Hey i'm julia with wig review central welcome to my youtube channel. I wanted to take a quick moment to tell you a little bit about myself. My thin and baby. Fine hair is mostly genetics, but a 2016 breast cancer diagnosis certainly didn't help matters. There'S a lot of medications associated with breast cancer that can really take a toll on your hair. Also menopause, that's something else we can't escape. Ladies and a change in our hormones can absolutely cause some thinning hair. That'S something you'll want to talk about with your physician. There are supplements that can help. Oh, my god, there are just days that i get so frustrated with my hair thinning at the crown receding hairline. So i just wear it up like this. You know, thank god, for wigs, really, thank god. My mother had baby fine thinning hair, the older she got, the thinner it got. Her solution was to wear her hair short and to place her hair in rollers every single night. So my mother's solution was short haircut. Rollers every night, that is not a solution for me. Even if i grow my hair, it's still going to be baby. Fine, it's still going to have its thin spots. If i cut it short, it's still going to have its thin areas. There'S no way around that. In the past i had tried some medications promising to grow hair. Those did not work for me. If i wear my natural hair, i conceal those thinning areas - 90 degrees. In the summer, i'm probably going to wear my natural hair up like this, but i prefer to wear wigs. The question i'm most often asked is: what brand do you wear? What style? Do you wear? What color do you wear? I have my natural hair dyed and it's dyed a warm golden blonde. I love the belletress color, vanilla, lush, that's what i'm wearing right now it is the closest match. I can find to what i'm coloring my own hair. This is the style by belletress tealy flair. I absolutely love it. This is my favorite wig to wear in the summer. It'S got a luxury 100 percent hand tied cap with a beautiful, sheer temple to temple lace front. Let me try this on. For you, this is my all-time favorite style. It is my go-to wig, i love the style, it mimics the cut and the color of my hair, except it's 100 times thicker and just better in every way possible, and this is where wigs are so fantastic. You can choose different cuts, different colors. If you want to mix things up or you can choose something that is very close to your own hair and color, and enjoy the extra density, volume and beauty of it, we're headed to the store. Do you need anything if i want a style with a little bit of wave, i reach for the belletress maxwellis style, it's in the color, vanilla, lush, this wig i've had for more than a year. I try to be very gentle with my wigs and i also use different products on them, like the simply styling light: silk spray on the heat friendly fibers, to keep them looking great and to extend the life of the wig. So here's maxwella - this is a oh! Let me show you this: it is a monofilament top temple to temple, lace, front 100 hand tied, and i use this. It is a flesh, colored, skin, scar tape. If you place it inside with the sticky side up on your monofilament top monofilament part or lace part, it will show like skin through the parting space. I love it. It'S a very inexpensive, quick little trick you can use here is maxwella. This is a beautiful wavy style that i can wear when i want a little bit of wave and i want to take a break from a straight style like tea leaf layer. As you learn about wigs watching my videos, you'll see a lot of tips and tricks. Now sometimes, when i wear maxwella, i will use got to be glued styling gel, which is a strong adhesive, and i will place it along my hairline. I have a little comb that i have sewn into the nape of maxwella, which will anchor into the nape of my natural hair so i'll go ahead and curl with a curling iron, my own hair and then i'll comb comb it back off my forehead. My forehead has a line of the got to be glued styling, gel adhesive and then i'll put this on securing the comb at the nape. And then i will go ahead and line up the lace front and i will press it down so that that got to be glued adhesive will help. The lace front adhere to my forehead. Now it dries clear. So there's no worry about any flaking or white residue. I take the ear tabs make sure that they are centered and they are twisted and turned in towards my scalp so that they lie against my head. There you go, you have a very full voluminous style, i'm ready to go out on the town run errands whatever. I need to do i have over 400 wig reviews how to wear wigs videos and color spotlight. Liz: My hair is extremely thin. My mom had thin hair as she got older. I'm going through menopause and I wear my hair up just like you. And that blonde wig is fabulous ❣️... I wish you continued good health Julia ❤️.

Michelle Baker: I loved this video! It was fun to get a little snippet of your life, as you feel like a friend after watching so many of your helpful videos Tea Leaf Layer is my go-to wig as well. I wear her in Honey with Chai Latte. And I’ve considered Maxwella myself. So glad you are back to doing videos again, my sweet friend

I think one of the best videos I ever saw was your "Dating, Hair Extensions and Wigs." That spoke about self-acceptance that went far beyond hair for me. I have watched it more than once and I highly recommend it to people. I'm glad you have returned to creating content, Julia.
