. A little lighter would have been lovely as well. I don't wear wigs but didn't think curly wigs could look this good. I guess I shouldn't be offended when people ask me if my curly hair is fake. LOL.

Shaneice Crawford: OMG SO PRETTY‼️ Great job ❤️

skye: You can also use henna, it naturally lightens your hair and has soooo many other benfits

Rachel Raquel: Hi iyda, I just started to follow you and all I can say is that you are amazing. I like the Auburn colour. Do you think I can do that also on my natural low porosity hair ?

Malavi Kamaleswaran: It looks amazing! But keep in mind that this hair dye does have bleach in it. That’s how it’s able to lighten extremely dark hair to a lighter shade. To lighten black/dark hair it has to have bleach in it and there really is no other way.

Shane: wow amazing! love this because its a more recent video and very explanatory. how do you think a 20 developer would work if im using one of the brown shades? or do all the boxes recommend the 30?

Stung by Samantha: Heeeeyyy GORGEOUS!!!❤❤❤

Lzheadfull ofhaircare: Gorg!

Shan: Notification gang gang
