How To Revive Old Kinky Curly Bundles/Wig

Oh, the lack of one welcome to my channel. My name is Cheryl and welcome back to another video. So in today's video I'm going to be showing you how I maintain also how I can upgrade this wig of mine. So my main therese of hair is kinky. Curly hair extensions - I love them to pieces. They really do match my own natural hair texture, which is why I love them so much. I have a new background. This wall, on the back of me, used to have wallpaper and a mirror there, but I decided to put some pictures and make it all nice for you guys. The old setup has not gone. It is on the left of me still so I'll be using both simultaneously, but I thought I would switch it up, so you guys are not seeing the same thing all the time. So I hope you like this out anyways guys, let's get on with the video. So, as I said before, my preferred type of hair extensions is kinky, curly extensions, I'm not sure where I've got these bundles from, but I know that this is a dear I wearing wig that I made myself. If I do remember where I actually got this hair from, I will leave the link down in description box below so right now the hairs already washed and clean. I did go ahead and attach it to my braids, because I feel like it's a lot easier to work with it when it's on my head, so I'm gon na go ahead and take this down I'll show you what the wig actually looks like, because we are Going to be transforming this today, so guys, as you can see, this is my hair at the front. I'M gon na go ahead and break up soon, but there's a lot of knots, tangles literally after I washed it. I didn't do any detangling and I just washed it that was it so, as you could see, this is what the parting looks like. First of all, I'm going to start with grab Clips, and I use these ones right here and I'm going to use them to keep my hair out of the way. While I work on my leave out as first and what I do is I just clip wink back like this, so I can work on my leave out here now that my leave art is exposed, I'm going to go ahead and use a spray bottle to wet. My hair a little bit and do to shun twists, keep it out of the way so now that my leave out is all out the way and going to go ahead and start on the wig. So I'm go ahead and take these clips out and then section of wig in manageable sections, depending on how messed up the hair is and of course, if you're doing this on bundles, you can skip this step entirely, but I think I'm going to go for four Sections this is what my hair looks like at the moment. I know it looks very silly, but I'm going to go and start the tangling now and my trick to detangling kinky curly extensions. Is this brush right here? It is an absolute lifesaver, whether you're doing your own natural hair or, if you are doing a wig or kinky, can't be hair like this now. The reason why I love this brush so much is because it has really long spikes, but they are also quite soft. As well, by the way, this is a tangle teezer and one of the main reasons why I picked this up because it has a handle most huggable teasers do not have a handle. Now I'm going to start on this section first, and what I'm going to do is spray it with water to get it nice and moist and easy to detangle. This is what the hair looks like when it's wet I like to go in into it's almost drenched like it's really dripping. That makes it a lot easier to detangle. Next, I just go in with the tangle, teezer brush and try and get each and every single knot out there. This is what the section looks like after I've just done a de-tangled. As you can see, there is a big difference from how it looked like before to how it looks like now. So, if you're, so, if your extensions - I'm not that bad, you could just go in and just a tangle it with water and, as you can see, there's a huge difference. So I want to go ahead and do the rest of my hair and then I'll move on to the next step, hey guys. So this is what the hair is looking like, after last, you can see give them the hair a really good detangle session. Can we just improve the way the hair looks, but now I'm going to go in with my magic trick and that is to use hair mayonnaise? I don't know how I found out this stuff works. I just tried it one day on my wig on whim and it worked amazingly, it made the hair fall really soft. All I do is open up the tub dip. My fingers in and I like to just smother it all over the hair, but I mainly like to do it to the end, because if this stuff gets to the root where the tracks are, it is kind of hard to wash out the hair is smuggled in The mayonnaise I'm gon na go ahead and do another detangle just to make sure all the knots out and again I start from the bottom and work my way up. Okay, now I finished another level of detangling. I'M gon na go ahead, sit for about ten minutes before I wash it off. Now that I finished washing out the hair mayonnaise. As you can see, it makes the hair look a lot more shiny, and I kid you not guys it makes a hair full super, soft and lightweight. I made sure that I rinsed out all the product thoroughly because I don't want any left and, as you can see, my hands go straight through. There is no tangles to moisturize the hair. I'M gon na go in with a little bit of aloe vera oil, and this is the one that I use here and I like to get a good amount on my hand, rub it in and just smooth it through there like this, to give it extra moisture And shine now to hold the curl. I don't really like using hair gel because it can dry out it can flake and it's not the best. But what I found out that really works. It keeps the hair moisturize and it holds the car, is by cream of nature and it is their break up of breakage leave conditioner. You may remember this from other videos, because, honestly it works so well, and there is not a lot left of this product. I'Ve used it till it's almost empty, so I'm gon na go ahead and just take off this bit because it has a spray ball at the top and I've got to empty it directly into my hands. I feel like it's slightly easier that way. Anyway, then, again, I'm going to smooth it through my hands and I'm gon na start with this side. So I'm gon na apply it all over the hair. Quite generously and again, I'm going to use my tangle teezer brush that has a handle and I'm gon na start from the bottom and work my way up to the top like this, and while I'm doing this, I'm turning the brush slightly to create codes. Look at how beautiful and juicy those cows look now, let's compare sides. So this is what the side, without the break-up with breakage, looks like and the side width. So, as you can see, it gives us so much definition and shine. I want to go ahead and do this side now that both sides are done, I'm going to use a blow dryer with a diffuser attachment to go ahead and dry. These defined curls! Well, if you do not have time to use a hairdryer, you could just leave it like this honestly and let it dry by itself. It will still look gorgeous, but I don't have the time today. So I'm definitely going to use a broad round. Oh
