Sideburns Laid! No Glue Lace Wig Install For Beginners| Hairvivi Fake Scalp Wig | Maya Galore

Hey babes welcome back to my channel. My name is maya. This is your very first time here. So today we have a long-awaited and highly requested type of video. I'Ve had so many requests from you guys to do another wig tutorial and to slay a wig and give a wig that i do recommend so today. That'S what we're doing this lace wig is from hair vivi. So, first of all, i did braid my hair and it's real sketchy - sis, it's not as good as it usually is. When i break my hair under my wigs, it's been a while, and i don't braid well with these nails. So this is what we got. It'S fine, it works just fine, that's fine! A lot of y'all have been begging me begging for a wig video and to show you how i slay my wigs. So today we do have a glueless wig tutorial in the wig that we are going to be working with. Is the victoria wig from hair vivi? This is the box that it comes in. It comes tied in the front which was really really cute and pretty, but obviously it's not like that anymore and the hair comes in like this mesh bag, and here she is this one in particular is 18 inches. The cap size is medium. It is straight wig. So it does have a fake scalp and if you've never had a wig with a fake scalp scissors. Let me put you on pretty much when you have a fake scalp wig. You do not need to have on a cap underneath. So if you look at this, i'm putting my hand underneath you see where right here you can see. This is a fake scalp, so this is kind of where your hair, like the darker hair, starts that way. You can't even see like where the wig begins and you don't have to put a cap underneath. One thing i like about this wig in particular that i'm already noticing is the lace. It looks super super like durable and like it's not going to be like you know, sometimes you got a wig and it'd be like ripping doing all that stuff girl, bye. Everybody got time for that. So and the knots are already bleached so seriously. You got no problems there and then, on the inside of the wig, there is a piano elastic band, so usually wigs that come with an elastic band. You can't like adjust this one. You can so you see here on the side. You have different ones where you can take this out and like pull them on the different ones, on both sides that way it's nice and tight, and you can tighten it this way, which is going to make this a glueless install. Obviously, we have lace at the top and then we have lace at the bottom, so i'm first gon na put it on my head before i start to cut things up, just to make sure i'm good, and this is without tightening the band or anything at all. For now, this is what we got um as you can see. If we pull the lace. This way tell me you cannot like see like where the wig starts and where my scalp is that's our fake scalp. I don't even have a obviously do not have on a wig cap underneath, so it's like super seamless right there, i'm gon na go ahead and cut the lace i didn't mention. Also, it has the normal, like wig clamps back here, where you can pop these off and you know make it tighter in the back there as well. I'M gon na pull these maybe to like the second notch. So here's third notch, so the strap is right here. I'M gon na go ahead and pop her off and move her, probably to the last one. I'M gon na see how the last one feels. So i want you guys to see that we could definitely do this without a cap one, but i went ahead and put one on just because, but i need to just pull my own hair back, so it doesn't get caught up in the elastic band. That'S inside and the clips and all that stuff, so that's we're making it easier for ourselves. I am going to go ahead and tighten up my elastic band so that we are nice and tight. So i feel like i kind of could have got away with a smaller cap like i have a little bitty head, my ex used to talk about me all the time saying my head was so small because i'm nice and tight here, but i'm not as tight Here on the sides - and i feel like that's just about the cap size that you get, but i feel like the only place that i would need like some spray or something would be like along the sides like you, almost cannot even see like where the lace Begins there? Yes, it is i'm here for work, so it also seems like i'm not gon na, have to pluck this wig too much around the edges and that's one thing: i'm loving as well, usually most wigs i get. I do have to pluck like a lot around the edges, to make sure it's looking as natural as possible, and i don't feel like i have to do that for this wig, i'm going to go ahead and go in with my guys to be right here on The ends not even at the top i feel like the top is gucci because this right here is already looking super like natural. Like look at that, i'm just going to go ahead and with my freeze spray from gots to be just like right along these edges and i'm gon na. Let it sit for a minute until it gets nice and tacky and with my rat tail comb, i'm just going to push the edges onto that spray so that it sticks. So we got it down pretty good. I feel like we didn't have to do too too much to make sure this melts into the skin if connor was real easy just given the fact that it does have the fake scalp that already looks supernatural and with all of the tightening that we can do In the back, it kind of just made it a lot like a lot, a lot easier, we're gon na go ahead and salute these edges. I'M gon na yeah, i'm gon na, take the combs and just start to comb down some of my little baby hairs. Now i'm gon na clip these to make them a little bit shorter here in a moment, but i am keeping this pretty thin of what i'm pulling down. You know, because i want it to be as natural as possible and then i'm going to take my little eyebrow razor and start to kind of make these shorter and more natural. Looking it's been a hot little. Second, since i put on a wig y'all, but i had to do this video for those of you guys who were asking me about the video, the wig that i wore in my makeup for beginners video and that that wig, i do not vouch for that's. Why i ain't responding on y'all on that one, because i was just waiting for me to put out a dope wig video with a dope wig cause that one i struggled with this. I struggled to struggle putting on that wig and i'm not even gon na tell y'all where that was from, because it just was bad. It wasn't from here baby, let's just say that, but i guess i made it look good a little bit since you know you guys really liked it, but i feel like it could look even better if i had a better wig and when i'm doing a wig. I like to swoop my edges with my gots to be glued because it is like just for me, helps to make it stick better and, like your edges, like won't, go nowhere like in nowhere. So i feel like it like aids, with the wig staying put as well as your edges stay in foot. You see how there's already like space in the weft right here in the lace. Usually you have to like create that yourself. So i'm happy that's already there to make it look more natural. That way i got ta. Pluck my life away now i also don't like my sideburns to be super super long, so i am going to kind of make them a little shorter, a little more natural like all right so before any styling, or anything like that. This is what we have. She is popping - and this is not a full lace wig. This is a lace at the top kind of like. Is it a 3560? No, it's not a 360., but it's just the lace at the top and on the sides. So far, it's looking really really good, and i like that this is not glued up here, so i low-key can adjust it like how much of my forehead i want to cover before i tie my edges. I really want my like right here to go like flat. So i'm gon na take some mousse and just lay that part down, but just that part, because obviously i'm gon na put some heat on this. I just want this to be nice and flat. I'M gon na go ahead and tie up my edges, real quick to make sure that they are nice and in place before i start to style. Okay, so i think i'm ready to go ahead and take this off now you see how that mousse just kind of made all of this nice and flat, and that this can kind of like come over like that. That is what i was going for. I'M just going to do a quick little style because i don't want to just leave it like this with you guys. I kind of just want to you know, bring a little body little body already into it and not just leave it boring and straight. So i'm just taking my flat iron and i'm just going to be pulling it back away from the face. Curling it away from the face. Just to you know, create a little bit of a body see it's not too crazy. Y'All see the difference from this side. To the side i definitely have a curling iron i can use for this, but you know what am i gon na say and i did put a little bit of mousse on the top just to kind of make it as flat as i want it to be. Oh yes, honey we're coming together, y'all, it's been a second since i've had my hair like this, and i am, i might be back on the train - maybe not that often, but i'm loving this wig all right. So i think that's enough styling, i'm gon na finish. This off camera and then i'm gon na be back with y'all to wrap up this wig review. Okay, wait! I'M still styling y'all know i'll be sad about the end stuff and just don't be going that way. But i just started doing this and i just want you guys to see how natural this looks with this wig. Look at how natural this looks. I am in freaking love with this. This is not even like secured at the top, and i love that you are able to install this glueless, which is cool. We just got a little bit of gel to reinforce the sides, but it's perfect before we end this. I just want to show you guys how long the wig is so it's 18 inches and when i stand up it goes like right here right below right.
