Nyma Tang X Dose Of Colors Nude Lip Kit | Brown Skin Friendly

Hey guys, what's up and welcome back to my channel today's video is super duper duper exciting because i am testing out nema tang's new lip collection with dose of colors. So if you want to see that make sure you continue to watch so this video is going to be super quick because i picked up one of the lip sets that nima tang has released in collaboration with dose of colors y'all. Ignore this i feel like. I have to point stuff out, so i don't get a comment about it, but i got some makeup on my shirt and when i attempted to you know wipe it off it's taking forever to dry, because this is really good, thick material. By the way i got this um bodysuit, it's the snatched bodysuit from naked wardrobe, really good quality really thick, but um. If you get something on it, you have to wipe it off. It'S going to take a moment to dry and your girl is not patient. I was ready to film this. I want to try these lips out, which i've already tried them. So i know what they look like because i was super excited but yeah anyways too much long talking, let's get right on into showing you guys the actual collection. So it comes in the packaging that looks like this box right here and it's the new lip set. That'S the one i picked up. She also released a coral lip set and that one is more suited for summer in spring. It'S an orangey, i guess reddish orange colored tone, coral, obviously the coral collection, but this one is nude and when we say nude we're talking, nude nema's, nude, okay, you know nude is a plethora of shades because it just depends on what skin tone you are, and That'S going to determine what your nude is, so it's nema's, nude um. It comes with four lip products. The lip products come inside like this. I hope they don't fall out because i did not put them back in correctly, but you get a lip liner in the shade chocolate chips. I knew that was gon na happen. I'Ll pick that up later, so you also get a liquid matte lipstick in the shade. It'S called like to see it a stay, glossy lip gloss in the shade agent and then there was also a classic lipstick in the shade penny. Now i've had a few dose of colors lip products and so far i really do like them. I had that winter wonderland set of the matte lips and i still use those shades, even though that was a limited edition collection and then i also have the mickey mouse gloss, which also i love love, love, the formula of that gloss. That gloss is bomb. So i'm super excited about this, so let me go ahead and unpackage these products and pick up the lipstick that i dropped. Okay, so we're back in business. I um. I don't know what i should try. First, i know i'm not gon na try out this lip liquid, matte lipstick first, because that's gon na come be harder to like come off. Probably so, let me start off with a chocolate chip liner. I can show you guys on my skin what it's going to look like now. My worry with this is that it's going to be a little bit too dark um. I don't know if you can see that, but it's it. It'S probably like the same color as my shirt. Now it might be a little too dark and give that 90s little kim look which, if you're going for that look, it'll be perfect for, but if you're not, this could run you a little dark. The thing about the set is, you cannot purchase anything individually, you have to buy the whole set, they're not sold separately, and the set was, i believe, forty nine dollars and with shipping. I think it was like fifty dollars. Fifty fifty seven dollars, something like that um. So, that's, i guess, a flaw about the collection. You really can't narrow down the products that you want and pick because i kind of wanted the gloss from the coral set, but i didn't want the whole coral set, even though i feared that this might be a little too dark for the look. The looks that i normally do, i think, it'll be easier to mix it with another liner, like if i mix this with the kkw just to give it a little bit of a deeper tint. It'S perfect, but i'm going to go ahead and put that on. It was harder to go soft with it, because this is so brand spanking new, but once i wear it out a little bit. It'Ll it'll be like a softer um application, but it's definitely a vibe that the darker you know lip liner with the a nude lipstick gives it gives you that 90s little kim look like you know. So it's great to have a product on the market that you can use to create these types of looks because, as nema was saying before, eyeliners like that's what i used to use too for lip liners was eyeliners dark brown eyeliners until you know red relatively recently, Where now we have a few shades of liners that are brown skin tone friendly but yeah, i actually don't think it even looks that dark, but i mean i know it's that dark, because i can see it as far as the application in the cream product is Very similar to dose of colors regular lip liners, really good creamy easy to apply, but, like i said it's sharp in the beginning, but once you wear it a little more that sharpness goes away and it'll be more like a um, a more smooth application. What you can do is take a which i don't even know. If i have one up here, a lip brush, some sort of lip brush and you could. This is not the one that i typically use, but you could take it and blend it down. If it's too sharp, when you first get it so, let's go in with the penny, lipstick and, like i said, i've already been using it, but here it is. I only use it once, but i was too excited about trying it. I'M going to just put that in the center. That'S the shade right there like that shade is gorgeous. This lipstick is so soft and smooth it's not a matte formula. It feels very um, probably like a cream or a satiny formula. I think that this combination is flawless like it is super super cute, but i will say if you are not a very deep complexion. It is going to take a little bit of work to blend this if you're going for something that's a little like toned down. Just blend it out, it works fine, very versatile, so it'll go with a lot of different nude shades. You just got ta know how to work with it. Okay, so the next thing that i'm gon na try on is the gloss, and that is in the shade. It'S called egen and here's the packaging for that one really cute um. I need to add something. All of these colors are very chocolate like no red undertones, no gold undertones or anything like that. It'S a true brown shades. Penny has like a touch of a mauve in it, though it's not like a chocolate lipstick and i don't think it was intended to be that. I think it was meant to be more of a deeper skin tone, friendly pinky nude. You get what i'm saying, because a lot of those pink nudes just be way too light, and it's just even with a brown liner. It'S hard to work with you see what i mean. That'S true, brown, no red undertones, just a neutral brown. I don't like the smell of this, i'm telling you off the bat i don't like it. I think it's supposed to smell like chai. I'Ve never had chai tea before so i don't know what it smells like um. I don't like the smell of it, though. It'S not strong, okay, first things. First, this junk is super glossy like it's giving it's giving what it's supposed to gave wow. First of all, this is bomb. I love it. I love how opaque this is. I love the tone of it. I love how, even though it's a dark shade, it's still bringing cloths like what now i can't lie. I don't think that i will wear this a lot during the summer or during the daytime in the summer, but it's definitely something that i would throw on at night and all day long during the fall and winter months. Like i love it, i love this. The matte lipstick comes in similar packaging as the gloss really cute, frosted bottles. I don't know why everything, okay, i'm trying to let this dry down a bit, because you know you don't really get the true shade of matte lipsticks until they dry down. But i think it's pretty close and this is giving very dark, especially because my lips are dark. So, okay, so there's a couple of things with lipsticks and lip liners and stuff. There'S a skull. The color of your skin tone that it's supposed to complement, but then there's also that added feature of the shade of your lips. The shade of my top lip is darker than the rest of my like skin tone, so i face this interesting situation, sometimes where, even though lipsticks would complement my skin tone, they don't complement my lip tone because my lip is going to change the color of it. This is not the case with this. This is still giving a true brown shade. It'S complementing my lip and it's also complementing my skin tone. Now i will say it is very dark and sometimes dark shades like this. Like you know, blacks and deep browns, don't people don't really tend to go for because they don't they don't prefer it, but it's definitely complementary to my skin tone. However, like i said, i don't prefer to wear dark shades like this. Often it's like a certain vibe and look that i'm going for if i'm wearing something like this. However, it is super beautiful and having. This will make me a light, a lot more likely to use shades like this. It'S cute and, i think, definitely during the fall. But if i had to choose between one of these, i would probably go with the gloss because i feel like the gloss just packs on that extra to it. The longer i look at this, the more i feel like i would wear this a lot more during the fall like at first i was like. Oh, this is a really dark and i don't tend to wear i'm like the light. Nude shades, like i don't, tend to go super dark with my lip shades, even in the fall and winter, but this winter might be different. Honestly, i'm super super happy with my purchase, like i'm, going to be definitely getting more into these deeper colors when the fall and winter comes around. I didn't want to wait to buy it because i think this is probably going to be limited edition and i didn't want it to get sold out and not have the opportunity to buy it. So i went ahead and purchased it, but it's probably going to you know, stay on the shelf until the winter and fall months, unless i you know, switch it up this summer and have on like all black outfit and something like a deep lip but yeah. I'M really really impressed with these shades. The quality of dose of colors is there. She did a really really great job. Congratulations! Nema, like i said you can get this. I think it's exclusive to the dose of color site in the store namies, which we don't have on the east coast, but if you're in the west coast, i think it's called namies correct me.
