Wig Review: Catch By Ellen Wille

Hey it's margaret at main street hair solutions located in thorpe wisconsin. I am reviewing a wig for you today. This is a new style from ellen villa called catch, and it is part of their prime power collection, which means that the hair is or the the wig is made of a blend of both human hair and heat friendly, synthetic fiber, which helps bring the cost down. If this wig were entirely made of human hair, it would be much more expensive than than this is so again. This is a blend of both synthetic fiber and human hair fiber. So catch is a newish wig from ellen villa i'm going to model her for you. In just a moment, i want to show you what the inside looks like. So i'm going to flip her inside out she's made beautifully. The top is full monofilament and a beautiful lace front and then the rest of the wig is hand-stitched closed, wefts of hair. So if it needs to be adjusted in size because of this construction, it makes a little bit harder. So, ideally, you would fit into just a good average. I find that the fit of this particular style is just a good average. I have kind of a petite average head and this one fits me just a little bit bigger than some of ella villa's other wigs do so. Keep that in mind. If you have a really tiny head, you're, not very easily going to be able to adjust the fit on this as you would if it had open wefts of hair. So that's what the inside looks like. So i'm going to put her on for you and show you what she looks like okay. I'Ve got her on before. I forget, because i meant to before i took my other wig off. That is one of my own wigs that i wear pretty regularly it's by envy. It'S part of their envy hair collection, which is also a blend of human hair and heat friendly, fiber and v, calls that envy hair, just like ellen villa calls it prime hair, and that wig style is called shyla. And then i just put a little bit of curls in it so anyway, back to catch. I really like this wig well done ellen villa the hair. Fiber is amazing. I washed this wig because the wigs when they come from the manufacturer, this um this prime here, has a like a preserving oil on it, i guess i'll say and it makes it a little harder um to take to the styling. If i wanted to curl it or whatever, so i always prefer to wash my human hair and blend styles when i get them in style them either hardly at all, or maybe i switch up the style a little bit, but the point is to get them washed. So that, when my clients are trying them on, they feel how they're going to feel when you actually own it and wear it day to day it doesn't have that oil on it, which makes them feel amazingly soft. This still, this feels phenomenal, but - and this is how it's going to feel like as opposed to um having that oil on there and then it just feeling uh about as amazing as it gets. That'S not truly how they are so i like to wash them and then so then i let it air dry and then i just very, very quickly ran a flat iron to make sure that i got the part where i wanted it and that this hair would Go this way and this hair would go this way, but i didn't do a ridiculous amount of styling. I just washed it and then flat ironed it really quickly. So this, basically, is what cats looks like you could put a bunch of curls in it. That'S the fun part of having hair that can be styled. You can wear this as a nice sleek bob, you could flip it under. You could flip it out. You could put loose waves in it, you could do whatever you want and that's what makes it really fun. If you like to have bangs, you can certainly style the wig that way and get some bangs cut in. That is not an issue. Let you take a look at the front here: it has a lace, front, okay and then the monofilament top. I don't know if you'll be able to see it i'll, try to spread the hair apart a little bit. Okay, hopefully you can see that so it has a beautiful monofilament top and a beautiful lace front. So the the fit is really nice again. If you have a little peanut head, you're, probably not going to be able to wear this wig really comfortably it'll, be too baggy, but um it. It has a nice good average fit to it so i'll, just kind of do a spin. So you can see all angles of it and just keep in mind if you want this to be curly, take your curling iron out and make it curly. Okay, it has a mono top, like i said, the i have it parted on the left side. My camera is on selfie mode, so i know it's flipped around, but i've made it a left side part you can make a center part. You can make it a right part. You can make it a shallow left or right part. So just know that you can, that is flexible. Having bangs on it is flexible um. You can do a lot with this. I am really loving this wig a lot. I personally want to keep her and don't even want to take her off after doing this review, but i can't do that. Otherwise i wouldn't have any wigs in my store.
