How To Do Highlights At Home 2020|| How To Get A Honey Blond Highlights On A Wig With Just Bleach

Hi guys welcome back to my youtube channel yeah in today's video guys. I am going to be changing the color of this wig and i've got my poly color with me. So i wanted to lift this wig first and then i'm going to color it to red black with the poly color. So the first thing that i needed to do is to actually comb the hair detangle. It very well because, as i've always said before, starting anything on any wig, you have to comb it off. So this hair is um an old wig. I just you know like found under my bag, so i'm just gon na do something different with it like i'm. So tired of black hairs, these days, like it's so boring anyways, so when i've detangled the hair and then i'm gon na set out my you know, work table and, as you know, i always play treat my true lights bleach and true zone creme peroxide. So i'm just going to go ahead and put in my um protective gear and then i'm going to start measuring or putting in the bleach and mixing it with the peroxide okay, so um as about now, i thought i was actually bleaching the or lifting the wig Before i color, so i actually took about three scoops of this bleach just to um lift the wig, because the more um thick the consistency is the more your wig will lift, and so i added a little bit of um cream peroxide. To give me like a pop consistency, and then i went ahead and mixed it together. Just make sure that it's all mixed together, like all of the powder, is um mixed into the peroxide and, as you can see it wasn't enough. I went ahead and added a little bit more just to make sure that it's well um cream, like so um. While i was mixing it, i decided to just achieve the look i was going for with just bleach instead of using the poly color. So now, i'm just gon na um try to highlight this wig with just bleach and get like a honey brown color with the bleach and peroxide. So, as you can see, this consistency is a little bit too thick, which will give you kind of like a light blonde color. So i went ahead and applied that on the surface and in the areas that i wanted to highlight, and then i'm going to go ahead and put in more peroxide in the remaining consistency and then make it more watery. As you can see and then go ahead. And put it everywhere else now the lighter consistency is going to give you the honey brown color. While the thick consistency will give you the highly um light brown, a light, um blonde color. So i went ahead and put it everywhere and then i'm going to go ahead and mix it all together, wrap it in the foil and let it process for about um 10 minutes. And you know the longer. You wait the more it to process and it'll turn into blonde color. So if you want like a honey brown color, you have to um take it out after, like 10 minutes or even five minutes, depending on the consistency, as you can see, i think i'm getting the desired result that i want part of the hair is honey brown Color wipe or the other part where i highlighted earlier processed a lot more, which is the blonde color i'll just go ahead and wash it and come right back. Okay, so the hair has been washed and then this is how it's looking. I remember when her hair is lifted and it's wet, the color might come out a little bit different, so just go ahead and hand dry. It i'm just going to use my hand, dryer quickly hand dry it, and then i will be back to show you how the highlights came out. So this is basically like a try and error. I'M definitely going to be trying another method with the um bleach. Still with the bleach and peroxide just to show you guys how you can perfectly color or highlight a wig without coloring, so this is basically is still wet and i'm going to come back to show you when it's dried. Okay, so i used my hand dryer and dried it and guys, as you can see, it's not really bad, so i'll just go ahead and style it. I went ahead and put in a little bit of a beachy coral. Well, this is how the color came out. I tried to put like some really curls on it, but i didn't have the patience to do it and i'm not going to sign out with a glam face today, because the weather is absolutely hot and i can't even imagine putting products on my face because i Am burning up right now so you're going to get what i gave, which is this bare face right now, so how i intend the color to come out. I was actually going for the red black, but after bleaching this unit i was like that. Color is just amazing like get into this color guys get into it, it's so cute and don't worry guys you're. Looking at me like, what's cute about this thing, probably because i haven't put my makeup on, i haven't slayed up by the time i finished, laying off guys, you will not even know is this hair we're talking about like in the meantime, don't forget to um.
