Alright y'all, so in today's video, I'm going to show you how I do miss precious Murray's, fake, scalp, installation method. This video is sponsored by my girl case, Feb hair. If you are oh gee subscriber you know, she was one of the first companies that I reviewed back in the day. So big thanks to her for sending me this hair and sponsoring this video. So it's a start. You'Re gon na put your wig inside out on your mannequin head next you're gon na place your wig cap or your pantyhose, whichever you prefer over the wig I like to use a transparent, wig cap, because you can basically color it with makeup or lace tent, basically To mimic your scalp color to perfection, now, I'm going to take my guide to be styling gel and I'm going to use that to apply the wig cap. To my wig I would say this is the biggest difference. I'Ve seen the freeze blasts, pray used. I like to use this styling gel more because I feel like it has a more firm hold and I can control more where the product goes and I get less product on the actual hair. The con with using the gel versus the free spray is that it takes longer to dry and it takes longer to apply, but I believe that it is worth the extra time so before you do anything, you want to check and make sure it's all dry. You can gently tug on the ends to make sure it's not pulling away from the lace, and then you can begin to cut the excess lace away. So before I recorded this, I went ahead and install the hair on myself with this method. To make sure I liked the way that it turned out so, as you can see, the lace is already cut. I'Ve already plucked I've added some layers to the wig, as well as an elastic band. If I want to go for a glueless look and then, as you can see, you still have the wig cap applied and secured. So now I'm just prepping my hair and getting it ready for install. I do still wear an additional wig cap, but that's just to prevent the friction from the wig on my actual hair. So now I'm just brushing back my hairline with a little bit of hairspray and then I'm going to clean off my forehead with the alcohol and follow up with some scalp protected. So the rest of this video is just going to be sped through. It is just my installation process and I already have a step-by-step detailed tutorial on how I install my wigs. The only thing different is this glue that I'm using. I actually do not recommend this glue, but it is a little gentler on my skin. It doesn't really have the best hold, but the other glues are too harsh for my skin. I will say that if you do so decide to use this glue because the other glues are too harsh for your skin as well, you need to apply ultra thin layer. It'S very very thin, as you can see in the video, and you need to make sure that the glue is slightly dry before you apply the lace. So this glue does dry a little bit shiny, but it does end up doling out after a little bit of wear right now, I'm just going around my hairline and cleaning up any excess glue with a little bit of alcohol. Now I'm just going in with some mousse and a mascara brush, so I can kind of customize the baby Harris in the hairline. I'M actually a little sad because I over tinted my lace just a little bit like it was almost perfect, but I had to go in with that last spray, but it's okay, because when I wash it and reinstall I can just reach in tit to perfection. The next time, and now for the final step in the process, always always tie it down for that final milk down I'll leave mine tied down for a minimum of 45 minutes, typically a little bit longer and then, depending all the type of mousse you used or Styling spray or whatever you could have a little bit of hardness. So I always like to comb that out and then either go over it with a hot comb or whatever. I need to do so that it's back fluffy again and I'm actually going back into my hairline and plucking out a little bit more. I did a little bit of lighter plucking this time, but I'll probably go back in and pluck some more for my next install of this hair, and I also just went in and cut a few extra lace pieces around the hairline that I wasn't liking. But these are the results and I am loving this method. I love it way better than the ballcap method. It'S way easier. It saves you more time and you can prep all your wigs beforehand. I mean look at that. It just really looks like scalp get into it, and part of this is the quality of the lace. This is the HD lace, frontal from case back hair, and this is my first HD lace experience and I promise y'all. I don't think I can go back. So, thank you so much for tuning into this video. I hope you enjoyed it. I will put all the links and details about this hair down below and also stay tuned, because me and Kay are teaming up for a giveaway. So, thank you so much for watching and be on the lookout for next time.
