having the perfect faded OMBRE comes down to having the perfect application. your balayage or ombre should always have a SEAMLESS line going from dark color to light color. an ombre done well can grow out for LONG PERIODS of time without you having to refresh the color very often. the ombre can sometimes be a bigger job initially, but is definitely very low maintenance to upkeep.

Hey guys, we always get asked like how do you do your hair? So today we're going to show you so today we're going to show you how to redo her color. All we're going to do is refresh the pink and move it up a little bit. She wants about two inches of black, so we're going to start with having just four sectioning dividing right down the middle and then the sides and then down the back. The you want to use. You want to have a thinner section like this first thing: we're going to do is back home.the hair a little bit and then we're just going to apply the lightener over the black and being really careful to not overlap. So just like that and then keep the ends out of the foil and folds down. So we just finished the first section and now I'm moving on to the second section. We started in the front because obviously she's really dark. We want to get it as pale as we can right where she can see it. The most today we're testing you in, and you bleed just in our table bleach as here says: we'd love to try any things. But of course we tried on ourselves before we tried on you so now, we've just finally finished boiling her whole head. You can see all the files that are in there and we're going to let it process for about 45 minutes, and at that point we will see what color is we'll need to get her to about at 8 9 4, the magenta to really show through there Looks like it lightened pretty well, so what I'm going to do now is take on all the foils and just put a softer Lightner. They have a Lightner called lovely that we're going to put onto the magenta just to help to strip it out, so that we could put the pastel pink on top. Well. Is that what we're going to do is take this lovely light hair and just bring down Lightner through the magenta, so we can see that the magenta is coming out really nicely of just zoom in it's almost light enough just to put the pastel over it. So here we are at the lighten stage. You can see the magenta was stripped out for the most part. So again we're going to use the for sectioning pattern. What'S really important about doing the color is that you want to keep your sections really clean. I have a towel right here just in case. I need to wipe my hands because it's really important that you don't get the magenta pink too far down the Strand, so we're probably going to do you can see some of it is a little bit darker, so that might dictate how much magenta we need to Put in because we need to make sure that that stuff is covered. Where is a little darker, it's that will show through when you're just putting on pest sell. So we're probably going to be doing about two and a half inches of magenta. Maybe three. If we have to, but we'll probably just melt it on nicely, so what we're going to do is take the first section of hair and you want to make sure that your sections are quite small. Like so place your hand underneath first we're going to take the magenta color, make sure it's all covered and do the underside as well. What you want to do is make sure to turn your brush and melt it down, so that the line is a little bit blurred make sure you get it saturate all the way through, because you don't want any that yellow undertone, showing and a good way to Keep this all very clean is to get all the magenta done first, so that you don't have to be switching between colors and that sort of thing, and then you can go through afterwards and do the melting with the pastel at the end, once you've done. All of that, if you wanted to do them both at the same time, make sure that you're wiping your hands in between the application. Okay, so one thing I want to point out is to do a nice, ombre or a nice color melt. You want to make sure that the sections are all staggered, so not just that the line should be blurred. But if you look at this section here, we probably have about three to three-and-a-half inches of the magenta. And if we go to the next section thick, this section here probably has only about two to two and a half inches. You want to vary between an inch of range, so let's say you're going to do two and a half one section next actually might be three and a half one section might be three and you want to stagger them so that when it all falls, it's all Going to melt together beautifully so now we have all of the magenta done and you can see how the line is not even you want it to be a little bit staggered and if you look underneath as well, the hair is fully saturated on both sides. So now what we're going to do? I'M just going to comb off the ends, I'm going to take the peph style, color and saturate it from root to end, and this is okay, you want to make sure you cover all of the yellow, so you can melt it right on to the magenta. Hey massage it through gently now what you want to do is you want to comb it through, but you don't want to go from the top all the way down, because you're just going to bleed that magenta all the way through start right, where your melt is. Stick your comb in and then comb down, that's going to ensure even saturation massage it through perfect flip that over and now your next section remember, keep your sections clean, pull that down brush out the bottom and then melt that color on let's lodge it through home. In and comb it down so there it is all finished we're going to let it process for the full time, which is 35 minutes. So now the hair is all freshly washed. You can see it's a very blended line with the color, so here you can see. We'Ve just blow-dried it a beautiful blend of colors, so what we did is we first blew dry it with our replenish oil. This is great to put into your hair, after especially after a color correction. It'S designed for damaged, damaged and porous hair inside this bottle. It'S infused with argan oil, avocado oil and vitamin E, so it's really going to help to repair the crevices and give it that beautiful shine. So I'm going to put on a second layer of protect, which is our heat. Protectant heat protector should always go on the hair between every single layer of heat, and you want to be really generous with it. Heat is really damaging for colors, actually, like think of, when you put your clothing into a dryer when it comes up, it's just that little bit faded, anytime blow dryers or curling, irons or flat irons go onto the hair. It'S going to do so. The same thing. It'S going to strip a little bit of that color out. So here is the finished product I'm just going to zoom in so that you can see the color look at that beautiful melt. So all we did was curl the hair and then we finished it with smooth. This is my absolute favorite favorite favorite finishing product for curl, because it gives you a nice crisp, clean, look without it being product E or hairspray, or anything like that really really soft. To the touch, but then the cuticle is completely closed down, so there you guys have it that's how you move my own Rea up. It'S been just over six and a half hours. So just so you know it is a very, very long, color correction, but now with something like this, it's very low maintenance, because this grows in is my natural and it doesn't have to be retouched that often - and so a review on the art angle bleach - is That it worked, it did well. Obviously the color looks fantastic, but is it something that we're going to switch over to probably not? We still love our favorite Schwarzkopf's Schwarzkopf blonde me bleach, and so that one is the one that we prefer, but overall it with. It was a decent product. You

MamaMOB: This isn't "how to do the PERFECT FADED OMBRE" it's how to retouch the perfect faded ombre. There's a difference.

OKSooo_: Love how you provide the steps clean and clear without too much preamble. Amazing job on the color. New Subbie.

Heatherlynn: I loved the before look. I didn't realize the thumbnail was the before until I watched

Veronica Dobson: Thank you for disclosing how much time this took! I always wonder if I'm slow or if this kind of stuff really takes that long. Turns out it's not just me! Thanks ladies, color looks stunning!

Janet Uy: I love the finished look! I love how smooth the transition of colors is from black, to magenta, to very light pink. I'm planning to dye my hair exactly like this one. I hope my hair stylist will be able to pull it off like this

Helen Branton: Just brilliant. The back combing is an excellent idea to help soften the blend. 6 hours is a long session but the maintenance is soooooo much less when you do a blended root. Having the patience to do it right is certainly worth it. Also great clear instructions.

marina anderson: A+ !!!! Awesome technique & very well outlined & executed! I've been a stylist most of my life & I still love watching other stylists and how they do their techniques ! There is so much to learn and a lot of great ways to get from point A to point B . You did a flawless service as well as presentation . Im so glad that at the end , you told the actual time it took from beginning to end. Some people don't realize the amount of work and time involved in doing a thorough yet beautiful job . Quality takes time and it's worth it in the end. I'm subscribing!

llauranne: I couldn't sit for 6 hours, even for beautiful hair, haha! I split my appointments, so got a yellow blonde ombré done, waited a couple months, and then finished with a high contrast dark brown to silver ombré. My hair is in great condition from waiting too!

_• Elaina •_: This was beautifully done! Thanks for posting this ❤

meowmeow_sel: LOVE this!!! Also thank you for mentioning the time it takes!! When I tell my clients it takes 4-5 hours for my vivids, they FREAK! I do it all on my own and it is a very tedious process! I wish i could sit them down and watch all the videos like this! Thank you!!

Gracia Ayu: The colour is so pretty! I wanted to try doing this myself at home and found your video to be the most helpful. One silly question, I've seen people use conditioner with the pink colour and some use developer. Which one am I supposed to use and at what ratio? Thanks for the video

MsElle: From one hairstylist to another - absolutely gorgeous work

Salty Siren: Beautiful!!! Extremely helpful. Would love to see going from a blonde to brown with reddish/purple/burgundy ombre. That's what I want to do next

Ms. Le Chat: Gorgeous results! Love the details, wish I could do this myself due to price locally, but can see it requires a professional, not novice, to get your results. Such skill!

TrueCuLLurz: Wow it turned out so pretty...well done

Carla D B Bee: wow, that came out really wonderful!:)

Melina F: Loved the video! The end result was very pretty. I'm wondering, how does the magenta dye (Schwarzkopf 9.98) look when it fades? Because I'm getting my hair dyed that color and I wanted to know if it will fade to that bleached yellow color, to lighter pink or what. My hair dresser said he will bleach to a level 8 first and then put this dye. Thank you

greykui: love this. though its not from start to finish and just a retouch, it still gets the idea across perfectly. Im not doing obre but a greyish purple, going to see if it works out because its just my tips. thanks for the help lmao

Mittens Biscuits: I really enjoyed watching this video and especially because to stylists were involved and not just a random model/client if you know what I mean… I'm forever looking for ways to melt colors perfectly together and this video shows how.

B&D Sister league: My older sister does this on her own hair and it is amazing

Queen Selene: Beautiful results!!

Dee: i looove that color! my hair is natural & all i have left to conquer is dying it, then I'll be completely self-sufficient. Im not great at cutting my hair or selling it, but im happy with experimenting on my own hair as opposed to letting trying different stylists that don't really know what to do with natural hair. Sorry for the rant, great video! again, love that color! ❤

Ruthy Donoso: I actually liked it before it looked more extreme/cool

Autumn Martino: The thumbnail image is of the hair before, not afterward.

Lilybeth Candelaria: this is a wonderful job. <3

Livs Hair Vids: Very informative!thank you soo much!

MakeWayForCJ: If you ever decide to shoot this again, it would really be great if you'd show us how to do this on natural colored (preferably level 1 or 2) hair. I know that you said that refreshing her hair is the process when doing virgin hair but when showing people who haven't been trained the way you have, asking them to ignore existing color or pretend something isn't there won't help us picture/understand what lead to your results. On the other hand, starting from fresh virgin hair may just be visually clearer for all. Just a thought. \\//

Kilia Pahulu: Sorry ... The hair stylist is amazing at what she does ... But can we please make sure the camera doesn't loose what she is trying to achieve . Wrong side of the client, hand in the way, wrong camera angle . It's very uncomfortable to watch but I think that's such a shame considering how amazing she is x

Queen Gabbie: I love this look it looks like fire almost❤❤❤

Only in Ur Mind: Beautiful color!!

OoMASEoO: I got "Its a 10 - with keratin" conditioner and my hair is soooo soft after bleaching, I use it like once a week. Love to hear what other stylists think of it and take other suggestions.

Bean party: I love the colours so awesome

Skylar: this is sooooo helpful glad i found ur channel

Rossamela: Great color! Instead of ruining your towels with bleach, you can use babywipes to clean your hands while you work on the hair;-)

Mishawna Romero: Outstanding Video !!!! You are the only teacher on YT who doesn't play distracting music in the background. Well done. Please don't change. I also appreciated how you told the true time of this service. Bravo!! Subscribing now.

Missy: In my opinion this is the best video doing ombre hair by now. Since about twenty years I dye my hair by myself because too many hairdressers failed in so many ways on my hair - and I am not even a complicate client. Really. However I dye it a long time now in a bloody red but got bored about it but also I don't want another colour. I mean any more natural would be more boring for me, also it is a nice contrast to my pale skin and last but not least it is like my trademark. However so my only option is working with one or two more shades and I find the ombre technique is prettier than just lowlights and highlights. So, what do you if you use to do things by yourself before? Right, watching YouTube and your video actually is the first that didn't scare me. I mean maybe I am wrong, I am not a hairdresser just have some skills but it scares me rubbing the colour or even bleaching against the growing direction into the hair or even worse to backcomb (tease) it into it. I mean normal backcombing itself is damaging enough and now I shall do it with bleach? As a woman with very long and extremely dyed hair what is so needful in haircare this technique really freaks me out and I am glad I found yours now because this is a technique I can befriend with - at least with the application because I am not a friend of packing it into foil but that is not relevant for me here.

Natasha Graves: Looks awesome!!!!

rae capital: Beautiful ladies. Beautiful work.

Ashley Russell: U did a beautiful job.

ASMR taylortube: Such a pretty result !!

Diana Lajtman: loved the hair before!!!

karyl505: I have had clients show me this video they are wanting the results on the thumbnail as their desired hair color. I end up in a 20 minute conversation rewinding the video to show them that the results were actually darker and that there’s a lot of lighting that went into the photo of the thumbnail. It’s so frustrating. It would be helpful if you could elaborate on how you got those ribbons of highlight in there when really there wasn’t any. And it was created with the lighting. Beautiful picture and it was a pretty result. It just wasn’t the same look from your selfie, the finish photo and then the polished thumbnail photo

Tammie Cowan: Ok wait... Freaking click bait!? Smdh the cover photo is beautiful dark to light, peachy type color ombre!?!? She covered it all up with red highlights!? Sorry I NEVER leave bad comments, but come on people, #StopTheClickBait #IfYouCantGetSubscribers -- #TheRightWayThenGetOff
