Dola Hair Upart Wig Review & Demo

Hey everyone: what's up, welcome back to my channel thanks, so much for tuning in so this is a hair review, slash tutorial of this u-part unit that i received from dola hair. So if you want to see how i got this look um, please just keep on watching all right, so i received this upart unit from dola hair um. They found me via instagram, which was really exciting and we decided to do a collaboration together. Um, i will say they did send me this unit, but this is an honest review. This is not a paid collaboration um, but i think they probably just noticed how much i'm obsessed with you part wigs. So they're, like hey, let's work with this lady, so basically i received a 18 inch u-part unit. I am gon na. Take it off. I am going to show you how i put it on, but i just want to do a quick, um unboxing and show you what came with the unit. So it came this really cute box, this nice little zebra print box that says dola hair. The unit came in this mesh pink bag. It also came with these really cute hair clips. It'S really great for pulling your hair back and they say dola hair on them. It came with this um fine tail comb. It also came with this cute brush for your edges. Absolutely love this on the inside. You get a hair wax stick. I don't really use hair wax, but i plan to because this is just so darn cute um. It came with a thank you for your order. Nice little gem, it came with a wig cap, came with two wig caps actually and a little card in here that just tells you the length and the cap size of this unit. So this unit um cap size is a size medium. So i'm going to take off the unit, i'm just going to show you what it looks like. There are three clips on the top one clip on the bottom: let's take this baby off woo. Yes, all right! So it comes in the color 1b. I have not washed this unit just yet um. I just threw some curls in it, but it feels oh, it feels absolutely beautiful. This is what the inside of it looks like. So you can see three clips on the top two clips on the side. One clip on the bottom and then they're actually for security purposes, two straps on here, which i love um. So this one has these two small straps here that you just kind of clip here and this makes it tighter and then this additional one for support. It'S almost like a bra strap. This also is on here for security purposes as well. That'Ll be the first to say. I do not know how to braid my own hair, so u-part. Wigs are really great for me, because i could just decide how much i want out um in my like leave out. If i want to do a side part, i want to do a middle part. If i want to do a headband - and i just it kind of helps me decide that way - um i just put my hair in a low pony, a low bun, and i just sectioned out the amount of hair that i wanted to have out. So, for the purposes of this video i'll just show you how i put on this unit, so i had already sectioned out my hair. So, just not perfect parts, as you can see, i'm gon na take my dola hair clip here, just clamp on my regular leave out and again it's as much as how big or how little that you want your leave out to be. I'M gon na take the wig and just bring it around town right. I like to secure mine first with the top clips on the front, so i can decide like how much i went out like those edges. Oh ciao. They need help um and then i'm going to clip clip so the three on the top are clipped in and then i'm just gon na take the one in the back. I'M gon na take that third clip and just tuck it underneath my low bun that i have there. Then i'm going to take my straps. There are two sets of straps, as i mentioned before, so you can determine what strap that you want to strap in and then just tie that baby in there nice and tight. That'S it now. Here'S the fun part take the leave out out i'll. Show you what a middle part looks like again, my parting skills aren't the greatest boom. That'S it now. I will say my real hair is highlighted right now, so that's why it's not blending completely in um, but if my hair wasn't highlighted this would blend in beautifully. I love that this 1b is like a true almost like 1b. It doesn't have a ton of red tint on it, um, which i love shedding basically minimal, which is absolutely fantastic. I love that, like i said, i have not washed it yet, but the density in this feels beautiful. It feels so smooth like this feels like a really good unit. I'Ll show you how you can like switch up your part, really quick, that's how easy this is. So the middle part in let's just say we want to go to the side, i'm just going to take a little bit more of my leave out, and then you decide what part you want it in. I'M gon na push that back the weft on this. As you can see is very thin as well, and then i'm just gon na take the rest of my leave out there. That'S it - and this is a this - is a side part side part. If i wanted to put a headband in all, i literally have to do is just push that back and then put a headband in. I could even do something like this and then you can decide how you want to do your baby hairs as i'm playing with this i'll, be completely honest, um. I do think the cap. It feels a little big on my head. I don't have a super large head, but i don't have a super small head either. So this is a um a medium unit and again, like i, don't have my straps adjusted perfectly, but i will say you really should utilize those straps in the back to get your unit to be laid down as much as you want. Now. I didn't utilize. A wig cap, but if you wanted to you, could a lot of people, i see they braid their hair underneath and then just put this on top. I can't braid my own hair so, like i said this is what works best for me um. I absolutely love it. The website is really easy to navigate as well also um. If you look on the inside of your little. I have just a regular um body wave, but there it's like a kinky one. So if you have like a little bit coarser, hair and kinkier hair, this would be great. I am not relaxed, i haven't been relaxed, i don't know i'd probably say 20 years since i've had a relaxer um in my hair. So it's been quite some time, so this is not relaxed hair, but i did like i did mention before my hair is curled. I will stand up, so you can see how long it is again. This is curled. I don't have the unit completely straight um, but, as you can see it goes to about here curled, i will turn around and show you the back. What this looks like how far it goes down staying away from there but uh i'm about five, two five three, and this is how long it goes curled. So i really hope that you guys enjoyed this really quick tutorial. It'S i mean the customer service was fantastic. The shipping was great, it came in a timely manner.
