Watch Me Finesse This Pink Nicki Minaj Wig *Ft Isee Hair*

It is what's up you guys, i sounded so weird so today by the title. I'M gon na be making a wig and i'm very excited because y'all know i feel, like i make wigs all the time on this channel, but it's one of my favorite things to do. I feel like i really like switching up my look and like trying out different colors and stuff, but at the moment you guys know my favorite favorite color is pink and you can see by my nails. My nails are pink and i really like, when my nails match my outfit and my hair, so i think we're going to be doing pink today. I wanted to do kind of a beginner's guide, i'm still a beginner guys. I'Ve been making wig not making them, but like coloring them and installing them for maybe two or three years, and i'm still pretty bad at it. I'M not gon na lie i've gotten better over the years. I feel like you do need a lot of like tools and supplies when you want to install wigs the hair we are working with today. We do have a sponsor, i see hair and it is an aliexpress brand. They were nice enough to send me this unit. So shouts out to them, i did take a peek at it, but i haven't officially opened it. I did get 613 hair and 613 hair is my favorite favorite hair to work with, obviously, because i can color it and do a lot of fun things with so right in the package. This is what it looks like, as y'all can see, is a long beach. I love bob units, but every now and then i love to pop out with them and choose girl, i'm feeling it i'm feeling the energy okay. The summer is just popping off. So oh, they threw a wig cap in here. For me, thank the lord not only to buy one tomorrow so and the package this is their information right here - is all their socials i'll. Let it focus on me real quick, but of course i will leave all the links down in the description y'all and they also sent me these eyelashes, so shout out to icy hair. So let's get into this hair real quick. So this is malaysian hair, 150 density. It says right here on the label: it's 13 by 4 closure. So this is what it looks like god damn this is mad long sheesh! It'S soft though so this is what the hairline looks like up close guys and then the inside the back. It just has the clips, of course it has the four clips. I love that very necessary. You don't want your wig flying off, while you're riding a jet ski, okay or riding anything else. Very much giving me nicki, minaj energy y'all have y'all heard her new album. Her new mixtape, i got a text message. Her [ __ ] just had me on some bad [ __ ] energy lately, so i was like i got. Ta do the inches i got to. I got ta. Do it for nicki i'm gon na do like the majority of it like light, baby, pink and then maybe just like the tips i'll do the hot pink and maybe like some streaks of it hot pink. I'M not sure. I really don't know how i want to push this wig today, we're just going to be doing the coloring and then tomorrow will be the install. So i'm going to show you guys the hair dyes that i'm going to be using. So i just went to my local beauty supply and i picked up a few of these babies, so this is in the color soft lavender, oh [, __ ]. It almost fell, and then i have this in petal pink. So i'm gon na be mixing these two together for the baby, pink shade that will be on the roots and then for the darker pink shade. I have these two hair dyes by kiss one is in hawaiian fire and this is in pink obsession and i'm gon na set everything up and i will be right back. Okay, babies, i'm on the floor now i just laid out some trash bags, so i wouldn't like stay in the floor or anything you got ta protect the nails y'all. I just got my nails done. I don't wanna mess them up. So i'm about to mix these two colors one is soft lavender and one is petal pink. Oh hell! No bro! This [ __ ] looks mad dark whoa, it's like purple, so i decided to do a test strip on the bottom of the hair and make sure it was going to be too dark. So ultimately, i decided i wanted to go even lighter, so i added some conditioner and mixed it in with the hair dye to get a really light baby pink. The hair dyes i was using were a really warm tone pink and i decided i wanted to do a little bit more of a cool tone almost purple. So i decided to throw in just like a little splash of blue hair dye that i just had lying around and i think that really transformed it into like the perfect, like bubblegum, pink color. So now comes the fun part, applying the hair dye all over the wig and making sure you don't miss any spots. Okay guys so it kind of took me a little while the sun went down, but i covered most of the wig with this first kind of pink color and it's a little like purplish pinkish. So i'm hoping when it washes out. It comes out a little more pink than purple, but if it comes out this color i wouldn't mind either. I think it's pretty cute, so i'm gon na take this color. It'S called pink obsession and i'm just going to add like a little touch. Y'All can see. I left the ends kind of blank except for this color, because just like testing the colors out in the ends, because obviously they're going to be darker, so um yeah, i tried to leave the ends pretty bare. So then, i could add a little bit of this to make it just a touch of like ombre like nothing crazy. So i'm just gon na add a little bit to what's left of my little concoction over here, maybe like that much like literally the tiniest bit ever so once we mix that up it's going to create sort of a hot, pink color and we're going to add That just to the ends of the wig to create that ombre effect that we want then we're just gon na wash it out in the bathtub, and it's gon na create this really pretty like pink bath water, okay, baby. So it is now a few days later. So i allowed the wig to dry completely here she is. This is what it looks like it's like bubble gum like kind of rock star pink, oh, ignore kimchi. In the background, kimchi she's eating her foot. If y'all see up close, it's kind of like streaks, not a very solid color, which is not what i expected, because i was being so diligent with it like look guys like it's a very subtle gradient like just like the tips, i guess are a little bit Darker or like more pink and the top is just like a little bit lighter. I want the top to be like really really light. I guess it's fine, like it's still a cute wig. We are about to finesse this baby right here and we have a lot of work to do. Okay, y'all, so let's go ahead and get started. The first thing i'm gon na do is braid my hair back as i usually do so. My hair is freshly washed. It'S just like my natural hair. It'S like it has a weird texture to it, so i'm gon na go ahead and split it down the middle. I usually do two braids. The part doesn't have to be perfect or anything like that. We'Re just gon na secure the braid with a little tiny rubber band. My second braid came out kind of [ __, ] up and then bobby, pin them down, i'm going to just take a edge brush and some gel we're gon na just push our edges back because it is a light wig. You don't want any of the black hair um poking through or your natural hair yo. I got a [ __ ] pimple on my forehead. Do you see it like? What is that we're just gon na put our wig cap on go around the back and bring it forward and we're gon na bring it all the way down to our eyebrows. But do you see my eyelash extensions, [ __ ] popping popping? I don't want to hear it. I can't see we're going to take our god. Soupy glued freeze spray y'all, you need this in your life. I use this for everything, so we're gon na spray, this right on our hairline. For this part, y'all are gon na need your blow dryer, okay, y'all. So this side seems to be good. If you have to go in with a second coat. Don'T be shy, put some more okay guys, so it's pretty much dry, so low-key. That is the longest part of the wig installed. The rest goes by pretty quick aside from styling the actual hair. So first things. First, you want to cut this band off cut it all the way up to where your hairline is at. I want to like peel it back a little bit if you glued it a little too far down. You can just peel it up a little bit and then just continue to cut it off. You want to cut your little ears out, okay, guys so now that we got the peanut going on now we're about to try on the wig. Oh, my god, it's so bright! I'M gon na tie up half of the wig just so i can get the hair out of the way and actually see what the [ __ ]. I'M doing. Sorry i keep looking over here guys, i'm sorry if that's annoying, but i'm just trying to see in the mirror, so we're gon na flip the lace back. So the glue i use is the ghostbond platinum, a little drop like dot and then just dot it right along, basically where the wig cap ends and your skin begins, because you do want to stick it to your skin and not the wig cap. I put a lot here on the sideburns. You want to make sure it's not going to go anywhere. This glue does act pretty quickly, like you have to move quickly with it because it does dry quickly and then once this dries no good and you do want like no lumps in it. So you kind of want to like smooth it out with a rat tail comb. Oh now we're going to act quickly, y'all, quick, quick, and you want to stick it down not so far, which is right where you put that line of glue. So i'm just gon na hold down the sideburns for like a minute or two. You want to make sure everything is sticking, but you really want to make sure those sideburns is not gon na move on you y'all, okay, so i'm actually going to start cutting this lace because which i cannot see okay y'all, so this part could get a little Tricky you want to cut around your ear. You want to get this extra lace off down here by your sideburns and then start going upwards around your ear. I already did this ear, so you want to try to cut around the ear okay, so i was able to cut it off. I will say that this wig definitely needs some plucking. I'M gon na go ahead and take this down, so we can brush it out and start styling it. I usually do the baby hairs last. Look how cute guys, i feel like a little like fairy tale like princess, is so long guys like look at these inches inches. Another thing i wanted to mention guys the method i used to dye the wig. I actually did dye the lace as well. It'S kind of really hard to tell, but some parts of the lace like can y'all see it right here, a little bit that they did end up getting pink. I don't think it's like a big deal or anything, but just a heads up for you guys. Okay guys so i tried to do a little plucking and try to fix it up a little bit, but i do have another trick up my sleeve, but first we need a hot comb y'all very crucial. I used to try to lay wigs without a hot comb and it literally makes the biggest difference y'all. I got this for like 13 at my local beauty supply, so highly recommend guys. So while that is heating up, i think i'm going to take some foundation as y'all could see the lace down. The middle is very white. I'M trying to take a thin brush like so and try to dab some foundation in the middle and on the edges, so it just looks a little bit more. Like my skin tone. Y'All i'm gon na take a light powder. It'S like swirling it in the foundation. Like this and then i'm just dabbing it, it's actually making a difference. So for some reason i lost the clip of me um hot combing, the top of my hair, but i started off just doing the loose waves with this slim flat iron. So i basically just twist it around and creates these really cute little like kind of curls kind of waves, okay baby, so i am finishing up now with the hair, i'm just on this last little section, but so far it's looking really cute with the curls. So it's looking like this, so they did drop to be just these like loose waves. I'M just gon na finish up this last section and just kind of like touch it up a little bit, maybe do some baby hair. Is this even on oh [, __ ] turned off i'm dead. This gives you like the really cute like loose wave kind of look just want like a little bit more like volume up here. I'M gon na go in again with this hot comb. This [ __ ] gets really hot guys, [ __ ] we're looking cute okay, so we need to do some baby hairs like right here on the side, a little bit pull some hair down literally the tiniest little bit guys take this razor like one of these Little like shady things and we're gon na cut our baby hairs. We are going to take the edge brush, just put it in some gel swoop them down like how you normally would okay babies. I think we're done i'm kind of obsessed. I think it looks really good, so i think we're just gon na finish it off with some got to be free spray, so the curls kind of stay and don't frizz up or don't fall throughout the day, especially since, because i'm gon na be wearing these tomorrow. On my flight, i need this [ __ ] to look good y'all. I feel like i'm really giving like just like nikki barb energy right now i sprayed my eyeballs yeah, guys big, shout out to icy hair for sending me this wig guys. Don'T forget, it was the malaysian straight hair and it actually grasped the color really well guys like do you see like throughout the entire way. There is not a single part of the wig that does not have hair dye on it guys. So this is what it looks like, so it is completely dyed. Yes, guys, i'm living, it's really easy to style. It was like very minimal shedding. Like honestly, i am living for this unit. Yes, shout out to icy hair for sending me this unit.
