Hey everybody, its Tad's, welcome back to Taz's wig closet at wake studio. One today we're going to do a special sister's style comparison. The most popular requests i have is when i review a very popular sheet friendly style. Everybody wants to know if there is a duplicate and another style that is not heat friendly. So that is what I'm going to do today and I'm going to start with the most popular style that I have probably ever reviewed and that is the Raquel Welch editor's pick I'm going to show it today in the color shaded cappuccino: RL 1222 ss. So I'm going to show you a very nice sister style option and a non heat friendly fiber and that very same brand coming up. So why do I love editors picks. So much probably the same reasons that you do. I have never seen somebody in this style that did not look good. It seems to be universally flattering for all face shapes now. You have to be a big fan of the curl and the volume. I also love this curl pattern. It'S a beautiful kind of separated, choppy tasseled wave pattern. There'S a lot of volume on the editors pick a lot of permit ease and volume. So I love big hair. Everybody knows that about me, so I'm just a big fan of this style. The biggest complaint about this style isn't doesn't have anything to do with the styling itself or any of the cab features. It is because it's made from the true-to-life fiber by Raquel Welch, so it is no joke. Then the heat friendly fibers are a little more delicate. They seem to react to friction and wear and tear a little more drastically than a non heat friendly. Fiber will there's, certainly some things you can do and I'll go ahead and post a video that I have up about how to care for your heat, friendly fibers. So if you're, just not a fan of those heat friendly, fibers and you'd like to see what kind of dupe is out there in a non heat friendly fiber that it's very clothes sister style to the editors pick, I have just the one and we don't even Have to go outside of the brand, so here I have the Raquel Welch celebrity celebrity is made from a standard synthetic fiber that is not heat friendly and the similarities between these two styles are striking. Both of them are full curly, tousled curly mid length, bob cuts. They both feature a beautiful practical bang and are about the same length about 12 to 13 inches all the way around. Now this the Raquel Welch celebrity, has a fully hand tied cap, in addition to the lace front and single monofilament top the price tag is a little bit more, actually is surprisingly, not too much more, but a little bit more. So the front of celebrity is about six and a half inches, as opposed to the four and a half inches on the editors pick. I honestly don't notice the whole lot of difference, though, because they kind of they kind of jump off of that lace, front and coil back into the style, and so that little bit is probably very negligible. The curl pattern is similar, but not exact. So on the editors pick, you're gon na see a highly deconstructed, tassel curl and then on the celebrity. Those curls have a little bit more integrity. They have a little bit more definition and I have worn this style out. I brushed it combed it and it seems to kind of spring right back into a little bit more of a defined curl pattern than that of the editors pick and then wait. They weigh about the same too, so both of them feel very lightweight three and a quarter ounces, as opposed to 3.75 on celebrity, so the other major difference between the editor's pick and the Raquel Welch celebrity is that celebrity has, though, no permit teeth in it? There'S a little bit of integrated wedding back there in the cap to give it some volume, but for the most part, you're not going to get the same amount of volume on the celebrity that you can achieve on the editor's pick. So stay tuned. Coming up we're going to do a side-by-side look at these two sisters, styles, and we'll see you next time on Taz's Lake closet,

Rebecca Dickerson: Taz, I can relate to you, I started losing my hair at 20 and started wearing wigs about 3 years ago. I’m 51 and wish I would have started a long time ago. Took me a while to get over fear of wearing in public but man.. no turning back now. Thank you for sharing wig reviews because I finally found the one for me. Editors pick. Your beautiful inside and out and I enjoy every video. Thanks again and God bless.

Sandra G. McAlister: Love side by side camparisons.but Editor's pick is one of my favorite wigs! Just gorgeous, thanks Taz!!

D W: Both look great Taz! I wish girl mono was heat friendly so I could add curls..... I like the option of using a curling iron to keep hair out of my face. Great comparison Thank you

Raechelle Bennett: I love both! Taz, Celebrity looks very well on you, almost 'dressier' than Editor's Pick. It could be the curl pattern. Loved how the side bangs fell away from your face evenly. They really are great sister wigs. I prefer regular synthetic wigs over heat friendly synthetic, simply the feel and longevity. You're gorgeous.

Nani Womack: Thank you Tazs, for the comparisons I like the Raquel Welch celebrity. Girl you can wear any style. ‍‍♀️‍. ❤️❤️

Marlene Fab & Glam Over 50: Both are beautiful, Taz! Love the way you compare the two styles side by side! Thank you! Lots of love xoxo Mar

Rhonda Scheidel: Editors Pick is my favorite wig of all time, but like many others, I can’t keep it looking good for long., a special occasion wig for sure. I cut off the bottom when it frays to extend my use. No extra care seems to prevent it. But I will always have 1 in my collection, it’s just too gorgeous and nothing comes close, not even celebrity, especially when it costs even more, I do not care about hand tied, but thanks for sharing,

EKA: I just love how you compare these two! Beautiful! thanks for all you do Taz ⭐️

midnightblackroses: This is a great idea! I would love a sister style video on straight vs wavy/curly wigs if you ever have the time

Cathy Olague: Yay! As I am a daily wig wearer, I really appreciate finding those regular fibers as I find they stand up better to daily wear and more frequent washings.

Cynthia's Tarot: You know me, love this style ! It's one of my absolute favorites because it's so classy ! You look so beautiful they are just perfect ! Wishing you an incredibly beautiful week, my dear sister !

Terrie Severson: I’m a huge fan of your side by sides and sister wig videos. Thanks again for a realistic and informative comparison.‼️

Maria Daquila: Great comparison ,Taz. I have an Editors pick, but never really cared for the curl pattern it had. The Celebrity is beautiful!

33lorie: Darn it Taz, now I want the Celebrity. You are creating a wig monster in me! XO

Monika's Beauty & Lifestyle: I love them both on you and both are in my favorite shades too! Excellent comparison.

Wear Wigs with Me: Well done, Taz! Great side by sides. This will help a lot of people who are trying to decide between the two!

Connie Steve: Thank you!! I loved Editor's Pick but had to return it because it was just too small and did not stretch. Is that because it is heat friendly? Also that would of been my only heat friendly wig in my collection and comparing that to synthetic - I prefer the synthetic because it is more the texture of my bio hair. Is Celebrity more stretchy than Editor's Pick?? Thanks for your review and showing Editor's Pick's sister!!

Melinda Baker: I have Editors Pick in Pale Golden Wheat. Celebrity will be my next piece...I just need to choose my synthetic color carefully. I do appreciate the sister style comparisons Taz and you do them so well! Thank you!

Pamela Prescott: Morning Taz, I love the editor pick! the celebrity you have on its too shiny doesn't look as natural. One day I hope to order one. Have a wonderful day⛄

Libby Adler: Great idea. Heat friendly scares me. Too many people have complaints, and I do not want to fuss with my wigs, or worry about them, especially at the cost of Raquel Welch. I would love an option that is not almost $400 at retail however.

Jackie Marsh: Loved The Comparison Taz!! I Love That There Are Options!! You Look Gorgeous In Both!! Thank You For A Perfect Review as Always Sweet Friend!! Love! XOXOXO!!

Patty Carosi: Beautiful Taz! I love them both! I am shopping for one now Fresh Chic she's on back order. Going to check these now then add to my wish list if on back order. I really want something new now I am seeing alot are on back order. You look beautiful in both. Have a great day! I am in Florida it's 82 today!

Lisa Bulmer: I love them both!

Amy Rutherford-Close: Love comparisons-very helpful

Valli S: Exactly what I wanted to see. I am one of those who doesn't appreciate the heat friendly fibers. While I own several, they are not anywhere near my favorites. Careful as I may be, they just don't last. Thank you for this video. I will be checking out Celebrity.

Connie Steve: I forgot to mention it would be nice if the wigs selling sites would cross reference synthetic wigs for heat friendly style substitute. One reason I wear a wig is I have the convenience of not styling it haha

Brenda Gregory Yuen: I like Celebrity! Probably because of the color you reviewed AND...no permatease! That's huge for me. Thanks for doing this Taz :)

Connie Steve: Thanks for the "heads up" ha ha. I am 23.5 circumference & I have large Skye & large High Impact so I will definitely look at large Gabor Soft & Subtle!! Maybe one day they will make large Celebrity. Gorgeous!! Thank you for your reply, it is very much appreciated❣

Debera Crabb: I really like your videos an I’m interested in the sister wig comparisons.. I love editors pick but it is a bit pricey so I’m looking for a sister wig I don’t need heat friendly do you have any suggestions? Thank you Taz

Tami Lynard: Hi Taz! I love RW shaded biscuit. What other RW color closely resembles shaded biscuit? I'd like something close without going completely different. Thank you for your wonderful videos!

Lynn McKenzie: You look so good in Editor's Pick, it's my favorite too.

Liz Lyons: I think you made the perfect comparison. I am not a fan of permatease and I love the fact that Celebrity has more defined curls. I actually love everything about it. I liken Editor's Pick to Julianne by Jon Renau -- messy. Some people enjoy that about both those styles, but I like more order, lol. People like me should really give Celebrity a serious look. It is an older style but classic, which is probably by RW continues to produce it. xoxo

Carolyn S: Thank you! Very helpful Taz!

Maryellen Dawson: Thank you so much for such great videos Taz. You are a beautiful person in all ways. Pardon me for asking a couple of questions. I don't know who I trust more than you on wig buying. Do you know or trust the company "Best Wig Outlet?" They have all the brands and sell them for less and now have 30% of of that. They claim they are true wigs. Also do you know anything about Pinkee Promise Wigs? Her prices aren't great, but better than some. I've been dying to buy Editor's Pick for a couple of years, but the price!!! So I've bought many Paula Young wigs of which some are very nice. But I can't stand the feel of any of them on my head and I'm so sad my hair is getting too thin to wear in public. It's devastating and now it looks like I'll be wearing one much more. You and others rave about the comfort of EP so that's another reason I want it. I just don't want to buy from a fraudulent company. That would be such a waste. You and I have similar taste in hair so I'm asking....What's the diff between Editor's Pick and Unfiltered. Is it that Unfiltered is less wavy? I like to create volume and it doesn't look like Celebrity can do that. Thank you for any advice.

Jennifer Wills: How in the world do you buy a wig on the correct color. You always find good color for your blonde wigs. I haven't bought one yet. I am looking at editors pick and I want it to be about the same color as the short blonde wig you wore today for the New year. I definently want ot rooted as well.

angela searls: Great matchup Taz, very close.

Geri Weyer: Thank You Taz, You are such a Doll.

Rose Menzies: Looking at the wigs behind you Taz... in the middle row, what is that wig 2nd from the right? It caught my eye! Thank you!

Jaci Fertik: Editors pick wins hate the shine on the other and curl pattern

Debbie Watkins Watkins: Taz I would like to have a wig just like editors pick, shaded biscuit color, a little longer. Like below the shoulder. Do you know of one?

Lore dana: Editors Pick is less shiny an looks in my opinon more realistic

nery2able: Great job

Litlj1943: I've seen this wig on many different women. It looks terrific on you (as most of the wigs do), but some of the women wearing it either have large heads or do not fluff it up like you do. Therefore, after seeing the not so great presentations, I cannot make up my mind. If I purchase this wig and it looks like it does on you, I would be more than happy. If you can, check out some of the demos in You Tube and I think you will see what I mean. Stay well.
