Hey guys welcome back to my channel, so today i'm gon na be making a video all about um, this hair um, it's from icy hair and it's a mongolian kinky, curly, um and they're bundles. I have it in his toe in it's like the flip over method. This is my leave out right here, um and for starters, i'm like really disappointed in this hair. Like i just i had a really high hopes for it, and you know it's been a while that i've had have had in it. Just really didn't live up to the expectations that i had so for starters: um, i'm gon na talk about the shipping and packaging, so it took about a week to come in um. I ordered it on. I think it's saturday and it came in um that friday. So you know that was pretty decent um the shipping um, not the shipping, the packaging. It came in um like a bubble, mailer um and then inside of it was like this and inside of this, let me show you um. Each bundle is packaged up like this and they're sorted by their length um. I had a tiny bit of the oh. No, this is a 22 inch. My stylus just put it in the wrong bag, but um yeah, so they're packaging like this. Like this, you do get eyelashes, but the eyelashes are ugly, so um. You know that. That'S that so, first off the way i'm going to be reviewing. This hair is similar to the way um chade watkins um refused her hair um by the different categories and stuff. So, first off i want to talk about um, texture, um. The texture of this hair is actually really really nice, like the curl pattern, is really really pretty and it matches my hair like really really well like this right here is my hair. This is my hair, then this is the um. The the bundle like it matches really really well so yeah. The texture is really great. It'S soft, bouncy and fluffy. So i i do really like that. Um another thing is color. I haven't bleached his hair, but i have dyed it. I dyed it jet black to match my hair and it took the color pretty well and what else so i don't apply heat to this hair, so i don't know how heat would um affect it. Um and let's see what else tangling and shedding so this hair sheds a lot uh every time you wet it brush it or wash it you're gon na get a lot of shedding like a lot of shedding by the end of like, i feel like by the End of the three months that i'm planning on having this sew-in in for i'm probably gon na, have like a whole half a bundle just out from just shutting. The hair doesn't tangle that much like it tangles, but it's very easily brushed out and stuff and at the same time it's curly hair, so tangling and shedding is expected. But with this hair the tingling is normal, but the shedding is abnormal like it's way too much. Um, oh and i, if i did not say this before i bought the um grade 10a here mind you. This is going to be important later on, because this is this is why i'm so heated about this hair. So i got the grade grade 10a, hair right. Okay, so aside from the the um, the texture, if it takes color, if it takes heat um, another thing is the longevity i feel like with proper maintenance. This hair could last you a like a good. You know a year or two. I have like all my wigs and bottles that i buy always last me at least two years like i just i just remade a wig with that mongolian deep curly from icy hair 2 um like literally last week, and that's my third wig that i made from That, like um, sometimes like i made it short like actually like shorter than this um and i've you, i reuse the hair and it's almost been like two and a half years since i've had it so proper maintenance and care. I feel like this hair can. Last you a really long time, so, let's get on to the reason why i'm really mad about this hair or like really disappointed. So i, before like, i bought in deep curly, bundles kinky, curly, bundles um body wave and straight hair from i see here and i've. Never really had an issue um, except with that lace front where i got y'all know about that. If y'all watched my other um wig review, but i was really excited about this hair um. I was really excited about it because i've seen so many people get it. You know because i got me a short little bob or something before, but i wanted long long hair and i wanted it to be good quality and i wanted to be just. I wanted it to be perfect. So i splurged and i got the 10a and i got it in a 22 24 and two 26s right um and i'm at so that came out to over um like 300 dollars and where is the length? Where is the length? Where is the length like? That'S that's what i'm asked like i'm asking: where is the length like this is hitting me like a 20 22 inches 22 inches at max right and i understand shrinkage. I understand that kinky curly hair, especially it's not going to be as long as like a straight wig 26 inches like that is 26 inches, and i completely understand that, because i'm natural myself - and this is what my natural hair looks like - and it has literally like Why would i pay 300 because, like all i have to do, is cut this off right here, and this is what my natural hair looks like and i feel like for 300 dollars, like i'm buying extensions, because i want my hair to be down to my butt. Um, so when i, when the bundles arrived, they looked like normal bundles like the ends weren't thin, the um hair looked full, it was really soft, um and also you know. When you take bundles out of the package like straight of the pack, you shouldn't really judge them, because they're probably not going to look like that, and i knew that i wanted to wash them condition and brush them, style them, etc. And then i would know what my final result would look like, um, so yeah. I do that i wash them condition them dye them um, while they were still in their little. You know bundles and stuff, and i put some product in it: um a leave-in conditioner and a light hole gel just because i wouldn't i wasn't installing it at that moment. So i didn't want to, you, know, have product build up on it and the curls looked good, so i was really really excited, so i get it installed. Um, like i said, a flip over method. That is way too tight uh. It is so tight, like the girl that did my hair. Like it's nice, it's a little bulky up here, but you know overall, like it, she did what she had to do, but it is so tight, like girl. My edges are going to be gone by the time i take this out. You know they're suffering, but that's beside the point, so i get it installed and you know right off. The bat like i could tell like something was really off um. The ends were very, very, very thin, and what i mean then, like i don't know you know how like, when you hold up like like this. You see this like how thick this is and how it like gets a little bit thinner at the end. Like okay, fine but the bundles on the 24 and the 26s, they all looked like this thin. Like i'm trying to show you this thing for the last four inches of the of the bundle - and i was so upset because you pay that extra money for the for the 10a and you know 24 and 26 inches of hair for it to be long for It to be thick for it to be dense for it to be. You know completely thick from root to tip um, and i was just i was just like, like i don't know like. I don't think this is gon na work out. So i get home and i re-wash it read deep condition it um restyle it completely and the ends are still so raggedy and at this point, like i said like i know, i got a 22 inch and the 22 inch is actually really true to length like It'S like up top right here, and this is a 22 inches right here. This is where the 22 inch is, and that's you know, that's fine whatever, but i got 24 and a 26 inch, so why? Why are they almost the same length like that shouldn't like that shouldn't? Be i'm sorry like that shouldn't just it's not adding up to me, like the calculations are not um air. You know the calculator is saying error. The numbers are not matching up, you know, so i have to end up. I end up cutting four inches almost on all the bundles um, probably except the 22 inch just because it was like at the bottom. So i have to cut off four inches of the hair because it's so thin and it's so dry and no matter what i put on it um it just like the curls would not hold like. I would style it. It would dry completely, and even just even just doing like this, the the um curl at the end will completely straighten like it would. It would go from like a curl like this, and when i would go like this, it was like a yaki straight. Texture like the curls at the end would not hold, and it was just really disheartening because you know you spend so much time researching hair and you spend so much money on hair. You know - and you have this image in your head and for you not to get that like it's really frustrating and you're, probably thinking jesse, why are you overreacting about hair and it's just the fact that, like this hair is like over 300 and i spent 190 190 to get it installed and when you spend that much money on something you want it to look how you imagined it like. I thought when i ordered 20 24 and 26 inch hair. I expected it to be at least to the top of my waist. You know what i mean like waist length hair. That'S what i imagined like i didn't think i was going to get shorter length hair. You know what i mean and i feel like it's just really annoying like. If you go on there like on well most most um hair companies are like that, but you know the price increases from length to length, so i have to cut off four inches like if i would have just ended up getting all four 22 inches. I would have saved like an extra 80 dollars, but no but now, but now so yeah like like. I think if you want this length like if this is a look that you're going for, definitely get this here, because it's soft, it's really really nice and after i cut it like you could literally feel and see the curls like springing back to life like it Was it was crazy? How much cutting those four inches off made this hair look so much better like so much better um yeah like the curls stay so much longer. It'S it's softer like it's way easier to style and, like i feel like those ends, were really weighing the hair down. So if i don't suggest getting this hair, if you want really really long hair, but if you want like like this natural looking length like because this is like right right, where my boob starts like right here, like if you're looking for this like this, would be Perfect definitely recommend it, but if you're looking for a longer length like 26 inches, i would not recommend this hair at all, and i also think that you should just don't even worry about buying the grade 10a hair because i've every other hair that i bought from Them is 9a and it's like the quality is the exact same. So don't waste the extra money on a grade 10, a hair. Just don't even do it like it's, not even worth it um. You know that's just my opinion and so the other aspect of it was um. I definitely don't skimp out on the products that i use on this hair, like i don't use like crappy products on this hair um to wash and condition in deep condition. I use the garnier fructis um shampoo and conditioner the the original one, the fortifying shampoo and conditioner, and that works really really good on this hair like it makes it super soft and it cleans out really really well and then for a deep conditioner. I use silicone mix um the bamboo one, because the other one smells like um garbage and then on this hair. I'Ve used quite a few different products. I use this um on jockeys curlalot, defining curl custard, and this works really good on the hair um, and i really like this and then i used also used a lot of body, moisture, moisture, moisturize me curling style milk, and this works really good on the hair And then this also works really good, but i would not use this by itself like it's not going to give you any hold it just moisturizes, my hair for me personally. But if you combine this, if you like the wet look like, i don't like the wet look. But if you, if you want the wet look, i definitely suggest using this and a mousse and a gel and you'll definitely get it because this is just a little bit of moisture, but not anywhere near as much as the other other products and for the gels That i used um, i didn't want anything super heavy because, like i said, i don't like the wet look like. I want big hair like as big as possible, and this is like day one here by the way, like i washed my hair earlier this morning and diffused it, and this is what it looks like um but anyways. I use the fantasia icy, hair, polisher styling, gel and um the garnier for tea sleek and shine anti-frizz serum. So i use any like any one of these and then i go in with the gel and then i go in with this serum just on the ends and then, like i said um, i use a tiny bit of this in the shower after i wash out My conditioner, you know just just a tiny bit and then i go in with my other styling products. So yeah that's pretty much it. I think the hair is actually pretty good, but at the same time, if you're looking to buy this hair, don't waste your time or money on getting the 10 grade. 10A. Just don't stick with the 9a. The 10a is really not worth it at all. In my opinion, and then, if you want a longer length, i don't suggest buying this hair, and i just want to preface this by saying. I understand that this is kinky curly hair and that it's like shrinkage is a really big factor. But it's the fact that i had four inches of hair that i had to come cut off because they were super super thin, dry and straggly and looked really really ugly. So that's four inches of hair that i paid for that. I had to cut off because they were just no, it was just really bad um and, besides that, they were just not even true to length, because even with the four extra inches that i had to cut off, they still like were not was not even like Giving what i needed it to give, so my final thoughts are stick with the 9a and if you want anything over 24 inches, don't even worry about it like just go somewhere else. Um me personally, i suggest and highly recommend the curly hair by luxury luxury dresses by fab, they're 3c curl, their bundles and then they're 4a curls curly bundles, are amazing, true to length and really really full um root tip. So i definitely think you should try that out if you're looking for the really really long lengths of hair, so yeah that's pretty much all i have to say, i hope you guys enjoyed and i'll see you guys in my next video.
