Bright Red Without Bleach & Protect The Lace! | Feat. Wiggins Hair

Everybody welcome back to my channel, I'm sorry McQueen and in today's video I'll, be showing you how you can easily achieve this vibrant red color without any type of bleach and I'll. Show you how you can protect your legs in the process, so the unit that I'll be using today is from Wiggins hair. I received their Brazilian straight 22 inch legs for a unit. That means there's about six inches of Pardons face in the front and none of the back. Of course, this unit has two combs in the front and one in the back. I did not take any combs out like I usually do. I did use them this time, but I think that I'm gon na go ahead and take them out. Y'All know I don't really feel combs cuz. I don't need nothing tugging on my hair y'all on so here's how I received the unit. It did come free plug. The hairline is not super thick, which is always a plus, because I do not like what companies send super dense units. It'S too much work and it just really really never comes out the way I want so yeah I like when it's less work, and I really like that we can scent this hair like this, as you can see tracks in the middle lace. In the front, this hand was really soft and I really do like the hair. It did take the color well and it really. I really didn't have any issues working with this hair, so definitely a thumbs up to Wiggins, so now be showing you how to protect the lace. You'Ll need got to be blue. The yellow bottle got to be freezing spray, an application brush and a blow dryer. So, to make a long story short to really just get the process and explain to guys what you're gon na do is basically coat the lace and got to be you're. Gon na do three lens. I'Ve got to be, and after you apply each individual layer, you're going to blow-dry it on the cool setting so that it hardens up, and it's not you know sticky or tacky anymore. So, if you're like me and you're impatient, I got ta. Let you know who had some patient with this process because the you know the dryer and the harder the got to be is then the less chance you have of getting the color on the links so yeah. This is a really super easy process and you know just do one layer blow dry or cool to your second layer blow dry on cool, thirdly, blow dry, cool and then you're gon na spray, the got to be freezing spray and blow dry once again. So that's basically what I'm gon na be showing you guys and it's you know I'll be listed down below, so you can follow the steps and don't be afraid to run this video back y'all, because this method is the truth I denied. I did get some color on the lace blade, that's where I cut it off and I didn't bring mine. So you know: you're not gon na put got to be all over the lace, even where you're gon na cut it you're just gon na go slightly in front of the hairline, and that's it so yeah when you're done. If you do happen to have any got to be on the hair is so just trying to comb it out, get it out, because if it stays on, then the color won't. You know attach to that piece of hair. So that's just like a little pro tip. Make sure you go back and make sure any random strands of hair try to brush it out so that the got ta be is not wanting any more so now I'm the color. They had the moment that you've all been waiting for I'm using the Loreal hi color highlights in the color red. Each box requires two and a half ounces of developer, so I basically just poured the developer up to the six line. I use 40 volume developer because I've really did want this color to come out, vibrant without bleach and the higher the developer. You girl, the better so yeah I poured full of it all together in one and I just mix it up. If I was doing bundles, I probably would have did one box at a time, but I felt like why do that? Why waste time and just wanna gather and saturate the wig and that's exactly what I did so when you do put the colors together and make this mixture, make sure that you mix it up until it's nice and a smooth consistency. You don't want any lumps so now it's time to apply the color and sensual went ahead, and did that great step of protecting your lace? You do not have to be super careful and super exact unless you want to up horse. So what I did, I just you, know drench the unit saturated it and I did use the application brush in the front so that I made sure that all my edges, all my baby hairs on the front and yeah. I didn't really want dark roots, but, as you'll see in the end, I did end up getting some dark patches still, which is okay, and I really did just like how it came out anyway. I really didn't mind, but if you're somebody who wants your hair to be exactly red all right all over, then you definitely can go ahead and put your unit on a wig head and go through and apply the color like that. But one thing I do recommend is, after you, saturated get a brush or get a cone and go through the head. This just make sure that everything is coated. Everything gets the color. Everything has some type of red on it but, like I said, and a disclaimer, I'm not professional. So, that's why I really did not mind how it came out, but you can definitely go ahead and put on the wig head and do it like that but easier in some way, for us, not professionals as girls like to look good without too much work. Just go ahead and do what I'm doing make sure that you flip the unit over and get the back of it and, like I said, go through with a comb just to make sure that most of the hair, all of the hair is coated with the color. So here's how the wig looks after I cut the lace off and now that I'm you know customizing it. So it looks good as you can see the roots. The part the lace is not red, so I don't look crazy and it looks good. I really do like how this came out. I definitely think that next time I use the gossipy process to protect the lace, I'm going to be way more patient. I really must be patient because I know if I was a little more patient, I think, would it turned out even better, but I think it looks fine like it doesn't look ruined. The lace is in ruins and yeah. So I'm not necessarily gon na. Do a tutorial on how I customized this unit, but basically I use the same method that I use for my closure. Customization video so just basically use the same method just with more space, sound and yeah. As you can see, I'm I'm just so happy how it turned out. It did not come out crazy. I do not like ruined Lakes like that. Just really wound to the look so yeah you guys.
