You can kind of see sorry what do Chris crew and welcome back to my channel and tonight's video. I am gon na be telling you guys about a not so great experience that I had with a hair company. Now. Let me make myself clear this. Video is a note way, shape or form to drag or to whatever rhymes with drag, maybe nag. This video is not about that. This video is really for me, just come and tell you guys about the BS right that I've been dealing with, and I don't like it and I stand in for it not on being Christina. Alright. A couple weeks ago I was going through the process of you know, but I go through with every hair coming in I'm gon na work with you get an email, you decide. If you want to go through with it or not, Fozzie blase. You agreed to a number all that good stuff and I agreed to do a hair review for a company by the name of Wiggins hair. I was specifically asked for a detailed, dedicated tutorial video only about hair. Alright, even though I had asked if it could be like get ready with me style or if I could do my own thing, which that's another thing they get on my nerves but I'll - save that for a different day. Oh yeah, that's what they said they wanted dedicated and detailed. Nowhere in my agreement that I sign anything that said that I had to lie or not tell the truth or I had to cover something up or take something out. I didn't agree to that because if a company would have asked me for that, I would have never said send the hair, but I never agreed to a cooperation because that's not how I get down you know times, and so I agreed to do the detail. Dedicated review that was asked of me, I received the hair. I examined the hair like I do you know, I'm saying I always look at here I'll take it out sometimes take pictures just whatever like that, but I looked at the hair. Hair looked great really great, it was like a Lucy wave. I did notice when I looked at the closure. Closure had to tiny like sold tiny, that they were barely noticeable. They were only noticeable to me because I was like I was. I was in there so they were very, very small. So in my mind I was just like oh like it's not that deep I've written I brushed it off. I'M not gon na lie to y'all. For the sake of the video, I saw two tiny holes when I got the hair when I got the closure, but I was like they are so small. It'S not gon na be noticeable and they weren't like right in the front. They were like going towards the back and I can show y'all those two. They can't see that all right, yeah right there right there, those two, but they were really. They were like smaller than that they were barely noticeable you're. Not even gon na get. Look. Look then it started just being a holes everywhere, but we'll get in today. So, although I saw two very tiny holes, I still proceeded to take the hair to my stylist to get it made into a wig like I do with all of the bundles that I get sent. That'S another thing that I want to make clear. I do not make my own wigs. I tried to do that early in a game of me being sent bundles and stuff like that, and I just had to realize that I am out of hair stylist. It is too time-consuming it's not something that I enjoy doing. I'M not saying I never would, or you know I never would try again or whatever like that. I talk to my stylist about like her doing like a one-on-one with me, like kind of like teaching me how, but we haven't done that yet so anyway, that I get made. I get me by a professional. I get me somebody by somebody who does this. I don't make my own wig so, like I just said, I get somebody to do it, meaning that's a service, meaning I pay so every week that I get constructed like if it don't come as a wig. I pay somebody to do that. Getting a wig made. It'S like 200 hours like minimum. You know what I'm saying so, let's just keep in mind that I paid to get it made into a wig, which typically I don't mind because you know I'll get our profit. When the company pays me for what I did and a lot of times, I resell my wigs because they are fairly new, like there are some wigs that I literally only wear like for the video, possibly or once or twice, but they are fairly like new, which I always you know. I say that, like whoever buys, it is aware that I wore it in the video because a lot of times people decide if they are going to buy it or not whether they buy it from me, my wig or whether they buy their own bundles and get A turn to await the fact that people rely on my word. I have to tell the truth like I have to so. I picked up the wig and nothing still didn't look like it was wrong, but still didn't look like it was wrong. My stylist is like she's seen like the little holes and she says she started to notice like one in the front, but she was just saying, like you know, maybe they'll stay like real tiny. She wasn't really like paying like super crazy attention to the holes like because we know it's aliexpress hair like me and her tits are like we're not expecting to get like the greatest, but you want some sort of quality. You know what I'm saying, because it's still a price point, so I've looked it up the price. I have it right here in front of me if a person would have purchased the same, exactly hair that I purchased, which is you know what we try to do. That'S the purpose of us promoting it. There'S always like a link in the description box to go ahead and purchase that same hair, so the hair would have still ended up being 301 dollars. So it says 301, 46 for 3, bundles of 26 inches, which is what I had with a 20 inch closure. So if you were to go ahead and buy that same hair that I was promoting, you would have spent $ 300, so yeah. When I was time for me to do that hair review. I noticed like when I put it on my head because it's like, as you would stretch it and you have to stretch it to like get it on your head, like it's a wig. So, as you stretch the closure and you're trying to like fit it or whatever, like that, I know the holes were more visible now that the wig was on my head, so I'm like oh like this is like worse than I thought like. I was just assuming like that the holes would stay tiny, but my comments, it should have told me like damn like when you stretch it out when you put it on your head, they might like be more visible and that's exactly what happened. So I want to show you guys the clip, because I still went ahead and filmed the review, because that is what I agreed to do. I wasn't just gon na, not film the review because it had holes. So me being me and me telling the truth and me doing what I agreed to do. I still went ahead and recorded the damn review, but I did say that the lace had holes in it. So I want you guys to see the clip, and this is from the same clip the video that I ended up sending to the company for review or whatever like that. But I want you guys to see and no way shape or form was I like nasty was I rude did I say never support or buy from this company? None of that I was just like yo, I'm letting y'all know I got ta, keep it real with y'all. It got delays that I was said. I'M not saying all their laces like this, but it has holes in it. But I'll. Let y'all go ahead and see what I sent to them and what you know y'all would have saw had the video ever went public. The only thing that I will say about this hair that I received from Wiggins hair. It'S actually not the hair. Like I said, I spoke very highly of the hair for a reason, the hair gives me no problems. I love the way of styles. Curls waves wet drives. All of that. The hair is beautiful. Now, where I had, the issue is the lace. I think that Wiggins hair could improve with the lace, because what I notice is every time I go to take the hair like the wig off or whatever like that, like there are little holes, but they are noticeable in the lace. So I don't think that the lace is extremely durable. I think that's something that they might need to work on, because, I'm being all the way honest if I had paid for this hair, I would be pretty upset because I would feel like I'm not gon na get much use or wear out of the wig. For a long time because wearing it like in the very beginning they're, all there are already holes in the lease. I don't know what that's about, but I have to be all the way honest with my viewers and my subscribers. I'M the hair is beautiful, but the lease on this closure was not so good. Now it bleached good and all of that stuff, but I'm talking about the actual the way it looks in a way it holds up. This is like on like day 2 of having the hair. I noticed little holes in the lease and I am going to show you guys what I'm talking about so when I sent them that final unlisted video, when I sent them that link. This is the response. I got honey. Yes, we got your link and learned that she referred to holes on a lace closure babe. We feedback to our factory the issues on the closure and the workers would pay more attention due to the little more times refer to the holes on a closure, so they didn't like how many times I said it babe. That would affect our brand. You know we do the video hoping to promote the brand, so we would like to ship a new way. Then you can help us to do another dedicated tutorial. Video not get ready with me review is that okay, to show how you install awake or other tutorial videos, sincerely sorry for the inconvenience cause for you, babe hope you could get hope we could get. I'M guessing your kind understanding this support, please! So here's what I say: I'm not doing a second video, I'm sorry, but I have other videos and things to do. I did what I was supposed to do on my end. I am NOT paid to lie to my subscribers. I don't want any more hair from you doing. Honest hair reviews is my job and our agreement. I was to be paid for a dedicated video and I did that. Okay, so they literally sent me an email. You know they were asking me. Could I cut from this part to this part? Please can i edit this out? Can I edit that out - and I wasn't agreeing to doing that, like you're literally asking me to cut out one of the main parts that would determine whether a person will want to spend their hard-earned money on this hair and I they want to spend near $ 300 on this hair, you want me to cut out the part about the fact that the lace was faulty, so a person could possibly buy this hair because of me, and then they come back like damn Chris, you told us to buy some. That has you know. I'M saying so, they basically did not agree with the fact that I wanted to keep the part about the lace in the video, so I ended up not making a video life you're, not gon na. Ask me a lot of my subscribers you're, not gon na ruin or possibly interfere with or tarnish the reputation or the report that I have with these people who support me and help me put food on my table like I'm, not gon na be bought. In that sense, like you can offer more money, you can offer to send more hair. You can offer all of it, so I did not end up getting paid for something that, like it was all in all, was a waste of time and the fact that I paid to have it turned into a wig. So I was just out of that money, but I'm sorry I just couldn't. I didn't feel right in my soul, editing that part out and just throwing a video up like hey y'all. This hair was great like it's so much other stuff I could say, but I want to just keep this video kind of like shortened to the point, and I wanted to be like a drag session cuz. I don't want to get like unprofessional, but a lot of these companies get unprofessional like they don't really care about the time spent they don't really like, since, when did doing a dedicated review mean that you cannot list the pros and the cons of the hair, like With these hair companies got ta understand, I'm not saying all of them. Cuz I've worked through a hair companies where they allowed you to say like oh, I would change this or I didn't like this, or this was this, like. I'Ve had lace that I didn't like before, and I said it and the hair company didn't just say like oh well, we're not gon na pay you unless you take this out. Okay, you cannot pay me because you're not telling me what to do on my that shit's a being Christina, so I'm not really pissed off about like missing the money I mean, even though, like you know, it's a job and I like to be paid for what I do especially if I had an agreement, but I'm more annoyed about the waste of time because, like I said I had it made into a wig that was a waste or whatever like that. But it's all good because I'd rather keep my integrity and my morals and these companies got to remember like just because you sent it to an influencer and she or he gets in front of a camera and says: oh, it's, the greatest thing you have to keep In mind that somebody's gon na attempt or it's gon na, buy that hair who's, it's not getting sent to them. It'S not free, they spent their money, they might have children a mime. A mother like I got ta. Keep that in mind. I don't want somebody just spending money on something and not be satisfied with it. So that's what occurred here and a couple of things happened after that but, like I said, I'm just keep that you know that part of it out like on the money tip like what they try, because I still feel like like. I should have been paid for my time pay for what I did. If I did what was asked of me, you can't decide that you don't want to pay me, because I didn't want to take out a part that I feel like was very important to the whole. Like you, don't do people like that, like you asked me to do something I did it not totally understand as far as Brandon owning a business or that, of course you don't want to pay. Somebody to say like something was wrong, but if that's what happened? That'S? What happened like you can't you can't ask a person to lie on their platform or I guess maybe you can, but that should just not gon na flow with me. So that's what happened? Um, that's the company that happened with. I should have said this in the beginning of the video, but y'all know the hair that I'm referring to is like right here. On my hand, it's not the heretics on my head. They hear this on. My head is a Styria hair. I did a video for this, maybe like two videos ago. Um this hair is bomb. This is the 30 inch hair still love it. No problems would highly recommend, but um yeah. I got ta, keep it real with y'all like I vow to keep it real with y'all. I love y'all and I really appreciate y'all and I appreciate y'all's trust and I'm not going to ruin that, and I've also learned like with these hair companies they're just what companies overall, like I've, had to make myself understand like we as the influencers like we are Just as valuable as the company, like don't sell yourself short, don't feel like you have to do something for an amount of money like you'll get the money. If you keep the respect like, if you got a you know, if something don't feel right, don't do it! This might not seem like a big deal to some people like Oh hair, like I get it but, like I said, if a single mother, whether she a single mother or not a mother period or a hard working person or a college student or whoever a dancer, A teacher whatever your profession is, however, much money you make. I don't want somebody to spend their hard-earned money that they could've spend on something else, because I said something was great and then it's not great, I'm not doing it. So if I can't speak truly and freely about your product, don't send it to me all right, because I am going to tell my Chris crew the truth. As always. I love you guys be nice to each other, but most importantly, be nice to yourself. Hair companies be nice to your influence, send them nice things, send people nice things, even if they aren't influencers and they don't have a following. It doesn't matter, treat everybody the same, and if you can't stand the heat, stay, your ass out the kitchen and don't be sending me no lace with no holes in it and we won't have no problems. I love you guys.

When you receive something defective, that isn't what was expected, return it right away and decide if you're willing to let them try again. This goes for hair, your men you date, contracts etc. You don't have to make something work. Send it back! They need to come correct. Keep your standards and know your worth

I’m never buying from this company not because they have holes in the lace, i can understand a brand needs to grow, but asking you to be dishonest solely for money and greed. Integrity speaks volume Edit: I asked my lawyer friend and you’re 100% entitled to getting paid. You did your part. It’s like a stylist does your hair and you don’t like it, you have to pay them if they don’t choose to redo it. They asked for a DETAILED review and that was detailed.

Being Christina: Hey yall! There are a few things I forgot to mention in this video! Mainly because I was trying to make sure I got all of the main points! So here they are! - Initially, I requested Wiggins Hair STRAIGHT HAIR. I always watch reviews on hair before I decide if I’m going to work with them or not. The better reviews I watched were on their straight hair. I was asked if I could ‘please’ review this loose deep wave and that they would send me straight hair ‘next time’. - I’m aware that I could have sent the hair back when I saw the tiny holes on the closure. I’ve sent hair back before & it can be quite a pain in the ass sending hair back to China. I’d also have to pay to ship it back (since they didn’t send a return label) WHICH I ALWAYS REQUEST FROM COMPANIES. I also didn’t feel like I SHOULD send the hair back because there were holes. Every review is not going to be some fairytale review. Viewers should know if something wasn’t perfect! (Just my opinion) .. but yes. I had the option to send it back right away! I just thought I could be truthful and say there was a small issue. - Yes. There could have just been something wrong with the lace I received. & I stated that more than once. Never stated that all of their hair/lace was bad. I could have received the SECOND hair BUT! I was given the option to receive more hair because I am a YouTuber. If they would have sent this hair to a regular paying customer, they certainly wouldn’t have given them the same option. I believe consumers and Youtubers should receive the same hair & customer service. ALSO! I had already spent my money and time turning these bundles/lace into a wig. To possibly do that AGAIN, pay AGAIN then take my time and film AGAIN was just out of the question for me. I understand things happen but this company simply did not handle this the right way. They tried to bribe me and also tried to pay me to post the video but gave me specific parts to remove. They asked me not to say the lace had holes. Going forward I have decided I am going to have specific things I grade hair on when I do reviews. Lace, durability, how much heat it can take - etc. I can’t sit here and just say ‘yes this was the best ever EVER!’ if it wasn’t. I did what was asked of me. A detailed, dedicated review does NOT mean you have to say ONLY good things. I’ve learned A LOT from this cooperation & this is why I told you guys a few weeks ago I was getting tired of some of these companies! But I’ve figured it out! I’ll do it! As long as I can do it on MY TERMS. If I can’t, it’s not worth it to me. These companies will try to strong arm you, change things at the last minute, etc. I’m not going for it. Especially when people are spending their hard earned money. Hope you all understand. Your support means the ..

If you send high-end products, sometimes at company-cost, that are as advertised--or better--customer response will keep your "bank" healthy. This young woman is right--a review is about pros AND cons. Asking anyone to redact to erase cons reveals much about the company. I think you're probably not PAYING influencers their WORTH as advertisers (for YOUR PRODUCT) if slimy tactics are the norm. Getting up into higher compensation marginalizes cheap tactics, production, and substandard results of same. Everyone's time is worth something. Contracts protect from such nonsense. StephActiveVeggieByrd: I appreciate your honesty!! I gave an unsolicited honest review on a company in China that sold on Amazon. The ombré color of the twist crochet hair was very pretty. But the weighted a full head of hair was 2 pounds, and the ends were prickly. I lasted 6 days with that in my hair and my scalp has been in pain for the last 2.5 weeks. It’s just now feeling a little better. So the company located me on FB to send me a DM. That was creepy because that took some investigation act to locate me. They begged me to change my rating from 3 stars to 5 stars and offered me different hair to change my rating. .... this is getting long, I’ll have to do a story time to complete the story, but I’ll say this, I felt the exact same as you... buyers needed to know that the hair was very heavy if you wanted it full... some of these overseas hair companies will beg you to lie for them if they think you can be bought. When I do my story time I’ll post the company name and the receipts of your FB messaging exchange. Stay honest and stay true sis!!

ZA WARDO: It could've been a defective wig- any products that are made for wholesale- can rarely have defective units. I personally would have received another shipment and give the company a chance! With shoes, clothing, food and even down to diapers- there could be one out of 2000 that could be faulty. I appreciate your honesty and I wish all influencers would follow your lead. There’s a hole at the front of the lace, the elastic band was not sewn in, and the hair was shedding out of the box. Ugh.

Kiana Holley: Glad I came across this! I wanna make a video on some hair and I've never made one on that topic before. I got some bundles from a company where, like your experience, the actual hair is good - but there's fundamental issues with the bundles. The wefts are thick, the hair is thinned (how sway?? you can see where it was CUT at the weft) and the tracks themselves are shorter than average. Unfortunately it's too late to return, so I'm gonna use them for something. But I still wanna tell people what to look out for and not totally bash the company. They have a celebrity endorsing their stuff so I'm kinda hesitant, but this video is a great example. Thank you for being honest!
