A lot of people think that ,'', Oh, let me use a lot of glue.. That'S gon na have my wig on for two months.'' Mm-mm. Right.. Then you have your wig on for two days and it be lookin' messy and nasty.. Less is best. Got it.. So what are you using to clean off the glue with 91 % alcohol. Okay. Mm-hm.? I always like to -- after every one to two layers I like to wipe my comb off just to keep it clean. All right. So, as you can see, you want it -- when you lay it, you want it to look like nothing is really there.. Oh wow, it looks great. Mm-hm. And a lot of men don't be likin' their woman in weaves or stuff like that.. So I'll be tellin'. Em girl forget him, especially if he didn't pay for it. Girl bye.. This is your body, your mind honey.. If he don't like it find somebody else.'', Oh, but he love me.'', Uh-uh., (, laughing ), There's so many times where I -- I'm in the chair, I'm like ..., (, chuckles ). I get home and I completely changed the style and I don't like it. Yeah.. It'S just like, if you're paying for a service, just feel comfortable enough ... Yeah. To just like not leave that chair until you get that service.. So what is that about Like what makes you not say anything at that moment in time? -'Cause you just don't want to be `` that girl ,''. You know You don't want to be difficult.. You know you kind of like it, but you're like --, you're thinking ``. Oh, I can deal with it. When I get home.'', It's like ``, It's nothing.''. You know And that's how I am. I'm not confrontational. Mm-hm. Like I would -- like. I would literally go to a restaurant and pay for some food. I don't like.. So what would you say is like the best way for a client to just communicate to you that they're not happy with their hair or they want to try something else. Let them communicate with me right then, and there. Don't wait till they get home and you know start messing with it and doing this -- all type of stuff with it.'Cause. Then it's gon na you know, create a whole mess of problems. Right. And then they'll go to another stylist and get it fixed and then they be like ,''. Well, I don't like it.'', I didn't do that. Right. ( chuckles ). Now I heard through the grapevine that you're thinking about ... retiring from the hair, business. Um, I do. What What But not now., No Right I do, but I -- I wan na be more so uh ...'cause, like you, know, I've kind of grown into ..., Mm-hm. ... a personality you know TV-wise and stuff. Right., So I want to venture onto that, but I want to have products that are still gon na, be selling.. Okay, because, like you --, You know in my slee -- makin' money in my sleep. Got it. Like how Oprah you know, or you know, Kim Kimble. Yeah.. You know those types of people who have products and they're making. You know millions of dollars and they're, not even in the salon. Yeah.. So that's what I wanna ultimately do is to have a good product. Op that'll help me to retire. Right., So not right, now., Not right. Now.. We'Ve still got you for a few more years. Yeah about two or three years. Mm-hm., But you know years, go by quick. Yes.. So I have to ask you questions about. You know: Instagram, the hair, business and ... Mm-hm.. What do you think about ... stylists requiring their girl, the client to come with their hair? Already braided, I don't like it. Um .... You heard it here first. I like to do everything from the shampoo to the --. It'S okay! If you shampoo your hair., I even have some clients ,'', I washed my hair.''. No, I'm still gon' shampoo for you.. I hear that yes. Yeah ,'cause. I don't know what kind of condition you might have, or you know what you use. Yeah yeah.. You know you may not use professional products. Mm-hmm. -'Cause. You know a lot of -- most of our clients. They have consumer products.. They don't have professional salon, products that you know are required in order for your hair to grow in order for it to be clean.. So I like to do everything myself from braiding. It down'cause I just like for -- And then that eliminates any problems. Yeah.. You might have a client that come in braided down and they be big braids and you put they wig on and it be humpty and they be like ``. Well, why? My wig so big ?'''Cause them braids? You came in with. Right.. Is it easier for you to put wigs on yourself or on a client I --? To be honest, I rush when I put my wigs on. Okay. On myself. Now for my client, I take my time.. I feel like styling-wise. It'S easy for me to style it on myself. Yeah. -'Cause, sometimes like with my client. Sometimes I used to overthink doin' it, but now I just do it. Just do it. Good.. I always come from a point where you're creating hair products. Like you, don't know the chemical reaction that these things are -- Right., Even just adding water to your own hair products, -- But they're. All natural products., Onions, avocado rice, like natural things., Oh wow., They're, like natural products., Just'cause, it's natural doesn't mean it's necessarily better. You know Yeah, you right, you right, but it's all worth a try. Right. You know., Especially when you have somebody, that's really looking for hair growth and they're desperate, it's worth a try.. Have you done any natural hair, textured, wigs, Um yeah, but um ...? But I have my clients.: They like this kind of silky look., But I do like that natural hair texture, wigs like how Ciara be doin' like the ponytails and stuff with that kind of yaki texture. Mm-hmm.. I do like that.. So what do you think is like the future for the wig industry? I think the wigs will never go out of style. They're gon na keep only getting better and better. Technology. This and that. Yeah., Innovation. Yeah., Hopefully you'll be a part of that. Right. Right.. You know who. Yeah. Come on now. Yeah. Yes., All right, so I have to take a little bit of this foundation and I'm going to apply it on her part. That looks really good. Afterwards. What I do is I just like to kind of spray it with a little bit of hair spray., And then I like to kind of rub my hands through the curls.. Just to give it. You know a little bit of separation little bit of body. Wow. This looks great.. This is amazing.. This looks amazing, wow., Mm-hmm., Really good.. That'S how we get these nice body curls.. I love it., Yes., Everyday curls., So good. So good., Ooh .... I know they gon' love it.. It looks great.. You guys seen it here, first. The one and only Alonzo Arnold.. Thank you so much for coming.. No thank you.. This looks amazing. Believable. Thank you.. You'Ve seen it here, first. Yes., Don't forget to follow us at the hashtag. # thehairshowbet. Right, come on.. You could be a part of this conversation: yes. Yes., Yes honey., So she's done.. I love it. Thank you.. What lace Okay. There we go. Can't see it., It's not there.. How do you feel Ooh girl.? It'S her first time wearing a wig just so you know. Right., So imagine.. What Okay. New hair., Who this Okay, it's you girl., Yes., Slay honey, slay., Give us a shake., Give it a shake. Honey.! That'S great.! You did great. Let'em see.! Thank you! That was amazing.! ♪♪

kamille seven: The young lady sitting in the chair is so beautiful. Her skin looks amazing.

Tam I Am Your Favorite Dragon: Tyler Perry needs to be in contact with Alonzo! Alonzo's talent could take Tyler Perry's movies and shows to another level as it comes to the character's hair!

Auje Chu: I love that Alonzo is sharing a lot of these stylists don’t share.

Nina Gezellie: I'm not into wigs but I like the fact that Alonzo didn't put the stupid 'baby hairs' like a lot of hairdressers do. This looks natural, so tumbs up. Greetings from the Netherlands.

Kandi D: S/O to the hosts for asking detailed questions that beginners might not know.

Sashaa SoFierce: As a hair stylist Their closeness to him is killing me, like back up and understand that personal space is necessary. Great video and education overall.

LaShayna Monique: Arrogant Tae, Tokyo, & Alonzo Arnold DOMINATE the wig artistry game right now!

Moody High: I love the concept but BET needs to work on the technical aspects such as camera angles and presentation. The stylist did a great job talking to everyone while still doing hair and adding personality to the episode!

Olivia Abrahamian: Installing your own lace front isn't hard at all, do not be intimidated!! Especially after this tutorial, trick is to let that glue dry fully before you press the lace down. Add some concealer to get rid of the shine and you're good to go.

Olayne Joseph: This is a whole free class

TalksWithMonroe TV: Im so happy he gave a full tutorial as if it was his actual class most celebrities stylist wouldn’t of gave us so much gems im very appreciative of him doing this

NickiSincerely: Alonzo is awesome!!! He slayed me for my wedding. His assistant, Brittney is bomb!!! ❤️

Ronielle Copeland: I just love Alonzo’s personality! Talk about laughing all the time lol

GoldChi: I literally watch this everyday because of the hair stylist, Alonzo Arnold. She is a great teacher and she is very talented. They didnt give her much space to perfect her craft, but this proves this young lady can handle doing what she does under any circumstances! I'm so inspired. I watch to see how well spoken she is, how professional she is, and she's dressed from head to toe. I pray she reads this and see how much she motivated me in my everyday working environment.. to working on my Brand!

Prettypinks3000: They asked great questions and I found the video very helpful. I've watched countless install videos but haven't felt comfortable enough to try because I didn't want to risk losing my money by messing up a wig. This video helped so much I know I can do it! And I will give it a try. Thank you!

Taylor With The Vibes: I feel so bad for the client . I’m claustrophobic and I CANNOT stand when people hover over me like that . I would’ve told them ladies to move or stop touching me .

Ayanna Fraley Moore: I love Alonzo Arnold! So excited to see him getting his shine! He deserves it. He’s so talented! And he looked so pretty!!!!

Jonnelle Taria: It’s a lot of people talking about them not giving him space but the thing is when you are teaching a style the teacher is expecting you to be up on them! They’re teaching! You have to be up close to learn especially a lace class, I was in a silk press class and we was up close even for that. It’s absolutely normal #LicensedMasterCosmetologist love you Lonzo!

Sid H: This was a great interview. They asked such detailed questions that I was asking in my head

Penelope: This is a great tutorial, i wish some of the techniques were up close. I’d like to learn how to cut the lace like she did.

Lavish Misfit Tink: Im so happy for her finally getting the recognition she deserves

Quila's Skool of Glamology: He's so professional I love his work ethic

Lauren Jackson: I don't wear wigs, but this was great! I loved this- the chemistry between all of them, how GREAT/knowledgeable the stylist is, and the beautiful brown skinned model in the chair

Ms Vë: The girl with the natural hair is giving me hope that my hair will ONE DAY that thick and healthy

therellnevab: For tip number one that was not oil sheen Alonzo sprayed to protect her egdes...it was Got to be Glued. Do not spray oul sheen of any sort on your hair before applying a lace wig

Jakeria LaSheal: Alonzo knows he’s talented !

Jennifer Hook: Love ALONZO ARNOLD and his concepts!!! Also liked the questions that these ladies asked too. It's natural to want to see how great ppl do great things; so I I'm not mad at them being "too close". If Alonzo was cool with it (because he's clearly outspoken), what's the problem‍♀️ Shiiidddd if I was there I woulda been in his Versace jacket pocket like

NickiNikhole: The goal is too make it look under detected on camera & photos so now I wanna see all they work in person ! Here I'm spending money on the best laces when at the end of the day it was all camera tricks ‍♀️ so it's a window screen

pzpz2135: Love seeing enterprising black women represented! Thank you!

DomO Jackson-Grant: I love her! She is so talented

Bridget Munoz: That was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! A WHOLE LESSON ON SLAYING!! Omygoodness. Thank you so much!! He was very nice and humble didn’t mind sharing. LOVE THE LOOK!!

Navyforeveryoung Jean-Philippe: “As you can see she has a lot of forehead space to work with”

Lontrese Unrated: The women really asked every question possible. This was a great tutorial.

shin23 shin23: Great job and your client looked so beautiful. Your skills are on point, and you explained the technique well. Thanks for your video.

J.A. Whittler: Now this is a talented stylist! Yesss....the young lady (client) hair turned out absolutely beautiful. I love how the hair artist explained every step. She was very thorough. The client looked very beautiful!

Jason Shurland: This wig look so good . no baby hair just make it look so natural

Nesha Maria: They literally didn’t give her no space they could’ve sat down!

D.W. Does It: Omg I love him ! He really saying everything I’m working towards ! Inspiration fr fr

Carly Ray: Yasss Alonzo schooling tf out of me omg now I want to try a new lace

ItsTheGlow4Me: Not to down play what he just did and he did a great job. But pretty much everything that he did as in applying and styling the wig you can learn right on here from other stylists or non-stylists. I pretty much learn how to make my own wigs, pluck my own wigs, bleach knots, lift and color my wigs and apply my wigs all on here. If you have the talent and will to learn you can slay your own hair like a celebrity stylist without paying $1500 + don’t get me wrong I respect the hustle but I like keeping my coins more lol

Kfit: I love this show! Can you have a show for those of us who are natural and at an age when we decide to stop coloring our hair to go gray? Thanks

Emm: Yes Alonzo! Please school them on consumer vs professional products. It makes a HUGE difference.

Alicia Wilson: I love the fact at 17:40 he said no matter how good the wig is, it is going to look like a wig up close meaning you will see the lace. Because in the beginning of me trying on wigs I would try SO hard for me not to see the lace AT ALL so it will look believable

fashionwithoutlabels: Stylist learned their techniques on Youtube. This type of skill isn't taught in cosmetology school...trust me i know, i went to beauty school. Thanks to the real talents sharing their knowledge on Youtube!

Seraphina👼: Why do people think left handed people are like a whole different species???

Insert Name Here: So good to see Notorious KIA doing big things!!!❤ Proud of u! Y'all asked all the questions I was thinking thank u for this segment.

Dawn Evans: Of course the clients hair is going to look fabulous! Alonzo is a professional hairstylist, that does hair for the stars ! I would love to have Alonzo do my hair!

Domonique Prince: I Absolutely Love #AlonzoArnold he is the bomb. This class was Awesome. Thank you!

Byrddi_ Tube: When Zo' grabbed that hair spray, I was wondering if they were gonna finally give him some room! 30:40 is where they should have stood the entire time!

gloriakmm: Some poor film making aspects here have let this video down. The model’s back was turned to the camera. The stylist works on the model’s right side while the camera focuses on her left. The stylist was talking while blow drying, so we could hardly hear her. (Or him!) The long shots show us nothing. Great concept but better planning and editing were needed.

Emilia B: He is extremely talented!

Dee Fine Whine: Alonzo does one on one classes that people pay for. This video was not meant for y’all to see all his secrets hence why you can’t see certain things.

The Master Diamond of My Life: Very humble stylist with a lot of style!

𝐋𝐚’𝐋𝐚 𝐇𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐬: HIM: brush clients hair , THEM: what would you call that method!

Luvneigh Luvneigh: Love it!!! FABULOUS job!!! ♥️♥️♥️

ojantastic: I love Alonzoooo. Side note: How tf y’all thought somebody named Alonzo was a woman? Lmao

libraladyful: ❤️ Alonzo is awesome

Samirah Stanford: I love this video, Alonzo was fabulous as usual

Red Tucker: Thanks for the class.. Love it.. So pretty!!

Valentine: I would LOVE for you guys to do a special like this but for styling ranges** of natural hair. Anthony Dickey from Hair Rules is amazing

Ruxy Bratz: Great video!! I’m learn so much about it for my wig business, I’m Spanish girl but I’m understand everything , I need a take a class with Alonzo one day ✊✨

Lynda Jay: The natural sister is "The Notorious KIA" hey girl !!! I'm always on her channel--love her !!!

Laticia Lawton: That Silver Bird blowdryer is my go to!!! In hair school we had a yellow bird only thing I don't like is they don't sell the attachments separately

It's Brittny BEECH: Love the video it breaks everything down in a fun and easy to learn way BUT the lady with the Bob KEPT touching the client's hair GIRL personal space IS still expected and just because you see the stylist touching her hair which is her job DOESN'T MEAN YOU CAN like she kept staring her wig down like sis chill I woulda grabbed her hand with the quickness like stawp

Truth Prevail: I used to hate lace wigs & thought they were disgusting. Alonzo made me fall in love with them, I don’t know why. Maybe it’s because he doesn’t over pluck the hairline and lay them edges like everyone I see on Instagram. Thanks Alonzo!

ItsKarryanne: I love the questions these ladies are asking

Jackie A: just wow and the tips were great, so much pride in the work a true professional

Natalie Knight: Love how they communicated so well with each other, and they diff accents. Great vid,, a lot of info!

Forrest Whittaker’s Eye: He still likes to be called “he”

~Daphne Amy's World~!: Yesss Alonzo Arnold is doing it ❤

C S: Im gonna say as a stylist that the best thing you can do is tell me when you don’t like tour hair. I don’t want to think you like it, I want you to really like it. Plus that person that can’t speak up does exactly what Alonzo says and they go home and mess with it, then they post about it, then they tell everyone else about it, and you’re like... why couldn’t you just say something? You could have been happy, but you decided not to. Preach Alonzo!

Tantamount Montgomery: Beautiful job keep up the good work.

Miss. A B: This is GOLD. I need record this because people are paying thousands for this info.

Maya and James: These ladies asked such good questions

Jasmine Bester: The hair model is very beautiful, her skin is so smooth ✨✨✨✨

Kiara Harris: Omg I learned so much! Thank you

Tiffany N. Lowder: I love Alonzo's hair and work! I wish they would back the heck up they are doing too much and in the way. Plus, like it was stated your face needs to be clean and clear before applying the wig otherwise it won't adhere well and can also cause a breakout. Flower power pants is rude all this touching the hair and such she is in the way and disrupting the flow.

AsIs2884: The model is beautiful, wig and install is amazing

Sandra Lin: As a stylist, I'm stressed by this small work space. Also, I wish the hosts would have given her some space to work. The camera angles were not amazing here either. Love this idea of this video but the production was not all there.

P Jewel: Damn im slow. I swear i thought Alanzo was a woman. He pretty AF

Naughty Nes Jones: I know she is annoyed as hell with them two standing over her so close asking a million questions with the natural hair style lol

Andrea McNeely: Alonzo is awesome! Makes me want to book a flight to Atlanta and get an appointment.

Magic Poke: Amazing hair dresser and great Hair on the ladies.

Threec Turner: I love this stylist she the bomb!!!

Deniece McKessey: 20:16 Mohawk: now at this point can she get up from the chair if she wanted to? Alonzo: No! Cuz she ain't done.

Tyaja: I just loove him he be slaying

CC Walthour: It would have been nice if they had asked Alonzo if he (not sure of the proper pronoun) charges more for natural hair vs. relaxed/thinner hair types. This has been a hot button topic for a long time. I would have liked to hear a professional hairstylists opinion since he likes to do everything- from shampoo all the way to the finishing of the wig process.

Joni Mccalla: Lady: This is sorcery Stylist: thank you

Letshego Precious: Thank you very much fir using a beautiful dark skin lady. Africans comes in all shades!

Adrienne Hicks: All four of them are so freaking beautiful!

Garrett Kaalund: Ok..so far no one has asked this question...where can I purchase that beautiful unit????? I really need that in my life

Janai Alliyah: I know Alonzo was getting irritated with with that lady touching the clients hair ! ‍♀️ I cant stand when too many hands are in my clients hair

shinebrightlikea diamond: Pls, protect ur edges. Ladies. Her skin is flawless

Kierra Jackson: Y’all didn’t peep that hair spray motion he was throwing shade like “if it get in your face , you too damn close” it was definitely excessive , im here for it

M.A. Logan: 1) alonzos skill, professionalism and tips were so fire 2) the model was GORGEOUS. 3) For everyone saying ‘I’m a stylist, I wouldn’t prefer people that close...’ are you a stylist on tv? Where else were they supposed to go to make commentary?

Qua-Denia Watts: Love it

LaViLaChay: It's funny how he did this interview or tutorial when it's not really full in-depth way on how he install wigs. lol He gave the watered-down version

Adrienne Unae: Alonzo! As SOON as I finishing combing out my 24 inches of locs, I'm coming for a wig.

mya: These stylists need to take note especially when he talks about taking his time and Washing/blow drying the clients hair

Greta: I love his spirit
