Hey guys welcome back to my channel, so if you want to see how i created this color on my kinky curly wig keep watching this wig is from a company called nia wigs. This is how i received my package in this box and i'm just showing you what you get in the package you're going to get a pack of wig caps. I got a satin baggie to store the wig and then i also got a detangling brush and then just some cards with some information on how to care for the wig. This is how your wig will come. It'S in a natural like 1b color, and this is how it looks so you won't really be able to just take it right out of the box and pop it on your head and go. You will need to co-wash it or shampoo it and let it dry for you to get the really nice kinky curly texture. This is what the top of it looks like. This is what the interior looks like you get three three combs on the top one comb in the back and then adjustable straps. This is how i section the hair off before i go into coloring it. You will need 40 volume, developer 30 volume developer. Some bleach powder and some purple shampoo - these are the ones i'm using. You could definitely use an alternative. So now i'm going to go into bleaching the hair, i'm starting with the 30 volume developer and i'm going to start in one of the middle sections. As you can see, the hair is sectioned off into four sections: the bang, the back and then the middle, which i separated into like a left and right side. So i'm starting with one of the middle sections and i'm just taking that 30 volume developer and applying it from the ends up to the roots. But i'm not going all the way to the root. I'M going to leave some of the dark color at the top, and i'm just using my hands. You could definitely use a brush if you want to be more precise and have it look more like perfect. I just went in with my hands and make sure you're wearing gloves, if you, if you do this, whether or not you're going in with your hands, you definitely want to use gloves, because this bleach does burn i'm taking a wide tooth comb and combing from the Ends up to the roots, just to make sure that the bleach is getting through to all of the strands. I'M adding more of the 30 volume developer all over the hair, just making sure that it is getting onto every strand which can be tricky because the hair is so thick and so kinky that you can miss some spots. So just take your time with this step. Now i'm just pulling out little pieces, and these are the pieces that i want to apply the 40 volume developer mix. To just to give me some highlights in some areas. So i'm just randomly going through the section and picking out some small pieces. Then i'm taking my hand with the 40 volume developer to apply them. Like i said, i'm not doing this very neatly or professionally i'm not a professional. I don't i'm not trained in how to do color. So i'm literally just doing this just the best that i can, but you know you could use foil if you have, if you know how to use it and all of that, but i'm just taking it with my hands, applying the 40 volume developer to those small Sections just to give me a bit of a highlight, i did the exact same thing to the opposite side of the middle section, and now i'm going in to the front bang area and i'm again applying the 30 volume developer. Then combing it out with my wide tooth comb to make sure that it's evenly distributed and then i'm going to go in and take out my small sections for my 40 volume developer highlighted sections. I let the bleach process for 25 to 30 minutes only and then i rinse it out. I'M just taking a dry paper towel to wipe off the roots, make sure there's no bleach, and this is what the wig looked like after i rinsed out the bleach. I, like the level that it lifted to, but i don't like the orangey brassiness, so i decided to go in with some toner and this was literally an experiment. I took some t14 well a toner 20 volume developer in the zero five zero additive, which is like a violet, and i mix it all together and i'm literally just gon na put this all over the wig. Now note i used one so like one box of the t14, i definitely needed two because i didn't really have enough for the whole head. I mean i made it work. I stretched it as much as i could all like. My babies eating lunch back there but um. If you're gon na try. This definitely get two boxes of the t14 um. It still came out great, but i would have preferred to have two boxes of the t14 and then for the additive. I only used two bottle caps of the additive so to clarify. In my toning mixture, i had one bottle of the t14 two parts of the 20 volume developer and then two bottle caps of the zero five zero additive. So i apply this toner all over the wig making sure to get it, especially on the areas that are orange, and you can see it already kind of toning down just by me applying it, but even before it's been processed now i'm going to go in and Deep condition the wig - this is very important. We just bleach the hair tone, the hair, so we've stripped the hair of a lot of its moisture. So we need to put that moisture back into the wig, so i'm using the argan oil moisturizing um conditioner and i'm making sure that i get this on literally every single strand on the wig. So take your time with this step and then i'm just going to twist the hair up to make sure the ends are secured and then i'm going to put the wig in a ziploc bag. And i let it sit for four hours. So i really spent a long time letting it deep condition if you can let it sit overnight. It'Ll only be softer okay, guys, so the wig dried overnight - and this is what it came out like. I think the color came out really really cute. I loved how those different tones in it - it's not all one color um. You will need to spend some time judging it and getting it to how you like it. You'Re gon na want to cut some of the you know. You want to cut it to frame your face, um yeah, and that is literally it i'm going to show you how i left my edges out in case. You want to do that, so you can pin it back and do different styles with it. I didn't film it, but i actually ended up sewing this wig on um, because i didn't apply the clips. I mean you could apply the clips it'll stay secure, but i rather just sew it on i'm, just showing you guys how i left my edges out. So if you want to pull the sides back, you definitely can, but that is the end of the video guys. I hope you found this video helpful. I hope it was detailed enough. If you have any questions. Aries Phoenix: Wow I thought this wig came this way since they have a highlight scalp top curly wig on their site with your picture on it. Now I’m worried about buying their highlight wig because it might not be as beautiful as what you did to your wig. Great review btw ❤️❤️❤️

belle taunde: Came for the tutorial, stayed for the mature baby with good table manners lol

Tarji V: Came out great. Love the highlights.

Sabrina Amory: I love how this color came out, cuz! I had to go back and rewatch because I tuned you out and was sending hugs and kisses to the baby when he came into the frame ❤️

Ann M.: very lovely!

jus4toni: How do you maintain the kinky curls when bleaching? I tried this and lost the tight hair texture.

Petra Brown: Hey! What are the proportions you used? I’m lost. bleach powder and 30 vs 40 developer. And then do you let the toner sit overnight with the argon conditioner? Or do you remover the toner first. Thanks!

Antoinette_youtube-.-: Beautiful
