Trying *Very Expensive* Hair Extensions | Googoo Hair (Are They Worth It?)

Hello there and welcome back to my channel so today i'm going to be trying out some seamless clip in hair extensions that a hair extensions brand called goo goo hair very kindly sent me so i have already kind of filmed this video. Once already. I had an issue with the footage being overexposed, so i'm filming this for a second time, so i have already tried out the hair extensions spoiler. I really love them. I just also want to make a point here just to say that, similar to when i filmed my review of the cream contour palette by you can be, i am absolutely no expert in hair extensions. I don't really wear hair extensions that frequently i've been known to don a halo, hair extension or maybe occasionally just when i want to kind of perk myself up a bit and you know just feel a bit glamorous occasionally i will clip in a hair extension, but I certainly am no expert. I am doing this review today and like try on just to kind of show you what they're like, but there was one thing that i really did think was quite maybe useful to touch upon because, as i previously just alluded to, i have tried halo, hair extensions And clipping hair extensions, these hair extensions that i've tried all of them have been very, very cheap and when i say cheap, i don't mean like cheaper than like tacky cheap. I just mean cheaper than they're, just very like cheap. They didn't cost me like. Hardly any money, so i thought that with trying the google hair extensions, which are they're, probably not actually that expensive compared to some of the other hair extension brands, but they're definitely a lot more expensive than all of the other hair extensions. I'Ve ever tried in my life is there actually that much difference in quality? You know, depending on how much you spend i mean i honestly i'd always thought. No, i thought to buy some cheap ass ones like how much worse can they be? You know what i mean, but i've kind of realized now since trying the google ones that actually there's a massive difference in how they feel and how they look. So i'm just going to show you the hair extensions that i got, google hair very kindly just let me pick out whatever i wanted and i decided to go with the seamless clipping hair extensions, because apparently these ones are definitely more geared towards those people that have Very thin, hair and i do have very thin hair, so i thought okay sounds like these are the ones for me, so i picked uh these ones, and these are in a light blonde shade. All of their hair extensions are available in 13 or so different shades. You also get five different lengths from 16 inch all the way up to 22 inch, and i do have the 22 inch length uh. Here'S my cat coming in to annoy me honestly. No i'm just joking she's, not, but she can read, but i love her. So much what is it girl? Is everything going good down now, she's, so cute, i love her. No girl! You can't mess with the new hair extension girl. Oh no, she wants to go for the hair extension. No girl no go so if you've ever bought. Like a set of clipping hair extensions before you'll know that you get like maybe like seven different pieces, you'll get ones that have clip like three clips in ones that have two clips in one step. Five clips in even sometimes ones that have one clip in and with this kit, that's no different. I'Ve got seven different pieces all with different numbers of clips in you know what i think i'll do i'm going to just pop these in first, so that you can see them going in. Please excuse my unprofessional application because i actually do not know what i'm doing. Also, i did just want to know that i have very thin hair, so i did actually struggle to fit all of these in because you know that with clippings you want to kind of hide them under your real hair so that you can't see the clips. But when you've got really thin hair anyway, it's actually really difficult to get a lot of these actually in and hidden, because it's just not enough hair to like cover the clips. If that makes sense, i would definitely say that, since trying these and trying the halo hair extension, i would recommend going for the halo hair extension if you have very thin hair, because i just think it would look more seamless and it would like look a lot More natural, so yeah, that's my little recommendation or you could even go for the clippings and just put like you know, maybe like a couple of them in just like add a little jenny sequoia anyway guys i'm going to go ahead. I'M going to pop these in and then i'm going to just tell you a little bit about them and also do you know what i'm going to chat as we're doing it. I can multitask. Yes, i can. I don't know if i can. I hope i can, but who knows so, i'm just going to start off with brushing my hair, so i did do a little bit of toner last night, because um yeah, the roots of my hair, were still looking like super warm and what yellow they were. Looking yellow - let's just say so, i did like tone the the roots last night. It'S made a tiny bit of a difference, but still is looking a little bit yellow honestly. So basically, i selected the shade of these before i decided that i was going to bleach. My hair again, so you will see my um, my kind of i say my natural hair is like platinum. This ain't, my natural hair color, of course, but um yeah. My hair currently is platinum. These are what i would describe. These has been like a beige blonde with uh highlights in them and yeah. They basically look. It'S like chalk and cheese, not a great color match, but that's on me it's on me, so these feel so soft and silky and do you know what was really interesting? Actually i am gon na. Do you know what i don't know if i can multitask, i don't think i can okay, i'm gon na pop these in and then i'll. Just tell you what i'm going to tell you, because i've realized. I cannot multitask especially not doing something like as skillful as hair extensions, because no way, no okay, so i've applied. Oh it's applied throughout my tears. I don't know inserted installed, like i don't know, but i've put in all of the extensions, with the exception of the one that has five clips. The reason why i've not put this in it is just because this is, i think, the trickiest one to put in and, as i said earlier, i just don't have enough hair. My hair is super thin and i feel like yeah. I just don't have a place for this. I feel like, if i wasn't going to put all the other ones in, and i just wanted to put this one in - i could find a place for it, but there is no more place on my scalp, where i could put this in with all of the Other ones being in and then hide them all so yeah, it's just a thin hair girls kind of problem. You know i'm really pleased i've actually put these in, because i can tell you like my thoughts on them and i can show you at the same time. I think it's super clear to see that i've got extensions in of course, but even if these extensions were a perfect match to my natural hair, i think you would still know that they were extensions, because the quality is just so much better than my real hair. So these are, i think, they're. Let me just double check because i don't want to give you any false info okay, so these extensions are made from 100 remy human hair, which i have to say, does kind of freak me out a little bit honestly but um. I think you can definitely see the clear difference in hair quality uh from this. You know, platinum, hair, that's been bleached and it's dry, and it's just desperately in need of a deep conditioning treatment. These extensions just have a really beautiful shine to them. They look silky smell, like i think, you'll agree with me when i say i just want to like lick them. I want to lick them because they look so smooth. Also. I did just want to know that these seamless clippings are different than regular clippings because they are 50 thinner and virtually undetectable. I think, with that point, they're actually referring to the clip the actual clip bait itself, and you know the band that the clips actually kind of are attached to is a super super thin band. I'Ve actually got some of my cheap ass ones, so these are extensions that i got from aliexpress ages ago. Actually, but if you compare like the two like, this band is just a bit thicker than this like this feels like it's kind of like a plastic tape, whereas on these cheap ass ones - and it looks more like a stitched, a bit of fabric and yeah. It'S definitely gon na, be, i think, trickier to hide than the thin plastic band. So yeah also right - and i know that probably a lot of you guys will be interested in this point, because i know that you all love a bargain. As do i, and in the past, like you know, when i've bought these hair extensions, let's begin with these ones from aliexpress, which cost under 10 pounds. I thought that these were brilliant, like very soft, very smooth. However, after i now have had the great joy of trying these 100 human remy hair, what does remy mean? I don't know i hope it doesn't mean this hair was stolen from someone when they were still alive, because i would not be supportive of that one bit. This hair extension now feels like very rough, coarse wiry. It'S lost all joy for me honestly and i think you can see the difference as well. This remy hair extension. Can you see the shine on that? I mean come on girlfriend, whereas this one here and i know the different shades - oh actually, it's quite shiny. Okay. I can't knock off her shininess you're, very shiny, actually you're. Keeping up with the you know the expensive extensions, but this one it just doesn't feel the same. You know it doesn't have that same kind of genesecut factor. I do have a couple of halo, hair extensions. I'Ve got a super duper cheap one here and i know it looks super bedraggled and messy. My cats were playing with it before i started filming, so that's great, even if they weren't playing with it. He still it looks good and - and you know one time before i tried this remy hair. I was thinking oh yeah. This looks fabulous but again in comparison with the remy hair extensions, it's passable, but there's a huge difference in quality, and i would definitely say if you're someone that really enjoys hair extensions and you wear them frequently. I think that you could definitely justify the extra cost going with like the remy human hair over like the cheaper version. I do think you'd get a much better quality. I was very dubious and cynical. I just thought to myself. Well, how much difference can there be like really because i was so satisfied with this? Like you know, more budget versions, and particularly and you'll, know this. If you saw in my review, but particularly this um halo, hair extension that i got from amazon, this was from amazon and it cost me. I think it was about 10 pounds and you know still to this day. I adore this. I love it. I'M gon na be wearing her like whenever i want to wear a halo hair extension because she is actually really beautiful, she's very bouncy. She feels soft and she's also got a nice kind of a bit of a shine to her nothing compared to the remy one, but i think, like you know, if i just hold these up side by side, can you see what i mean like these remy ones? Just look so shiny and silky and they feel exactly how you would expect them to feel like they've. I don't think my natural hair has ever felt or looked as good, actually as these remy ones, which is kind of sad honestly but okay. So i know that i've kind of compared the kind of cheaper alternative with the you know more expensive alternative, and it's only now that i realized i've not actually told you how much these remy gugu hair extensions that cost so the seamless hair extensions, the ones i'm Wearing these okay - and this is where again, i get a little bit cynical, so these are currently being sold for 89. However, it um, it does say that that's a sale price and the full time kind of pre-sale price is 209 and that's quite a significant difference. Honestly and i have to say i'm a little bit cynical - i'm not saying that. I don't think that these hair extensions are worth 209 because ultimately, something's only worth what someone's willing to pay for it, but no offense to google hair. But i have seen on other hair extension websites. They always seem to be doing these very dramatic um kind of substantial sales, and it does make me question like how long were they actually being sold for the 209? And i think as well, because i'm coming from a place of not really knowing all that much about hair extensions - i i don't know i just doubt really like - were they ever being sold for 209 or is like 89, their full-time price, so 89, converted to great British pounds is around 69 pounds and i would actually say that i think that that is a fair price for these hair extensions. Considering that you can style them, you can wash them, but you can basically just treat them like your real human hair at their super good quality they. What they are going to do, though, is they will show up your real hair. They really will like, if you thought you know what i think my real hair is in great condition. It looks shiny. It looks like it's been kissed by the hair angels. I think, when you put these extensions in you're gon na be thinking. Oh no it'll be like if i stood next to megan fox and then all all of a sudden. I realized how unattractive i am, i think, really that's all i just wanted to touch upon today. I just thought it'd be fun to try these on and you know i was really really keen just to really compare the more budget hair extensions with the more expensive hair extensions, and i definitely have realized that i think it's worth paying a little bit more. If you are, you know really into your hair extension, because i do think that there is a dramatic difference in quality. You know like with makeup. I think you could buy like a very affordable or cheap. I should say cheap, a very cheap eyeshadow palette and it could be as good a quality as a you know, more expensive, eyeshadow palette and the same with foundations and blushes and lipsticks and all kinds of makeup. But i think with hair extensions, although you could probably get some really brilliant like affordable ones. I do now think that you know the more you pay the better quality you get, although i would be very open to being corrected on that. So please feel free to enlighten me if, if you know otherwise, i would be very keen to know so anyway, guys i'm gon na go i'm gon na go. I feel so sassy with these extensions, and i just feel like i don't know, i was feeling like. Maybe a three out of ten before and now i'm feeling like a six out of ten anyway guys i am going to go, but i did just want to say thank you so much to google hair themselves for sending me these extensions. I'M definitely going to be wearing them and enjoying them, even though they don't match my real hair. I don't care, it's never stopped me before, so i'm going to be wearing them and enjoying them and also, i did just want to say - and i'm really sad that i threw the box away, but these hair extensions came to me like the cutest little box.
