So, let's get into this shop talk all right. Whatever happens in the shop stays in the shop okay period, all right, so one thing about being a stylist. Is i mean you, you really develop a close relationship with your clients and it's not like a personal relationship like okay, we're going out to eat and stuff together, but it's like in the shop. It'S like y'all become best friends, damn near because y'all spend hours together. You know you're all up in a head and they're telling you stories about their personal life, their love life, and it's like you really get to know your clients, so this particular client all right. We were cool like i'm, not gon na. You know play alike. It wasn't that it was really cool, and you know in the shop of course - and i really liked her like she was coming to me for years or let me stop probably like two years. She was coming to me for like two years and she was cool. She was funny - and i really liked her because, like she always had creative hairstyles and every time i will post her like pictures on my page, like her pictures, will go crazy like every time so one day, all right, she booked an appointment and she got bundled. She got like maybe four blonde bundles. She got the roots colored, she got a full install and normally she came like to me every time like she needed a new sewing, but she would always have her old sewing out. So you know that's like a full 360 service. She got a takeout, she got a wash, she got new bundles and an install right, so her total came up to like i think it was like 600 or like 650 somewhere up there. I know it was in the 600s, so i did her hair like usual and it came out really really cute. It was like this bone straight middle part. The baby hairs was fleeky and then the roots were like this ash brown. Then we toned the blonde hair. So the the blonde hair was like this ashy like 613 and it was really cute like it came out perfect. So after i was done, you know i guess normally she would pay me cash app or whatever, so she pulled out her phone. You know she was, you know about to pay me by the leave like normal and all of a sudden like she was like. Okay, my cash app isn't working and i'm like okay, you know i mean there's other ways to send money. So i'm like you know, do you have zel, or can you go to the bank and she's like well, i can't get money out the bank and i don't have zell and it was like all these other issues. Like i don't know, i think she'd have a bank account or something so like cash up was the only way that she could pay me, but it just magically wasn't working this day. So i'm not tripping. You know i'm not tripping too hard cause. I trust her. You know she always pays for her hair, so she's, like you know, can i leave and get my money situation together or whatever and then come back and i'm like okay cool. This is me being a stylist. That'S too nice but anyways whatever. So i let her do that so a week goes by right. She still hasn't paid me now. This is not just like an install. This is like hair color. You don't install like it's a lot, so you know this is not something that i can let slide. I mean i really can't let nothing slide, but this is something that i'm not just gon na forget so after a week she still doesn't hit me up, so i'm over here reminding her you know. Do you have the money yet? What'S going on or whatever she says, she still doesn't. Have it all right? Another week goes by okay, i'm asking her: do you have the money? She comes up with this elaborate story that she gave the money to her sister and then her sister spent the money and then like moved out of town and like when i tell you it was the most dramatic story. I'Ve ever heard, i'm like girl. All this happened in the last seven days and she's like yes, i promise, but i promise i'm gon na give you your money and i'm not trying to run off with your money and i'm gon na make it right and i'm just like oh child, but i'm Still patient, even at this point, i'm still patient so another seven days go by and at this point this girl owes me between 600 and 700 and it's been three weeks all right. So at this point, i'm just getting mad like i'm mad at this point and i text her and i'm like okay, the only way i know i can scare this is if i bring up the law, so i tell her i'm going to sue you. If you don't come up with my money today, so let me tell y'all something all right: when villagers get hit by the law. Okay, they be getting scared and she basically text me back and she was like i'm not trying to steal from you. I told you what happened and i'm gon na pay you your money, still didn't. Send me the money, though so at this point baby, i'm saying over the edge. So i make a whole post about her. I post her picture. I post the hairstyle that i did and i basically said if this girl comes to your shop, do not do her hair because she gon na basically get her hair done and run. And when i tell you, my followers were going crazy on her like taking her out. Some people were recognizing her telling me her phone number even already had it, but people thought that was really trying to put me on. So basically i turned her into public enemy number one and listen. I don't care, i do not care. I do not care about your feelings, because you did not care about my feelings all right when i had to pay blueprint for three weeks straight: pay my assistance and you're sitting here owing me, six hundred dollars like girl what so y'all i'm guessing that she saw The post right because people are probably sending her the post like screenshots and stuff, so she sends me the money like magically comes up with seven hundred dollars. Just sends me the money right and i don't respond because i'm like girl, i'm done with you like. I had to chase you down for three weeks. I didn't say thank you. I didn't say a girl. What thank you. I don't girl. I don't even know why. I'M even thinking about thanking you but anyways, so she's like take that post down and blah blah blah, and i ain't steal from you and you lying and i still don't respond because i'm like girl get girl get girl all right. So so i have my money. All right, i'm happy, i'm i'm done at this point. I delete the post. You know false alarm, okay, so she ends up making a post about me on her facebook like oh, this stylist is so rude. This stylist is rude and, of course, you don't tell on facebook exactly what she did right, she's only posting that i called her out and that i posted her, but it was all lies and she paid me and blah blah blah, and i look in the comments And everyone's you know talking bad about me and stuff, but i don't give up, because i have my money and that's all that matters so long story short to all my stylists. I know that you know you can build a kind of relationship with your clients, but business is business and you should always create boundaries for yourself. So people don't cross these lines and think that it's just just okay with you so once again protect yourselves, create your boundaries, stylist and girl. Don'T let these folks get over on you, okay!
