Sensationnel Butta Unit 14 1 Week Update

Hey guys today, i am doing something a little bit different than what i normally do. Um today, i'm going to be doing an updated or, like um, updated review on this wig. This is the sensational butter unit 14 wig. I have had this wig for a week. Um, i know typically on my like channel. I just do like initial reviews like out of the box or like brand new. That'S usually what i do and um typically, i don't feel a need to come back on camera and do like an updated review, because i realize that i love the wig, so i don't feel like i have to everything i said in my initial review still stands. True throughout time, obviously, you guys know if you do wear synthetic wigs that they're going to tangle they're going to um shed. You know those are like the main two things with synthetic wigs that happen over time. So you should expect that you should know that your wig is not going to hold up forever. That'S just the way that synthetic wigs are or either you're going to have to try to style it a different way or pre-curl it or straighten it. Whatever you have to do to like try to keep the longevity of your wig, but i have not felt the need to do that with any of my other wigs besides this one, and that is because i really don't like this wig um. I wanted to share this and this is just an opinion. Obviously this is just my perspective on it and you guys may have a different. You know perspective or opinion um, but i wanted to do another like updated review. So in case you guys um were wondering you know how it's holding up like throughout the week. I wanted to give you guys, like i said, like an update um, whether or not you feel like this wig is worth buying or not um. Personally, i wish that i didn't buy this wig. The only reason. The only only reason i like this wig is because of this color. This color is absolutely stunning. I love this balayage mocha color um. I just wish there are a lot of cons with this wig in my opinion - and this is just based off of what i like and what i look for in a wig. So what i like in a wig is, i like for them for my wigs to have more of a medium density um. In my opinion, i feel like this wig does have a thinner density to it. I do not like that for this wig to be so expensive. I think it was like 50 or 60 dollars. That'S a really expensive wig. In my opinion, um. I feel like this wig should have had a little bit more density to it than the than what it has. I am disappointed in that. I also am disappointed in the amount of tangling that i've gotten with this wig um. I had to cut it. I knew i had a feeling that i would have to cut it um, because i had a feeling that it wasn't going to hold up and of course i was right. You know because of the length um so i did have to go in and i cut it. You know pretty short, i'm not short, but it was. I don't know if you guys remember, but it was like down to here on me like pretty long so i had to cut. I had to cut probably five or six inches off of this wig um because of the tangling was so bad um, and i do not like the fact that the wig out of the box, the curls were like. I don't know if you guys remember, but the curls were like on the bottom. So when i ended up cutting the wig, all the curls that were on the bottom, like it just ended up being a straight wig, which i am not a fan of straight hair. Personally on me, so i was kind of upset and disappointed because it had like just like a barely there wave to the wig whenever i cut the length off um the reason why i buy wigs personally, you know this is just a personal thing. Obviously, but i buy wigs because i'm not that great at styling hair um i could, if i wanted to, i could grow out my natural hair and it could be long like this. You know or whatever i could grow my hair out, but i choose to keep my hair short because i like wearing wigs. I like changing my look um. I, like you, know if i want to have red hair one day. If i want to have short hair one day like because i'm just that type of person like in real life, if i do you know with my natural hair i one day i want to cut my hair short or one day, i'm like oh, i want to Go get highlights, or i want to do this like that's. Why i wear wigs is because i want to have the wig already pre-styled. I don't want to have to go in and do the work. You know the amount of work that you would have to do as far as like this, i'm not saying i don't want to ever do any work with wigs. I understand like you, do have to go in and pluck hair you might have to layer the hair. You might have to you know, put powder or foundation in your parting. You might have to straighten it. You might have to do different things obviously, but for me personally, i don't want to take the time to have to go in and do so much work. Any wig that i have gotten, that is synthetic i've had to do very minimal work to the wig to get it to look. The way that i wanted it to, which is what i why i buy these wigs, is what i you know you get what you pay for like that's what i feel like why i do what i do um. I hope i'm making sense to y'all but like i am just very disappointed that i had to go in and i had to like try to curl this wig um and i didn't do that great of a job like you know, i'm disappointed in myself because i'm Not that great at styling synthetic wigs, um i've watched tutorials on youtube. I'Ve done like a lot of you know like whatever trying to follow along. Like i did um i did the heat, the um. What'S it called the steamer method? With this wig i use my flexi rods. I used a curling wand um. I just don't like the way, though, that i feel like this looks um and maybe i'm just being super picky. I don't know i feel like. I am just disappointed for this wig to be so expensive and for it to have so many issues. Um. Also another issue with this wig is the. I don't know if you guys remember my initial review um i mentioned that there was a lot of shedding. That was coming out of it and the more i've wore it, the more it has shed. Unfortunately, so already it, you know for already to be a thin wig for it to shed even more what it's super frustrating for me, um. Also. Another thing i wanted to mention um is the cap construction. I know i mentioned in my initial review that it was comfortable um and it is comfortable, i'm not saying it's uncomfortable, but i have such a large head and i have thick hair underneath in my wig cap. I want to show you guys um that i do. I sometimes do struggle with, like just average cap sizes, so this is just a struggle of mine, so if you guys do have a larger head like i do, i don't know if you're gon na run across this or not. But for me, like you, know like here's, my cap with my hair in it and then here is like the comb to the wig cap and i can't like pull it down very well and that's why it was slipping. So much is because if i do pull it down all the way, then this happens because it's not a larger head cap size. So i would say that this is more of a small to medium cap size. It is just very, very snug on me. If i do like, if i can get it to come all the way down, it's going to slip, and i don't have like a wig grip or anything like right now, i know i need to buy one, because i do want to have that in case. I run into the into this again with wigs, but i've never had that happen before until i bought this wig. I i don't know how i feel about this week, honestly um, i am having like a love-hate relationship with it um. The only thing that i, like i said the only thing: saving this wig is the color um. This color is absolutely stunning, stunning, stunning gorgeous. I love this color. If this wig had more of a full density, if it didn't shed as much also if there it was a little bit bigger of a cap size and if this wig came with more of a style more of a curl instead of like a straighter look, i Would love this wig um? I think that what i was expecting, like you know, in the picture or on the stock card, i was expecting more curls. I wasn't expecting for it to be a straight wig, so i am like it does. I'M not saying it doesn't. Come like curled, that's not what i'm saying, because you guys saw in my initial review that it did come curled. But i guess in my mind i was thinking that this wig was going to come a little bit more curly than just like a very barely there. Curl um, i'm not totally mad at this wig. I think the more that i play with it, the more that i hopefully i'm able to style it. The way that i like um - and i know like if anything i do like. I have hats, like i plan on, like i'm gon na, show you guys like what it looks like with a hat um. If anything, i am just going to wear hats with this wig and just like make it work for me, um, that's what you can do. If anything, if you have a wig, that's not working for you guys like you, can always just throw a wig. I mean a hat on to kind of, like you know, just to make it work for you or it'll it'll, hide all the imperfections at the top or anything like that um but yeah. That'S! I just wanted to come on camera and just tell you guys my honest opinion um. If i had to do it over again, i don't know if i would buy this wig honestly um, not for the price point to me. It'S a little bit high um. Maybe i'm cheap, i don't know you know i just i know my husband is the only income that we have right now, i'm a stay-at-home mom to my autistic son. So money sometimes can be pretty tight for us and if i'm going to spend money on a wig, you know it better. Like look good at least it better have good density. Have a good style. Have you know all these things like it better, not just be like the way that this wig is, in my opinion, um, because i i just personally can't afford to buy wigs that aren't going to work for me. Um, and that's also why i have this channel. Is because i am hoping that, with my reviews that you guys are going to be able to see, you know like whether or not you want to spend money on a wig or not um, and i'm hoping that you know in my reviews that you guys are Able to make a decision, and i hope that i am giving the wigs a fair shot um in my reviews, because, like i said like when i initially review wigs, i know i get excited because i just get them out of the bat out of the box. I just get them out of packaging and i plop them on and i review them for y'all. It is just an initial review. First impression review um. You know. I know that i can do updated reviews on wigs if you guys want me to um, but i usually i just don't do that because, like i said like when i everything that i say in my first initial review is typically true of the wig um. Typically, my wigs, don't change. You know my opinion of the wigs. Don'T change is what i'm trying to say um if i love a wig initially like in my first impression of the wig, i typically will love the wig for you know throughout time. The more that i wear it um and i can't complain because you know like, like i mentioned too before, like if the wig to shed or tangle, you have to kind of expect that with your synthetic wigs um so yeah. That'S all, though, that i just wanted to tell you guys my thoughts um. I hope this is helpful for some of you or um yeah. Just. I hope that somebody out there um sees this and maybe can make a better decision on whether or not they want to purchase this wig but yeah. That'S all that i can think to mention um.
