Now, i'm showing you guys how to do this infamous rubber band style on this curly lace, front wig, today, all right! I'Ve done this plenty times in this hairstyle, don't miss, let's get into it. Now y'all saw them curls, okay period. That was really bouncy, just really uniform, really juicy. Now, of course, when we wet the wig, the curls are gon na loosen up and look a little different, but i'm sure it's gon na look really pretty even then, because this wig is thick y'all, i'm not sure what density it is, but i'm gon na make Sure that all the information is in the description below alright, so my model raven aka scoob. She wants a hairstyle that i used to do back in the day on frontals. Now let me tell y'all a really funny story: okay, so the first time i did, this hairstyle was on light skin keisha and it was her idea. She had the colorful rubber bands and it was. She had like a whole plan right. So in my mind, i'm thinking like, like you know no one's ever asked me for this, like i don't even know, if i can do it right, but you know when it comes to clients wanting something you really don't say. No because it's like a personal challenge to yourself all right, so basically i ended up doing the hairstyle right and it came out really really cute. I made sure i put a little bit of makeup in between the parts so look like scalp and y'all. When i tell you it looked so natural right - and this is when frontals was - they were like gaining in popularity, but like people really haven't been doing all the crazy styles and colors that people are doing today, so i posted it on facebook and i promoted it. So it was like an influx of you know: people that loved it. But then you know when you have more people, you have more haters, so it was a bunch of people saying oh, this stylus doesn't have no integrity. This is obviously real hair she's making. It seem like it's a frontal when it's not - and i was just like - oh my gosh - these girls don't even know so y'all. I was literally laughing at that for, like the entire year, like we were both laughing at that, because it's like no integrity. Okay, girl see back then like back in the day day when facebook ads used to actually make your post go viral for like 20 dollars, man, that is really the time galaxy girl grew like the fastest and the largest. Now, unfortunately, i don't have my facebook fan page anymore and i have no interest in getting it back um unless i'm just dying to do facebook ads, but not right now, but back in the day, y'all like you could literally boost a post for like ten dollars And get 50 000 views on a video like listen. These advertisement, hacks are no joke. Now, unfortunately, like as time went by, facebook was not giving you as much exposure for your buck, so i don't know like maybe in 2021, if you put in 10 to 20 dollars, for you know, boosting a video or flyer you may get. I don't know. 2. 000 views 3, 000 views or whatever, but it's nothing like how it used to be. But for all my men and women out there who are entrepreneurs and have their own businesses, and you know, want to think of ways to attract more people and a bigger audience. And more clientele then try boosting posts on instagram and facebook um. I used to do like a dollar a day like if i was really trying to go crazy. I would do like three dollars a day to five dollars a day, and you know doing that. Type of online advertisement will really boost your business. Um. Of course, there's two different types: you can boost a post and then you can do the ads manager where it targets specific buyers that have actually bought from the facebook app. So yes, look into those. If you want to grow your business, all right, you guys. So, let's get back into this install all right so right now i am separating the baby hairs from the other hair, because i do not want my baby hairs to get tied into this hairstyle um, because you know once some hair is locked up in the rubber Bands, it's you know it's going to be a hassle to take them out, so i'm going to make sure they are separated and then i'm going to wet the hair, because i always do my styles wet alright. So now that i have my tropical root setting foam saturated in the hair and it's nice and wet now, i can start doing my triangles now, when you are doing this style, guys make sure that you start with a central triangle. Okay, this one is not a diamond, it is just a triangle in the middle, this will be your base and your go-to when you're trying to figure out your pattern and keep it neat so make sure this is really the perfect. The most perfect triangle you got and the thing is like when you're doing the diamond triangle diamond triangle, you know pattern, you really have to look at all the lines and make sure that it's straight lines throughout the entire hairstyle, because when you're on your second and Third row you'll realize that the shapes are gon na kind of get distorted a little bit and you don't want it to get too distorted or it's gon na make the hairstyle look. You know not as neat as possible. It'S gon na start looking sloppy and you don't want that. So first, i'm doing some triangles on the front row and then we're going to slowly move backwards. So another reason why i need to have the hair wet when i do the rubber band hairstyle is because it's easy to just slide the hair through the rubber band multiple times when the hair is wet, when the hair is dry, man it'd just be getting all Over the place, it'd be flyaways all over the place and it's just a hassle. So even when you're doing this style on straight hair, then i would highly recommend you wetting it or you know just having a spray bottle beside you also. Also. Another thing is, you know, even though this hairstyle may look super neat. It may look tight and stuff like that, but it's not tight at all. Okay and the reason, why is because this ain't real hair? Okay, this is a frontal and your frontal will pull back and become a backup, so make sure that your rubber bands are not too tight, and that's one thing that also you know wet hair provides. It makes the styles look a lot neater and a lot tighter when they're actually not tight at all like. If you would have asked the raven you know, do you feel your funnel pushing back or does it feel like it's pulling? She would have told you no, because i make sure that you know it's not pulling alright, alright, alright, alright, so our first row of triangles are done, and we've already did our first diamond now we're doing our second diamond. I'M gon na make sure that all these lines are straight and neat and if it's not listen fix it. Okay, because this hairstyle can look sloppy very easily alright. So, basically, from here on out, i'm just going to continue doing these diamonds and i'm not going to show you guys. You know all of them because it might get kind of boring. But i will show you how we're going to finish up the style and what we're doing to the hanging hair. Now this hairstyle normally is. I guess like halfway done technically, because we're supposed to take all the hanging pieces and connect them, so it can make like extra diamonds, but when we looked at it, we were like hold on hold on hold on. This is cute, so we're just gon na. Let them hang down and it kind of reminds us of like a cool cute, 90s swag, so yeah we both approved and we loved it. So we're keeping it like this and as i do my baby hairs, you know i'm kind of looking at it and i'm like i don't know they look kind of thick and i don't want to spoil this entire hairstyle by leaving the baby hairs too thick. So you know, don't be lazy, don't be a lazy hairstylist. You know really love the style, really get the art perfect, because we are artists and if you feel like the baby, hairs are too thick, don't be scared to pull out your tweezers and take a little hair out now. The people that are subscribed to my channel y'all can probably tell that these are my old baby hairs like my baby. Hairstyle has completely changed, but i mean it's not bad. So the parts looked pretty natural to me. I feel like if i added makeup it will just be an overkill, so i'm just leaving it like this all right.
