So today we are going to be cooking up this sexy red hair. I'M going to show you how to get it without destroying your curl pattern and getting a red dye on your lace. Okay, okay, so these beautiful bundles are from beauty forever hair on Aliexpress, I left all the links you need to the hair in the description box, along with my coupon code, to save some tans. Luckily, for me and you we don't have to bleach the knots on this frontal unless you want your roots black, but I'm going to read from the root baby, I'm using L'Oreal, hi color and I will list all the colors I'm using in the description box. For you, though, this product does say you don't need to bleach it 90 % of the time if your hair is from Aliexpress you're gon na need to bleach it or it's not gon na carry the color the way you wanted to trust me. I'Ve been there done that save yourself, some tears, my love and bleach the hair, okay and make sure to protect your valuable furniture by using a trash bag. So now that my bleach is mixed up, I used a 40 developer by the way we are going to start bleaching this hair. Now I'm a village woman. Oh you guys know this. I don't have time to be bougie on camera and be using a brush when my hands work perfectly fine. This is my way of bleaching the knots and make sure to spread that bleach evenly, so no parts are lighter than the other, especially the root to make this bleaching process easier. I'Ve gone ahead and wet the hair just a little bit. So it's easier to spread the bleach that way. This is a tongue twister geez, but yeah just to make it easier, just wet the hair a little bit and then go ahead and spread that bleach. There'S no specific amount of time to leave the bleach on you kind of just want to eyeball it and see you get this honey brown color that you see here so now, it's time to wash it out, you can use a shampoo, a conditioner. Whatever floats your boat, just make sure you wash all that bleach out, so I know it's still wet, but this is the color. You want your hair to be. If you want it to be as bright as mine, if you want it to be darker, you know. Don'T bleach it as light, if you want to be lighter than bleach, it even lighter. You are in control, my friend but anywho. Moving on this is how the hair looks: wet /, towel dried to dye. The friend's whole welcome our good sis who looks like this, because she's been through all my hair covers all right. This is my struggle. Mannequin, so don't mind how it looks. I'M gon na place my frontal on there and go ahead and pinned that frontal down. So it's sturdy and it allows me to work. I have six boxes of hair dye here, two of each color red red, hot and magenta and i'ma open up a pack of each. I don't know what the makers were thinking, but these things are hard to squeeze out and I found it's just easier that, instead of squeezing it from the top, I just cut off the bottom of the container and squeeze it out that way. All the product comes straight out because I'm using three different shades and hues. I want to make sure I mix this first before adding any developer. You can use a 30 or a forty developer, I'm using 40 and then I'm using a 1/4 measuring cup, because it's one of those for every container of dye. But I go ahead and add a little extra for more products. You don't want to go overboard with the developer, because, the more you add the brighter your color is going to show. Finally, the last step and the easiest step is to apply that a red dye onto the hair with some gloves and as you can see, I'm wearing a red shirt, so it doesn't get ruined, I'm piling on the color. I don't really care how it goes on. You just need that color to get everywhere and it's permanent dye. So please be careful with this product. I like using permanent dye on a red hair, because if you use anything sunny permanent, it's gon na be dripping every time you take a shower. You know every time you get your hair wet god forbid, it rains look at how much I'm piling on, but you know you just want to make sure that red is not bleeding onto your clothes, so permanent hair dye is the way to go. I'M soaking and saturating each bundle and six boxes was more than enough. If you're using one color, you know, four boxes is good, but I'm using three colors. So I have to get one of every box yeah. That'S how it should look after you're done, lathering it in I'm, going to set my timer for 30 minutes anything longer than that you're just frying your hair. At that point and yeah, don't do that! I'Ve seen videos where people leave the color in overnight to make sure it's the right color like that's just damaging the just bleach it a little bit, so you can make sure that it's as light as you want it to be. Finally, on to our frontal, I pinned it down to my mannequin head so that the trash bag doesn't stay in the lace all right, let me put you on game just in case you don't already do this when I'm dyeing color to the route in order for It to not touch the lace bleed to the lace. All of that. The first key is not to apply too much hair dye. This hair dye is pretty thick, so it's not likely it's gon na bleed through, but regardless just don't apply too much product. It'S just easier to manage your work that way. The second tip I have is going in sections. Of course, if you watch my videos, you know this is how I die my frontals. If you really want to get better at dyeing your own hair and doing different types of roots, I'll leave a link to a video that will help, but as far as dyeing the color to the root like I am here, the key is a comb. Well, the comb is not a key, but the anyway. The best thing to do is use a comb to comb the color into the root because, as you can see, this is all the hair color all over the frontal, I'm keeping my palms away from putting pressure on the lace. All I'm doing is holding the mannequin head up and using the comb to spread it through combing it back like that, keeps the dye away from sinking into the lace. Once that's done, I turn the mannequin head around and I just go in and dye the rest of the hair. I have to admit deep wave is more challenging to color because of all those dang coils, so just make sure you are getting in there massaging it through. So you don't have any brown spots. I was able to do that in 30 minutes, so the bundles are ready to be washed. You can use shampoo, conditioner chew. I don't all that much like I just rinse it out go over it with some, maybe conditioner, so the curls can be vibrant. You know what I'm saying and yeah I just wash it until the water runs clear. I left the hair to air dry overnight and then I made it into a wig. This is all four bundles and a frontal of glorious red curls, and I am here for it now. I love this big look, but this is for Valentine's Day, so we're gon na calm it down in a second. If your hair didn't come out as red as you want it, you can go in with some adored eye. I just don't, recommend it cuz, it bleeds like crazy, but it's a quick and cheap alternative. I love that styling is so easy. All I have to do is spray it with some water and perfecto gayleen that we had a Musa. So look at that no red dye on the lace. That'S what we want period. I'M gon na bring back that volume by fingering it out while it dries, and oh my gosh, this is just gorgeous like don't mind the headband. I was just laying my edges. Yes, girl, let it down girl. Yes, I love these red curls, I'm so glad. I did this without spoiling the curl pattern without getting red on the lace. We learned a lot today or whatever don't forget, to give this video a thumbs up before you go. I will really really really really appreciate it.
