Hey there, I'm Shannon, and today I'm going to be doing a super. Well, what used to be a super highly requested tutorial on how I do my green and black hair today, I'm just going to be doing a tiny little section in my bangs black and the rest is going to be green, so first things. First, let's get this wig on the stand, so we can start boom. Alright, so I'm putting the wig on the stand and I'm making sure it is completely even like straight forward and everything. So the black section comes out even and perfect and exactly half of the bangs, and now I am brushing this out so to start this part is extremely important. I am parting a little section. That'S going to be half the bangs. In my case. It'S going to be the left half of the bangs to be the black section, so I am sectioning this out, so I don't get any green on it. I'M also doing the green first, because if I do the green first and mess up, I can always cover it with the black. But if I do the black first and pluck up, there is no going back so now that we are good to go. I actually mix my own green color, which is why everyone's had such a hard time. Finding the green color that I use I'm starting with manic panics, electric lizard, which is like a neon green, and I am putting that in a bowl right here. But this is not a finished mixture, after that, I'm adding some twisted teal from enrage color and I'm only adding a little bit. But this makes the green darker and slightly bluer rather than a grassy neon green, and I am mixing that all together and in your case you can go as dark as you want. If you want to go darker, just add more twisted teal all right. So I am taking my green mixture and I'm going in straight for the kill and before you go in straight for the kill. If you also happen to be dyeing a wig, make sure that it is 100 % human hair. Because, prior to this video, I actually recorded this video two other times with two other wigs that I bought from wig stores, both of the wig stores, told me they were 100 % human hair and they turned out to be synthetic, and I ended up ruining two Whole wigs trying to do this, it seems like I have absolutely no luck when it comes to tacking wigs, but just so you guys don't make the same mistake. I do if you're ever dyeing a wig and you're pretty sure it's 100 % human hair just do a strand test. I did a strand test on this one and it actually worked and I almost cried tears of happiness because I was giving up hope. So, yes, if you are dying awake, just make sure that it's human hair before you go in for the kill, like I said, another tip for dying wakes. Is that it's a lot of hair and it's not on your head and you also can't be super rough with it, so it's super hard to get the dye in all the cracks and crevices starting right here I started to separate the West on the bottom to The top and dye the hair section by section just because that was way easier than just going from the roots to the tips like I was doing earlier and just kind of around and hoping for the best. I guess so if you want to be systematic and make things easier for yourself just separate the webs another thing I want to talk about, while we're just chilling and watching me dye. My hair right here is why I decided to dye my hair again. I'Ve done two hair dye video, since I decided to shave my head a couple months ago and on both of those videos. I had quite a few comments that were either confused or upset with me or angry about my decision to dye wig certain colors, and I have a really long explanation for where my head space is. Why I'm dyeing wigs again, why I'm dyeing hair again? But the short answer is that I just want to also my hair is not growing back as fast as I thought it was going to which means wigs are in my future for a really long time, and so I've just decided to make the leap and start Doing fun things with them, instead of just restricting myself, because I'm hoping for the best and hoping my hair comes back soon. So I can do fun things with my actual hair, but that's not happening. So I'm going to be dyeing some wigs and if you want an in-depth answer, an in-depth explanation, I can make a whole nother video, but right now is not the time for that. So let's just get back to the hair dyeing. Alright, it looks like I am done with the green and I went ahead and washed it out and we are moving on to the black section. So right now I'm taking some bobby pins and I'm sectioning out this black section of the bank and really just making sure that the green hair is slicked back. So I don't get any of the black on the green, because that is irreversible. I'M taking some ion color brilliance in jet black and I am squirting it into my bowl here and then I'm going to be taking a twenty developer and also adding that to the mixture and mixing it all together. Now that my mixture is looking something like mashed potatoes, I'm going to go ahead and apply that to my bank, starting at the roots, making sure not to get it on the green and mixing it in as much as I can. After I get all that black dye in I'm going to let this sit for about 20 minutes to make sure that it's actually jet black and has no purple or blue hues that is really solid, nice jet black and after this 20 minutes, I'm going to go Ahead and wash this out blow-dry this and I'm going to see you guys with the finished product, and this is the finished product. I really hope you guys like it. I seriously love it. I feel like it almost looks more real than my real hair did, which is very strange to say, but I think it does, if you like it, make sure you give this video a thumbs up and make sure you subscribe to my channel.
