Hi beautiful and welcome back to my channel today, I have something I'm so excited to share with you. Today we were talking about Sarah by John Renault and I'm gon na. Do a full wig review for you on her. She is actually the wig that I wore for my wedding, so I absolutely adore her can't wait to show you all the cap constructions and features of this wig. If you like, videos like this and also tips and tricks videos as well, please make sure to like this video, and if you want to see more from me, please make sure you hit that subscribe button below there's also the bell icon as well. So if you want to be notified every time that I post a video, make sure you click that bell as well, so Sarah let's go ahead and get into her. So Sarah by John Renault, this particular one is called hot cocoa. This color, it's called hot cocoa and, as you can see, it's just full of multi-dimensional light and by light I mean not heavy-handed just very natural highlights it's absolutely gorgeous. I do love this color, it's so natural and, as you can see, it's just so multifaceted and just absolutely gorgeous so hot cocoa by genre now, so this particular wig is very special because of its cap construction. So let me go and turn her inside out a cap. Construction on this is a hundred percent hand tied all the way around if you've never worn. One of these, the reason why they're so popular is their comfort. This is just super comfortable and the hair really lays natural, because your hair doesn't grow. Naturally in Wes it grows onto your head and individual strands, and that's what this is. It'S individually strands are hand tied into the actual cap. So the first thing you notice is, she is a lace front. It is the part of John Rose. Smart. Sorry, a part of John Rose, smart lace collection. It has a 100 % hand a monofilament top here, and it is all the way across. So you can change the part in any direction across that mono top for that realistic, scalp appearance and then in the back again a hundred percent hand tied cap and it is quite stretchy. So if you do have a little bit larger of a head, this could still work for you. It is considered to be an average sized cap, but it might it between the strap adjusters as well as the starchiness. You should be okay, you do have ear tabs here that are covered in velvet as well as down. Here. You have your felt velvet lined extended neck. Sorry, neat piece as well. These straps are adjusted by velcro in the back, I'm not going to take them off. Just because this is set for my head and I don't want to ruin that and for the specs as far as links the guys, the bang I flip her back over. The bang here is 15 inches in the front, the crown measures 17 inches and then the nape back here, measures 12 inches so for an overall length of about 17 18 inches, so sara is obviously a wavy style. This is a synthetic hair, so this wave pattern is set in it's not going to go anywhere when you wash it I'm just getting it adjusted real quick. I currently have her in a side part, I believe that's what she actually comes with. If not you can you can change the part anywhere to your liking. The main thing that I love about, Sarah is just these. These waves are super super natural, some of the curly wigs are a little full and I used to I used to think this was really full. This is my first curly wig that I had um. I just think this was super full and just too much hair for me, but I've really grown into it and now that it's become more natural about having you're having more hair, you become more comfortable with fuller, wicks and permit ease, and things like that. So to me this looks like a natural density, realistic density for curly hair. Sorry guys, I just have some hair trapped under here. I want to get that fixed, so you can really see the lease for it. Alright, so now that I've got all the hair out from underneath the lace, these waves are a little bit less than what they'll come in the in the box feet like I said this was my wedding wig. So I've actually worn this awake for probably about a total of I'd, say 10 times in total between getting it, trying it on getting used to it and then getting it styled. So I've had about ten wears out of her. I did watch her once and used a soak for using fabric softener. I'M gon na put a big disclaimer right here warning. Try at your own risk. I used fabric softener on her. I had brushed her out and she had got just a little bit frizzy and I wanted to tame that down during the styling for my wedding, so I soaked red fabric softener, I'm going to have a completely separate video on that again. Try at your own risk. This is not part of manufacturer specifications. This is not what they recommend, but it is pretty widely accepted across the way community that this is a way for you to get your wigs a little softer a little cheaper. So she has had a fabric softener soaked, but this is pretty much the wave pattern that you will see in the stock photo which I'll put right here for you. So it's a it's a natural wave pattern more like beachy waves. She said she does that 100 % full hand tied. This is incredibly comfortable honestly if it wasn't for wearing the wicker. I wouldn't know I had anything on my head for the lace front here. It'S done very well, but the the lace Florent is actually impeccable. It is really nice there's not a lot of dark roots or anything they are they're very natural. The hairline is is very well it's not plucked, but the way that the hairs are put in there. It doesn't look like a straight line going all the way across. So I really like that. Let me go ahead and show the back of her to you as well, so it is quite a lot of hair, but the hair isn't super poofy, and I absolutely love that I do feel very natural in this. I'M thinking about cutting bangs into her, I really love bangs and it just it's one extra thing I don't have to worry about. I don't have to worry about a lace front. I know my friend Brenda things into hers and looked really cute, so I might take this in tomorrow when I talked to my hairdresser about getting some bangs couldn't hurt and if I do I'll make sure to share that with you guys. So this is Sara. I hope you guys love her. I love her like I said I work for my wedding, the whole time I wasn't worried about my wig. I was able to spend time with my guests and my new husband. I never once thought about my wig and I absolutely love that I put some waterfall braids. So what I did is this part. That'S kind of hanging in my face I'll put a picture up here for you guys, while I'm talking about this, but I took this part here and we just kind of pulled it back and had it in a French braid and then for a waterfall braid. It'S basically a French braid, but then you let hair fall through across. So this was braided back like this and then the hair came down it was. It was absolutely gorgeous the rest that I just left down. I did have a headband that I wore as well with it like a jeweled headband, and then I had a veil that was attached in the back as well, just with bobby pins. My veil was really long and it didn't tug or didn't. I never felt that it was pulling on my wig or that I was I was, never scared that was going to come off of my hair, I'm off of my head. Sorry! So if you are looking for some tips about how to secure your wig stay tuned, I'll have a video about that as well. But I can't say enough good things about Sara about genre know. I love this wig. This is a very popular way by John Renault and it's for a very good reason. It'S a very, very pretty piece. So, if you're looking for a semi curly, not too curly hand-tied capped, Sara might be your girl right here. So this particular color is hot cocoa. Again by genre no hot cocoa, the color code, for that is 8r each one, for it does come in tons of colors, as you can see here as well. So no matter what color you're looking for it, I'm sure that they have it for you. I did purchase this wing at wig Studio One. This is not a sponsored video, it's just where I choose to buy my wigs from. I will have a link below where you guys can purchase that. So if you have any questions, please leave them in the comments below. Thank you so much for hanging out with me today. Please don't forget to hit that subscribe button, and I look forward to seeing you next time bye, bye, beautiful

Live and Let Di: Agreed, very pretty! I can definitely see why you chose this for your wedding. Your makeup is a perfect pairing for hot cocoa.
Heidi Waldron: Your review is very informative and great details. I love how you add the details on the top corner in pics of what your talking about, ie the diagram of the cap etc. Love the wig on you ! I have not bought anything yet, but I am leaning towards the JR top level hairpiece as my first helper hair. They don't have this color so I am thinking maybe 8/30 IDK yet, nervous. Thanks for showing how this color looks.
Emmi B: Hi Trista, I bought Sarah a week ago and have worn her twice. It came out of the box soft and silky and amazing. But within hours, just from mere existence, it became dry and snaggy. If i comb it out, it doesn’t stay. It’s a beautiful wig but gets ratty quickly. How about yours?
Elaine Hunt: The wig looks so much darker in the wedding photos. I found this video because I want to see wigs in the 8RH14 specifically. In most environments, would you say it is more often darker looking like the photos or lighter like in the video?
Avi Halberthal: Trista its so beautiful !! Would you say that its more of a warm tone or cool tone?
Mod-Planet: She looks lovely on you. Unfortunetly I got Sarah in place of the Rachel I ordered because Rachel was on Backorder. Big Mistake. I took her out of the box and she actually didn't look like too much hair (very light weight) and my initial thought was Wow, she is pretty. The curl pattern out of the box was more ringlets than a soft wave but I thought to myself that they would turn into the soft wave pattern I was seeing in the photos...well, NO! After I put her on it was like helmet hair. Very big and poofy and the curls made me feel like Shirley Temple. I combed her and poof now the hair was just one giant "poof" of hair. I sprayed her with water and she returned to ringlets. After fussing with her and deciding I just needed to wear her to get her to "settle" down I cut bangs - 2nd mistake as now I can't return her. The bangs look good but the hair just won't settle down. I have forced myself to wear her several days in a row. Pulled the hair back with a clip hoping it would flatten. I just really don't think I can wear this style. I will say she seems to tangle way less than most of my straight style wigs and I do love the hand tied cap. That's as far as it goes for me though. It's a big thumbs down on Sarah for me and now I'm out $400 bucks. Maybe I will try thinning her some...Oh, well, I guess we live and learn. No more curly styles for me. I'm sticking with straight hair from now on.
popgems: Sarah looks beautiful on you! Did you ever cut bangs into her? I love bangs as well.
Trina Sanville: Beautiful on you!
BelleDeJour224: Very pretty but it does have that synthetic shine that doesn’t look too natural
LiviaCD: You are a very attractive girl - with or without wig.
