Four: five: seven hours, seven hours, just taking down breadboard hibo, look at how clean it is like wow and it feels so soft love. It love it love it. Hey, hey, y'all! Welcome back to my channel. My name is tando. Had everything you here welcome to like this video comment, share and subscribe, so on today's video we're doing something a little bit different, we're taking down my braids and doing a wash day, routine of which um it's something different, that I've never done on this channel before Anyway, as you guys can see, I am cutting my braids right now. So a lot I like to cut my braids like two centimeters, just after my real hair, like it's easier to identify your raw hair with ever as compared to like relaxed hair. I don't know if anyone has ever experienced that if you did please let me know in the comments section down below but like I have before like cut by hair while trying to cut my braids and if you've done that you know the pain. You know how painful that is in a way, I'm also considering like doing short braids after these braids, because I'm just like I'm gon na look good in short braids like y'all, saw that, like, I think, I'm gon na look really really really good anyway. Before I start like taking down my braids, I tie them just so that, like they don't disturb me, while I'm trying to take down everything - and then I spray my hair with water, because also my hair is a little bit dry or it was a little bit Dry, just before I take down my braid so like to minimize breakage and lots of hay, I had to spray it with water and moisturizer. Just before I take down the braids now there's one thing that I did that I still ask myself why I did it, which is like trying to take down the braids of my hands like who has ever done that. But I tried that and I failed. So I had to like continue with the comb from then onwards, but like I would have used um that chopped corn, because Combs that I like sharp at the end. I just couldn't find one. I think I left it in the room that I told you guys that, like I lost the key too so yeah but like the africom worked worked better than the fingers. So I'm happy with the results. So I literally take down each braid with the comb, and then you see how that looks Tangled then um, I tried to detangle it without water and then I had to like spread it, and then it was easier to detangle. So that was that the whole purpose of having the water with me to like make the detangling process easier, even though, like it was like not like proper detangling but like it did the work. Okay - and I was happy with it - so we're just gon na - do that like for every braid, literally each and every braid in my hair, the baby. To be quite honest, I hate the whole process of taking down my Brave's life. It it always takes forever and it was it was just taking the longest time like come on. I was tired. I was really really tired, because this was like six hours later. I think so. It took way longer than I thought and I hated it and I had to wish to buy. I had gone to like a salon or something and asked them to take down my braids, because this is not what I signed up for. I genuinely thought it was gon na take two hours or something, but it's whatever. You know that excitement when you get to the last braid like when you've been taking down your braids for hours and then you get to that last one. I can scream right now, like I've, never been so happy like. I hated this whole process, but I had to do it for YouTube. I guess like I had to do it like it's content at the end of the day and like I've been wanting to do a hair video on my channel, so this was a good chance for me to actually do her, video and yeah. I basically went through all of this full content yeah, so you can't tell me that I don't love you guys like like. I went through all of that suffering, just just for you guys so like like come on, like you can't tell me that I don't love you like like come on, come on come on that actually took longer than I thought I generally thought um. I was gon na take like two three hours and then I'd be done. I started around 11. and right now. It'S five minutes to 7 P.M. So that means twelve one, two three four five: seven hours, seven hours just taking down braids. I thought I was also going to wash my hair today. It ain't happening, I'm tired, I'm just gon na you know, wear this hate in like twist outs, just like four of them and then I'm gon na take a shower and go to bed. Like I'm sorry, I'm gon na do my wash day routine tomorrow. Also because tomorrow is um. Tomorrow is a Saturday so yeah. I think I'll just do that tomorrow morning, right now, I just I just wanna, take a shower eat and go to bed so um yeah. I'M Bots and bored guessing hibo, so those like two days later, please don't ask me. Where was I with my dirty her, but I know is that I looked good out there with my dirty hair. Anyway, I started by rinsing off my hair with water and then go over with my Organics um, shampoo and conditioner, which is literally shampoo and conditioner mixed into like one product, I'm not sure if I'm making sense like it's literally one thing. So if you like, a lazy girl, like you, don't want to put on conditioner after washing your hair with shampoo, then you could just use this and then you'll be done with your day process anyway. I massage that into my scalp and just wreck the whole product into my hair because, like yeah there's a lot of products built up. It'S been a month and two weeks literally, so I just massage my scalp just like keep on doing that process, and then I also get my detangling brush and use it as a scalp massager. It actually feels really really nice. I don't usually have like a lot of dandruff, but it helps like remove any dandruff that could be like down there in your scalp or whatever. I should actually like get a scalp massager anyway. Once I finish with that, I rinse my hair with the water, obviously, and then I repeat, the whole process again like apply shampoo into my hair, massage my scalp and use a as uh. What is this? Not a scalp massage, I almost had a scalp massager use a detangling brush as a scarf massage and then massage my scalp. Until I am satisfied and then once I'm satisfied with the whole process, then I rinse my hair with water foreign and then I'm gon na go over with my moisture boost conditioner from Palmer's coconut oil formula, which is literally my favorite natural hair brand. My hair loves their stuff: okay, Palmer's, coconut oil and afro botanics. My number one Brands anyway, I'm gon na apply that into two sections. So I usually section my hair into four parts and today because I was lazy - I just sectioned into two parts and then I'm just gon na apply as much product as I can don't be stingy with it just apply as much as you can and then work That product into your hair, while working that product you're also detangling, look at that. So use that as an opportunity to also detangle. I find it easier to detangle um with um conditioner instead of shampoo, because the conditioner is smooth. So your hair does not break as it would when you roll like detangle. While you have shampoo um on your hair, I'm not sure. If I'm making sense, I don't know how do you guys detail all your hair, I detangle on my hair, once I have conditioner on anyway, I'm gon na go over with my detangling brush, which I bought from Checkers. Then um. I section um see the two sections. I section them into like small parts and then detangle detail or until I'm satisfied and then twist that small section out and then go over to the next section detail with my hands and then detangle with the detangling brush and then just like that and, like I Said make sure that there is enough products there needs to be enough products for the whole detangling process to be smooth so yeah and look at that brush and look at the amount of hair that I lost. It'S actually not a lot of hair. I used to lose a lot of hair um before I cut my hair. I don't know what was wrong honestly but, like my hair, is in a better place than it was like two three years back anyway. Now that I'm done, I'm gon na cover my hair with a shower cap and I'm gon na allow that to sit for a good 15 to 20 minutes. And then, while I wait for the 20 minutes, I'm gon na take a shower and just do um a normal shower routine. I'M nothing much! Nothing special! So I'm just gon na do that. For that 20 minutes and yeah, I know the actual product. It says three to five minutes, but I allow the product to sit longer. It works for me and I'm just gon na continue doing what works for me, foreign anyway. The 20 minutes is over. So I'm Gon na Roll, my shower cap and start undoing those twists out and when I tell you that my hair loves this stuff, I want you guys to look at that. Curl pattern. Look at that! You can't tell me that you don't love that honestly. I love it when my hair coils, like that, I love it. When I see that the product is working. I just love seeing my hair in these days. It'S literally my favorite thing so yeah, I'm gon na undo, each and every twist out and rinse my hair once I finish, but I just want you guys to take the time and look at that hurt just look at it. I absolutely love it, and that is why it's important to make sure that you apply inner products just apply enough products, and I noticed that, like the products don't run out um very quickly, like I don't run out that quick, I use it for like a good Two three months, so I don't buy products every now and then and I know that natural hair products are expensive, but it's all worth it because look at that look at that come on come on anyway, let's rinse, the hair with water. Thank you, foreign and then, once I'm done rinsing my hair, I'm gon na cover it with a head wrap, which I got from the crazy store before I would use like my big t-shirts to cover my hair or like my towel, but, like I leaned more towards T-Shirts anyway, I'm gon na, let that sit for a while and let it absorb all the water. Before I continue with my carrot cake now that the hay is dry, I am gon na remove the head rib, it's not 100 dry! It'S just that, like all the water is like in that head, wrap it absorbed all the water. Like, I told you guys it's very good at absorbing anyway, I want you to look at my hair. I want you to look at that. Curl pattern. Look at the texture, it feels so soft and um. I think I am a 4C. I'Ve never been too fussy about like hair types, the hair porosity or whatever. I don't know if I have high or low porosity, but I think my hair is a 4C anyway. I am gon na start by applying my hair polishing serum, which is from Palmer's coconut oil formula. I told you these are my peoples. This is my brand love them. I hope they love me back one day anyway, we're gon na apply a generous amount of that onto my hair. It'S usually the first step, but, like I, don't apply this product all the time. It just depends on my mood really but um yeah we're gon na apply that and work that product I gained into my hair. It it has this feel to it man I love it. I love. I love how it makes my hair feels it feels even softer once I start applying it anyway. I told you that I am lazy, I'm supposed to be doing that in sections, but I'm just too lazy to be opening up sections. So if you want me to do like a detailed hair care routine or wash day routine, let me know in the comments then I will consider doing one anyway. We'Re gon na apply that until we're satisfied and then I'm gon na go over with my moisture Miracle living conditioner from African Pride, which I got last year and I've been also loving this product. Look at that. Look at that so yeah again, I'm supposed to be doing all those steps in sections anyway, I'm gon na try and open up two sections and then apply the products as much as I can and as you're applying it. You are working it into your hair. You stretching your hair out and you try and reach the roots all the way to the ends just apply either and then also use that opportunity to detangle with your hands now, because you may find out that, like you did not detangle properly, as you were supposed To so just also a detangler as you apply the product and apply as much as you can just apply, apply apply, do not be stingy, and that is going to be the last step for today's wash day routine. Usually after this I follow by doing either flat twist or just normal twist out all over my head and then wrap my hair in a head, wrap and then continue with my day. But I was too lazy to be doing that on camera. So I ended up just doing it off camera, but I want you guys to look at my hair. Look at how shrunken it is like I love shrinkage. I love it so so much and look at the texture look at the curl pattern. I absolutely love it anyway. I'M gon na show you guys the other natural hair products that I use, starting with the hair smoothie um, the hell milk smoothie from Palmer's coconut oil, followed by the African triple butter from afro botanics and the Kerala love from aunt's jackets. For those popping curls child anyway, that's it like that is everything for today's video. I hope you guys enjoyed it um. I also like enjoyed trying something new like I've, never done any hair videos or whatever and yeah, maybe just whatever. Just let me know in the comment section if you guys liked this video and would like to see more videos like this, then I will definitely make more. Just let me know if you like them anyway, that is it for today's video. Thank you. Thank you.
