Music by F1fty Beatz - Vintage Vibes - https://thmatc.co/?l=0C64D51E

It'S the 4z hair queen herself, and i know you see how sleek this braided ponytail is: i'm going to teach you how to get consistent results each and every time, no matter how thick textured or full your hair is. This entire sleigh is glamorous and i'm going to give you all the gems, but if you want a more detailed time stamp check the video menu or the description box, but this routine is way too damn good. We got ta get into it. So if you're anything like me and you have very thick 4z textured hair, you have to break the hair down in two sections and my first part is going to span from ear to ear right around the area of the crown it doesn't have to be straight. You guys know i struggle struggle, parts unite, okay and then the next part i want to be down the center of the hair going to the midpoint of the crown. My scalp is a little bit irritated. So please don't comfort me. I just wash my hair. So clearly, a product caused this irritation to my scalp. Now my hair detangling routine, is one for the books, i'm taking the felicia leather with detangling brush, which i'll have linked in the description box and i'd like to use this after applying a heat protectant. Yes, this routine will include heat, but of course you can skip it, but this is the perfect detangling brush to remove any knots. Now. Remember that one step volumizer that i used on my wigs we're going to be using this on my natural hair. Yes, it works. You can use it on your hair too. What this does is just elongate, the hair and further detangle it again. You don't have to do an extensive amount of passes through the sections, so again be careful and monitor the amount of heat that you're applying to your hair. I know my limits so make sure that you are assessing how your hair is responding. I, like my styles to be neat, and this nape hair removal step is something i've been doing in my videos where i wear updos for years i like to use this head scarf and wrap it around, because it acts as a guide when i go in with The clippers so that i'm not moving too far up the nape cutting away too much hair. That'S what i want to avoid. So again, the scarf acts as a really good guide, and, of course, you want to use toner or alcohol to cleanse the area. Now that our hair is perfectly detangled, i'm going in with the style factor edge. Booster love this product purchased it from the beauty, supply store, and i like to apply this near the roots, and you want to work this in with a medium to hard bristle brush, because you don't want the product to just sit on the hair. You can also go on with a touch of oil to reduce the appearance of that white residue. That sometimes occurs, but again really take your time, applying the edge booster to the perimeter of the section working it through the section, not all the way to the ends about the midpoint of the section making sure that it is as sleek as possible. Y'All see if you watch my last natural hair tutorial, you know your girl's hair is growing, but i want to use an ouchless scrunchie that doesn't have that metal clasp to secure the hair about four times. I twisted the hair in this section down to the very ends, because we still have to go in and do a little bit more work. So i'm going to take a bit more of the style factor edge booster and i'm using a comb. The comb is going to slick down those roots, making it extra sleek, because we want the hair to be as flat and as sleek as possible. So this fine-tooth comb really helps to work the edge booster in to slick down our roots. I'M doing the same thing for the next section as a lesson to you all. Please monitor how your hair responds to new products, because it can irritate your scalp. It can cause flaking okay, so i know you saw. I did two passes with the hot comb: y'all not gon na eat me up. I know my hair do what is best for you. I just wanted a small pass at the area of the center of the middle part, so it could just you know, easily be slipped down. That'S all again. You can skip that step, but to do just a few passes when your hair just has heat protectant on it, you should be fine and pay attention to how i'm alternating between using a bristle brush and the fine-tooth comb. These work together to yield the best results and that's why i want you guys to make sure your hair is properly detangled, so it flows through the section smoothly to secure the right section. I have to go in and do the rubber band oil soak routine, where i take castor oil, pour it into the top of the bottle and then add my rubber bands and i'm going to allow this to soak for a bit to saturate the rubber bands, so That when i apply them to my hair, they're lubricated they're not dry, causing any further breakage, that's the trick. I'Ve been doing for years, y'all know how i do very protective at every step, so this secured the second section i'm going to do the same for the opposite side. It feels so good to be doing a natural hair tutorial. Like me and my hair, we really have been getting to know each other and i'm trying to retain more length and just be healthier about my overall regimen and i love it. But don't eat me up about passing the hot comb slightly through these top of the section i had to it works and you guys can see for the sections at the front. I broke them down into two smaller parts so that again i'm slicking down the base of the section and then going into slick down the top of the section. Now i waited about a week to do this style. I wanted to make sure that i was nurturing my scalp, because i know that i won't be able to access my scalp directly while this style is in though i won't have it in for too long anywhere from five to seven days. It'S perfectly fine to wear this style. If you go beyond that again be careful, be very intentional about protecting your scalp and your natural hair, because i know once i take this style down, we have to have a wash day and plus i didn't want to do this on freshly washed hair, because styles, Like this, they typically flow a little bit better when the scalp has had time to like acquiesce. Now, here's a bonus tip, i'm going to go in with the hard head spray. Most people use the freeze spray put that down. We don't like that. I'M using the hard head spray, i'm going to be a little bit modest about how much i apply and i'm only doing it for the top of the sections, and i just want to use that fine tooth comb to work it in, but then follow up with The blow dryer on the cool setting making sure that i work this into the hair. So i don't have that white cast. So i'm trying to move that product across the section now sanic neck strips are going to be your favorite. I applied three of these one because i'm dramatic, i didn't need the third piece, but you know what sometimes i'd be going crazy with this, but i like to follow up with my satin scarf and let this set now. This is what i'm going to do different. I have a lot of hair in this ponytail, i'm going to detangle it and break it into three separate parts. I'M going to twist the hair down to almost near the ends and then braid the base of the twist for added security. My hair is way too long to try to braid it with the braiding hair that we're going to use - and i felt like this is a great alternative, because i can tuck and hide my hair so that it's not too exposed to the elements and the braiding Hair that i'm using is by made beauty. This is their braid nation, pre-stretch braids, it's 32 inches long, since it has that texture to it, which is perfect for the 4c4z5 glc e girls, but i'm only using two packs of hair, so girl. You will have hair left over and here i'm going to be securing a rubber band around the midpoint of the left or right side of the section you can choose, because i want this braid to be longer than 32 inches. So you have to stagger where you're going to secure it, and you guys will see, keep in mind where this rubber band is because i'm going to place that exactly where the base of the ponytail of my natural hair is so. I use this as a guide. As a marker - and it keeps the braiding hair in place as you maneuver and secure it onto your natural ponytail so with another ouchless scrunchie, i'm going to hold that braiding hair in place, making sure that it sits on top of my natural hair. And then i'm going to secure it approximately four times: it's not a taste paint tutorial. If i don't show you my filled attempt this is the first fill the tent and what i essentially wanted to do was use the braiding hair to tuck my natural hair. So it's not exposed and trust me, that's a smart way to do it, but tucking can be difficult when you are doing it on yourselves. So if you have a stylist, if you have a friend who knows how to tuck this, is it but again this is a complete fail and, of course, you know, we have to secure the base of the ponytail. So you need to keep a small section tucked away, and then you can use that small section after you're braiding or before you're done braiding and wrap it around the base. And i'm using that hard head spray to apply around the base of the ponytail section. And if you look closely you can see my natural hair is sticking out, so it's not properly tucked, which is why this was a fail. If you've ever done a half up half down, then you are familiar with this process of wrapping the hair combing it through and applying the hard head spray so that it stays secure and it just creates a neater. More polished, look to the braided ponytail if you're still with me, tell me where you would wear this braided ponytail look to i wore it to a cookout. I wore it to dinner. One thing about it is absolutely gorgeous now. Here is my second attempt and i'm being very strategic about these sections of braiding hair and how i'm going to use them to cover the twist of my natural hair, i'm making sure to cover my hair with the braiding hair. But again, the goal is to tuck it completely so that it does not show and to be real with you guys. It does show a tiny bit, but i would rather it show like point five percent, then it'd be showing like 20, because i'm i'm not a perfectionist. I mean i am, but i'm a realist and i'm braiding under if you guys can tell - and i realized i should have gotten a color number four, because this braiding hair is slightly darker than my hair. You know in the summer time my hair gets a little light, but i'm braiding the hair downward, and you want to use the detangling brush to comb through the hair. As you are braiding, this hair was not crazy with the tangles, so that is a plus, given that this type of braiding hair has a bit of texture to it. So i highly recommend this hair and this long ponytail, 30 plus inches. Excuse me yeah, get into it, but secure the end of your braid with a rubber band and then i'm using a bit of mousse and take that time to use your hair shears to cut away those flyaways and that frizz and i am going to dip the Ends of the braid, it makes everything neater and honey. I put my press-on nails on my jewelry, my outfit. You know i had to do the bold red lip one thing about it.
