Mane Attraction Glamour Wig Review | Toffee | Denise Sheets

Hey everyone welcome back. I am here today to show you a main attraction piece. This is glamour by main attraction in the color toffee. There you go, toffee is a golden brown color with light gold blond highlights, so toffee is a really really pretty color alright. So I have a lot to cover, but first before I start I want to let you guys know that this piece was sent to me by wake Studio, One for review and as some of you know, I do some guest reviews for them on occasion and I'm Really excited to have a chance to try another piece for them, and so this review is on behalf of wig studio, one. If you have not heard of them, I highly recommend them for a number of things number one. They have an online store weight Studio. One calm where you can purchase nearly every name brand of wig as well as they often have a 30 percent off coupon, and so you can get them for a really good price right now. Wonderful women in there who are very, very helpful on our journeys and it's a good opportunity to ask questions and see pictures, alright, guys so main attraction glamour. I have a lot to tell you about this wig, but before I do that, I want you to be able to see it on all sides. So let's just take a look. I know some of you are here to just check out the wait. What does it look like, and maybe some of you are here for the color, because that's what I do before I purchase a wig. I go online and I try to find videos of that wig. Sometimes I don't really care about the chat, all the chatter that happens in these videos. I'Ve been working on my lighting in my bathroom, I'm working I'm trying to get some better lighting for you guys, even though I think my lighting has been pretty good. I think it can be better, so you might notice a little brighter light all right. So this is a cute cute style, it's mid length. For me this is a bit long. I like mine, kind of chin or little below chin length, but it's not too long. You can see it just goes below the shoulders on me, not terribly long at all and so really cute style. This is not my first main attraction wig. I actually have had lot, I'm sorry, Hollywood and main attraction as well as Broadway and seduction. So I have a bit of experience with this line of wigs and I will tell you that I really like main attraction wings. First of all, because they are so there's such a good price point. This wig retails for $ 125 right now, a lot of their wigs are around that 100 to 130 dollar mark, and it's such a good value for what you get, and so I you know, I love their fibers. Their fibers feel great. I'Ve had Broadway for a long time I actually have had Broadway in a number of colors. I wore a ton of Broadway this summer wore her just all the time and those fibers have just lasted and lasted so I really love these fibers. They just feel really great, so I highly recommend them for that. So don't be scared by the price point thinking the fibers are cheap because they're, not this particular piece is a basic cap wig, which means it doesn't have any mono, filament, no lace front, and so that does help to keep the price point down. Although you guys, I got to tell you some other lines like Noriko: have basic cap, wigs and they're much more expensive than this line. So I really think this is one to consider if you are on a budget or you're looking for something just you know, maybe you'd like to have a good collection of weight, so you're trying not to spend a lot of money and any one piece. So basic hat means in case you're new. There is no lace front, this one lays really great and it has perfect face framing layers that don't really make a lace front necessary to be honest with you. I you can't see it, so I think that's great and she really sweeps us to the side and stays there very very nicely. If you are a banker s'en and you want to cut things and her, you totally can't she does it hurt. I'M me, the bangs are just a touch too long. If you can see that not a lot, though it wouldn't take much trimming to make these able to be worn as traditional bangs. My measurements from my forehead to my nose are fits four and a half inches and I think I knew this measurement now. I can't remember it, but I'm me it would just take a tiny little bit of trimming and I really like how they've done this. You know it's sometimes face can be really heavy in these wigs. This one really isn't that way. So I really really like that something else I want to talk about before I take her off and show you. The cap is um the density of this piece and the permit ease. This is where I want to have a frank conversation with you about it, because I think there might be some challenges for some of you in this particular piece and before I do that. I want to tell you that when I got this wig - and I noticed it's pretty low density right here - I'm trying to make sure I'm focused and I just made myself go out of focus uh. I wondered if this was normal for this wig, so I went online and I did some research. I looked up reviews on multiple retail sites. I'Ve watched a couple of videos that really aren't very many video reviews of this piece and I reached out in a Facebook group to ask any wig sisters who owned glamour for feedback on this piece. So what I have learned about this particular piece, not all main attraction wigs, is that the density up here is on the low side. The permit ease as well, especially here, is on the low side. Some of you are going to love that. So I get questions all the time when I make videos how much permittees is there? How heavy is the hair? There are a lot of wake sisters who just don't like parties, and especially those new and your wig-wearing journey. Permit, ease and high density waves can be a real challenge if you've been losing your hair for any period of time. You are not used to seeing yourself with a lot of hair. You get away with a lot of hair or a lot of body and it looks Wiggy to you probably not to the rest of the world, but you know what, when it looks Wiggy to you, it doesn't matter right so um. Some of you are gon na love that this really doesn't have a ton of hair density up here. It'S very realistic density super realistic for a wig. This long, it doesn't feel like too much hair, but when that happens so here's where I want to try not to take too much time. But I've got to explain this to you guys when you have a wig that is either low density or really doesn't have permit ease. There is always the risk that you will see the Westing and the Westing is what the hair is sewn into on the way in a piece with mono features with cap features. If you have a mono part, that lessens the need for permit ease as well as high density, so in basic cap wigs like this one, you tend to get higher permit ease because they've got to hide where they attach the hair fibers to the cap. Does that make sense, so the problem comes in if you're looking for a budget, you know a piece that doesn't break the bank or you don't want those model features. Then you're going to have to accept an amount of permit ease because it's needed so on this piece. I really think they tried to walk that line of having enough permit ease, but not too much. You know I had Hollywood. I did end up selling Hollywood only because I have so many ways. I loved Hollywood, um and Hollywood was a lot of permit, tease that pure Hollywood did have a model, a lace front, a deep lace front which helped you know make it look more realistic, but it had a lot of permit ease up here. Glamour does not glamour. Is a real, similar style to Hollywood? Hollywood was a little curlier other than that. I would say these are merely sister styles. One has a cap feature. This one is a basic cap, so I hope that makes sense, because I'm going to show you what I'm talking about so hopefully you'll be able to see this. So, first of all, you can see a little bit of the permit ease it's like wiry, fibers and so on some basic caps. You can really see that permit ease and I have a video of a mall that I did as well as Haley, which I don't know if that's out on my channel yet. But it is on the wig studio, one channel, where I showed you how to deal with visible permit ease and a basic cap. The challenge with this one is the permit. Cheese is low enough and the density is low enough that you are at risk of seeing the Westing on this one and if you try really hard, if you pull the hair, if you want it to be flat, if you're trying to create a part line there, You can kind of see the Westing a little bit. Can you see if I've? If I do this, you can see the wedding now. Is that a defect I, based on everything that I read on this wig, the reviews that I read the video I saw out there about this? I don't think if the defect, I think it's just something to be aware of the reason I say that is because this wig is really cute and you can style it so that you don't see those things it gives you less styling flexibility. Then you would have if it were higher density. You know I tried to do some styling and pulling it up in a clip, and you just really can't do that with this piece, because the density is too low, so you kind of have to wear her down or you know. If you're gon na you can tuck her and you can do a few things, you can put her in a low pony as long as you keep this part down, and that I mean she's got great layers and you can absolutely do that. But there is a trade-off and - and I think that's important to understand, because when you're purchasing wigs, you have to consider your budget, if you can afford all the bells and whistles, if you can pay three hundred four hundred five hundred dollars for a wig go for It you're gon na get a ton of cab features and the things I'm talking about today are not gon na, be a challenge for you. If, on the other hand, you can't afford to spend a lot of money on a wig and a piece around $ 100 is really more your speed, but I think you're gon na have to educate yourself on how to manage wig set that just have some of The more basic features, because there's trade-offs in everything in life there's trade-offs all right. So I wanted to tell you that I want you to be aware of this. No, what do you do to disguise it when number one? I think you just wear it as she comes: don't try to pull any of the fibers up off the front number to maximize the little bit of permit ease that is here get in there go like this. Give somebody because the more you lift the hair fibers off the cap, the less you have to worry about. Seeing any of that - and I will tell you guys before I film this review - I spent a lot of time studying this way doing my homework, because I never want to mislead you guys. I want to be honest, but I also don't want to be naive and leave you guys have reviews saying a wig is no good when it's just my perception, I'm like mono features and lace friends. So basic caps aren't my typical style. There is such value to having them know that I want to bring my information to you guys. Another thing you could do if you still have hair fibers up say you know I was a topic user for nearly 20 years. That'S how i disguised my hair last as I use topic powder, and I did get some of this boost in blend early on in my wig wearing journey. When I thought I was going to be able to wear Stoppers - and I really haven't used this one. So I can really speak about this, so I still have them so one of the things you can do is you can use some fibers on way, especially if you're trying to disguise some permittees or in this case, if you want to sound a little and you're Worried about the wedding showing you can use some fibers that will work fantastic. It won't hurt the wig. So keep that in mind. You know some things you can do to make a wig work. Okay, let me show you the cap. I tried to film this knot to make it long then I couldn't make it happen. I just wanted to give you guys that advice. I could just glass over this stuff, but I know I have a lot of new wait. Where'S who come to my channel - and you guys need more information than just us glassing over what a wig looks like open, ear tabs. So it doesn't really have any of the cat features open. Your tabs good for glasses, where's, no extended nape, does have the velcro adjusters, though, which I love and the wedding isn't super tight back here, which again the the further apart wedding, is the more wind blowing could show the wedding. I'M not super concerned about that on this one because of the length I mean you're gon na have to be in some serious gale force winds for that wedding to show back there. It also helps make the wig lighter. So this is a really light piece. Lots of won't be super hot, because it's really light it doesn't have heavy permit ease. So it's so much to like about this piece if you can work with the challenges that I've pointed out. So let me get her back on for you really pretty color to this uh. I was really curious about this color and I'm loving, I'm looking in the mirror behind my phone here. I'M really loving this color and I'll get outside for you guys. You can see it, it's a real good super light. It'S very warm, it's very golden, but a light light brown, I would say a brunette who wants to go later in the summer. This is a good color if you're a blonde, and maybe you want to go a little darker in the winter. This is a good color if you can do warmth and gold really pretty alright. So, to sum up, I think this is a cute style. It'S super comfortable on the fit on me is, I would say this is really true to average. I don't have a. I have a little bit of extra cap up here, not a ton, and I usually do because I've very small over the head measurements. I didn't really have to cinch this and I'm 22 inches in my circumference, and I didn't really have to cinch it in it fits me comfortably, as do all the main attraction wakes, that I've tried so really true to average. I think you'd like this way. If you like this length, if you're looking for something that's not super high density and you're, you know there is permit ease here. I can feel it. You could see it a little bit but very minimal. It'S perfect amount for a wig of the style. I give it just a little bit of lift, but it's not heavy. There'S not permit ease all around here. It'S really just concentrated, like in the crown and kind of just right here, really appropriate, but if you're looking for a piece really flat and no permit ease and you're really gon na have to consider getting something with the with the cat feature. It'S monofilament specifically because most others it's a struggle because they have to use permit ease somewhere. Let me know if you guys have questions you know again. I want you to be aware of this paper part right here. It'S common in this style, but it's I think it's by by design. I think they were trying to make sure it didn't have too much hair infirmities for those who don't like it. So if this concerns you, this may not be the way for you, but if you are comfortable working with wigs, I wouldn't really fret about that. Unless you want to do a lot of updos, this one might be a challenge with that. I am back super quick because I wanted to show you a styling option if you happen to get a wig that isn't doesn't have enough density for you, and so obviously I talked a little bit about the lower density and the lower permit ease on the top Of this wig, which could be a concern with weddings, showing again tips to get around that - I'm not saying this is a bad wig at all and saying it's gon na work for some people and it's not gon na work for some people. Let'S say you get a wig like this and you're, you don't want to return it because you, I pay a restocking fee or you can't return it for some reason, don't think all is lost. I put baseball cap on with this one, so I can show you guys the possibilities with a wig that doesn't have a lot of density on top and doesn't have a lot of permit ease. Those are really good wigs to wear with hats, because they don't have so much volume up here to make it really hard to wear a hat. So if you like baseball caps, and I love baseball caps, that was my uniform when I wasn't at work because of my hair loss. But if you like other kind of hats, these kind of weights are great for that. Some of those higher density or higher permit ease wigs are very challenging to wear this way, but not a wig like this, and I could stick it in a ponytail back here. I could put it in a braid, it's very, very comfortable as well, and so I just wanted to tell you guys. This is a styling option and it's a totally viable option. You know I don't really have enough bio hair to even wear baseball caps with them. It just looks really sad and sick back here with my tiny little baby pony, and you know, even though I have wigs now. Sometimes I just want to wear a baseball cap and though this is a good wig to do that with. If you find that the density isn't good enough for you, so don't worry if you liked the look of this style but you're afraid to buy it because of what? If what, if I'm one of those people that thinks it's too low of density, if you're a baseball cap girl go for it, the price is great and here's a perfect styling option. You may find that the density on this one is perfect for you and you don't worry about the top there you go, but if you happen to get a wig and you do know that there are other options, so I just wanted to share that. That'S all I did to her, so I haven't messed around with her at all. Let'S get her on, let's figure out what we got out of the box. Well, I like the cap feels like it runs a little small, I'm sure I've talked about that already in the main part of the video okay. I was just looking behind my phone here. So I could see alright so first impressions very, very snug cap um yeah runs a little bit small. I think otherwise really comfortable such a cute style. So the bangs there's something going on here. There'S like a wonky bang, that's no big deal. That'Ll you'll be fixed. Really easily not terribly poufy, I like that, definitely not super poufy. It probably needs a little bit of a comb. You know, I think she's probably got just a little bit of box here. She just feels a little flat, and so you know messing around with this. Permit ease here, you know I'll play with that. I'Ll take a wide tooth comb to her. You know, I wonder if I want to spray this one's a little water or not and try to I don't really think, there's curl in this one. I think it's just kind of a loose messy wave yeah. I definitely want to take some water to these bangs, so cuz. I want to see what's going on right there, otherwise, I really think this one's pretty cute out of the box. I don't think there's a lot that needs to be done.
