Hairvivi Victoria Wig Initial Review - False Advertising? - Watch Before Buying

Hi everyone, it's zoe, welcome back to my channel and today's video is going to be a review of the company here, vivi, which is a wig company and basically everything that you need to know before you purchase and everything that i would have wanted to know before. I purchased um yeah, there's not a lot of reviews on here that are not sponsored um. So that's what i'm really happy to do this review today. So also, i know some of y'all are probably thinking like this girl is a liar, because if you watch a couple videos ago, i know i was going on and on and on and on about how i hate wearing closures. I hate wearing wigs and frontals and all that and i couldn't stand it, but this wig is a little bit different. This wig already comes with everything done to it so yeah, so i'm gon na go ahead and get into that. I have a lot of stuff to cover with you guys so without further ado, i'm gon na go ahead and start off with the inside of the wig okay guys. So the first thing i'm gon na show you is the box that it came in. So it came in this kind of standard, just like black box, with the ribbon on it so inside the box, when you get it, it comes with quite a few like gift type items, so it comes with this comb. It comes with two of these little clips, which i'm very appreciative of because i use those for like everything. It also comes with an edge brush. One of those little edge brushed, slash comb type things so into the wig. So so the wig comes in this. Like long type of plasticky bag, so here is the hair straight out of the box. I haven't styled it yet or anything um. So i said this wig was a special wig, so let's get into why this wig is so special. So, first, okay, i'm going to show you guys the inside of the wig. So here is the inside of the wig. Not only does it come with these combs in the back, it also comes with and adjust. Well, i don't know if this would be called an elastic band or an adjustable strap. I think it's an elastic band, but it's like an adjustable elastic band, so i i know a lot of girls who wear wigs and a lot of girls will complain about the elastic band, giving them a headache and things like that. But with this it has little notches where you can loosen it or tighten it. That'S the first thing that i feel like is really special about this wig. So the second thing is, the wig is pre-plucked bleached and it already has the fake scalp method applied. So, oh and it comes pre-parted as well, so i chose the middle part when you're ordering you can kind of choose what part you want, but here is the part and how they plucked it. So i say: that's a pretty good part in my opinion, get close up on this okay and then i'm guessing that this mesh part right here is the fake scalp method. I'M not sure, but i think that's what that is. But what that's supposed to do is basically just prevent you from having to tint your lace or anything. I guess, because you can choose from two different colors. I think you can choose from either dark or light yeah. I chose the darkest one they had, and this is what it looks like and i'm just going to show you guys also really quick the parting space on this wig. The parting space goes like all the way back here, so you can part all the way from here to here, which is like a really deep part. So yeah i'm going to go ahead and cut the lace off of this and show you guys what it looks like on all right everyone. So i'm back um and i have cut the lace off the wig um and here is what it looks like here's, the part um just so you guys can see it. While it's on um, i haven't styled the hair at all. I haven't plucked, it straightened it. Nothing and then i'm going to try my best to show you guys this hairline here is what the hairline is looking like right now, without any plucking straight out of the box, and it looks okay, i mean i don't know we'll see after i style it all Right guys so um, i styled the hair and when i say styled all, i basically did i kind of took my hot comb here and just kind of tried to flatten out this part, and then i also went just kind of ran through it with my straightener. Really quick um and i used my wax sticks to get rid of any flyaways that i had, and so this is the finished product um, so yeah. Now i'm going to go through the website with you guys and go through what i actually saw when i was ordering um and basically um tell you guys about the customer service that i received and all that all those kind of things all right guys. So here is the homepage of the hairv website um and, as you can see, the very first wig is victoria. I guess is one of their best-selling wigs, and this is the wig that i have so. Let'S click on that so here is where you can choose the density. They either have 160 or 200, which this is supposed to be 200 um heavy density. So when you choose that your price goes up to 219. um and then here down here is where you can choose the length i chose 22 inches because that's what i got and that took it up to 3.99 um. Something very important about this is to pay attention to when it says it's gon na ship. So, as you can see when i chose the 22 inches, it says next to it, ships in seven days, so when it says ships in seven days that basically means that everything that they have to do to your wig before it ships it's going to take seven Days um, so yes be mindful of that um. So after that is, you can choose the cap size, small, medium or large. I chose large here. It says the large will ship in 60 days. That is crazy, like it didn't say that when i ordered it but yeah, that is ridiculous. But that's what it says. It says it: ships in um 60 days, so yeah, um and then here bleach knots are not bleached. I chose bleach in the pre-made, fake, scalp um and that's free. I chose the dark brown, so all in all this wig came out to be 418.90 um. Now, when i bought the wig, there was a promotion going on. I only had to pay. I don't remember how much i had paid, but i got money off for the promotion and i used paypal to pay and i had like a paypal credit in my account already, so i kind of didn't pay that much for this wig. I know i still paid around at least like three hundred dollars for this wig um, so yeah. So now i'm going to go ahead and get on to like the customer service part of things. So, as i told you guys before, i mean, as you saw um what you choose for your wig, the different customizations that you choose it's gon na depend how long your wig takes to ship. So i know for me when i order my wig. My processing time was two weeks, but i also did get um a part of that free promotion where you can get free express shipping, so i was one of the people. Originally, i didn't pay attention to the processing time i just kind of ordered my wig. I said: oh great, okay, great, you know free express shipping and you know i was waiting. So i think about after a week went past is when the first time i had to deal with customer service, because i didn't understand why i didn't have a tracking number. Yet - and you know naturally, i'm thinking i had express shipping and i haven't gotten a tracking number, so i was kind of like you know. What'S going on so um my experience with the customer service people, they were very helpful um. One thing i will recommend to you all is to use the chat feature on the website. I do believe that there are real people on there um typing back and forth to you and um anytime. I'Ve used the chat feature. I always got a pretty quick response. I know a lot of other girls were saying, i don't know if they're call they were calling in or if they were emailing in, but they were saying they didn't really have too good of experience with customer service. I had a pretty great experience with customer service. I would always just use that chat feature on the website and there was always somebody there to answer my questions and to explain it did ship out in after two weeks i got my tracking number and then it did come express shipping which i feel like took. Maybe about like three or four days and they are shipped from china. So now i'm just gon na tell you guys about my overall opinion of the hair um. As far as the hair goes, i mean the hair feels okay, it's not the most. It'S not the best hair i've ever felt in my life. It'S not that silky, it's just kind of like blah, and i mean yeah. That'S really. All i have to say about the hair is just some straight hair. There'S nothing special about it. It'S not extra silky! It'S not nothing special, so yeah, so my overall opinion of this wig and what i recommend it to you guys. Um, honestly, it really depends um, and it depends on like the type of person that you are, if you're a type of person like me, you don't know how to do anything with wigs. You don't know how to pluck a wig or bleach or knots, or you don't know how to sewing. You don't want to do an elastic band by yourself, like you know, if you're, that kind of person like i am, i think this is a really good company for you. If you, you know, if you really want to wear wigs - and you know you just don't know how to do all the extras, then you know go ahead. This is this, is you know for you um? But if you are a person who, if you have even the slightest idea of how to like, pluck um your frontal or bleacher knots um, you know i would not recommend this company to you just because there is so many other wig sellers out there. They might not have all the bells and whistles, but you can get a way better quality wig with a lot more hair on it, um for a way, cheaper price. And if you know how to go in and pluck your front frontal - and you know do all that kind of stuff, then you really have no need to use this company. If you know how to do the customization yourself um, so yeah, that's my opinion on it. Will i personally be buying from this company again i'm going to say i honestly don't know i i mean i might i know if i do order from this company, i can say i will be ordering like a deep wave type of thing or like a a Curly texture, because these straight wigs do not have enough hair at all and then, as far as my opinion on the company itself goes um. I think they did a really good job with customer service. They were prompt in their responses and i think they were honest about their shipping times. They tell you specifically right there when your shipping time or when your wig is going to ship out. They'Ll tell you, as you guys just saw. You know that wig said it was going to take 60 days, but they still put it there so that you would know what you're getting yourself into which i don't know. What could you possibly need, 60 days or to ship a wig, but i mean i don't know so, but anyway yeah? So i think you know i do like the company in that regard, i think um they did a good job just with their customer service side of everything. But what i don't like about the company is, i do feel like a lot of their products are falsely advertised um. The very first thing i want to point out that i feel like was falsely advertised was that they are marketing this wig and i have one right now as a glueless wig. I know that y'all can see it like look at this lace. It'S like, i would not be able to wear this without gluing it down like this part right here. It'S like it's lifting up, like you know like. I can't believe i just did that, but um yeah, nobody wants a lifted frontal like this, like out in public. The only reason i didn't glue it down right now is just because i really just wanted to show you guys the full effect of the wig like straight out the box and just how it really truly looks um but yeah. This is not a glueless wig like what, if i had to order this wig and pay all this money, and i get it and i what if i don't know how to glue a wig down like what. If i don't know anything about that - and i just ordered this wig because you told me - you know that it's glueless but i mean fortunately for me, i know how to at least like gel a wig down, but anyway so um. Another thing i feel like they falsely advertised was um the pre pre-plucked hairline, so i will give them the fact that this part looks amazing, like this is one of the best um parts that i've ever had on a wig that i didn't have to do. Absolutely anything to like no concealer, no plucking, nothing um. I will give them that for this part in the middle, however, for the hairline i for the hairline, it's a different story. I think if you truly want to wear this as a frontal where you can see you know the hairline and the frontal not only you're, going to have to glue it down, you're also going to have to do some additional plugging to the hairline, because yeah it's Plucked somewhat more than other wigs would come complex, but it's still way too thick, in my opinion, for it to be like truly a pre-plucked wig, like they advertise um and then also, i think my biggest biggest disappointment with this wig, like is the density of this Hair, that is the thing about this wig that i think really sends me over the edge of like i probably will never order from this website again, because this wig is supposed. This is 200 density like this is supposed to be 200 density, and this looks like one bundle of hair. Like look at this, i have bundles of hair. I bought bundles of hair like single bundles of hair that are like three times this, and this is 200 density, like that made me so upset. If you guys are gon na order from here. I'M gon na tell you this. You need to order the highest density. They have available because i would hate to see what anything less than this looked like so yeah, but anyway, guys.
