How To: Easy Highlights On Wig// Isee Hair

All right so we're just going to start off by taking this bw2 bleach. You can get this off amazon and i also have the 20 volume developer. Now you want to start with the 20 volume, with the base of the hair. Lift you don't want to come out the gate with 40 volume developer um now, as you can see, i'm just testing the consistency of consistency, consistency of the bleach and the volume developer. You don't want it to be too tacky, but also not too runny. Just a perfect blend and um, that's exactly what i'm doing today now next, you just want to split the hair in half work, your way from the bottom, to the top trust me, it makes it way more easier, less overwhelming you know, especially if this is your First time really uh bleaching and dyeing hair, especially on a mannequin um. Now, i'm actually seeing and trying to measure how far up i want the bleach to go in my mind, i wanted to create a u-shape, so have more highlights on the sides going down into a lower. U working my way up to the other side foreign, so so, once you hit this part, you will see that the u shape is starting to form because we're going to go up more towards the roots, with the highlight, as you can see, um creating. You know those highlights around the face area, which is very important and in this particular style and what i wanted to achieve. So, if you want highlights closer to your face, i definitely do recommend this method. So with the folio, you always want to fold the top portion before you put it up under the hair, all right so with the uh highlighter part. You just want to go in an up down up down motion uh, more of like a zigzag, and then you split the hair apart and the top piece is the part that you highlight now: here's the split and you take that top piece put the foil under Now it's very important that uh you coat the uh piece evenly because you don't want to have patchy highlights you know um and also make sure you're using 40 volume developer. For this. You don't want to use the 20 because right now you're trying to create a process of highlight, so you want to go a little more bit more up and stronger with the developer, which is from a 20 to a 40.. Now uh, you can place the highlights wherever you want. I did four sets of highlights on each side and then i randomly chose highlights in the back in the middle. Just to add that can that consistency of the highlight highlighted pattern now, i'm just going to fast forward and come back to you guys when i need to speak so do so so so do do so now i actually had to go back in and re-highlight uh. Some of the sections, because i didn't leave it on long enough, but no worries it worked out perfectly, and this is the final result.
