Hey everyone: it's Vega holic. How are you tonight, I'm hoping you're good me, I'm doing pretty good tonight, I'm not gon na be doing a wig review. What I wanted to do was to share some information with you. Some, I guess some a product review, probably is what it would be. I have recently gone over to mostly human hair, wigs, as I've stated in some of my other videos, and excuse me with that. The expense can be quite costly. So one of the ways that I have tried to keep the expenses down is to purchase some of my ladies used plain and simple used with that. You always have the issue that probably not the color. You want yeah, so I had to learn unless I wanted to go out and spend you know extra money to take every single one of them to a hairdresser. I had to learn how to do some of it myself, so I've been doing it now. I have colored my hair and my daughter's hair for years, so it's not something new for me. I bleached my hair before yeah, sometimes successfully, sometimes unsuccessfully, but that's another story, so I basically have bought these units and I'm making them my own, I'm putting the wig a holic spin on them, so to speak. So if you buy a unit - and it's not the color, you want and it's not a virgin piece most likely unless you're gon na stay in the same color range, you're gon na have to get rid of the color. That'S underneath it or bleach it, sometimes both. So for me, I like to keep some darker roots, obviously even on a synthetic wig, I like a darker room, so I have had to research and find out how to get the color out, because if I want to change the color, the one thing I've learned Is color will not lift color if you have color in the hair and you want to go lighter you're gon na have to bleach it unless you remove the color okay, so you learned something there, so I did some research. I purchased this item, which is Rusk eliminate and I've used it. I'M gon na tell you how I used it and then I'll tell you what I thought of it at the end. So one thing I have to tell you beforehand is: I am NOT a licensed professional nope haven't gone to school. Nope, don't have a license. I do this all on my own, it's strictly trial and error and I'm sharing what I've done and what I've learned with you. You can use it if you want to, but don't blame me if you mess it up, because I don't have anybody to blame when I mess it up. Alright, that's one thing I will tell you to if you're going to do something for the first time I suggest highly suggest get a cheap unit that you're not worried about. If you mess it up, it's gon na go in the garbage. That'S a highly suggested idea. Okay, because I would hate for you to go out, there buy $ 300 wig, bring it home, not know what you're doing or not be sure of what you're doing, or have it be your first time doing what you're doing and just totally destroying it and being Out three hundred dollars that would be terrible, so just a warning. So if you buy one though that is the funky colors like the pink and the purple most likely, it's been dyed with the Earth Day. Yeah this ain't gon na work, you're gon na, have to get a fabric dye, remover, cuz ain't, no cosmetologist, gon na be able to take it out mm only dhyryam fabric dye. Remover will do that. So, let's get into this, and let me tell you how it use it so, basically you're gon na have to decide. First, are you gon na take the color out of the whole wig, or do you just want to take it out of a section? Do you want to take it out of just the top? Do you want to take it out of just the bottom? You know: where do you want to remove that color so that you can change it to what you want section it into those sections and make sure that you're not going to be able to like if you're gon na, remove it from here up make sure that You'Re not gon na be getting all of this down here. You want. It separated really well two inch sections work best: okay, even if you're not going to just do a section, you're gon na do the whole head still section it in two to two inch sections get some clips roll it put it up there and clip it so That you can do a section at a time. So basically, in this box you get three bottles. You get number one number two number three okay, so I'm gon na put number three besides right now, the other things you're gon na need you've already got your clips. Make sure you have these gloves, yeah cuz, think about it. You start taking that die out. Where'S it gon na go uh-huh on your hands, get a brush sheet, make sure you can see that I've been too fast and my nice little pink Bowl in there pretty. I, like pink all right so you've got your mannequin. You sure you're ready to go. It'S sectioned off you're gon na take now. This is really difficult to pay. Attention really really difficult. Take number one squeeze it in your bowl move, my bowl, so I didn't go on the paper. Take number two squeeze it in the bowl. I know this is hard right. Take the brush stir. Okay, once it's stirred all the way, we're gon na start at the nape. If that's, where you, if you're doing the whole thing, you're gon na start at the nape you're, going to take a section in your two-inch that you're going to be able to brush the solution on the top and the bottom and it's gon na be saturated. Okay, don't take big old chunks so that when you get done you're gon na realize oh, I missed a section in between all that hair and now your left would die in just that hair. You don't want to have to do this more than once, and you don't want to pay for this stuff more than once. If you don't have to okay, so you're gon na take that two-inch, section you're gon na start at the root and you're going to bring it all the way down to the tip of the hair, then you're gon na do it on the underneath route. All the way down to the tip of the hair do this over the whole head once you've completed that you're gon na. Let it sit for 20 minutes, I'm not gon na make. You sit here for 20 minutes. I thought about it, but no I'm not gon na do that. So then you're going to I'm gon na just do this right now: okay! Okay! So then, after that, you are going to go to the bathroom, go to the sink, whatever you're going to rinse it out in and you're going to run it under warm water. You'Re gon na run the wig under there. Okay, as you're doing this use a comb. I don't suggest doing a really fine comb, because you know what that'll do to a wig okay come on, and I probably should have said that in the beginning make sure that your wigs brushed out before you start this whole process. Please, because you don't need tangles and be ripping your hair out of the wig cabinet that just won't be pretty okay. Now we can return to our regularly scheduled program, so you're gon na comb through it as you're rinsing all that out then you're gon na take a quarter size amount of clarifying shampoo, don't have clarifying shampoo mmm-hmm have done dish, soap, not the pink or the green. The blue, you can use that. I mean that is one of the gentlest clarifying soaps that you can use. They use it on ducks. They use it on kittens I mean if it's safe for them, it's safe for your pretty wig, okay yeah! So go ahead scrub. It in for about a minute, okay, you done scrubbing good, all right now, rinse that out make sure you get it all out. This is gon na help to get all of that stuff. That may still be lingering in there out of your hair. All right, I think, you're done rinsing. Now it's really good! So now I want you to do it one more time clean it with your clarifying shampoo or your dawn, I'm gon na fast forward y'all. Here we go so now we're done with that. Now we're gon na grab step 3. So remember take this with you to wherever you're gon na rinse it out at you're gon na. Take this and you're gon na. Do it all over the hair? Don'T miss any spot that you have used 1 & 2. 1. Ok, let that sit 10 minutes there. We go 10 minutes now. You'Re gon na rinse that out one more time, you're gon na use the clarifying soap shampoo, whatever you're going to use on the hair, get all that junk. Aroo out make sure you rinse it clean and they're all this time, then you can wash and condition it and all that stuff is out now I found this worked extremely extremely well for me, my favorite part about it, not that it was so difficult to mix And apply because that was so easy I didn't have to mix. I didn't have to measure any developer. I didn't have to mix a powder, it wasn't messy, because this is all clear liquid in here. It'S it's all clear liquid. There is a huge, huge issue with using color removing systems for me, the owner, and this doesn't have it. This does not have that pungent nasty, I don't know like a toxic waste, is eating your haircolor off. It doesn't have that this stuff is great, so this is professional strength. It is professional, so I'm not going to tell you where to get it. I'M sure you can figure that out there's a little thing called Google and there's a shopping part on there. Yeah. That'S all I'm gon na say about that all right, so you all know I am not endorsed, supported or paid. No, if I was I'd, be buying full price wigs by any company any brand, nothing. This is strictly me myself and I giving you the information from what I've learned, what I've done and if you like it, you think you can try it. I think you want to try it go for it, but please no nasty responses if something messes up. Okay, take my heed: if you're doing something for the first time with color, bleach, etc, use a cheap wig, that's the last time, I'm gon na say that at least in this video, the one other thing I would tell you is: if you do a flub like I did so learn from my experience. I don't want to get all up close and personal with y'all learn from my experience, because what I did was. I took a color. I wanted my roots to be and I did not pay attention to the developer. I put in it instead of using a higher strength developer. I used a lower strength developer and I did not get the lift that I wanted. This is a case where color will not lift color, so I had to go in and remove the color that I did so that I could start from scratch and get the color that I wanted so learn from that pay attention to your developers. If you're doing a high lift color, then you'll want to make sure you've got a high lift volume developer, not a 20 or 30 yeah. No, that ain't gon na work, especially on black hair yeah, all right, you all have been really patient. You'Ve been great. If you liked it give it a thumbs up, if you didn't, I guess go see another video. If somebody else doesn't find the one you like, if you're new to this channel, please hit subscribe. We'D love you to come back. Y'All have a great night. I am going to do one more video, every quick. It is going to be a wig review and it's probably not going to be a pleasant one. Hmm all right have a good night. What I love you
