Hey guys, it's Lucy, the sexy grandma 2K and I'm coming at you today, Sis with a new holiday wig review for a minute and say Merry Christmas. We said yay, you guys we are on our way to a New Year. Y'All got yourself together yet because your girl, she sure, doesn't but I'm going to be together in time for the new year. I ordered me a new planner. I would be bringing you some content on that, so that I can get things together and rolling for 2023.. I'M still trying to discover my word for the new year that I want to focus on. So let me know in the comments you guys if you've already come up with your focus word for the new year and what you're, anticipating wig that I have today is from utre. It seemed like all I do is utre wig reviews anymore. I mean they just constantly drop in the fire, but anyway it is from utre. It is from the perfect hairline, and it's a lot like this wig that I have on now. If you want to know about this, wig that I have on this is Tatiana, and I did do a full review on her. I will leave a link up here or, if I can, I might try to throw a little footage in here, just to kind of show you the difference between the two. I do feel like this style has been done by utre several times with Tatian with Bexley. Just there's a number of other straight units that they have done, but hey, if you do it right, just why not keep doing it. So this one you guys is called Declan. This is what Declan looks like. She is a 13 by 5 lace, frontal she's 28 inches long. She does have HD um, transparent lace and also she's heat safe up to 400 degrees. So I'm not going to go into a whole styling detailed video with this one, because I've done it several times with Bexley and with Tatian. So I do want to show you um the Deets on Declan. However, we're going to get our own box and we're going to take a look at her y'all ready, hey, let go. Okay can't believe I forgot this feeling finally found the one in my life with it an angel in disguise, okay guys. So I want to slow things down and show you how to pluck your wig or kind of customize it in case you didn't know how to do that um. So the first thing that I like to do is I like to park the baby hairs out of the way, because a lot of times I do like to use them to kind of sculpt, my wig in the front when I lay it down, but I like To keep them nice and wispy, so I go ahead and I kind of part them out of the way and then I start plucking my hairline. Now when I pluck you guys, I'm not trying to make my wigs super duper thin. I'M just trying to get rid of that straight line that goes across the hairline, so that it looks more natural and it looks like you know, hair is growing in instead of a just a straight wig line, if that makes any sense at all. So I just take my time, I kind of part, the hair. I use my tweezers and I pluck behind the hairline. Now, if you're not going to use your baby hairs for any reason that comes on the wig, then you can definitely go ahead and just brush the baby hairs back and then just start plucking right from the hairline. So if you can kind of see what I'm talking about see, how it's a little bit thinner on that side and on the other side it looked side and look more like a straight line. So also guys. I'M sorry I'm kind of blocking your view, but it is so hard to pluck a wig and try to show you guys at the same time. So this is what it's looking like and again, I'm just going to do like up at the top of the wig. Like from Temple to Temple, I'm not going to go all the way down on the sides, because it's just not necessary, and actually you guys, you don't have to pluck this wig at all. I'M just showing you in case you want to make it look just a little bit more natural now. What I'm going to do here is take my um comb and I'm just combing out what I've plucked and see it seems like you haven't done much, but actually there's a lot of hair that I just plucked out of the front of that hairline so and see How this side just looks more straight, so you can definitely tell the difference. Okay, we said so now. What I did with this is, I just again parted another small, thin layer as you can see, and I'm just going to go in, and I'm just going to pluck a little bit off of this layer just to again thin it out break up that straight line And help it to look more natural, so it looks like I'm not plucking, much out at all and you're going to see how much is actually going to come out. So you, it may feel like you're, not making a difference, but you actually are yeah and then check this out. This is how much I literally just plucked. Okay, so and you as you can see that hairline is just starting to come together even more all right. So that's all I'm going to do on that side and I'm going to do the exact same thing to the other side and see you guys. I know you can see the difference. I hope. But again, if you don't want to do this, you don't have to so. This is how much I literally plucked out of both sides. I just want to show you how much I took out of the front of the hairline okay guys now, I'm going to show you how to cut your lace, so I'm going to take a big hair clip and just pull the hair back, and these are available. You all on my Amazon storefront. I did purchase them from Amazon and these scissors. You want to make sure that you get a pair of scissors where the tip of your scissors are pointed and sharp, because when you cut your lace, you don't want to cut it with the whole scissor or the middle of the scissor. You want to actually cut your lace, utilizing the tip of the scissors, and so it's so much easier to do if you start off with a pair pointy sharp scissors versus the dull tipped or round scissors. Now, when I go in and cut my lace, I cut extremely close to the hairline. As you can see here, I like to get right up in there. I don't like to leave any extra lace on my wig whatsoever. I like to be right at the hairline, and so sometimes you I may like cut into the hairline just a little teeny bit as I'll show you in a minute. But it's just because I like to be all up in there. Sis and just cutting like see how there's no extra lace left on my wig. I don't like that because I don't like having to conceal the lace after I melt my wig down, okay, I hope this helps guys. Now this is what the lace looks like after I cut it off and, as you can see, I have like a few little strands that I cut into the hairline, but as long as you use the tip of your scissors and you just take your time - that's Not a big deal, you don't want to cut a lot of the hair, but sometimes you get a strand or two, and I really like the lace on this wig, but we'll talk about that more later. So this is how the wig is. Looking after I got the lace cut off the front so y'all, that's it for the tutorial. Now, let's finish up the review. Okay, because I had just laid tattoo on down this morning - and you know I had her legs - I didn't want to take that thing off and I felt like this was the exact same style as that. So why am I even reviewing this right now, but I went ahead. I did it and y'all can I just say I am so happy. I did look at this color. Oh, my God. This is giving this is giving winter. This is giving Christmas. This is giving Kwanzaa. This is giving Hanukkah. This is giving I'm just ready to step in 2023, and you know, let's get it on. You are this color is absolutely gorgeous now. Let me say, even though this wig looks like Tatiana, this one is so much better and I'm gon na tell you why? Oh, my goodness, okay, this wig is better because you guys the density is so much different like it has so much more density in it. But it's not like it's heavy heavy, but it just makes the density makes the wig lie better. Like I didn't put any heat up here or anything, it is lying flat flat. It is, I mean, look at this, get into it, you guys, okay, so let me calm myself down, so it's laying flat flat, it's just it's just serving it's serving five courses. Oh my goodness, and do y'all see that lace. I mean that lace melts like butter. Butter, okay and I love the layers in her. I can run my fingers through without any problems and I love the face frame and highlight and then how the black cherry just comes into play. But then I got the highlight of the the the red: what wait? What color is the same? Drff red velvet? Oh okay, the wide elastic band you know on the inside of the cap: it's a really nice quality. That'S that's what it is you guys I feel like the quality of this wig is so much better than Tatiana. I feel like the lace is better. I feel like it's more transparent and easier to work with. I feel like the density is better um. I love the color on this one, although my Tatian, with some kind of I think it was the drfff um, uh mahogany or some child may be lying, but just click the review and watch it. I will say you cannot go wrong with either one, but if I had a choice, I would choose this one for the winner and girl. I would choose this color. If you don't want to do that, it's still a win. It is still a win, because this is the most pre-plug that they have been lately and that's one of the things that I actually like about synthetic wigs versus human hair, wigs a human hair wig like I don't want to do all that ball Scout method. All the curling and the straightening for days and days, the pre-washing of the wig, because there is no way I will put a human hair wig on my hair without washing it first. So just all the styling that goes into human hair. I personally would much rather have a high premium synthetic wig Lace, frontal. It comes to me styled. It comes to me colored and when I'm tired of it Sis, I take it off, and I flip to another color, because even though they're getting more expensive, there are a lot of deals out there, and it just gives me more variety and the ability to switch. My style and my looks up more frequently because if I pay 400 for a wig, oh me and me and a girl, I'm gon na ride that bad boy till the wheels come off. Okay. So that's the thing that I personally like better about having high premium synthetic wigs. The other thing, so let me show you like, on the stock card, see how how it's cut it's not just straight across blunt cut. It is cut in a V which makes it look more natural and I just love it. I just okay. Let me turn around see if you can see it or not, and it does come like down to like right at my waist, but at this point you guys I'm rambling, oh wait. One other thing you guys remember: ultra perfect hairline Bexley. I did a review on her as well. I feel like this is a close um close to the same uh style as Bexley, but I still love Bexley. That is my girl. The only difference to me is Baxley is more one length and this one has layers in it. I'M also going to be bringing you guys, the new Dominica 16 inch, but y'all. I Got ta Wear this one by Christmas for a minute this week makes me so happy.
