Hey y'all welcome back to my channel we're just gon na jump right in I'm gon na, be showing you guys a my first wig, I'm trying out an armoured color that is so beautiful is inland 20. It is a lace, front, construction, I'm gon na start by cutting off the combs on both sides of the unit and also beginning that I like handsome method - and you guys know that's a staple. I do that all the time. It'S an alternative for bleaching the knots, but you can bleach them if you want a more seamless install. So I'm trying out the fake scalp method today, you're supposed to turn over your unit, pull a stocking cap or knee-highs over your unit and then proceed to use. Gossipy goo free spray and then after you've done this and you've allowed it to dry using a blow-dryer on the cool setting. You should be able to eliminate having to do the ball cap method. Well, I try that method and after turning it over, the hair was very stiff and miss precious Marie who started. This method did mention that so I began using some mousse just to kind of loosen up the hair, and maybe that loosened up the wig cap as well. I'M not sure, but I did not show it on camera, but like off-camera, I did decide to turn it back over and spray some more and free spray, just to make sure it had more security. So, as you can see, I'm real high, I was so excited about this method, yah and, if you've seen her video, it was so seamless. It was such a flawless install that you would never expect this to happen. So I got my unit in a size, medium and I decided to take the unit off to adjust the straps and lo and behold the stocking cap came off. It was sitting on my head no longer on the lace, and I literally took about an hour so to do that process so disappointing. This process is really not beginner friendly. Someone like me, who's worked with wigs a great deal. Couldn'T even do it. Y'All miss precious. Marie is awesome, she is a hair genie. She did such a good job and made it look freakin killer, but I was not successful and some others have not did but y'all tried. Oh, don't give up on it, so I just decided to cut off the lace around the unit and just proceed to install the unit without a week out at all. I had taken so long going through that process that I didn't even feel like doing the ball cap or nothing. So I literally just put the unit on on top of my color purple silly braids that I had going on and decided to install from there. I will leave the link to miss precious, Marie new, fake scalp method, video in my description box. So you guys can give it a shot if you like to, but I'm just gon na proceed to add some gossipy glue around my hairline, which I've done quite a few times. This is my favorite adhesive to use because it's so easy to take off. So I'm just applying it. I started with my fingers and then decided to grab a plastic utensil, so I'm just doing that after I went through that process. I just grabbed my blow-dryer and played it on the cool setting and then just allowed it to get tacky once the gossipping glue was tacky in the front. I began to place my unit down and I'd like to do one side at a time. So I do one side and then go over to the other and just place it down. One thing I did like about the new fake scalp method is that your prep happens before the install miss brushes Marie. Did that and I tried to follow her as much as I could you don't actually have to do that, but I did do it following her tutorial and I felt like it made my installation process so much faster. This unit did come pre plucked and it was plucked very well. I did pluck it a little more on the sides just to make sure that it was to my liking, but I really loved everything about it. I was a little restricted with the fake Scout method. In regards to my partying, because once you've actually laid the unit down you pretty much set whatever style you had when you laid it or else you just gon na, have to wash the unit and start all over. I didn't mention this earlier, but the name of this unit is Hillary and she is shining y'all. She has six inches of deep parting space, which makes the unit look very natural and when doing styles like a low ponytail, it looks so awesome. So I'm showing you all currently that I was easily able to because I actually had the unit looking very sleek in the front already, I could easily transition into a low sleek ponytail, so that was an advantage. I really appreciated that a great deal, so I just put it in a ponytail and then grabbed a section of hair in the back and just proceeded to wrap that around the ponytail holder to conceal it so that you can no longer see it. And this creates a very professional and classy look after wrapping the hair around. I described a bobby, pin and just secure it in place so that the hair would be secure. So this is the final look guys. I hope that you all love the way it turned out. Hilary came through for your girl. My first wigs is a company that I recommend to so many because it's so beginner friendly and this company has great quality hair. Their hair comes with a great deal of the work done for you, which is what I love the pre plucked hair line. This one also came with bleach knots. Everything was done, but the fake Scout method - hmm we're gon na we're gon na keep working at it. Maybe I'll get it as our practice, our beautiful ladies, I hope that you all enjoyed this video and while I test out the new pig Scout method, although it did not work, I was able to do a seamless install for you guys, showing you all without egg Recap how you can steel slay your unit, so I hope you all enjoyed it.
