Hi you guys it's me Mandy and I start my videos off that way. Every time you commit my trademark, hey guys, um anyways, you else. Oh no John Chompy Chompy here the chair in torture, you guys, but it's in kind of crazy dude. You can do both were sitting here having a little consultation yeah. It'S been that long that I'm having a complication with her hair she's about a natural level 5 and has a little truck more of a fixed level. So we've been doing a shadow root, shadow rebuilding her shadow root and then sometimes we'll go and break up. The shadow and add a highlight and kind of break that up, but now we're to the point where I want to change Parker, so Chauncey is getting a surprise today, I'm doing whatever I want to her and I'm doing the techniques I want, I'm changing it completely And I told her I shall listen you're doing something different and we're making a half inch that cool. Let'S do it and I am taking her blonde to the roots. That'S what I'm doing I'm gon na get right. You guys I'm going to show you what I'm be using the colors, the formulation, so I'm kind of excited you guys, because I'm doing a new technique on her and I'm going to see if this is what I'm gon na be doing for now on. On my blonde, so she's kind of a little tiny bit of a guinea pig, but it will turn out beautiful. I just got my eyelashes done like Hello. Every time we film, I had six Chauncey, my lashes had to be amazing, and so she makes it happen. Every time, every time yes so go, follow her on Instagram, your Belleza I'll link it below because she's an incredible eyelash artist and trainer, and she travels to train how to teach you how to do these because Euler back here by the color bar - and I am So excited lately, I have been using this Lightner called magic, and let me tell you it's a perfect title for this. Lightner know this stuff is mad. I am loving. It super strong super strength, formula, yeah, ammonia, free powder, eyeliner, there's a dose of nature inside this. I'M all about natural and organic, I'm all about really girded, nothing Leitner's natural, organic. I love that they add these things. I don't know argan oil. We have a ultramarine deep, blue color pigment. Well, that's made by grinding lapis lazuli into a powder and so pretty much. There'S a really healthy pigment that gets added into the lightener. Then we have a lavender oil UI, this product smelled. Like your joy, it smells like lavender and I love the smell of it and another saying you guys this lists so well and lifts up to 10 levels. This is like as incredible, and especially when you know it's a good light nur. I love that a blue base to counteract orange from for more of a natural looking blonde. I'M just running up to you guys what easy to mix grape or foil highlights great for balayage highlights can be used either on or off. The scalp contains no sodium hydroxide contains no formal, loom, it paraben free, it's vegan, never use or tested on animals. Eco-Friendly and packaging works like magic. So there's so many great benefits of this Lightner and I actually love it and I have a discount code for you guys so in the description below you're going to have a discount code that has ma MSH, you can go to their website order this, because it's There'S the icing right now, some of my favorite and you can actually use any peroxide. I'Ve been just using the red, can Pro oxide um developers, so I'm going to go ahead and mix up to skip some magic liner with 30 volume, a pro oxide and we're going to use one 16 ounce of Olaf us another trick that I like to do Is when I add in the lightener I like to take the a little um content like the little applicator bottle that, like little container, that it comes with I'll, add the developer in it, because it's a really perfect amount of developer and lightener she's. My lover she's. My assistant, she does everything for me with me and I like to put on 16 seconds and I would have mix it just like a little mixture in your kitchen, you're mixing in the liner. I want you guys to see how blue this is. I love how blue this is. This is going to tone off the orange as the process goes on now. Take my one, sixteenth ounce of olaplex and go in and add that in what I like to do is, I will add in after I mix this. I put in a different Bowl because this bowl is too deep for me to mess with, and it really does make a big difference when you have a good bowl and then what I'm going to do is I'm going to add in my rejuven a coil, because This is what I do to every single client hair. Oh actually, is that I'm completely out of this one won't stalk out. This is how much I love this cut. You guys like it says this isn't of a new pan, what everything's great and dandy. So I'm going to go in here and add in one two or three drops into this product, so I keep the health of the hair the entire time, even with oil cut. This will be able to give the hair a perfect shine as I'm coloring. So it's imperfect and I will link, is also below in the description. I show you guys really quick the consistency of what I'm going to be using it's going to be thick enough, where it's not gon na drop off, but it's a little bit more runny er than a clay Lightner. So this is a perfect consistency. The way I want to work her new technique on how I'm doing her hair today - and I don't want it too thick, but I don't want to runny so a perfect consistency is two scoops of whitener with to one and a half scoop of developer. So I want you to see with her hair being pulled down like this. Okay, you like this and that's really what you want to do at. First, with your clients, you guys you want to move your hair hair around see where her hair part, so she has a pretty good part that goes deep right here and then she has this calli. Then she has this cowlick. So what we're going to do is we're going to section her out. Here is a section we have. It pointed in the back, we're doing a triangle pretty much. I want to color cover the kalloch that point like that pops out right here. So it's really nice to be able to do in a section where it's going to cover each side of the hair they're here on the top and her hair is where this is Cali fit to have the kalloch right here. It'S very important to place the color where the hair splits, so I like to take this and I'll take this section like this run my fingers through it and then I'll. Let it go and I'll see where it goes. It is like okay, cool. So that's how the hair is going to follow the wind. That'S where it's going to go! So I'm going to customize this color, where her hair falls so nothing's more annoying, seeing someone's color and it's like why you got dark right there and why I just want everywhere else. So, yes, I'm going to take this section and I'm going to have to go with me on this side, and this section goes with me on this side and I'm going to leave it out. I like to do like this a medium weave, because I'm trying to keep dimension inner ear, so this extra hair that snowfall will just fall right on top of that wrap. Taking my comb, placing my whitener on each side of the comb all the way down to the base of the comb, let us start feathering in I'm pressing really lightly. Just so I can place it out and what's nice about doing a comb, you guys is, if you go in here and brush it through and have it go onto the underside like that, it's going to seep through so you can do a couple different ways. You can do this, you can kind of go back and forth those saturates to the underside. You can go up and down like this, you can take it and go up and down like this there's a lot of different ways. You can do it with this. You can take your comb and blend it out. Just like this, and rather like a little Christmas present. Phenom obsession is not falling onto this side. We want to make sure you go to flow the hair, always always, I will say to you bye. That is probably the very best trick to know and if you're going through and placing color foxy like this, it's a square. If you go onto diagonals and kind of place, hair where they need to go. Where fall, that's really in a foreign step to take. I like to do very small sections, because I'm tedious, like that and with chompy's hair, it's fine, but she has a lot of it, so it will blow in the wind and you're going to be able to see all the small little areas. So I like to make sure I just use small section and you don't you guys, what's really fun about doing hair is switching your technique. If you're getting bored something's come out of the way to figure something else out, you don't always have to go back and do the same things you're doing all the time. So it's fun to change it up, and I was to a point where I was ready to change up my technique a little bit with my blondie. So I think this might be the way to go because it's fun, I'm having a good time doing it like an artist, and I find just to create something like this and wear gloves. I suggest for love, I'm going to take my firm, our wrap. I just had it tough like this. I have I'm opening like this. I'M tucking it in close to the hair, letting it fall. You have all this additional wrap right here and you're, just letting it fall just like that perfect and I'm weaving out this section going to do as a medium weave as well. And this part is where you're going to get the dimension in the hair, which is going to be beautiful and it's kind of nice, because you can take that excess of excess light in right there and you just kind of spread that back and forth very softly. So spike you're doing kind of slightly cheesy back and forth on some sections and then taking your backcomb, your little rat tail comb and smoothing it taking it. Letting the hair stop like pretty much a blade on the home and bring it out just like this and then bring it back and let it go back. It'S like taking your raps and going back and just doing the same repetitive thing, and if you feel the need to go in and add a little more go right ahead with your brush from our brushes. You guys, oh my gosh. They are the way to go. Nothing is better going in and doing an amazing application when you're using the right brushes if you're using a brush a hard bristle, and it's not easy flowing with your with your body, move in the way you're moving. It'S really difficult to work with. So I suggest from our brushes all the way. Oh my gosh, I thought that was so work. I thought my dad is somebody okay. Now I'm going to cover that and I'm gon na move on it's pretty thick, because this is see my light nerves about the same consistency as it would be on being clay liner. Okay, now go in here and pretty much comb through these highlights and I'm leaving out a small small section around right here to give this lighter room to swell and I'm going to go through the underside just like this, then I'm going to kind of bring it Up a little bit and work my way in just like this, go to the other side and do the same thing. So you see all that liner that seeps through. That'S an awesome sign. You like to see that so then I'm going to go through here and smoothing it out this way, then I'm going to lightly let this hair to sit on top of this comb and I'm going to smoothen it out and kind of let it spread a little Bit further down and I'm going to take it up the other way and do the same thing from our saran wrap, but have my client keep Chauncey helping me then you're going to put it aside and I'm going to bring it over and the same thing. The side and bring it over so that's like seriously my favorite way, because now I get to see all this hair processing and this is the magic Winer you guys she's getting so blonde, and it's going to be so pretty so excited you you all life is All processing, it's looking really good, you guys self. This is my favorite way of doing this. I can see what's happening. I can see that it's lifting. I can see that it's going through the yellow stage. I can see it's going to be needing more pop of pink. The rat feels a little warm just like it would with foil, but um yeah. This is definitely my new favorite way of doing it. Check it out. Look, how light is skidding? It'S so pretty it's so beautiful, and I want you guys to see like this magic Lightner stays blue the entire time as its processing, so it's pretty much toning itself out as its processing, which is amazing. So most the time I love. I would rather not tone my client if it's already looking like that. So, oh we are finished with Shanthi hair um. How fast are you so obsessed yeah? I know because I I want to say after probably I let's say a year and a half of doing each other's services, her hair of my lashes. I think this is my favorite hair on Chauncy today, like I kind of think I'm way in love with the technique, the colors, the formulation, everything we use today, so you guys, you all saw that I use the magic light nur. Oh, I can't believe it. I have found a new liner that I absolutely I'm in love with, like the company, is not paying me to say this to you guys, I'm just letting you guys know that this is the best light nur that I think I had used lists up to ten Shades, I use twenty and thirty volume and shifted the developpers between the behind in the top, and then I did use one sixteenth ounce of olaplex and you guys it lifted so amazing. I didn't even have to tone her hair at the end. I did anyway because I will never. It feels weird to not tone your clients awesome, invention, amazing idea, I absolutely love using this saran wrap. I think I will now be using saran wrap on all of my clients. When I do my blondie, the natural heat that comes off of your head is going to totally heat up the saran wrap and it did amazing. It makes a world of a difference when you have the very best brushes so for a Mar. Has these little small detail brushes that you can get right in front of like areas that you need? They have this nice pink one and purple, and they have like the cutest colors ever from our international comm. Go check them out magic, lighten your calm, go check them out, olaplex comm check them out, manis new salon check it out, um, and - and I just want you guys to know that the things that I'm showing you are making a world of a difference as an Artist to make your job goal by better, smoother and easier, I did not realize how important it is to have a good brush when you're doing a good color, because it really does kind of just glide and like these bristles are amazing. Oh my gosh anyways, like I love we added her extensions in so I just want you guys to see, and we just do it for more, like volume, it's the same exact length as her hair, but we just do it for volume, and these are the bombshell Extensions and we love them, so you guys, I want you guys to see up closely look how beautiful the variations of colors are. I left our natural, which is like this low light. Color you see so when her grows out, it's not going to be like line. So I just I love how it turned out. I love the colors. I love the tones. I love everything I did compared to a foil. I feel like it's quiet. First of all, it's light kind of more fluffy and squishy, so it kind of makes it feel a little bit more comfortable. Um, it's not nearly as heavy and the surrender kind of molds around your head instead of like the foil to syke, is a little bit stiffer yeah. One other thing that I really liked is being able to watch how my hair processes, so I got to see all the different colors that my hair was going through, along with the the magic Lightner um thing blew the whole time, which is cool. I kind of felt like yeah lectricity, all my headers yeah. It was so cool like the technique is freaking awesome, so I like that she enjoyed it as it was processing. She could see the colors coming through, and that was also amazing to see, as well as the artist like you're not pulling up like opening your foil, pulling it out. Looking at it and you're like crap. Now I decided back in because it just slipped. This is like a special cool way doing it, because you can see the whole thing that when it's happening right in front of your eyes, so it's awesome. Thank you so much for supporting my youtube channel like every single day I wake up, and I look at my. I look at it and it's just like how like how is this here like how do I have my own salon here? How do I have like my best friend working with me at this salon, like all these amazing things that have come to my life are because I give huge credit to you guys, so, thank you so much. Whitney: Hi Mandy! I just wanted to say thank you for uploading these videos and all the time you put into them. I've had a lot of trouble finding someone to do my hair and get the result I want... since I have a really bad case of Trichotillomania.☹ After my Dad unexpectedly passed, it got so bad I decided to shave my head. Now I'm in the process of regrowth and learning how to lighten my hair to the level I prefer without damage.... and without the brass. I really love your techniques and super appreciate your honesty. In the process of buying all products you used... including the brushes. (I'm a cosmetic artist... I totally get using the correct tools even bowls!) ...So yeah, I can't express my gratitude to you for making it a bit easier for me. Sincerest thanks Mandie. *Let me know if you're ever touring in West Palm Beach, Fla!!! Love you to do my hair or go to any education you offer!

Sam Schaap: MANDIEEEEE! You look so beautiful. Your hair color is ON POINT! I would loooove to try this technique, but I guess I would still have to use foils because i do love the cling wrap technique, but I'd need an assistant to help me do that like you did lol. I know this is your girl, so asking her to help is no biggie since you did eachothers services, but how do you feel about asking clients to assist you in that or holding foils, ect? Also, just bought a tub of that MAGIC, can't wait to try it! And the brushes. Thanks for the help girl!

Kristin Bazaar: Love this technique!!!!! I can't wait to try it!!!! Mandi you are AWESOME!!!

Fernando Alvarez: OMG! I seriously love you Mandie! I am a chemist so nothing to do with hair but I just have a thing for watching your videos! I can tell you are by far one of the best hair stylists on YouTube (I am not even pointing out the ones that are not that good! hehehe) BTW… I keep going back to 13.02… sooooooooooooooo funny!! hahahahahaha

Charles Prest: Ok. Do it put that scoop back in the powder canister. You just ruined the rest of the lightener. Also the mixing club bows are great. For color. Not lightener. The bleach dries up and can get into the motor. Transfering into another bowl is a waste of product. Using a comb is ok and some overlap is honestly expected. Infact you should go back over each section with lightener and 2.5vol to remove any pre existing toner to have a clean base to tone. Using cling wrap is too time consuming. Use wax paper sheets instead. Same result with 110% more control. Don't be abrasive with lifted hair it's not worth the damage you are creating. Try to think things through a little bit before you go and execute. You will save more time and time is money. This comes from experience. My apologies to leave a negative comment but remember it's not about our pocket, it's about our client. Make them happy and they will make your pockets happy.

Yazzziii: Thank sooo much for your motivation I am new hairstylist and I hate the technique my school showed me and I love watching different techniques to do better

SDA4Ever: Hi Mandy, I use to be a cosmetologist and sure do miss it. I use your techniques on myself and you are such an inspiration. One thing I wanted to ask you and I wonder if you can give it a try for those of use that are Vegan or plant based. I am having a difficult time finding color and lightner that is vegan and doesn't test on animals. I may have to give up on color altogether. I wanted to try Aloxxi, but they don't sell their product at Cosmo Proff. Can you help, do you know any other brands? Thanks a bunch!

Gloria Henderson: What did you use as a toner? What was the formula?

DeAndra Villarreal: new subscriber alert! if you have classes I would for sure get the girls in the salon I work with to check it out! I love your creativity! keep up the good work!

kiwigal: I can't understand what people expect when they bleach hair/ change hair colour. There will be obvious regrowth regardless. I do my own and retouch roots 3 weekly. Dita Von Teese retouches her roots 2 weekly she said in a video. A new bleach with the rebonder in it is Cureplex hi lift.

Barbie Jean: Your new technique as you call it is a great one people have been using that one now BUT there's TWO things you did wrong that I think you should know BEFORE you try doing this technique on someone else.. I noticed that you were brushing the comb through the hair with the bleach on it not only that but you were rubbing it back & forth. Those two things are NEVER supposed to be done when using bleach especially with someone who already has fine hair. You don't comb bleach through the hair because it will start to become stringy with the process chemicals already on it & you will get the bleach on the hair that's already blonde which I saw that you did do & you still went ahead and brushed that blonde piece through the comb as well.. and the second things rubbing the hair back and forth that's like pouring a whole bowl of bleach on already bleached hair because what it's going to do is break off get bundled up & become straw or stringy like. Yes her hair came out good in the end but you need to focus on both things her color being good in the end and still keeping the integrity of her hair ! I hope you take into consideration the advice because those two things you did can turn someone's beautiful hair into stringy hair falling out

Carmen Lofton: Just wondering if your client gets a discount for being your assistant. How do you work that bc my clients would take issue to that. As for the bleach, I've tried it and I think I like Keune ultimate blonde (in the white cannister) and BlondeMe better. Less damage.

thisgirlemm: How long did it take for you to apply?

Nicole G: I live in Canada so when I tried to order this, it went from 25.00 for the bleach to 85.00 including shipping o.o I think I'll pass lmao

Amanda & Chris Kreitlow: I'm going back to doing this at home again- (not a professional) hard to find anyone as great as you! I'm brassy and need to touch up my white. Would like to add rose gold, how should I add that to the method- should I just go over my roots with the rose or bleach first and tone then paint down with the rose? Thanks mandi!!- Amanda in The Poconos PA

Belen Romero: Sos una genia!Gracias por compartir tus conocimientos!Quiero ser como.vos <3

Saffron333: Very interesting video. I would probably still prefer wax paper or foil because I hate the way plastic wrap sticks to itself, balls up, and makes me frustrated but the results look really nice.

Jasmine Gardener: hey girl!!! love your videos!! what is your hair color in this video???? I'm dying to know xxxx looks gorgeous

Ro Sharp: Amazing color and I love your pink hair girl it gives you a beautiful pink creamy complexion

Jayda Pierson: about how long did it take you to do her hair?

Jamie MAC13: Ok girl. I ordered this magic bleach and just wondering if I was doing something wrong or you have any suggestions. I mixed it up to what I thought wa she right consistansey but it puffed up really quick and by my 4 th foil was dryish and falling in the floor and making a mess. The only way it was working was to add more proccessing solution and stir it up every 5 minutes or so. I was doing my sisters hair so was not a problem to ask her to stir it up every time it started doing that but it was inconvenient. ! Can you give me any tips or know what if anything I was doing wrong. ?

Glamazon Jess: Mandie, I have a question. I would like to balayage my hair. It's currently about a level 6 golden color with about 1.5in of regrowth of my natural hair color which is a 6-7 ash. I would like to paint the balayage over both but I know that the regrowth will lift faster. How do I make sure that the two sections will be cohesive and look good?

A Gitano: Hi! How would you touch up her regrowth without losing dimension? Also, why did you not go all the way to her scalp? Thanks ;)

sticky617: Hi mandi! I would love to do this at home to try and save money on going to the salon, I've purchase the magic lightener and 30 developer. Would there be anyway you can give me suggestion on my hair and if I should go in with another color after? I'd be glad to send u photos!

Annabelle Elizabeth: Does anyone know how I can achieve level 7 dark blonde on dark virgin hair roots(dark brown) I have a full head of level 7 dark blonde highlights and about 3-4 inches of root growth. What developer volume do I need? Do I mix it with a colour? Hope someone can help I would really appreciate it! Thank you
