My February Must Haves For Fine Natural Hair

I know you've been asking me about my skincare regimen., So for this monthly favorites for the month of February, I've actually included my entire skincare regimen in this video.. However, you are going to have to watch all the way to the end if you want to get to that particular part of the goodies.. Alright, let's go., So I know you're not surprised by this one, because I literally just did a review on it.. This is the Curl Peace, Pre-POO treatment., And you guys, prior to using this Curl Peace, pre-shampoo detangler.. I thought that the African pride one was thebomb.com., But then this came into my life and now it's a hard core.. Second, if not they're, fighting for first place, I don't know., But between the Curl Peace Pre-POO and the African Pride Pre-POO. Both of them are kind of performing in similar ways.. So, for the month of February, anyways I've been using this one a little bit more often than the African Pride Pre-POO one., So yeah. This is definitely on my favorites list for the month of February. Number two on the list. I actually don't have right here with me because it's in the wash., So that's actually the Satin Pillow Cases. And a Satin Pillow Case is going to double duty as it relates to protection on your strands on when you're sleeping at night.. So here on, Fine Natural Hair ROCKs, I'm always talking about the benefits of bonnets.. I think, if you're a part of the Fine Natural Hair community, you probably already know that., But a double layer of protection is using a Satin Pillow Case. Just in case your bonnet falls off at night.. So if you're anything like me and you kind of toss and turn your all over the place at night, when you sleep, then that Pillow Case is going to come in and perform as double duty protection to make sure that your strands are still protected. So this is the Curl Origin.. This is MARACUJA Rich, Moisture, Hair Milk., And you guys, I haven't, talked a lot about this product on this channel. And I really don't know why? Not because this is absolutely amazing.. I'M currently going down through my bot like getting down to the bottom of my bottle., But this is incredibly moisturizing.. It does have a teeny weeny bit of protein in it as well too.. So if you've got Fine Natural strands like myself, that's really going to help. You impart strength into your strands in addition to moisture. So yeah. This is the MARACUJA Rich, Moisture, Hair, Milk. And it strengthens and grows. It. Moisturize strengthens and nourish. It's just a fantastic catch. All if you want to keep your regimen as simple as possible. Number. Four. On the list is for those of you who suffer from dry and itchy scalps.. Now, if you are in a winter environment, thank god winters almost done., But if you are in an environment that has colder temperatures, you know exactly what I mean when I talk about dry and itchy scalp., So I was looking forever for something that would cure the Dry itchy scalp, but also keep the moisture in my strands., And I was so happy when I found this product right here.. So, of course this is the As I Am Dry & Itchy Scalp Tea Tree Oil and Olive Oil Shampoo., It's a dandruff shampoo.. It'S got pyrithione zinc in it, which is actually for support dermatitis as well. And it's fantastic.. It really does the job.. It really does clean up your scalp in a way that doesn't keep your strands. Squeaky clean.. So shout outs to my stylist and my friend Zarmarla, who actually recommended this product to me. And I've been literally using it ever since. Number five on the list.. Oh my gosh we're here, ready. Number five on the list is something that not only is great for hair growth, but also great for relaxation., And this is my Vanity Planet, Scalp Massager.. So a lot of people use this little device to actually encourage, like sudsing from their shampoos.. I'M not really overly crazy about that.. But what I am overly crazy about is making sure that, like my scalp, the follicles are nourished, blood is flowing properly. And so every so often, especially when I'm stressed out with work, I will go in with this lovely little scalp massager that actually vibrates as well.. So I'm not sure if you can hear that., But it's actually having a vibrating effect, which you can just literally apply to your scalp into any areas of slow growth. And clearly I love it too much. Is these goodies right here.? So these are actually Satin Life Scrunchies that I actually picked up from Amazon.. Now I really love these Scrunchies.. You can purchase Scrunchies anywhere., But the thing about these Scrunchies I find that they're smaller than usual, because they're marketed for little girls.. So if you've got fine natural strands, you don't really have a lot of hair. You don't really have a bunch of density, especially if your hair is shorter., So you might need a smaller Scrunchies. That'S not going to overpower the fine strands that you do have.. So this has been really fantastic for me for stretching my strands for ensuring that I'm not you know, experiencing moisture loss because it is Satin lifed. We are fully out of the Fine Natural Hair goodies that are my favorites for February. And we are now entering the favorite beauty, skincare and all that other lovely stuff, as it relates to you, know the rest of our beauty regimens.. Now this particular product, I'm actually wearing it right now on my lids., This is, of course, the Natasha Denona Bronze Palette, which I absolutely love.. These colors are so beautiful. They're, fantastically worn on their own., I'm actually wearing right now. This color is actually rhodium., And so here's rhodium right here and I have that on my lid and then for the browbone and just above the eyebrow hairs itself down here is beach.. So this is a great palette.. It blends like a dream.. It is very easy to use. And I absolutely love it, because oftentimes time is not something that I have a lot of., So this Natasha Denona Bronze Palette. Definitely winning in my books is definitely one of my favorites.. Alright, let's enter skincare. Number eight on my list is a dual actually., So the first one is actually the Aveeno.. This is the Daily Moisturizing Yogurt Body Wash., So I actually have very sensitive skin again as it relates to Canadian winters.. The weather is just dry. It causes a lot of itchiness for me., And this Aveeno Body Wash just make sure that I'm not feeling itchy that I'm not feeling like dry and just unhappy in terms of my skin, which I absolutely love.. So this is a brand new bottle right here.. I just ran out of one and I've literally been using this for years., As I mentioned earlier. I am talking about the Aveeno duel and this for number. Nine is the Aveeno Daily Moisturizing. Oops, Let's see if we can get you in there. The Daily Moisturizing Lotion. So I really like this lotion a lot for the same reasons as the body wash.. It pairs very nicely with the body wash.. It'S got oatmeal in there., It's actually dermatologist recommended. And the things that it claims to do in terms of helping dry itchy skin.. It'S not just marketing., It's actually very useful and it's become a staple in my regimen over the course of you know. The years of my life like I've always been living in Canada, and I don't know how I would have done it without Aveeno.. So thank you. Aveeno. And if you see this, definitely sponsor your girl, because I got lots of great things to say about Aveeno. So number 10 on the list, I actually love to smell good whenever I go out smelling good, looking good. All of those things are part of the complete package., And so for me, I absolutely fell in love with this scent. As soon as I found it., This is the Brazilian crush.. This is their pistachio and salted caramel.. So, as you can see, I've kind of gone in on this, like my bottle, my spree is kind of like halfway done, so I do need to re-up on this.. I purchased this for the first time as part of their holiday kit. Back when I did my Sephora haul., And if you missed that video, you can definitely check it out right here, whereby I actually spent $ 1,000 on Sephora stuff. Click the video to find out how and why. But this is one of the things that I purchased during that haul and I actually really really love.. So it does not like to statue and salted caramel. If you're somebody who likes you, know scents that are sweet, scents that are very feminine, then you're going to really enjoy this scent, because it's literally absolutely one of my favorites. And those are the types of tones That I like and undertones inside of my sense as well., So of course, if we're rocking makeup, you know you've got a full face on you have to take it off right. One of the things that I really love about this next product is like. Not only is it really fantastic for removing makeup, but it's also really fantastic for correcting errors., So this is a course is just regular cleansing. Wipes., The one that I have is skipped the spa. I purchased mine for $ 699 here in Canada.. I don't know if you guys can see that., But I purchased mine here in Canada for $ 699 Canadian, which is a fantastic deal at this department, store called winners.. So it's kind of like a off-brand department stores, kind of like Marshalls for those of you who are in America., But this is nice. Because it's got coconut and hibiscus, which are two products that my body, my hair, my skin, everything absolutely loves.. And this is one of the wipes, the cleansing wipes that I really like.. So I am going to actually go ahead and see if I can find this. If you are interested in trying something out like this for yourself.. So while we talk about skincare, I cannot at all forget this lovely product right, here., So coming in at number 12 is the OYIN Handmade, Whipped Pudding., And you guys like this is so amazing.. If you are a stickler for cleaning products., If you want to know exactly what's going on your skin, what's going on your hair., I love this.. It smells like Shea butter., It really does.. It smells just like shea butter, which doesn't surprise me., Because Shea butter is actually the second ingredient inside of this product.. So I love it.. You can put this on your hair as well.. I did try putting on my hair for a little bit.. I don't recommend it for fine natural strands.. It is marketed as a hair and body butter., But if you've got fine strands, you probably really only want to be using it as a body butter because it can be too heavy. And secondary to that is it actually attracts like fluff and like little things that Are in the environment to your hair, which can then turn into single strand knots like I don't recommend it., But for your skin amazing.? Okay, let's have it for skin care., I'm such a Nerd. Curlfriend. Let me know if this is far too much excitement for skin care.. I take my skin care very seriously.. You should too. It's the largest organ on your body and it is very important. So jumping on into skincare., I actually like to you know, reveal very clean. Very fresh skin as much as I possibly can. Now this product right here is actually new.. I have one in my shower as well, but I figured I would show you the box just in case.. You know you see it while you're outside and you want to grab it.. This is, of course, the Clinique Blackhead Solutions, seven day Deep, Pore cleanse and scrub.. So this stuff is amazing.. It is a scrub that is light enough to use on your face every single day and it's not going to cause like rawness or irritation. Pending if you've already got a skin condition.. If you've already got a skin condition. Go to your dermatologist see your doctor deal with that. First, before you try out anything that I'm recommending, because you don't want to go in and irritate a live situation right, But if your skin is in a place where you know, there's nothing active going on in terms of a breakout or irritation, then this is really Going to help to continue to slough away the dead skin cells and show up the beautiful skin cells underneath that are radiant and glowing and all those fantastic things that we love. I've been using this for the better part of two or three years now., And it's Definitely a staple in my regimen. Following that scrub I go in with the Clinique.. This is the all about clean., Oh it's so bright.. Can we get that? Are we gon na get it Let's see. Yay., So this is the all about skin. All about clean! Sorry foaming facial soap., So I use this sometimes after the scrub, sometimes before the scrub, depending on how my skin feels., I'm all about how your skin feels, how does your hair feel? How do you feel. And that's kind of what guides me in terms of like my regimens and my routines., So for this one right here? I use it by itself as well.. It'S a foaming, facial soap.. It really does get the skin clean.. I will forewarn that it does have a little bit of a squeaky skin feeling to it, which can be uncomfortable during the colder months., But the products that I'm going to show you next throws that moisture right back in which causes everything to balance out eventually.. So if you're interested in that squeaky, clean feeling, you like your skin to feel like it's gotten a good clean, then you're going to be really happy with this clinique all about clean, forming facial soap.. So this is actually for very dry to dry combination. Skin.. I want to make sure to let you know that now Clinique does have different formulas that are for, like medium skin oily skin., I've got very dry to dry combo skin., So this works really well for me.. Next, is this product right here.? This is again Clinique.. I love Clinique. You're gon na see a trend here., But this is the clinique all about eyes. And it is for reducing circles and pots.. Now I don't get a lot of like circles and pots., Because I try to be more proactive about those things., But for those times when my skin does look like it needs a little pick-me-upper. I can always depend on this product right here to really help me. Out. Now it's super small., Because a lot a little bit goes a long way.. All of these products kind of just have like a lab kind of skincare smell to it., So they don't really have a smell which is good or a scent rather because you don't want to be irritating your skin with unnecessary ingredients.. This is great, especially if you're over 30, which I am.. You really want to make sure that you are taking those proactive steps to start to maintain the skin that you do have and to really put in the moisture into your skin since every year. You know we lose a little bit of elastane over time. We really want to be putting as much moisture back into our skins as possible to keep things plush and fresh. Following all of that up again, I'm coming back at you with the Clinique.. This is the Clinique Moisture Surge., And this has 100H auto-replenishing hydrator.. So it's an Aloe Vera Bio-Ferment Technology. And it really works very nicely. Yeah Canada's cold., The windchill is aggressive.. This stuff really does stand up to the test.. Whenever I use it, I don't feel like. I need anything more. I can just jump into my you know, makeup routine and my skin feels nice.. So if you also have dry to dry, combo skin - or maybe if you don't - and you don't have oily skin Clinique - is really fantastic at helping, at least from my experience at helping to kind of you know, mediate or remediate. Some of those issues resolve rather some of those issues. Okay. So now that we're out of the beauty and skincare category, let's jump into lifestyle., So I am a huge tea drinker.. I love tea. love it., And so you can imagine my excitement when I actually discovered this tea.. Now I blame my Caribbean parents, my Caribbean background, that kind of had a stop in England and now we're in Canada on this obsession., Because tea is really big. For my family and my culture and my background., So this, of course, is the Yorkshire biscuit tea., And you guys this tastes like it says it tastes like tea and biscuits.. It does taste like tea and biscuits., Like I like to enjoy mine with just a touch of coffee creamer in it., The creamer that kind of has like a salted caramel taste to it, maybe a mocha taste., And it's so good.. It'S so good for the morning.. Now this tea is actually black tea, so it does have a touch of caffeine in it., But it's delicious. In the morning. You know if you have some fruit and then you top it with your tea, you can have it black as well.. It does taste good black too., But it's just amazing., Like I didn't think when I first saw the marketing for it that it would actually taste like tea and biscuits, but Yorkshire did that.. It really does taste like tea and biscuits.. Next on. My list is my little razzle dazzle phone case., So I actually really like a little bit of razzle dazzle in my life.. I love anything that sparkles and shiny and golds and girly. Any of those things you're speaking my language., And so I actually found this at the mall. That was like one of those middle kiosks. And they had like a bunch of things like it., I'm pretty sure. Wherever you are, if you're in a metropolitan type area, they probably have it too. If you're not. I did find the link to something similar that I'm actually low key thinking to get one.. I don't need it., But I'm low key thinking that I should get it because it's just so pretty., So it's actually very similar to this and it's bedazzled and gold as well. And, of course, the link to that is also in the description box down below.. Now this one retailed for, I think, $ 15 Canadian., So you might get a better deal if you look at the kiosk at the mall versus like an Amazon link..
