Step one is to make sure that wherever you're going to apply your lace with tape that your scalp is very clean, so I like to use witch hazel Anna q-tip and go ahead and clean that area really really good step two is to use a skin or Scalp protector to protect your scalp from any glue or adhesive that goes along with applying the lace tape step. Three is optional: I'm going to apply a temporary lace, wig adhesive, underneath my tape. This is to ensure that I'm gon na have a permanent hole throughout the whole day, so the lace wig tape that I'm going to be using for this tutorial is by BAE pond and it's called lace. Fx. It comes in two sizes, I'm going to be using the smaller size across my forehead. Now I also fell this tape on lace, wig, straps comm. You can order both sizes and I'll have the link for you in the description area. If you want to just click on and check it out, so applying the adhesive, it dries really really quick. So once I apply the adhesive, I have to go ahead and apply the tape right over it. So I'm gon na do this in one sweeping step, apply the eason and go ahead and apply the tape, so you're gon na want to just give it a couple. Good press make sure it's on nice and secure and tight. So when it comes to lifting the tape, you have to be really careful. I like to use a safety pin I just kind of get right in between the sticky tape and the top portion and pretty much it goes right in and then I can just peel the top portion off so now, you're ready for your wig. This is kind of silly and she's going to be going on her head on my head. Okay, so I'm gon na zoom the camera in a little bit to apply this so inside my wig, I am wearing a lace. Wig support strap, so I also sell these straps on lace. Wig Stratcom, as you can see, the strap is not all the way to the edge. That'S because I allow room to tape it down now. I tape it down, because I want that extra security. You do not have to use extra tape with the lace. Wig strap is secured on with double-sided wig tape and if you go to the website and you click on lace, wig straps, you will see a lot of tutorials that I have on how to apply. This strap to your wig it so I'm pretty much I'll stay on until you're, ready to remove it and wash it I get a one month hold so you'll see those videos on how to get a two week old or longer. Okay. So I am ready to apply my wig. What I like to do is just take a fresh and just brush all my little flyaway hair back, so I won't have to deal with that and I pretty much just make sure if the straps out the way I find the center of my wig and then I go ahead and I put it on not all the way to the front to the tape, so I'm moving the strap out the way you can see the strap and I'm gon na make sure that the center of my wig is in the center and I'm Just gon na go ahead and lay it right on that tape. A little pass fit. Okay, once that's in place before I do anything else, I'm gon na go ahead and I'm gon na tie it down it's just a nice little scarf that I cut. So you always want to go ahead and make sure that you give it some pressure for about five minutes. Usually at this point I'm doing my makeup. So I'm gon na wait five minutes and I'll be right back okay. So it's been five minutes. So let's go ahead and take it off so when it go so when it comes to concealing my edges, I like to just use a little bit of Mac Brown down it kind of matches the hair and just a little brush, and I lift it up like This and I just go across the edge just like that, and I pretty much have to do this every day, because it's just I shadow and it does come off. You can see a little bit of the tape right here. So what I'm gon na do is lift it up and pull it out further. So I don't use gel or all that other stuff I just kind of like it to just free flow to me free-flowing. It just looks more natural. So if I want to use a little bit of gel, I don't use gel. I use this dr. miracle edge, control Jill and I would just just kind of add just a little. You know just to keep it from flying away, but still look natural and that's it. You know you can kind of simulate a little part. Alright, let me zoom it in uh get closer, so you can see it doesn't take a whole lot to have a really good hole. Okay! That'S it thanks for this tutorial and thank you for watching.
