Hey y'all all right, this Vlog is going to be super long, so let's go ahead and get right into it. Back in August Late July, I took the last batch of custom wig, making orders you guys, and this is where my clients Supply their own bundles or I provide the hair to custom, make their wig from scratch. So once I received all the bundles, I took pictures of them and I sent them to my clients to confirm this is what you sent. This is what I received here are the bundles that you wanted the links, pattern, everything and once I get that confirmation, I go ahead and jump right into softening the knots with 40 volume developer. That'S what I'm doing here. While that was softening up, I went and started doubling up the tracks, the wefts just so that I could fit every bundle onto each wig that I custom make, and that's what you guys see me doing here after about 15 minutes of softening the knots I went Back and started actually bleaching the knots and softening the knots just helped so that I can give more of a scalp like a appearance when I bleach knots, because I, as of late, the Nazis, have not been bleaching on their own. So a girl have to do like a double process, type of thing. Nevertheless, I did that and I went ahead and I custom made every single wig from this last custom, wig making restock you guys. I was so sad when I had to take this service away, but y'all I'll explain a little further in detail um as we continue on this Vlog, because I have so much to update you guys. I don't know I felt like talking and updating the girls as a wig maker with the wig business I like to keep it real: it's not always Glitz and glams diamonds, rainbows and butterflies when it comes down to running a business. That'S why, when I do my business and behind the scenes Vlogs I like to come with my hair undone, no makeup whatsoever, because I want to show you guys the real and raw of what goes down when running a small wig making business but yeah. Here. I am just packaging up these orders and as long I'm going to share with you all some updates, some things that that are new, some things that are coming back. Some of the Shopify apps that I've added to my store just to kind of share with anyone out there that has a wig business. Some of the things that I am now incorporating with this go around of coming back to work after a long hot. It is definitely continue watching if you are interested. I have to update you guys on what's been going on behind the scenes with my wig business first thing. First last month I took the last orders the last batch of orders for custom wig, making I no longer make wigs from scratch, using hair provided by the client or through me. I I got pretty burnt out with that service. It takes a lot out of me. Granted I use the sewing machine, so it's a lot faster and it's a better turnaround. Time to you know, make the wig and send it out to my clients and customers, but I started experiencing lower back pain from sitting at my workstation for hours and hours at a time just making Wicks and that little back pain turns into something much bigger. So let's go ahead and you know eliminate that so yeah I decided to no longer be a wig maker, but I still wanted to provide custom, wig services and things like that. So let me go ahead and share with you guys what I've been doing now. I am still providing custom. Wigs they'll just be pre-made wigs through my vendor that I'll bleach, the knots on style pluck do everything so that it's ready to be worn for my clients, my client literally just has to cut the lace, no Salon, no stylist, no appointment needed um, so I'm still Providing that service, but only with Wix provided through my company now I've been testing Raw Hair vendors for the last year or so, and I finally finally finally found the perfect Factory to supply hair extensions, if you guys are getting a first look at those Mateo extensions. This is a 10 inch Southeast Asian bundle, so I did the Hang tag on Vistaprint like so we are bringing back the hair, extensions and lace closures. I'M so excited about doing that. I am also bringing back glueless, wigs, meaning I'll, be providing pre-made 4x4 5x5 and 6x6 closure. Wigs they're going to be in 200 density and up so they're going to be super duper full and I finally, finally, finally am adding u-part wigs for the girls who do not want to deal with lace, closures or lace at all. If you want to do leave out honey, if you're a leave out lady, I got you. I have four different patterns that I wanted to um utilize for the Youth part wigs, because I feel like if you're gon na leave your hair out. You want it to blend the best, so I did silky straight Yaki straight, which is my favorite loose deep wave and body wave. Okay, everybody's favorite pattern: I've been working with this vendor since 2019. Okay, so I told them exactly how I wanted the? U part to be made and they made it. They put the Combs right where I wanted them to be, and then they also add the size tag. So this is a size medium. They did it exactly how I wanted it like. Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, that way. If my client decides that she wants to sew the wig down, she still can so here's how it looks at the top - and here is the pattern. This is so perfect, and this type of pattern is my favorite for curling, and if you wanted to add crimps to it, you can one of people's favorite. This is like a People's Choice pattern right here, yes and make sure Helen did her thing. She sure did - and I tell her please make sure that the factory includes the size. Here is the straight? U part unit! This is Virgin Hair. This quality right here reminds me of raw hair, and I told them my specifics. I wanted two inch wide and four inches long so that not that much hair would have to be left out having a vendor that you can communicate like all of your wants and needs to is, like super duper. Important look at how full this wig is here. We have the Yaki straight, so this is not kinky straight. This is a Yaki texture, so it's more of like a relaxed type of textured hair. This pattern is perfect for, like my 4C girls, because I'm a 4C girl, so this is perfect for the girls who are natural with kinky coily hair. I think this is going to be the first one that I actually install on myself when I do like my demo videos. I am so happy to have this texture, this texture in, like my collection, and I told them my specifics - I wanted three wig combs at the top one in the nape. I wanted it to be on a black mesh cap like so, and they did it exactly. How I wanted it my vendor, definitely snaps like I love the fact that she listened to everything that I wanted all the details and everything she followed suits. So I'm I'm excited about adding you part wigs to my wig collection. The next thing that I have to do is pretty much style. The wigs put them on my display mannequin, take pictures, take product pictures and update the website because October 1st is around the corner, and I have to make sure that the site is ready. Another thing that I wanted to update or upgrade were the freebies that I included with each order, but wholesale, as of lately, has not been wholesaling like the prices that I've been quoted. As of lately when it came down to what I wanted to include. They just ain't been in the budget like so, as you guys can see. I am on alibaba.com. I was talking to this one vendor because I wanted to include Denman brushes and wide tooth Combs, along with you know, retail Combs, eyelash, um tweezers, and things like that. I wanted to get a whole bunch of these items just as freebies to include with each order that I received. So this is this, is the comb Jada is acting up, but this is the comb that I wanted. I wanted uh 25 of these, along with 25 black Denman brushes for, like the curly deep wave loose deep, wave, wigs y'all, the price that I was quoted for this was 360 freaking dollars, 360 dollars um, because the moq was 50. I ended up having to be quoted um this much so I was gon na get 50 pieces of the wide tooth comb, the brushes and all that stuff, but I don't need 50 pieces. First of all, my office space is very little. I don't want to have a whole bunch of clutter up in here, I'm not looking to spend 300 for 50 brushes, 50 Combs and all that, so your girl went on she in.com, okay, she in.com. This is my order right here. I place an order for 25 Combs, 25 Denman brushes 25 rat tail. Carbon um Combs and 25 rose gold, tweezers. Okay, I placed my order for all of those items and it came up to 113 dollars 113 dollars y'all. I literally just used. She in as my whole seller for what I needed um to provide to my clients: work: smarter, not harder, okay, so I just finished counting up all of the brushes the Combs, the way to comb the carbon heat resistant, rectal cone and the rose gold tweezer. I just finished counting them up. I have 25 of each, so I'm able to go ahead and include a tweezer, because the reason why I wanted to tweezers is because I include lashes with my orders, so I did hold. The lashes still matches the aesthetic for my brand, so I decided to go with that, and these brushes are so good for detangling. So I had to get my hands on these. I'M actually going to go back because they were only a dollar each I'm gon na go back and order. Like 100, more of these, I finally finally received my shipment of fans. Okay, let me show you guys how my factory sent them to me. These are just little mini fans if you do your own wig installs at home. You know how loud your blow. Dryer is. Okay, so I searched hot and low to find a factory that would provide fans that look like hair dryers, okay and they're, so stinking cute y'all. What I like about this fan is that it has up to five speeds, so here's the here's the first setting, then it goes up to two three four, five. Okay, this is the highest. It goes. This is the highest that it goes, but it's still a lot more quiet than your average blow dryer and I like to use these fans for when I'm doing my wig installs and I'm using my lace gel. These are perfect because I like to do my hair at night. I don't know about anybody else, but uh yeah, so it came with a stand and a charging cord. Now the thing that I love even more about this is your girl is including a charger block. Okay, I'm including a charger block with this, so I cannot wait to put this on the website now. One thing I had to learn pretty quickly is that branding is everything and I can't just shut them off like this in the box that the manufacturer sent them to me in. So I found these boxes on Amazon and I went ahead and I did a transfer sticker of my Brand's logo right here like so, and when I get to packaging the orders I'm gon na include a thank you sticker. I already ripped it off, so I can show you guys how it's gon na look and it's going to come bubble. Wrap it's going to come bubble, wrap like this, with all the accessories in it just to ensure that it's shipped safely and then I have these shipping boxes with my brand tape and I included black and gold packaging confetti for more of a secure shipping. I'M going to put the Box in like that and take the top, so that was like probably the best way for me to ship out the fan so that they're they're not going to break or anything like that. But yeah. You part photos put up on the website and now the last thing that I want to do is go ahead and make sure like I am ready to take orders. So I'm going to go in my apps area and I'm going to make sure that I update my ETA app, which is the estimated delivery date. What this app helps me to do is set the expected time as far as like the expected order to ship by date, when my clients place an order, they're able to see that their order is going to ship by a certain date. So I like to go ahead and upload all the products up in here update the time frame, um, it's usually seven to ten days for hair extensions, the wig tools and accessories that are ready to ship, they're, usually one to two business days and then any custom. Color service with maintenance service is usually up to about 14 business days for um. You know the item to be shipped, so I just wanted to update my website with that. Another free app that I like to use with my Shopify website is the stamp product review app, which allows people to leave reviews I like for this email to be sent out two to five days after my client has received their item once it says, delivered two To five days afterwards, an email is going to um, be said, asking for a review. I get to see when customers open the email and everything and that lets me know that you actually receive your item, because if you didn't, you will be emailing me and letting me know um that you did it. But this is just another way of having like some type of contact with your customers. I love this app because once I customize my settings and I set the time frame and what I want them to review or what I want the email to say it literally just does everything on its own. I like to just go back and double check to see if the email was actually sent out and if the customer has um has opened or responded, or anything like that. So this app here the fraud block fraud prevention is another app that I like to utilize. If there is a high risk order placed on my shop, it's put here and it's automatically canceled, because Shopify already has a feature where they automatically flag the order, and it's up to me to determine whether or not I want to cancel it or continue on with That order - and then I have this contact form Builder here and this form pretty much - is what I use for each customer that place their order on my website. Okay, um. They have to do the purchase authorization form. So I went ahead and I built my form. It'S just a plain text form where they pretty much just say that they're authorized to use the card that they're using and they have to provide their proof of identification. I want to go to the actual purchase authorization form page so that you guys can see how it looks on the website. So the purchase authorization form just pretty much looks like this, and then they click submit and everything is good to go, and this is just one of those things that I added to protect myself from chargebacks or fraudulent orders, because then I have a proof that um It was willingly placed through um, the customer or client, and you know I didn't go in and do it myself. They literally did it. So I added that feature to the website. So right now, if I were to go to my website, this is what comes up. We return in one day in 12 hours. Oh my gosh, I'm so excited about that because I'm back I'm glad to finally be back into the swing of things. I really am excited about getting back to work and getting back to what I truly truly love. I hope that you guys enjoyed this video, it's kind of different from, like my other Vlogs, I just kind of wanted to come up on here and talk to the girl tour in the same industry as me, and let them know what I'm doing so, that if I can Inspire somebody else, then you know I did my job but yeah I'll see you guys in my next video. Thank you so much for watching bye,
