Gabor Radiant Beauty In The Color Gl8-10 Dark Chestnut | Wig Comparison With Gl4-8 Dark Chocolate

Radiant Beauty was one of the first wigs I purchased at the beginning of my wig journey. She was too much hair for me at the time and I ended up overthinning her (rookie mistake). I am excited to be able to show her to you now that I am much more comfortable with wigs and know I can wear her with confidence. If you are not there yet, please know you WILL get there if you give yourself some time. It does get easier!

Hey everyone I'm here today to share with you a cab or wag. This is radiant beauty in the color GL 8-10, which is also called dark. Chestnut hello, wow radiant beauty is such a stunner, so I purchased radiant beauty. That'S not this one. It was one of the first weeks that I purchased a year and a half ago when I started my wig wearing journey, and I have to tell you guys I was overwhelmed with this hair and she's really not overwhelming, but when you're new to wigs. It'S really hard at first everything looks so Wiggy on you and so full and like so much hair when you've been suffering from hair loss for a long time. I am curious to know if my wig sisters, who have lost their hair due to chemotherapy or some other reason where they had a lot of hair and then suddenly they didn't have a lot of hair or any hair. I'M curious to know if it's the same, for you guys, because I'll tell you: I've been losing my hair for 20 years and for the past five prior two wigs, it was so bad. I should have started wings way sooner than I did. I just didn't know, and I so I tried hiding it so when I did finally discover ways everything felt like too much hair to me now, a year and a half later and 200 weeks later, I probably tried 200 wigs now in my lifetime not owned, but Tried um, I I will tell you that I can wear a lot of really full styles now, where I couldn't before radiant beauty. For me, it was a struggle at first, so I just want to tell you guys that up front, because I know what happens. Is you see these wigs look amazing on people and it's your dream hair. This was my dream hair, this beautiful length curls, it's so pretty. I just wasn't ready for it. So keep that in mind. So just talk a little bit about radiant beauty, so radiant beauty is a wink by Gabor. I love good, more wigs, I think abour fibers are spectacular. I love that they're nice and light they're not heavy and dense. I love their lace fronts which I'll show you. I just like Gabor is just a favorite, so radiant beauty has just kind of the perfect hair density for this style and very minimal permit ease, although she does have permit ease. So let's take a look at her all around and then I will get into the cap all right, so this beautiful layer is beautiful. Curls, look at these curls they're, so pretty they're just stunning. So let's take a look at this cat, this lace front here. Let me make sure you can't see my own hair, that's always the trick when I don't adhere the wigs and I don't wear wig grips is getting it off there. You go. Look at that lace front. Let me see if I can zoom in for you a little bit. It'S so good! Isn'T that realistic? It'S just awesome! I love love, love these lace fronts. What kind of you to do is to really play up these curls. I mean with curls like this. The ability to pull up the style off your face and kind of make a little poof or let the curls kind of spill over is so invaluable and, with a lace front like that, you can do that with no fear whatsoever. Let me grab a clip here. This is one of my favorite ways to wear wigs like this is just a simple clock clip and then you can take the curls and you can really highlight them. Look at how pretty that is. That'S one of the benefits of these Gabor wigs as these lace fronts are so awesome. The fibers are very light. Let me just take rock for you and I can kind of show you so what Gabor uses is something called. I get an eye forgetting I always want to say it's a whisper light. It'S flex light there flex light fibers and they're just a super light fiber, which means you don't feel like you've got just this super heavy heavy head of hair. It'S just really great radiant beauty does have a good amount of hair density, though, which i think is awesome, because then you can, you don't have to if she doesn't look lifeless with those beautiful curls and you don't have to worry about any Wes showing if it's Windy um, I did actually my first Gabor my first radiant beauty. I felt some overwhelmed with it, so I did thin her and I over thinned her and what ended up happening if she just looked like she had these stringy curls and they were so sparse. So I would be real cautious when you start thinning wigs to not over thin, so there's that lace front look at how far over it goes, which I love. It goes all the way to the ear tabs which just gives you, when you pull up that hair. It gives you more to play with nice soft ear tabs with this. The metal stays extended, nape velcro adjusters. She does have some parameters right here. She just threw out the cap. I would say that radiant beauty has permit ease throughout the cap, but most of the cap, the permit, is you're gon na find, and let me see if I can actually show it to you is - is just crimpy fibers. So when I do this, you can see. There'S the Westing I just pulled the fibers aside, there's a little bit of crimpy fibers there. If you can see that that is permit ease, permit ease comes in many different variations. One is the super poofy pillowy kind. That sometimes is too much for us and then the other kind is just a little bit of crimpy fibers a braid along the Westing, where the hair attaches to the wedding, and that does two things. It allows the wedding to be more easily disguised. So if you move the hair around and win, if you want to do an updo you're, not gon na, have to worry so much about the hair moving and seeing holes where the wedding is, and the second thing it does. Is it just lifts that fiber off the cap just slightly to give it a little style? I do not think that radiant beauty is heavily permit eased. I would not consider her heavily permit ease. I would however, say she has permit ease right here. She has a little bit of the pillowy kind to give it a little lift right here on the side again minimal. I have my head a trestle or Mia. Please look for my video if you're curious about Mia, I struggled so much with Mia because she has a ton of her Matiz so much this not so much. I think I wanted me to look more like radiant beauty. I really do I purchased this one from a wig sister a number of months ago, because I wanted another chance at radiant beauty, because I over send my first one now that I'm more comfortable with wigs, I wanted to know is radiant beauty s style. I could wear, and so when awake sister was selling her i jumped on it and yes, I'm so glad. I did something that I did with radiant beauty early on, because she was so much hair for me. Is I wore her up a lot because of these curls? You can really play around with the style and you can take her. I would pull kind of the sides up and I would put her in a clock clip and then I would leave just a few tendrils down that takes some of the bulk away from the face and allows you to feel a little more comfortable. So what I recommend, if you are into purchasing a wig, that's too much for you like radiant beauty. Let'S say you watch my review and you think oh, I just have to have her she's, so beautiful, and then you get her and she's too much for you. Consider using her in updos until you're, more comfortable volume. Of course, you can always return her and only you can decide what your financial situation is, but if you can afford to hang on to a wig and give it time, I think radiant beauty is a perfect one to do that with. I don't know how that real, quick pulling her up looks so I'm gon na. I think it's alright see you just have to pull her back put her in a clip and it does make a huge difference in the amount of hair that you see in the poof, and I think radiant beauty lends herself so perfectly to these, because the curl Allows you to make cute styles and because she doesn't have a lot of permit ease, sometimes wigs with a ton of perma teeth can be hard to put in updos because they still look so bulky. Radiant beauty is not gon na. Do that so I don't know guys, I'm a fan. I really think radiant beauty is gorgeous, I'm you can always put her fully up. You know I've done that too, with her and she's so cute that way. So if you I've been eyeing, radiant beauty and you have a chance to get up your hands on one, I would consider doing it if you're comfortable messing around with ways. If this is one of your first wigs, though keep in mind, if you've been losing your hair for a while, you might feel a little bit overwhelmed. That'S why I wanted to show you some tips so that you could still have her, but you could give yourself time to get acclimated. That'S so important in the way journey is so important. Alright guys, if you've any questions, let me know I will tell you Oh fit. Radiant beauty, um, so gabbar wigs to me have a real wide variety and how they fit. Sometimes they fit just perfect, sometimes they're big on me. I know that they do have some average small and average large sizes. This one is average and I would say this fits me a bit small. I think it fits me just a little petite um. I have a tiny bit of room up here but where I think it fits a little petite, it's just right here. The ear tabs are just a bit high on me. You can see all my gray hair right there um, but Gabor wigs have nice stretch. Let me see if I've taken her in at all. I have just the tiniest tiniest bit of room to take the adjusters out to pull her out so she's. Definitely not fitting me huge. I just did a review of sheer elegance by Gabor that one's in an average size cap as well - and it's huge on me so there's some variation in the Gabor capsizes I'll. Tell you that anyway, so that's all I've got. I think she's adorable. I really really like her um. You know if you're gon na, if you're afraid, you're gon na be overwhelmed with hair. I think you can do some updos and that'll be cute, and so that's what I have to say I'll show you um what she looks like outside and if you have questions, I'm always happy to answer them. Thank you so much for watching you guys, and I will talk to you soon. Alright here is dark. Chestnut GL 8-10 outside I just threw around real quick. I forgot to do this, so I had a whipper on real quick. I didn't even comb her out. So don't judge radiant beauty, just look at the color, it's so pretty. It'S got some real subtle highlighting in it, which is super pretty, but it's definitely not over the top. It'S just a great medium brunette, with some subtle highlighting which Gabor does so good, so that you can get that spectacular lace front, so so pretty not too late, not too dark. Alright, thanks for watching guys, you

Ginger Lehman: When I first started wearing wigs, I sent back or sold every curly wig because if the volume. Now, that’s about all I wear. January, Kona, Carlotta by BM, and Girl Mono are my favorites.

Jerilynn Vitale: I'm so thankful for your reviews and your honesty about each piece!! I love the way you give out information and I totally identify with you on many levels when it comes to hair loss and helper hair! I can't wait for the next review!!

Maranda Rock: Beautiful style;great review. I also struggled with this one. I’ve been wearing wigs for well over 2 years, maybe 3. I still struggle with this one at times. My color is lighter with root, however the highlights get even lighter around the lace front(as Raquel normally does) so the lace is so wonderfully done, it’s actually hard to hide anything I wear under the cap. Wig grip, biohair, liners, I can just see where they begin bc the lace front is so barely there(great thing to have). If I was completely bald(very thin hair), I believe it would look more realistic. Also, I’ve only purchased one, used, and the curl pattern varies SO much on this style. It’s an issue w/all curly styles, but this is one I have seen curls, all the way to practically straight. I’ve tried the hanging upside down, and washing. Did urs come straight outta box curly, or do u use product to accentuate curls, if so, what’s ur favorite product for those round curls, instead of beach wave? Thank you Denise! Definitely a quality video with lots of info.

Shepherd boy: THANKYOU! Denise, I really appreciate you. This is the first wig review that actually *shows* the lace front up close and in detail, and you are so honest... I can't say enough. I have been disappointed in pretty much every other wig reviewer - you're the BEST. I actually feel I know what I'd be buying after your review. I'm a man and am balding and my real hair looks (looked?) literally *exactly* like this wig, and I've always worn it this length, and always back off my face (people have always said "you have Jesus hair") basically exactly like it looked when you had it clipped back (except no clip). I wonder if a woman's Radiant Beauty would fit a man's head...

Nicola Gio: Thank you for keeping these great reviews... Im looking into wigs that have curl but yes not overwhelming -- hard to figure out-- so thank you!!

Pam Durrell: I love watching your videos. I to have been losing my hair for years finally got my first wig. It seemed like I had a helmet on my head. Slowly getting use to it. After watching your video where you shaved your hair I did the same. That was so freeing. I wish I could find some used wigs. I love all your info thank you.

Michelle Rizzitano: This is gorgeous on you Denise! I love it!❤️❤️❤️ Have a great Memorial Day weekend!

Julie Oblauskii: I think this is the best color and style I have ever seen you wear. It looks so amazing and natural on you. Absolutely stunning

Kiki Jean: You make so many good points here, Denise, and I identified with them all! And thanks for showing us that color, tooxo

Faith Vogel: What you say about allowing yourself to get acclimated to a wig is so so true. Sometimes you have to really mess around with them to start to see the possibilities. In the end there are sometimes wigs that are just too much hair and in those cases, I find I can still make them work by barretting them down, ear tucking, hair bands, and one wig, Jessica, by Esthetica, was so much curl and so layered, I only wear her with hats and sometimes pull to the side and braid it and then put in a scrunchie, which by the way are totally back in style after the 80's! Thanks for a great review on this - I may try this or Soft and Suble because I saw how Jill Lynn did a half up with soft and subtle at the beginning of a Jackson review - and I loved how she wore her soft and subtle. And I like how this works on you, too, You reviewers are so so helpful to us!

Emily Rosenzweig: How'd you know this is just the color comparison I wanted! Love RB on you!

Tami A: I love this wig on you. Radiant Beauty looks so natural & I could see where it could be overwhelming to someone not used to curls or that much hair (I'm a natural curly girl, much tighter smaller curls). I like how close up you showed the lace & different ways you can were it. Does this shade pull more to the red side or just a warmer brown?

DHG Heart Written: Girl, you are so pretty! You always look lovely in all your wigs!

Nina Rogoff: Great information for new wig wearers!! This is a beautiful wig on you!

Diann Handel: I love this wig. It makes you look young. Are either of these 2 colors considered cool ? I am still struggling to figure out the warm / cool but I see on myself a difference. Thanks for your help. I love this videos!

Jodi H: Hi Denise. I know this is an older video but I am wondering how radiant beauty holds up? I got Hollywood from HM and I have to say the piece did NOT stand up well in my opinion. I hate to purchase if she isn’t worth the money. Thank you! You are so pretty btw!!

Beautiful You Wig Reviews : So pretty and that’s one of my favorite colors!

A. Germaine: Another great review- thank you. I have a question: I am debating between Radiant Beauty and Mid-length Beach Wave. Out of the two, which do you prefer and why? THANKS!!

Gerri W: Hi Denise This is my favorite wig. I do have to trim the length a bit otherwise she’s perfect. Thanks for the review

J Newman: i'm with you, having so much hair loss at the crown, I would have to get used to the new look. But Gabor runs small on me, so I have to be careful. I have one wig, and in hopes to purchase another one soon. I have a lot of friends that let me try on wigs, and I just can't find one that is like the hair I used to have. But love your videos and you are so informative. Have a great day. I love the way outside you look around. I do the same when I go out. I just know the world is announcing...her she comes in that wig. If they only knew how we struggle.

Camille M: I'm somewhat new to this. I just bought Radiant Beauty in dark chestnut. I've gone back 3 times and had it thinned! Thanks for the review and all you do. Do you think I could try the Broadway? What would be a comparable color? Thanks to any feedback from anyone.

Judy Grayson: Thanks so much for all your knowledge!

joanmoan: You are so fantastic, informative, thorough and honest. I saw a post about the fb group where you can donate wigs, I have some wigs that are still in very nice shape accept I cut tags and straps bc they bug me. Will that be a donate deal breaker? if not can u just direct me to a po box or something? thanks so much. I'd love to donate some cute wigs for ladies in need.

Robin's Wig Party: Lovely on you. Your lighting is really good. Can you tell me what you are using? I need help with that. Thanks!

Edie Wall: I am waiting any day now for this style to arrive in mailbox. I ordered a blond.

Pamela Prescott: Hi Denise I have Maximum Impact I purchased a year ago she looks nothing like yours. Probably because mine is older. I had to thin her so much and I trimmed her also ,she was down almost to my breasts. I love Gabor wigs they are natural looking an lace is very good. You look Fab in yours. Have a wonderful Memorial Day Weekend stay safe

GeorgiaPeach 1970: Do u find this similar to Editor's Pick? I know it's longer.

Helsinki: Lovely!

Edie Wall: I have not had the hair loss you describe. But I am not able and my hairdressers are not able to help me maintain the full volume long mane with color and perm in the style I had for so many years. I feel very naked without tons andntons of voulme and length

Diann Handel: Does the chestnut have red hint?

Maria Barradas: It's a nice wig but I hate, hate , hate permateases, why do they have to put them in every wig?...I look at long hair on every tv show and even with long hair most ladies have a flat or almost flat head on top, I am small, with a small head and face, I am short and most wigs feel very wiggy on me, I am waiting for a Jon Renau Chelsea and a Toni Brattin Impressive, I hope they are not full of those permateases...bu that look nice, thanks for showing.
