Happy birthday to me: hey guys, welcome back to my channel, so today i'm gon na be showing you guys how i achieved this hairstyle today. This is gon na, be my birthday hair, i'm actually about to go out to dinner. Um, i'm dressed so yeah. This hair took me two days because i did a ball cap method. I did the glue. I did everything okay, so let's see how i got this look then just keep watching all right guys. So welcome back to my channel. So today, i'm about to do my hair or tonight i'm doing my hair. This is gon na, be my birthday hairstyle, i'm hoping and praying. Oh, my gosh that my hair comes out good, i'm very confident in this wig i'm about to show you her she's real cute, you guys from hairv so um, i'm hoping that it comes out good. Actually, technically it's 1209, so it is officially my birthday um, but i'm not going out until tonight or tomorrow, night um, i'm just doing a dinner, so i decided to do my hair i wasn't going to, but i'm going to so i want this hair to be Laid okay, i need her to be laid, so i'm doing a ball cap method, i'm using glue, we're doing it all okay. So i'm hoping that this comes out right because y'all know i don't do all that, but i i just want my hair to look really good and i'm. My spirit is telling me to do this, so i'm gon na show you this wig, okay, one second, okay! So this is the wig that i'm gon na be wearing. I it's just so bomb like you guys this color. I don't think i've ever had a color like this. I do do a lot of browns and blondes, but this is more on the warmer side. More in the honey blonde, and when you guys see my dress, you guys are going to understand why i'm wearing this hairstyle, it's a very, like modest length, very sophisticated. I didn't want to do anything too long, because my dress is, it needs to be shown. It needs to be seen so you can understand, but um. I might break out some longer hair later on in the week, but for today this is it and what you guys believe. I did not pluck this hair line at all and i don't plan on it. Um because my plug game has been a little weak, so i'm so glad this hairline looks phenomenal like it looks so good. It came this color. I did not dye it and it's already layered. So what more can i ask for like happy birthday to me because, honestly, i'm talking to you guys now, but the rest of this video is gon na, be um, probably voice over style or you know just watch it enjoy, but um. This is like kind of a fake scout, but they don't call it a fake scalp. It'S like an invisa scalp, because this is very, very thin. This isn't as thick as the other caps. Whenever i do a ball cap, this is very, very, very thin, so um they call it an invisible scalp situation. All that will be in the in the description box. So what i'm gon na do right now is go ahead and do my ball cap method. I haven't done a ball cap method in like over a year, no cap, no pun intended so um. If it comes out good, i will show you guys, but i need to just focus and get my technique down right. I'Ve been watching a lot of videos and then i'll come back and i'm gon na do the wig on camera. Okay, so i want to show you guys the wig before i put it on um, just the construction and stuff of it, because i'm about to tint the lace. I ordered some lace tip, but i just waited too long. So it's not here yet and i'm going to use my huda boot, i'm going to use my huda beauty tantor in the shade light. The oh girl you are about done! This is done, but this is what it looks like um. It'S very close to my skin tone. As you can see, laresha uses this and um. It works really good. I just haven't used it in a while, but now i know why i haven't the cream just melts better in the cap, so i'm hoping and praying that this um that this is what i need it to do, because, as you guys can see it has this Little cap underneath - and this is why i'm doing the ball cap because it has this cap - and i don't want this to be shown - i'm going to show you guys what i'm talking about. So you guys see that little line. If i have the ball cap method, it's going to just kind of like help it all melt away, because everything will be scalped like when i put it up here. You can't see it, but when you see it against my hairline, so i basically have to do a bobcat method, um, so yeah, okay, so i kind of sort of lied. Literally, i was about to put the um cream on the cap and, like this cat, this little cap was lifting up slightly, so i just took it off. I felt like that was a sign of sign from god telling me to take it off, but i just want to show you. This is what the scalp look like. This is super thin super stretchy. I really, but it's durable too, like this would be a perfect ball cap like do you see how thin this is? I need this kind of cap to be my ball cap, but yeah. So now i feel like we're in there like swimwear. This is gon na be this is gon na. Be that girl, honey? Oh, yes, yes, okay, so i'll be back, so we're just gon na excuse my struggle wig cap, because i'm not good at them, but we're gon na get into applying this wig. Finally, today, i'm using some of erica j's products, i'm going to be using her um like adhesive guard skin guard, is a skin guard. So basically, it's going to like protect my skin from the glue which may the one of the main reasons why i don't use glue is because i break out really bad from it like it's like really bad and i've had this wig on for exactly a week. Now i literally just took it off as i'm recording as i'm doing this voiceover and i haven't broke out underneath the lace. So that's a good thing. I would highly recommend it and it kind of just gets rid of any extra oil so that your lace doesn't turn white or have like a weird texture to it. It'S just you know a good situation. So with this wig i did not have to cut the ear tabs. I just cut off the extra lace around the ears if that makes sense, but i didn't have to literally cut and shape to my ear tabs. If that makes sense, just you know run it back. If you don't get what i'm saying so now, i personally am not really familiar with um um the whole glue method, i'm literally taking this step by step. I didn't even watch too many videos on this because i mean there's only so many ways you can apply this. So i just kind of went back into the back of my bolt in the back of my head and just kind of did what i had to do so, i'm doing it in sections. I remember like a long time ago. Aaliyah did a video on how she laid her lace and she like started from the middle and then did the side ear tabs, and i prefer to do it like that. Then um put glue all around my hairline because i feel like with glue once some once the lace touches it. That'S it there's no taking it off and putting it back, because the lace is going to turn like this weird color, and i just don't like that. So i like to just take my time and really like measure what i'm doing and all of that. So this glue, as you can see, dries super fast and i love it. This glue is so good. You guys, like this glue, is freaking amazing, i'm not a goo girl. You guys know, i'm not impressed, and at this point i was regretting it, but i was just like you know we could just go keep going. If anything, i think my install was slacking a little bit because of my ball cap method. I really need to work on that, but i just can't seem to get it right ever and it's just too much of a hassle, but i love love, love this glue. It was super thin um, but in a good way, not in like a weird runny kind of way, and also it dried fast and it lasted long. Like i took my wig off, i took my wig off like the third day and then reapplied it, but only because i had got makeup in it and it just was like you know, stressing me out, but other than that it was good like it wasn't. Lifting or anything and it came off easily it wasn't super messy or thick it didn't mess up the lace. It was just a good situation. So if you have not tried her glue, get your hands on it literally, she just posted that she restocked it so try to get your hands on her glue. If you can, because honestly, it's worth the hype. Okay, so now i'm just cutting the lace off um, with my little scissors, i'm still gon na work on my glue. Installs, honestly, i feel like the glue install was that girl, so i'm going to try to do them more um in the future um, because i've been wearing my wigs longer honestly, because don't worry about trying to be changing their hair every day. It'S all the same. It'S all hair, okay, sis. So after that dried a little bit, i did spray it with some of the bed head hairspray and then i tied it down with the silk scarf and now i'm just gon na. Actually, like lay my hair, i want my hair to be flat. I want it to give me lace, so i'm just pressing the hair and yeah i sprayed a little bit of the got to be hair spray on it, because i feel, like that's one of the better hair sprays, to do that with and girl. Look at the lights, i'm going to lay um and i can't part my hair for crap, so my best friend helped me part it. I wanted like a curved part, because i wanted to do a side part and i just started to press my hair with the pressing comb and i literally went into the lace and started flattening it more. So it's going to get even flatter than this. If you just sit and watch and enjoy so this is my hair the night before and i literally wrapped it like wrapped it around like a silk wrap and then i took it down and went on about my day. So i got my makeup done for my birthday. I did not do my makeup, so don't be asking me about no makeup tutorial because i did not do my makeup. I repeat, i did not do my makeup. I repeat, i did not do my makeup, but it was snatch time it's a little different. I mean it looks the same, but just i mean for me because i do my makeup every day and i'm a makeup artist. I can see the differences and i was feeling it like. I. It was cute sis, okay, but um. I just came home right after i got my makeup done and i curled my hair. I did the same struggly curls! That'S why we're gon na skip through this? Okay and just enjoy so so i finished curling my hair and i put a little bit of powder. In my part, i use a powder, that's the same color as my skin tone. I don't need a powder, that's lighter! I just that. Just doesn't make much sense to me personally um and it makes my part look wider because naturally, when i part my hair, i don't have a skinny part. My parts be wide because i'm a little bald so yeah and then i just went and added a little bit of layers because i just wanted the hair to just like fall a certain way and i did curl my hair way before i went out because i Wanted it to drop, as you guys saw in the beginning of the video it just dropped a little bit. I want it to be more on the natural effortless kind of side, so i just added some layers, slight slight schleich, and you guys that was pretty much it. I just judged it up a little bit played with it until it was right, and you guys this completes my birthday hair. I hope you guys enjoyed it. Let me know what you guys think below.
