Are you feeling good, hey guys, welcome back to my channel? I know it's been a while. I know you haven't seen me since vlogmas. I predicted this because i really put my blood, sweat and effort, and every ounce of you know strength in me to keep up with that vlogmas and now i'm burned out and tired and i took a break but i'm so sorry back again, i promise i have A solid plan in place to really make sure that i'm consistent moving forward, um okay! So today what i'm going to be showing you guys is this jumbo knotless braids with a bit of curls at the bottom? Now the thing that i love the most about this particular hairstyle is the parting. You know the triangles and the different shapes were going to be created. Pretty sure you got a chance to see the thumbnail, so you go to see the heart shape i'll, be showing you guys how to do that and i'll also be showing you guys how you know to spice up your parts. You know not everything has to be uniformed all the time. You know try something different and that's what we're going to be doing today so because we're going to be curling the hair, it's very important for us to tie a knot. The reason why i like to tie a knot is because it allows you to have uniform curls, or at least the starting point of where your curls start for each braids. It allows you to be able to measure that, because, if you don't curl the hair, the hair will unravel and you may not be able to have consistent like start point for your curls throughout every strand of braids. So it's important to have that demarcation there. Just to serve as a guideline for where you want your curls to start and that's what you see me doing so first, i tie a general knot and then i split it into two and i tie another knot to secure it and yeah you guys. So this is what we have so far, looking really cute, looking nice and pretty um. So i just kind of wanted to know like what's your favorite parting? Is it box parts? Is it triangle parts like? Are you like? You know what kind of part girl are you. I think that um box parts are great, but when it comes to large braids, i believe that triangle parts look the best um aesthetically for large braids. I don't like them too much on small braids. I feel, like the beauty, doesn't really come out that much, but it's it's like a nice little peekaboo if you wanted to do like triangle, parts on like a smaller medium okay, so this is where the heart becomes very, very intricate. Now, in order for me to get the nice size shape, like the big heart shape that i want, i'm gon na have to combine two rows together. So you see me doing right now. It'S just trying to determine where my roles are going to start and how the two sides are the two proportions of the rules i'm combining together if it's going to make sense. So if it's going to be practical for the size of heart that i'm trying to do as you can see, the second line is what i'm trying to figure out like how wide it's going to be. So now that i've determined that. So i combined those two lines together drew a very nice straight line and that side of her head. Now from that straight line, i now decided to draw a diagonal line going upwards um to create that arch of the heart shape. If that makes sense now on the left side, i have more of a longer diagonal line, whereas on the right side i did a shorter line because it's closer to the hairline, so you don't want it to be too long. So then, i proceed to go ahead and give it that arch from that diagonal line just to curve it out, and then i round it up to the um top here and i guess the tip of the ears just to give it that nicely rounded heart shape That we all love and that you guys are absolutely obsessed with and you all need to be arrested and sued in court for this hardship. Whoever started this, i have questions but anyways back to the tutorial, so um go ahead and round it off. On the other side - and that is it you guys, i absolutely do not like hearts um. I think it's fun. I think it's, i think it's a fun. Okay, okay, i think it's childish, that's the truth! I think it's childish. I think it is um. It'S for kids, no, but it's cute, but i just think that it's not much. I don't know. Let me not. Let me not be a hater. It'S cute, you guys are cute. You guys are adorable love it for you all anywho after you have drawn your heart. Go ahead and cut your next line from the midpoint of that heart and proceed on to the other side of the head, so this was very interesting because i didn't know what i was doing. This is the first time i ever did like a heart thing. After being like pretty much assaulted online with the visuals of this heart everywhere, so i decided to try it out for myself and it's you know it wasn't that hard um. I felt like it just takes a bit of patience and you really have to have a plan like okay after you, you've drawn your heart. What other shapes are you going to create? How are you going to you know redirect the um parting back to your. You know original it's just whatever i'm just i'm rambling, but um anyways. I was thankfully able to bring it back and you know take it back to that triangle, parts from the bottom row. However, when i got to the top row, i really really wanted to create, like other fun shapes, that's why you see like a circle there and like another funky shape next to it, because i just wanted it to be fun. I kind of felt it was boring like after drawing such a magnificent heart, and you want to go back to like triangle triangle triangles, so i decided to switch it up from here on up and i absolutely loved how this hair turned out. It was very unexpected. It was very cute, very different and yeah, just playful and fun. So obviously, when you create your heart shape, it's going to kind of mess up the different other shapes you're going to create um from the top. So i decided to you know: just have fun with it and make it spunky and funky and decided to do some like zigzag lines up top and it turned out super duper cute. I absolutely love the result: um and yeah. It'S such a vibe. Usually i'm such a stickler for like having like consistent and like organized shape from start to finish, but this was very nice. It was a very welcomed um. What i see a very welcome, disorganization, okay, so now we're gon na proceed on to curling the hair. Now you can use whatever size rolls. You want, depending on the type of curl pattern, that you're going for just keep in mind that the bigger the rod, the looser the curl pattern, the smaller the rod, the tighter the curl patterns. So if you don't want like a really tight spiral, you know juicy curl. You can opt for like a bigger size rod, so you can have a loose. You know fun, bouncy curl, so it's just whatever you want at that point. So you can have fun with it and do whatever you want, or you could just simply burn the ends which would have been cute too um. So now we're just trimming the hair just to get off any flyaway hairs that we have. You can either use a pair of scissors, which i recommend two parts, so you can use a pair of scissors and go over it with like a blow dryer to melt all the strands that you weren't able to get or you can just yeah. You can't really skip so i feel like blow. Dryer is just like what you use to um cross check your work, so every strand that you missed with a pair of scissors, you kind of are able to get them with the blow dryer. So you don't want to skip trimming and use the blow dryer. I don't recommend that i think it's lazy and it's going to show in your work so now we're just dipping the hair in hot water. What this is going to do is it's going to really give us that um secure the curl curl pattern that we created with the rods? It'S also going to loosen up the braids that you have a bit of mobility and movements and yeah. The steam is also very very great for your scalp just to relieve a bit of tension that will, you know, you've had from all the gripping and braiding and all that stuff. So yeah, you guys um. This is like literally my best part of braiding when you're finishing, because the process is so long that when you just when you're done you're just so happy it's over with and it's just like yeah um. So now i'm just taking out the perm rods and then i'm going to trim the ends just to make sure that all the curls are even at the bottom. And this is the final look. I hope you guys really enjoyed this tutorial, because i enjoyed filming and doing this hairstyle for you guys. It'S been a while, since i've actually done hair um, but it was just fun to go back and just do something cute and something fun and different for a change, and it was, it was welcomed. It was nice um. Thank you guys so much for watching make sure you like and subscribe, and share this video and i'll catch. You guys on our next video have a merry day, and god bless you
