How To: Color Blue Hair Orange!! Hair Color Change On A Wig How To Switch Your Wig Color!

Hi guys and welcome to my channel, it's your girl, leilani love and today we're taking this beautiful blonde and blue unit, and we are turning it into a whole new vibe. So if you want to know how to color a wig a whole new color make sure you stay tuned, so, as you can see here, the wig is uh. I started it out as like a silver white and blue um kind of 14 inch layer cut. The ladies, she wants to turn her wig into a new unit. She'S, not she doesn't really feel the blue anymore, so we're going to be doing a ginger haircut, a ginger spice kind of haircut color. So basically, i am starting out by cutting the hair just cutting off the bulk of the hair. This is a dry cut right now only to cut off the bulk. The reason i'm cutting off the bulk is because i don't want to waste product lightening or removing color on hair. That'S not going to be there anymore, so it makes no sense to keep this hair now, usually, when you are doing a haircut, it should be wet. The only reason this is not a wet cut is because i'm just taking off bulk, so this is just like a rough draft of my haircut. This is not the final cut. Okay, guys, if you're not experienced with cutting, i definitely recommend you wet the hair down and cut it so that you can get a straight line. But for me i can pretty much just eye things and i kind of know where i'm going with it. So you know if you're not experienced with cutting, definitely wet the hair first, all right, so we pretty much have our shape and our cut. Now i'm going to start with the color remover today, i'm using the l'oreal color remover. You can use this with hot water or developer i'm using developer, because i want to take this color out quick, so i can get it back in there. I do not recommend you using 30 volume developer. Unless you have a license or your experience, you can really damage hair by using a high developer um. I definitely it this stuff works with water, so you can definitely use water and put a little conditioner in it. Do whatever you have to do to protect your hair, especially a wig, if you're coloring, a wig for somebody else, some of this hair can be very expensive and not putting conditioner in it or using too high of a developer can actually ruin the hair, make it Dry split the ends, so this is something that you have to be very, very careful with, so i just made my mixture put it in. Let it sit for a while about 10 to 15 minutes. I never walked away from it. I stayed right there with it. The whole time just so, i could see when the blue was out enough, because this product works really fast and quickly. So this is not something that you just let it sit on there and leave and walk away. You definitely have to keep your eyes on it. So now i'm gon na go in now that i've washed out the hair and everything i'm gon na go in with the cajun spice from kiss colors. This is um, definitely a great brand to do watercoloring with i'm doing watercolor, because i know she is not going to keep this color for a long time. So once this color fades out, i'm pretty sure she's going to be coloring, um coloring in another color or getting another color. That'S why i'm doing the watercolor method? Besides that, i love to hand paint, and i would rather paint this by hand, but this serves the purpose alrighty. So we got her wash clean, conditioned new color. Do y'all see how vibrant this color is. Though, can you believe this is the same wig yeah? So if you have a preference of what you like seeing feel free to leave it in the comments below now back to this wig, so basically i'm just going to be pinning her down and we're going to start styling, the um, the young lady, who wants this, Whose wig this is once a side part bob, so i'm gon na actually just comb the hair into the shape that i want it to be, and i'm gon na, let it just air dry. I prefer to let hair air dry after i've used any harsh chemicals on it. Just to help keep the hair in the you know, tip top condition if you're going to blow dryer, try not to put it on the highest setting. But if you have time, let it air dry now, i'm just going to go in with my sheers and just finish up my cut being that the hair is wet. It'S nice and sleek. You want to make sure you comb out the hair as you're, cutting it and just make sure that you're keeping your line as straight as possible. I like to use the bottom of the mannequin head or the lines around the bottom of the mannequin head to kind of be. My guide also be sure that you're cutting against a flat surface um. I had a plastic bag on my mannequin um, underneath the wig, which kind of made it like bulky at the bottom, so just try to have a flat surface. If you can, i put the um bag on the mannequin head to protect the mannequin from getting the paint on it or the paint that's already on the mannequin from getting on the inside of the wig, because i do a lot of color on my mannequins and Sometimes the color can transfer, so i added that bag for protection, but yes be careful if you have anything underneath so that it doesn't affect your cut and voila here she is after being dried, styled and making sure her cut was complete. Shorty is on fleek and she is ready to hit the streets. I'M just loving this color guys. This is the cajun spice by kiss colors. I'M just loving it. Yes, but y'all see that y'all see that movie y'all see how sleek that is. Y'All see that color that vibrant color, you can't tell it - was blue and stiff.
