Dyeing My Hair Brown | At Home

Hey everyone, it's jocelyn and welcome back to my channel so for today's video i'm going to be dyeing my hair, i bought the hair color. I told you guys to guess what color i was going to be dyeing my hair and a lot of you guys thought i was going to be bleaching. My hair lighter, but i'm actually going to be dying. It back to brown, which might be surprising because i have a lot of videos on this channel where i'm bleaching my hair, but my hair is bleached, as you guys can see. You can't tell as much because it's in a braid, but i decided to go back to brown. I got this color like a medium brown kind of. I didn't want to dye my hair dark, dark brown because that's like my natural hair color. Hopefully this will come out like a medium brown, so yeah. I bought this two bottles of hair dye, so i have that i also have 20 volume developer and then i have this stuff, so i can mix it together. Oh yeah, i'm going to take my hair out just put my hair in a braid today, okay, i like having light hair, but my hair always gets orange and i don't like that. I'M always having to tone it yeah. I think the best thing right now is just to dye it dark. My hair is gon na be wavy because it was in a braid. It'S super wavy. This is how light my hair is. As you guys can see, it's pretty light. I did bleach it a lot of times. The majority of my hair is bleached i'll show you guys the back of it. This is what the back of my hair looks like you know, i'm gon na dye it brown and i'm really excited. I haven't had completely brown hair in a really long time. I'M going to start. I bought two containers. I don't know if that's how much i'm going to use, but that's how much i bought, because my mom said i probably need to because i have a lot of hair. My hair is really thick. What this looks orange, i don't have only two. I think i'll. Just need one: oh, i already did it wrong, ah already messed up, i'm supposed to put it in here. You think that the amount of hair videos i've done. I would know how to do this, but i still don't know how this isn't going to be perfect, but i'm trying my best. I want to mix it up, i'm not filming in my bathroom i've done so many hair videos in my bathroom, i'm honestly bored of the background, i'm in my grandma's bathroom today. So here it is it's orange um yeah! So now i can separate my hair because i don't want to have a patch of bleached hair. That will not be good, so i'm going to do this. It hurts separating hair when you have gloves on because the hair sticks to the gloves. So here i have the hair, so i detangle it. I don't think it's tangled. Oh, it actually is not really sad about getting rid of the blonde. I'M serious, i'm not gon na like it. How do i section this like that? Oh my ear, we have started. I need to make sure that i get it like on all of my hair, because i don't want to have like a blonde patch in my hair i filmed a ring video today. I already uploaded that it's going to film this video tomorrow, like me, dying my hair as i film it tomorrow, so i was like might as well just film it today. Okay, next section also, i don't like my hair, because since i've bleached my hair so many times, the blonde isn't the same color none of the blonde pieces that i bleach are the same color and that bothers me. I'M gon na do this in time-lapse, because this is taking too long. My cartilage piercing is going through it calling my mom but she's not answering me and keep calling my mom, because i need her help doing the next section. You can't really mess up brown hair dye. I don't think. Oh, my gosh, my whole neck is literally dyed. I don't know. I guess i just have a lot of hair at the bottom, because the middle layer barely used any dye. Um i've been vlogging recently. I think i've been vlogging for like three weeks, i'm kind of proud of myself, because i'm terrible at vlogging - i don't blog ever my hair's, so knotted. I don't know why. I literally had it in a braid. Okay, my neck is going to be dyed literally, there is no way it's not going to be. I'M just trying to make sure i have this all over my hair, i'm focusing it more on the ends, because my ends are the ones that are super light. Sorry, if i haven't been looking at the camera, it's because there's a mirror right next to me, and i keep looking at that - hopefully i'm not going to have like blonde patches in my hair. The good thing is, my roots are dark, so i know i won't have any like patches there, but i'm trying to get all of it out. Okay, let me twist my hair up 30 minutes to 45 minutes, so i'll come back in 45 minutes when my hair is washed trying to wipe this off my neck, and i think it stained my neck. I got it all over my neck. I couldn't i couldn't not get it on my neck, like how would i not do that, like on my arms and my neck, i got it on my face. I haven't had dark hair in a very long time, so i'm really excited to see how it looks. Remember i did a poll a while ago and i was like: do you guys think i should dye my hair, darker or lighter a lot of you guys said lighter and that's what i did. I did lighter it's because i was kind of like bored with my hair. I didn't like it so i was like. Maybe if i dry, my hair lighter i'll, like my hair more and i did it lighter and actually did not like my hair. I liked it for a little bit and then i was like no i've been bleaching, my hair for a while, so it's definitely going to look different, so i set the timer for 40 minutes already. So i'll see you guys in 40 minutes now my 40 minute timer just went off, so i'm gon na go take a shower and i'm gon na wash my hair and i'm gon na come back and show you guys how it looks. I just go to the shower. I still have hair dye kind of on my face like right here and right there. I have not seen my hair yet so i'm gon na see it. So, let's see how it looks. Oh my gosh, it looks different on camera. On the camera does not look dark, but it looks dark in person. I brushed it out. I can't really give my full opinion on it because it's still wet so when your hair is wet, it's obviously a different color than what it's going to look like, but this is what it's looking like right now. This is my hair fully wet. I am going to straighten it. That'S what i usually do. I usually strain my hair when i do like hair videos, so i'm going to strain it tomorrow, i'm not going to scream it today because i'm kind of tired. I wish you guys the back. I hope i didn't miss a piece, but this is what it looks like this is the hair so far we're gon na strain it tomorrow and see how it looks, and i think i'm gon na ask my mom to cut it a bit, because i want my Ends trimmed. So this is what my hair looks like. I straightened it today, it's kind of late, so that's why the lighting's kind of off, but this is what it looks like it's brown. I don't really know what kind of brown it's like. A medium brown, the bottom is a lot darker and i think that's because i didn't have as many highlights on the bottom yeah. This is my hair. It'S now brown. I dyed it brown just because i was kind of getting tired of my bleached hair. Also, my hair was getting orange and i didn't like i would tone it, but it still wouldn't look that good.
