Best Fake Scalp Wig | Dola Hair Review

I gave it all for fantasy. Is anybody gon na? Remember me? If i go tonight, i got the water tank, hey y'all, it's myra! So today i am going to be doing a review for dollar hair. They sent me a 20 inch curly. I think it's brazilian hair um curly unit and i'm going to get into the specs on why i love this unit and i'm so happy that they sent it to me. I'M just going to show y'all what comes in the box really quick, okay, so the hair came in like this little like bag, that's like clear and it had the specs of the hair. I really think there is brazilian. Forgive me if i'm wrong, all the links and stuff will be down in the description to let you know what wig i have on or if you want to browse their other wigs um. But i know that they specialize in like fake scalp, wigs and that's what i have today and i'm gon na show y'all how that works. So in the in the box, they sent me this little bag that says dola, hair, it's so cute. I love getting these little bags because i am a dancer um, so i put a lot of my little toiletries in these bags, so i can organize my dance bag so yeah they sent me this, which was really really nice uh. They sent me two wig caps, but i already took those out and actually used them already, but they send you two wig caps. They also send me sent me this, which is a mirror brush. So it has like the mirror right here, and this goes out into a brush. I'M pretty sure most of us have had one of these before is to have these all the time when i was younger um, but it's it's like it's nice to put in your purse, so you can have that brush to brush out your hair, and they put This little card in here, let me take it out a little thank you card. I'M gon na keep this box just because it says hello gorgeous in the inside, like it's just such a cute nice box and it kind of got messed up, but not to the point where i can't reuse this box um. It has how to maintain your hair on the bottom of the box for those who need it, so let's get into the wig. So this is the wig that they sent me. I am so sorry y'all. I have worn this wig um a few times actually because i needed it for work and i, as y'all know, i took a little break from youtube and update. Video is coming very soon um. But this is the hair and they say they sent me 20 inches. But this is about a 24, because when you stretch it it it's really really long. So here's the curl pattern i recently washed it and in it is just a little bit of mousse and some serum just to like make it shine. It'S been sitting on my mannequin head, because i've been planning on doing this video so now we're gon na get into the real specs of this hair. So, as y'all can see, it has this fake scalp, and that is probably the best part of this wig. You don't have to wear a you, don't have to do a ball cap. You don't have to wear a stocking cap if you don't want to. If you want to protect your hair, you can. But this isn't really going to. You know: mess up your hair. The inside is soft, so yeah um only thing is you can't bleach the knots, but the knots aren't really thick or anything like that. So yeah um yeah. This is the hair. It'S about a 140 density. It'S like just thick enough if you like super thick hair. This may not be the wig for you, but if you like it more on the natural side, this is the wig for you, it's not to the point where you can see the tracks or anything, and it's actually quite thick after it like gets bigger, but this Is probably the perfect density for curly hair, in my opinion, so yeah i'm going to insert a clip of how this works um, basically like get really into the nitty-gritty on how it's set up. So i'm going to insert that clip right now. So, okay! So, as y'all saw um that's how the fake scalp works um, you really do not need a cap. So what i'm going to be doing today is installing this with just got to be glued spray. I'Ve been taking a break from um ghost bond because my edges is coming out, so i've been trying to like be a little bit more gentle with my hair. So that's why i'm going to be using the got to be glued spray? It comes out really really easily with alcohol or water. So that's why i've been using it so yeah, let's get right into it. Um. The first thing that you'll want to do is like brush your um, your edges, back, okay, so yeah. So the first thing you'll want to do is like brush your edges back. My edges grow all the way to my eyebrows, so it's kind of a hassle um just to make sure they're out the way you can put gel on them to really make sure they're out the way. But i only do that when i'm doing a bald cap method, so it's really not necessary. So i'm just going to put the wig on oh and also i forgot to tell y'all um it comes with these like things and it has a uh elastic band. It'S somewhere in here and i'd have to look for it um to make it glueless. If that's something you're more into so yeah, they give you that option, and you just hook it on like a bra to these little things, and you can make your wig glueless. So i'm just gon na put it on now. Okay, so, like i said, i've worn it. So it's already customized to my head. Um, it comes in the middle part. You can kind of part it on the side. It'S really meant to be worn as a middle part, so yeah um, just gon na start getting it together. So what i'll be using, like, i said, is the got to be glued spray, some mousse, some more serum and um water, okay, so yeah in some water and, of course, like you, know, rat tail, comb, paddle brush and your edges brush. So the first thing i'm going to do is spray. What i do is i spray from here all the way to here most of the time, so i can just do this little side, but if you want to do side, middle side or middle side side, it's up to you. However, you feel most comfortable. Some people spray the whole perimeter, but i just feel like starting from like this temple all the way and then just working with that works. The best for me, oh you'll, need of course, a blow dryer. So i already cleaned my perimeter with alcohol. That'S the first thing you want to do to make sure that it's nice and clean and to make sure that this it can adhere to yours to your skin. So i'm just gon na spray and don't be scared if it gets on your edges because, like i said this comes out really really easily with water or alcohol like really easy, so yeah now you're just gon na blow dry it on cool, so it becomes tacky. It doesn't take very long, i would say about 15 seconds, and then you want to start placing your lace down and you want to blow dry as you do this too, and just press it down with your fingers. It'S not going to leave a white mark. So, okay, now to do this little piece over here same process. So now, if you need to touch up any spots that maybe didn't stick you just want to spray a little got to be and just blow dry it and do the same thing. On top of the lace, so there's a spot right here and for this i'm gon na use my rat tail comb to like do it down. I don't know when i spray it. On top of the lace i like to use a rat tail cone, [ Laughter, ], so okay, so that is it with the um gluing down. Of course, i'll do a better job but y'all like i'm, not wearing this wig. The baby hairs are hard from the last time i wore this. So excuse that so now i'm going to do the baby hairs. I'M just use this cheap mousse to do them. Okay, so i really have already like touched the curls up, but i will show y'all the hair like wait and the curls really are like a ringlet curl um. Most of these companies have like curly hair, but it's really wavy, but this hair is actually curly. It'S lifting y'all, but please, like just know, like i'm, rushing through this, because i need to get this video out so yeah. Here'S this this side, curly, i'm gon na put some mousse okay. So this is the hair, wet and yeah, so i'm gon na get into the fake scalp. It looks really really really good. Um, like as y'all know, i don't have a stocking cap or ball cap method, nothing going on under here. It'S just my hair. So that's what that looks like um, of course, like if i was to really really install this wig i'll wait which i have before like i said, there's pictures on my instagram i'll, probably insert them right here too. So y'all know what it really looks like. Okay, so, as y'all saw like it looks a lot better when i actually put it on, but this isn't what i'm going to be wearing for the next few days, so um yeah, that's what that looks like that's my favorite part of this wig, like i don't Have to do a bald cap method that gets excessive, it gets old, i get started doing it. So, yes, the pros and cons of this week pros are the curls. I love the curl pattern. If you really scrunch it up, it's like an actual like curl. To me, it's not a wave, it's a curl um. Another pro is, of course, the um fake scalp, the lace blends into my skin, there's lace at the front it blends into my skin, really really good. The lace is nice and thin. It'S almost like hd lace. It really is technically hd lace like you, can't really see it um another pro. Is it doesn't tangle like that, of course, it's curly hair, so you're not gon na be running your hands through it, but as far as like it's like the snagging, when i wash it or something i don't get any of that. It'S really really really like smooth and i haven't got any tangles uh. It sheds a little bit barely at all. It really doesn't shed um it'll shed when i'm brushing it, but as far as like all this extra, it's not it's not shedding so yeah um. The cons there are a few. The lace does not go ear to ear. As you can see, this lace stops about right here and i still have all this area right here that i would need lace. Um y'all can see better on this side. This is my hair right here, so the lace stops like right there um. It is what it is uh. I would wear it like this. I wouldn't do no updo or anything like that. So that doesn't bother me too much, but it is something that i do not like about this wig um another con uh. I don't think there's any more cons really it's just because of the lace not going all the way like 13.. I would say it's about 11, like an inch off of each side, which is kind of annoying, because it's kind of like i didn't get the full thing. But if that's not something that you're worried about, like i said when i have it looks natural because my hair is right here, but if you're somebody that's going to do a bald cap, no matter what this isn't going to work for you, so yeah um.
