Start To Finish Wig Re-Install: Glue Removal, Haircare, Glue-Less Wig Application, Therm Pouch

Hi, everyone welcome back happy holidays, so i wanted to share with you how i prep my wig for reinstall. This wig is the same wig i wore last week, so i'm going to show you how i clean the lace. First, a lot of you have asked me how to clean, wig adhesives off of your lace. So for me a lot of times my wig adhesive is stuck to my head more so than it is the lace. So i don't get much residue on the lace, but what i like to do is take a little bit of oil and i'll spray it on top of that wig adhesive, that's on the lace and oil is going to break down that glue so that it can Just roll off this is also what i use if the glue is stuck on my hair or on my forehead or wherever, so i'm just taking a toothbrush, a soft toothbrush, and i am rubbing back and forth over top of that glue adhesive. I also like to make sure that i clean my lace after each install, because if i don't, what will happen is that glue will build up over time and it is harder to get off the lace when you have too much of it on there. So this can take between five to twenty minutes, just depending on how much glue i have build up on my lace, i find that removing glue off the lace is never an easy task for me and that's just because it is glue, but that's why a lot Of times i am using the hair sprays or the gels because they are water soluble, so they're going to just come off very easily if you wet them with water or if you use shampoo, conditioner or whatever. So i'm just going to continue to scrub off this glue using this toothbrush and, as you can see, it's starting to already just come up and it's only been like a minute or so so this took me about five minutes all together to get this little bit Of glue off and like i said my lace, don't have a lot of build up on it because i clean it every single time. I take my wig off okay. So now my lace is clean and that's ready for install the rest of the little pieces will come off during the wash. So let's move into washing the wig so for hair care, i like to keep a regimen where i'm using lots of conditioner and minimum shampoo. So these are the two products that i use now i used to do an old school technique where i take my hair and put it in a plastic bag or put in a microwave, however, that all changed when i found the therm pouch to me, the therm Pouch is something that you need when it comes to your wig maintenance routine, because it's travel friendly, and it's made specifically for your wigs and hair extensions. I use this with every wash or every other, wash to deep condition. My wigs it's very convenient. It'S so simple to use, and it keeps my old wigs, looking very nude and it gets the health back into them. So this is what the inside of it looks like. As you can see, this is removable so that you can rinse that out. After you finish, you know deep conditioning so that you can clean it with ease, i'm going to take a small amount of shampoo, and i just use enough shampoo that will kind of clean the hair without making it overly dry, because shampoo can be very drying. So i make sure to rub that lace around get all of that extra oil that i put on the lace off, and i also take that shampoo down the hair. After that, i will add some conditioner, so i use a lot of conditioner. As you can see, my bottle is even bigger than my shampoo bottle, but this is how much conditioner i use, and i will put that all over the hair making sure to get the roots to the tips. I have not found that conditioner causes any type of shedding with my hair extensions. It does not cause any problems. The only thing conditioner a good conditioner do for my wigs is make them look good and last long, so i'm lathering that conditioner all over the hair making sure to get every strand and with this wig being a longer length, it's very important to pay attention to The ends so i'm going to go ahead and put this wig into the therm pouch and it's already heated up um. It does come with a setting, low or high, so i just put it in there. So it's preheated, i have my setting, i believe, on high yeah. I have it on high, so i'm just let that sit in the therm pouch for about 15 minutes. You don't need it any longer than 15 minutes, especially on a high setting. So, let's move into the reinstall for the application i'm doing today, i'm not using any wig adhesive, i'm just showing you how this wig can be applied without it. Just in case, you don't want to use that, so this wig does have the fake scalp method on the inside. It is a double fake, scalp method, um. This is a 26 inch wig. You guys seen the length of it in my last video that i shared, so i'm not going to stand up or anything in today's video but, as you can see, i've already put the wig on and it's not glued down and, as you can see, it lays Very flat, without glue or anything, i showed you guys the routine on how i clean the hair clean the lace. So that is what keeps my wig looking so fresh and shiny and just healthy. So i'm just adding a little bit of hairspray right here at the forehead just so that that area can lay flat, i'm not putting hairspray anywhere else. I just want it right there at that center because, like i said this is a glueless install that i'm wearing a today has a lot of length to it. This is a straight texture. This definitely helps to maintain your wigs and it's a must-have for anyone who wear hair extensions or wigs. I think it's very important to have something that you can travel with, have something that is convenient and have something specifically for your hair extensions. If you color your wigs, you can process color faster by putting the hair inside of here when you deep condition your wigs, that's what you're doing with this pouch. It gives the hair lots of body lots of shine lots of moisture. So, therefore, the hair looks healthier. It helps to revive your older wigs. Your wigs are just sitting around pretty sure they're drying out. This will be very beneficial to your wig. Wearing regimen helps to restore your wigs by opening up the cuticles on the hair, using the heat that it provides, which allows the conditioner to deeply penetrate the hair. Keep your wigs looking fresh if you go on vacation and your wig just need a refreshment after you finish, partying or whatever you'll have this handy, you can take it out and use it anytime, a anywhere hey!
