Hey everybody, i'm olivia, and this is my lovely model jennifer, i'm super excited because today we have an amazing new product for you. So this is the at home, hombre kit. What we're going to be doing today is we are going to be making the top of her hair pink and the bottom of her hair purple. The cool part about this kit is that it actually comes with both of the colors. It also comes with a little bit of lighter, but, as you can see, her hair is already pretty light. So i'm not going to need to use that part. I'M just going to be using the two different colors and i'm also going to show you a really cool technique so that when you get a nice blend in between the two, you don't have a really hard line, because we want our at-home colors to look like. It'S salon professional, hair color, so to get us started, we're going to need to prep our work station, we're going to have to cover everything with an old towel just because we're working with super vivid colors. So we want to make sure that we don't get anything walls the floor or anything like that and if you don't have a lovely cape at home, you can just wear an old t-shirt, something that you don't mind if it gets a little bit of color on It and like I said because we're working with a really vivid color we're going to have to go and protect her hairline with a little bit of vaseline and with that being said, I'm going to put on a pair of gloves so that my my hands do Not match her hair and I'm going to go ahead and get her prepped up. So we have our two colors here and, as we've decided we're going to go with the pink on tops and the purple on the bottom, and with these two bottles, I'm just going to give them a really good shake to make sure that they're all prepped and Ready to go and then I'm going to snip the top off with the scissors. Okay to start us off, I'm going to go ahead and apply my pink at the top. As we talked about, I want to have a pink to purple transition. So the very first thing I'm going to do is I'm going to apply the pink right up at the top to about halfway down and I'm going to kind of disregard the end you guys are going to see the little technique, I'm going to show you to Blend it in so, for this very moment, we're just going to apply it with a zigzag motion just take right up at the top okay. So, like I said, I have my pink applied all to the top like you can see, so the trick that I'm going to show you is what we're going to do, we're going to go ahead and take a call we're going to take the Wyatt toothed end Of the comb we're just going to work our color down just a little bit a little bit like this we're going to do that all over the head and when we're finished with that, what we're going to do is when we apply this, we're going to do That same big bag motion that I told you guys about and in between the two colors you're going to do this windshield wiper motion just like this. So that way you get a cool gradient between the two. So that's going to be the key tip. So that way the colors really really blend it, and it looks like you want to the salon, but really you just get about your house so check it out. I have her fully covered right now, as you can see, we have our nice purple ends here. The pink is vibrant on top, so we're going to let this sit in for 45 minutes. In that way, the hair can really really soak it in and then we'll be back with the final product so check this out. Louisa needs a salon. You can get this at home. This is hair color. That truly looks like the box. We have our amazing pink on the top, a beautiful violet at the bottom. We have a blend, it almost looks as if you paid $ 300 for it, but really we have this vibrant color that we can get by ourselves. You

Makenzie De Leon: Whats crazy is i did purple on top and pink on the bottom came out sooo amazing

AMANDA RANDOM: Just got this color! So doing it tonight! Great tutorial!

Katelynne Ritchie: I mix those together in one bottle it comes out a really beautiful purple!

Tessa Perigo: “Her hairs already pretty light”. SHE HAS WHITE HAIR LOL

xxx: I used a blue splat hair dye and it actually stayed in my hair for MONTHS longer than it said! Was my first time dyeing my whole head and it was such a striking color, and faded out into a cute shade, too!! Guess you could say I'm now a DYE-hard fan... (cricket)

cherryfairyy: I know splat gets a lot of hate.. Maybe you should use a different bleach if you wanna use a high quality bleach but ive actually really enjoyed most of the splat colors ive tried and i find they last long. This specific ombre kit i loooooove. Im trying the pink ombre one today (dark pink & lighter pink) . but i loooved my hair when i did the rain ombre kit

Krystal Cèlzan: I have had this hairstyle for spring break last year in 2017 and now I am going to re-do it light blue to dark blue with splat Also I tried another brand that was ion neon brights and it does not stay as long as splat does

Marlinnn: I want to dye my hair tips but I'm a beginner can you do a tutorial about doing the tips? I will appreciate so much

LaurensDesigns: I actually love this stuff! I was able to dye my hair with the bleach and I have brown hair. How do I get it dark on top tho and keep the light bottoms? I found it bled too much?

stan daddy Reigen: mixing the colors together is really pretty too

Tattastrophic Witch: That model looks like Harley Quinn.

Blue: I have a undercut comb over but I'm going to do purple roots with pink tips. I want to do it in a couple of months(Next year technically) beacuse I just got my natural hair back. Wish me luck.

Livy Chu: Try splat ocean on another model. Make the top teal and the bottom blue

Kaia Neylan: I bleached my hair a few months ago and it turned out yellow. Is it safe to still use the oxide before dying my hair?

Part-Time Hippie: Awesome video! I will be posting my splat hair video in the next couple days, wish me luck ❤️

Cindy Munroe: I live her hair!!yhis tutorial is THE BEST ON THEY HAVE I'VE BEEN TOO Scared all day to try but not now

Gemini Jpeg: please tell me she didn't need more bottles of dye because my hair is medium length and it's thick and I'm scared I won't have enough dye

amarie ww: I wish I could be in one of your vids! Super cool!

natalia: does it work on dark hair?

Samantha Knudtson: The last time I bought this hairdye box, the colors came out purple and blue. The dye was much darker than this video shows. I truly believe I bought a tainted box.

Lucas G: No one gonna talk about how stoned she looked getting her hair dyed

Misty Pogue: How do I keep it from bleeding when I rinse it out

Andromeda680: y'all have seriously dropped the ball in my eyes. I have used your color for a year with relatively few issues. however, this last box I bought, a purple / blue ombre called "dream", really jumped the shark. first, your bleach (despite ONLY applying to roots, not the rest of my hair which was color-treated with your products) mysteriously made my hair start breaking 2/3 through 1/4 and everything in between way down where the most color had faded out. so just rinsing the bleach through my ends in cold water for a few minutes was enough to make me start losing hair. I have bleached my hair damn near blue-white many times in my life for years on end, and never lost hair like this at any point. second, my hair was also breaking FROM THE ROOTS, which were only a brassy yellow (I have light-medium brown hair) at that point and definitely are not damaged. whatever was going on in this batch started making me lose healthy hair at the root. third, I just saw that I got the wrong instructions in my box. I got the single-color instructions for the ombre, which despite doing many times I still need the visual reference and explanation of the hair ties to do on the spot. finally, the product burnt the shit out of my scalp despite not being directly applied. this has never, ever happened to me before in 20 years of bleaching and dyeing my own hair. I left it on for 25 minutes, less than the 30 minutes explained in the directions. what volume bleach is in the dream kits?! I've safely used 40 many times with none of these issues and have not had this issue with your other colors (none of any ever disclose the bleach volume used). I can't imagine what happened with this box. so here I am on youtube watching a tutorial hoping I remember next door in the bathroom! great!

Style By Sandro: Does anyone else think the blonde looks awesome on her as well?

30katm: Can i go blonde from this now. Was naturally brown on top and had little blonde at ends which is now ombre pink Purple

Anna Floyd: I know splat catches heat but istg i tried lime crime which is more expensive and it always washed out quickly.

Paul Russell: She looks amazing

GamingWith Ruth: I got that exact hair dye

Brittni Dockery: I'm doin pink underneath n rest black which should I do first??

Mxrielys: it’s so vibrant!

stan daddy Reigen: That had to have taken 2 boxes of the color not just one

XxJessyxX: Do you do all of her hair with only one kit ?

Candace Donnan: But I am doing this by myself. I can't see th back of my head

Chicken Nuggets: Can you leave splat dye in your hair overnight

F Dort: It started out really well but you sped it up during the technique! That's what i wanted to see the most.

My uhhh: It looked better before.

Denise Mulrenin: How to use on short hair

Lyndoll Escamilla: But she don’t talk about how one box didn’t do her whole head!!!!

Carolina G: Yeah no. I just tried their blue and purple. I didn't use shampoo. I used 4, yes 4 boxes. My hair was completely saturated with the colors. I washed it and it all basically came off. Now I have instead of blue on the bottom, a teal and green with some stands blond and instead of purple I have lavender that is faded in some spots. I didn't use shampoo or conditioner, I just rinse with barely warm water. The tips are great but just get a better dye

Cameron Kutney: The bottles are so small, I kno she had to use at least 3 bottles of each color.

NeomaTheBat: This works if I reverse the colors, right? I want purple on top and pink on the bottom

zhade allen: she looks just like Harley Quinn!!!!

MisstressMourtisha: Your bleach fried my hair. Get it together.

Bell o: The model the whole time:
