Gracie Rose Miller: I'm not a fan of MM but reading these comments I thought I would clear up a few things being biracial myself. When you are biracial and you can pass as white as I do then you identify as white but if you are darker like my sister you will identify as black. If you are lucky like Meghan you can identify as either. Identifying as one or the other isn't easy because you feel like your betraying one side for the other that feeling comes from some people in the black community. I look white I don't have the same struggles as my sister and there are lots of inspiring women for her in the black community. People should be allowed to identify as they like look as they want and not be shamed for it. Meghan identifies as white when it's convenient and black when it fits a narrative and that is unfair to all biracial women as well as black women. Especially now that she is high profile so I hope that she can learn to embrace both sides of herself. She would be a great spokesperson in uniting white and black communities which we really need.

No way her hair was that long naturally when pictures taken just prior to that pic showed much shorter hair. Hair grows about 1/2” or so a month. Still, fake hair, natural hair, extensions, hidden hair whatever, her hair always looks nice. I dare her to wear it natural a few times, it looks beautiful. I have a friend with tight curls like m’s, and she wears hers natural off and on. She’s Caucasian.

She certainly did in her childhood pictures so I’ve always thought it was lace wigs and extensions she wore, nothing wrong with that we all like to change our look with perms and dye etc but don’t pretend any of that hair is real or down to keratin treatments, that’s just misleading people. It’s probably really short under the wig cap and the extensions can be clearly seen in the early “messy bun” styles she just scrunched up herself.

Janet Lee: Keratin is not the same as a relaxer. She uses keratin which is different. Relaxers change the bonds of your hair permanently while keratin fades away after months and you are back to natural. Relaxer has to grow out or cut off the parts that are chemically altered. She is entitled to use any product in her hair. Has nothing to do with her views on race or anything else. Lots of women use keratin or relaxers-black, mixed or white. What counts is her character....which is questionable!!!

It's like I would complain that white ppl are not represented enough everywhere in Central Africa or in an Asian country. If I am the minority in a country I have to accept that there are not EVERYWHERE ppl that look like me and just shut up! And I was born and raised in Central Asia. E H: Funny how she now boasts her biracial heritage (her wedding ceremony to Harry) but as she began her career in acting she claimed she was Caucasian/white. As for her hair, if she is so proud to now be known as black now, why doesn’t she leave her hair to be naturally curly. Nicole Kidman had the same very curly hair but ginger. When she started to make it big in Hollywood/married Tom Cruise, she started straightening her hair. She said in a recent interview she wishes she hadn’t now as even when she leaves her hair to dry naturally, she’s lost all her lovely curls. All the straightening has ruined it she went on to say.
