Hello lovelies and welcome back to another client series video, so we're gon na jump straight into this video, like always so today, we're installing a 24 inch curly unit um. So this is exciting because i haven't installed any curly hair in a while on myself or on a client, so it was nice to step away from the you know straight middle part, vibes for a while. So what you see me doing here is i'm just carving out her hairline, because this wig was big for her um. The hairline came a little lower and it just didn't make sense like when we was pulling it back, so it only made sense to put it forward and then pluck out what we needed to pluck out. Normally, when i customize my units, i don't pluck too far back so i did have to go in and pluck the areas that i didn't pluck previously and with me, when i install, i always like to make sure that, like the sides are matching like that's, usually The main point for me i like to make sure the sides matching and then i'll just pluck out whatever needs to get plucked out in the middle. So once i've plucked everything, i'm just double, checking making sure everything's matching up everything's aligned and of course it is sweetie. Of course it is so because this unit was m slightly bigger for her head. I did add an elastic band to it, but i decided to just keep the lace on the side tab. So i cut off the lace in the center and then i just kept the lace on the side tabs. So, let's get into the hair. Do you guys see how nice this hair is? I believe this unit's density is around 150 or 180 i'll double check and i'll make sure all their wig details are in the description box, but this hair is so soft, like it had such a minimal shedding during, like my prep process before my client, when i Uh bleached the nuts plucked and conditioned the unit the hair was just so so soft and so easy to work with, like even in its dry state. It was just so easy to work with. I'Ve had kinky curly hair from icy hair before this is their deep curly m texture and still it's still like it still held. The quality like everything is still as good as i remember it being previously so yeah. I definitely recommend this hair guys. The only thing i would say is the lace it did come very, very ashy um. It wasn't very thick. So that was a bonus, but it was very ashy. I was recommended to use a lace tint but, as you can see, it left more of a it left more of a yellow deposit on the hair and i would never be using that lace tint again ever in life. But luckily you see me later on tint. The lace again and it matches her complexion perfectly so when you're doing hair, don't worry about making mistakes because guys we all make them it's just about knowing how to correct them and how to make the finishing look chef's kiss. So once i've got all my lace cut and i'm happy with it, i just go in with my bold hold active. This is my go-to glue. I always use my boldhold active. It works on my clients that are very you know on the go very active and it works on my clients, but i just natural sweaters, like some people, just get all hot and frustrated in the nighttime and yeah it works for them. It holds them down. So this is my go-to glue, so what i do is when i initially install, i just spread the glue through the center and i'd pick a side. So this time i chose to go on my left. I just spread the glue from the center all the way down to the side, and i go through about three layers. So i do about three layers and i make sure that in between each layer, i don't let the glue dry, i just let the glue glue dry at the end before applying the lace. A lot of people ask me why i did this. I'Ve seen a girl on tik tok um, do this method and from from trying out this method, a lot of my clients have been like my wig lasted days like a lot of my clients, wigs last so much longer. When i don't let the glue dry in between layers so try it out, let me know how you guys um - and here you see me just pressing the lace into the glue. It'S really important that you make your lip your glue dry before pressing your lace down, because that way, it's not gon na you know come through the lace. It'S just gon na sit and melt nicely into the glue. So i did the other side off of camera and my battery was dying and it was just it was a shambles, a whole shambles. So yeah my battery died. So i didn't record that um, i didn't record doing the right side, but i'm just going in with just a simple elastic band. You can find this at like a craft store or beauty supply store, and i just wrap it around her head, but it's got ta. Be tight guys like when you wrap it. It needs to be tight because you need that lace to be melting because it is curly hair, i'm not trying to make it overly flat, and i don't want to overly press out the roots. So i just went in with a little bit of um my wax stick and a little bit of hairspray and i'll just go through and do my regular um hot comb, and even if you do want your hair to be like very big, like voluminous. If you do have curly hair, i would still definitely recommend go in with your hot comb, because it just makes your wig lay a lot flatter and a lot nicer like it's just just look at it. This is the hair. After taking the um band off and hot combing, all around tell me it's not giving tell me it's not giving. Obviously the lace hasn't been tinted again yet, but sis tell me it's not giving i'm just cutting off the extra lace that we left on and then i'm going to go in and use glue on the back of my hand and just add a little bit to The um, the metal tip of my comb and just and just push the glue where it needs to be. I can get hella precise with the m tip of my comb, so i just go in with that. So this was the part i was talking about. So i used i'm a slayer based smeared lace, tint um in the column in the color mocha, and this is her darker shade. So i didn't want to do too much layers, because obviously my client she's just like a light, a light brown shade and look how much better that mouse guys. You can see the difference between the side, that's being tinted and the side that hasn't been printed like the lacing was so much better than the one i got recommended previously so yeah i was. I was happy that i found this lace tint and i had it so my camera did die at the end of this recording process and i didn't even realize so. I switched out my battery super super fast and i managed to just get the finished. Look for you guys, if you guys do, want a detailed video with baby hairs. Don'T forget to like this video, but guys. Thank you guys for sitting in on the sleigh and i'll see you guys in my next video bye,
