Nappy- A beautifully coiled, chemical free, real, unaltered, and versatile

Synonyms: Kinky, natural

Welcome to libido Elsa, I'm your host pinky and this mess you're looking at is a few months of growth, since I've had my last bleaching section so stay tuned. If you would like to see these results, don't forget to Like comment and subscribe. Let'S get to it. Bonad on burn it off the night. Before I bleach my hair, I always took braids out where I moisturize my hair and it stretches my roots out. So that's the most important part. Obviously I need a touch-up. I waited a longer time than usual to touch my roots up. So it's really about time - and Here I am showing you how it looks when I unbraid those braids at this point, I'm dividing my hair into four sections, because whether you're bleaching, your hair or really, whatever style, you're doing with natural hair, it's easier to do it In sections now I'm going to take this raw parachute, coconut oil and I'm going to basically oil up my edges to protect them and also when you're bleaching, our own hair, it kind of gets everywhere. So you want to protect your skin as well after you prep your hair, you're gon na make sure bleach. You'Re gon na need a lightening powder. I use blue flesh and also a developer. I use Clairol. This is the 20 developer and you're gon na need a plastic ball and brush, and I use a measuring cup and you're definitely gon na need gloves, because you don't want it to get on your hands next you're going to need a one-to-one ratio of lightening powder And developer here, I'm basically pouring in 8 ounces of blue flash and then I'm going to pour in 8 ounces of 20 developer and I'm pouring it in twice because my measuring cup only measures up to 4 ounces. So that's why I'm pouring 2 in but anyway, after that, you mix everything up and make sure it's a complete mixture, and you have no powder left over. You just want to make sure you mix everything evenly, and this is what it will look like when you're done so next you're going to take down one section of your hair and you're going to apply the mixture to your roots. Only Here I am being messy and that's why I applied oil to around my edges because look what happened but y'all, I'm always so clumsy. When I start back doing, this is when it's been a while, like I forget, and my coordination be all off, especially since I'm using a mirror and it's like backwards so yeah. But you just want to make sure you apply it to your roots, roots, meaning the unbleached hair. Obviously you don't want to get too much on the hair. That'S already bleached, that's not good, and the reason why I'm using this mirror is because I don't want to miss any spots. I don't want to have to go back and touch up anything, and so at this point I'm dividing my hair and bleaching. Basically, each side of the part, if that makes sense and rubbing it together, just to make sure it's like all getting a good coat of bleach, and so once I'm all finished with this section, I'm gon na take my little clip and basically just clip it together And you know let it sit there and do its work while I'm working on the other sections, and so I'm basically gon na - do that for every single section of my hair. I try not to let this process take more than 15 20 minutes, because I don't want it to over process. My hair, I'm not gon na lie sometimes I'll, be moving so fast that I'd be messing up, so you don't want to do that either. You want to do a decent job and a thorough job, so you want to move kind of fast, but not so fast that you're not doing a good job. Here'S how it looks when I'm done as you can see it's starting to turn already in the front. It'S been turning in the back after I wait for 20 minutes. This is the outcome and I'm not mad at it, but I just wish I would have applied the bleach front to back that way. The top of my hair will be lighter than the back, but it's all good, I don't mind. It came out really good and now it's toner time I'm going to be using well a color charm in the color 211. You use two parts developer, one part toner, and so I'm going to pour both bottles of this toner into this measuring cup, pour it in the bowl and basically pour that same amount of developer into the bowl twice. If that makes them now you're gon na mix. The two up - and it is very strong, guys make sure you're not in a very tight and closed space, because you will pass out from these fumes are strong, but best way is gon na look and the more it sits there. The more purple is gon na. Look you're gon na take that mixture and apply it to your hair. I applied to my hair from the roots to the tip, because I want my hair to all be evenly the same color. I was looking to lighten my hair up a little bit anyway. This is a more ash blonde color, so it's gon na make it look a little bit lighter as well as knock out some of that orange yellowish color, and here you can see the longer it sits, the more it turns purple, which is good for ash blonde. Here are the results, and this is exactly what I was looking for. It knocked out the yellow orange II. Look it had before and it's more of a ash blonde color like I want it to me. It'S perfect when my hair blends right in with my skin tone from the roots. I guess I'm going for the whole Simpsons look the yellow. So next I'm going to be using the Durham, organic intensive, hair repair mask and you want to make sure you apply. This mask from root to tip I'm sectioning, my hair off and applying it just to make sure it gets in there really good. This has been truly the best mask I've ever used after bleaching, my hair, my hair, never felt so soft and luscious afterwards, except for when I use this mask like it's literally, the best y'all have a link down below you can order from Amazon it's a little Expensive but it's totally worth the price, because, basically I only use it for when I'm bleaching, my hair, I've used other products and none compared to this one. So definitely two thumbs up and here's my hair once I rinsed it out, and I wish I could let y'all feel it. It'S so soft and it smells so good. So I just did a simple twist out and this is how it looks so yeah guys. This was just another successful bleaching process. I'M gon na do a link check right now, so I feel, like my hair, is good almost getting to boob link like it's right above boob link. Honestly, it's just grown so much since my link check a year and a half ago. One thing I do make sure to do is I keep my hands clipped like I try to do that three times a year. So, like every four months I like to keep my ants clips and I just do individual twists and I just clip those ends. Some questions. People normally ask me is just how does my hair feel or you know, does this require a lot of maintenance? I'M just gon na speak for myself, because obviously different people have different hair textures that react differently to bleach and different things like that. My hair personally does not have a negative reaction. Yeah I have to do a deep, intensifying mask after I bleach it, but after that, it's all good. The curl pattern is still the same. It'S just as soft. I guess my hair can withstand all the chemicals, and you know that process of me bleaching, my hair. I do it all the time I've been doing it for two years now. You know I've had a couple of bad experiences, but that's just because I didn't know what products to use for my hair, and now that I do my hair is like perfectly fine. I wouldn't continue to bleach my hair if I felt like it was damaging my hair, and I know a lot of people out there say bleach is not healthy, you know, maybe is it, but just because you had one bad experience doesn't mean you go around telling People, Oh, which is not good or bleach, is gon na take care of hair cuz it I mean that it's never happened to me. I didn't mean to go on a rant just now, but I hate when people come at me like that like. Why are you been clicking on a video about bleaching if you don't agree with it? So let me know what you think about this color down below and I hope you enjoyed this video and I'll see you in my next one peace.

Chelsea Stewart: Great video!!! You are so right! I swear people always say "Oh your blonde hair must be damaged" and I'm like really girl. People need to worry about their own hair.

Charity Drakeford: I do the same thing now. And i also hate when people tell me "you gone mess yo hair up doin all that bleach..." NOOOO im not! I know what im doooooingah!

cdtinhi: We who bleach our hair have to accept that we are damaging our hair. It's our choice. We'll try to take care of it the best way we can after the damage, but yeah, melting out all the pigment is going to damage anyone's hair. ‍♀️

katt K: im jealous with how much your hair lifted, i have naturally dark hair and though i do go lighter closer to a platinum - i feel like it doesnt lighten this easily!!

9 9: Thank you for giving it straight and to the point, but with the needed details.

Natasha Sweeney: I’ve subscribed to your channel! I loved the tutorial. I’ve made a few mistakes, in the past, and at one point had to cut all my hair off and start over again! Thankfully, my hair grew back stronger and fast, so it wasn’t too bad of an experience. I’m now growing my hair, as I bleach it. Thus, I appreciate all the tips and advise you have shared. Additionally, like you, I too get lots of negativity regarding bleaching my hair. Nevertheless, I believe, as long as I give my hair, weekly conditioning treatments, keep it moisturized, and tie it down at night, with a head scarf it will be fine. Thanks again for your time. God Bless you!

Cindy Who: Wow! Your hair lifted so well. Great job.

sweetvoic3s: This is perfect! The salon wanted to charge me so much to redo my roots. Thank you!

Ebony White: I keep seeing much better lifting with 20 and 30 developers vs 40. Great job!

Candyapplemomo: Great demonstration love the look. Every time you make a new one the quality and editing gets even better. I so agree with the rant if you don’t like something don’t watch it simple.

Penny Bankz: That color looks really good on you!

Your favorite Animal: This amazing bleaching job is what made me subscribe. It compliments your skin soooo much omg . Now I want to bleach mine dear god! Persuading me even more lol.

Anita Thompson: Very beautiful hun! Thank you for sharing. You hair looks healthy.

Elle C.: I'm loving this!! I just got the same toner and was worried but now I'm so relieved!! I swear I wanna smell and feel your hair.

Eryka No Badu: *ADVICE NEEDED * Hopefully you see this, but I got my hair bleached in like April 2019 and I have a inch or two of new growth now and I wanna touch up my roots myself. The only part about it that I'm hesitant on is what if I bleach my roots and they're lighter than the already bleached hair (the tips)? How can I do it so that they are an equal lightness? Edit: I just reached the toner part of the video so I see what you did to reach a even color but do you have any advice still?

Tenasia Duffy: how much bleach and developer should I use for my whole head ? also what do you wash your hair out with after the bleaching process

Shauna Rose: I love the "mess" though The after effect is lovely as well

Theo Custard: Omgggg thank you so much, you made this seems so much less daunting!

Maraa Mulan: I’m doing this tomorrow I hope it comes out like this ❤️

Vaness _: Quick question! So I bleached my hair awhile ago and it’s not faded to a kinda cute blondeish brown color. But my roots grew out and now it looks CRAZZZZY However I want to dye my whole head purple. So after I touch up my roots do you think it would be ok to mix bleach with conditioner and put it on the rest of my hair so it lightens and takes the purple?

Doreen Mcknight: My hair is bleached and really breaking off and your video was very informative thank you I’m going to try some of these products and hope it’ll help repair my damaged hair…thank you and your hair is beautiful

Devette Morris: Girl llllllooovvvveee I can't believe I misses this video.in love with your hair♡♡♡am thinking about bleaching my hat and am watching ur channel as a guide. love your videos♡♡

Amy Nelson: It came out so gooood!

Helena Neto: Excelente descoloracao vai ficar bonita ❤

Rhonda Denis: Your texture tho after bleaching is gorgeous

Maelynn Santiago: I love your blonde color!!! Hi have you used the T18 toner before and if you have do you prefer the T11 over the 18? Thanks

Browneyemixedbeauty: Do you rinse the bleach out, when you touch up your roots?. I just bleached my hair, hot pink rose. last week.

J'Amores World: Your adorable and beautiful. Keep going queen

vivopuro: You got so much lift from a 20vol. My hair is low porosity. I might get that light with a 30vol in 2 sessions.

Gogo Gaga: Its really satisfying when it goes blonde!

Sanaturale: LOVE THIS!!

Myisha: I actually preferred the dark roots look. Beautiful hair though!

Maria _: That’s how much regrowth I have! Nervous since it’s my first time and I have platinum curls rn

Armanda DeVeiga Monteiro: So I have a question I basically have the color you had in before the ash blonde like a honey blonde so once I bleach my roots what type of developer will I use for honey blonde

LiveLife16: Please tell me what products you use on your hair. We have a very similar texture.

Kristen W.: Use a direct dye next time hun. Not a color after a lightner. Direct dyes mean no ammonia or developer added Its way safer on the hair and keeps it from drying out so much after a lightening service.

J Alexander: Bleaching and natural hair should not be said in the same breath.
