Tips: Beginner Friendly Bob | How To Install & Style | Ft. Dola Hair

So this is the package that my wig came in from Dola hair super cute packaging love it. So when you open your box, your wig should be on top and there's some other things that they came with. It came with two clips baby hair brush caps and also a pamphlet on exchanges. So here's the wig, my lighting, is really bad, but it's a bob and one side is actually longer than the other which I really really like. I don't want to look like Lord Farquaad from Shrek, like that's, not poppin, so in the inside you know it comes with combs on it's two on the side, one at the top and one in the back. It also has a band which I love. So, let's really good start it. I have my cap, I'm gon na put it on and cut my two holes and put my gel now. I would like to talk to you about something interesting. I found out okay, you know how I usually use got to be gel. That can take a lot of alcohol. I really look at the ingredients and I was like mmm. I was not good for your hair. Oh it drives it out. As you know, I don't put the gossipy gentle on the hair. I put it right before the hairline anyway, so it really doesn't matter what me, but you just in case I saw another stylist use: eco gel eco styling gel. So that's what I'm gon na try! You do need to make sure it dries completely. Don'T try to rush things. Take your time, usually I sit under the dryer, but I make videos on my blow-dryer. While that is drying, I recommend that you put your makeup and the inside of the cap. So this week has transparent lace, which is like the second best lace out there. The first one is, of course HD, but transparent is really good. So when you put your makeup over transparent, if that makeup matches with your skin and perfectly then you should get a perfect bling after you're done with that you're gon na put your makeup on your cap. Just so it gives you a scalp illusion now you're gon na cut that extra part of the cap off. I cannot stress enough, please be careful and take your time you basically press the incisors like and celscan, so be very, very careful. Now you can take your alcohol or witch hazel and clean all that little makeup that you got around your hairline off. Y'All know I'm in search of the best glue. So I decided to try out this glue is called goat glue and I heard very very good things about it. It is latex, so it's very, very sticky. You need to be careful or you just gon na get it everywhere. So be very, very careful. It says to apply a thin layer and spread it around and let it dry air dry at that and then another layer for a more secure hold so with normal glues. I usually put like five layers, but this is latex, so I guess all you need is two. I actually have this awake on for two days now. I'M I think this video. Two days later, I haven't wore my scarf. My edge wrap. No, nothing and this wig is still on my head. I have no lifting, no nothing. So this is this glue is pretty good anyways. I put two layers of that. Let it dry completely for about like ten minutes now, I'm putting my wig on. You have to be very, very careful because this glue is sticky. Oh, it's very, very sticky, make sure your placement is right before you fully press down. You want to make sure the lace that reaches from side to side. I work from the middle to side to side, so I use that comb I place it and then I use the comb to press down and melt the lace you're just gon na do that to both sides and make sure it's all secure press down really really Good I like to blow dry just in case just to make sure everything is getting dry and secure. I haven't used this glue before or latex glue at all. So you know I was just making sure now, you're gon na cut your lace, make sure that you're not cutting in a straight line. Nobody wants to see that lace. Everybody thinks that lace. You can't see it like it's supposed to be undetectable. No, we finesse it to me. It look like that, but you're always gon na see some kind of lace, but it really does help if you cut a zigzag or jagged kind of angle, when you're done cutting your legs to make sure everything's, secure, pressed down, make sure it's melted in there. You could go back and put some more of your makeup just to make it blend. Please don't click too much husband is gon na look cakey and make sure that foundation that you're using is your natural color. Please do not get a darker color or a lighter color, or it will not look good. It'S gon na look like your scalp is a different color and that's not natural, so you can't leave it like this, but most of you guys like that baby hair. Okay, so we're about to do that. I'M gon na try I'm gon na attempt to do some swoopy swoop. Okay, a little swoop action, there's OB like my way, fourth time attempting. So let's get some practice in there. I just separated my baby hairs. Now I'm putting a lot of body wrapping lotion just to separate them a little bit more then you're, gon na put your band on for about five minutes. I did a little part, nothing special y'all, nothing special at all. I just wanted to see how we look the side part, which I think I have to do, because one side is longer than the other, so I don't think it would look right in the middle part, all no, but that's just what I chose to do now. I'M cutting the baby hairs, I think the shorter the baby here is the more natural it looks now y'all. I got another technique, so I just found this out. I'Ve been watching you, you got probably follow arrogance, hey everybody know who arrogant eight is so. I was reading through his comments and that sounds weird but yeah through this comment, and somebody asks oh, what a styling mousse to using he's like, I don't use styling mousse I use hairspray so to do baby hair, so we're talking about babies. So that's where I attempted to do, and it actually looked really good, because before I would have people like, I would watch people's little YouTube tutorials and then what use got to be gel and stuff I'll be like that's not flakes of, but actually there with the Hairspray and I didn't get no flaking or if I did, I feel like it, wouldn't if you get flaking off or like you put too much, but no, I didn't get any flaking slow, yeah, so 15 hours later, finally finish them if he is making my part, I just wanted it to be a deep side part. This frontal on this wig goes very very far back, so your part can be as deep as you want it to be. So I'll just put my wrap on so that the baby hairs could take a nap thing to lay down. Well, it's actually a lastic band. I feel like that holds better now, I'm just taking about a lot of body and playing it on. Since I know where I want the part and then I'm just gon na style, it real quick, so I'm just gon na put a few curls in it. I just wanted a new look. There'S my first bob and I I don't know how to act. I really don't so we can't see yeah, I don't like Shirley Temple curls, so we just gon na have to comb this out. I like the loose wave look anyway, so this is perfect. I like a little volume out. I love the feathered look, so I'm just gon na put a little bit of layers in the front, so I'm taking off my wrap now, I'm basically done I'm just gon na touch it up a little bit by putting that hot comb on the part just so It lays down really really flat ISU's, I'm done here. Oh Jesus, I was a lot nobody. This is my face of Bobby in our little okay, something new okay. We finally got something new, because you know I stay with my 24 24 inches. Thank you.
